Welcome to Gaia! ::

Dust was taken aback at his callous insensitivity when he heard Petra whisper the word white. He knew she was Technically blind, and he was seriously kicking himself for it. Looking away, Dust eyed the tub faucet. Taking a moment, he moved over and sat down on the rim, using his right arm to reach over and, hopefully, turned the faucet handles quietly enough to avoid alerting Petra to her minor blunder. He added some hot water to make the icy cold water warmer.

"Hospitals!? Geh, no thanks. I'd rather let you give me stitches than go to a hospital. Bad memories, plus, Hospitals are the best place to get sick. All I really need you to do is just help me clean my wounds... Maybe dress them..."

Dust knew that was far from what he really needed her to do, but he was already putting the clearly shaken girl through more than he wanted to by asking her to help him with this. He would just have to wait until either his powers returned, or another Titan with sight.

You're an idiot, you know that? Dust frowned at himself, knowing that he was missing something. Finding himself at a loss for words somewhat, Dust sighed and gingerly reached up and bean trying to undue a few of teh small tangles in his hair.

" Hey.... uhm... Why'd you join the Titans?" Dust honestly wanted to beat himself in the face, the question was both invasive, and unimaginative.
Sav sat there looking back between the people that were doing so much to help Dani and then he returned his gaze back to Dragon. He knew that Dragon had called out to Kit to finish off Travesty but he wasn't quite sure if she could do it after she now knows that it will end Dragon permanently. Sav heard full well what Dragon had meant for him to do but that was the thing, until Travesty was killed there was nothing that he could do to let them leave, but at the least he could get them to gather in one place. He looked around at the others.

"If you want to leave, then stand next to Dani," Sav looked disgustingly over to the body of Travesty, he knew that she was watching him, daring him to try to leave while she still drew breath. "I have to do this... for him" his words held such sorrow and pain, "I'll be back soon." He faded over to were Kit was still frozen from her attack, he put his hand on her shoulder and whispered, "You should go to him now, you don't have time for regrets."

His hand slid from her shoulder and he moved over to Travesty's beaten form. Her eyes burned into his as he approached. He kneeled down before her and grabbed her by the white hair pulling her up to her knees to meet his gaze. His eyes were black with a slight green glaze to them as they pierced her violet eyes and stared into her very soul. His voice resounded but was soft yet dark and fierce.

"It is about time you get rubbed out from the face of this world and all others, Fae" he raised her head even higher getting a whimper out of her. His free left hand came down upon her face and covered it, "I'll give you one last moment for recountance, but know that were I'm sending you, you won't have any respite."

Travesty's focus had been fading in and out of reality but the voices had been so clear. She had heard Dragon yelling for his love and the pain and anguish in his voice. She heard him tell the others to leave. Like she would let them while she was still here.

Then Sav was upon her and she grimaced as he pulled her roughly to her knees. His eyes scared her more than anything ever had. There was a fate worst than death spoken in those eyes. He told her to recount but she wouldn't be broken as such.

"You'll never have rest from my kind, Kahzthkid." she spoke out defiantly, "My deeds don't give you the right for this and you will pay for such acts." A smile barely shown through the hand covering her face… but that was the last thing she said…

Sav didn't blink a those words. He just muttered, "Let them come for me, I do more by ending you than honoring a dying lie." His hand gripped down on her face and a green light brightened beneath it. Travesty gave out a scream as the light exploded throughout her body leaving nothing but smoldering ashes. Travesty the Fae was no longer in this existence. She was gone and Sav could finally take Dani away from here and take him somewhere he could get more help.

He took one last look at what he had done and then grabbing Kit he faded over to Dragon who, by Sav's final actions, had minutes if not seconds left. He left her there before him, "I took her death from you, hold your love while you can." His voice seemed pained but he quickly faded back over to Dani.

"I'll not wait much longer," he said. "If you intend to go with me, speak now and get over here." He kneeled down next to Dani and whispered, "I know who can take care of you, please don't leave me just yet."

(((okay soooo…. This is still interesting… You think it is over, far from that… there is always what happens next… keep going…)))

So many things happened all at once. She's been blinded by fury and revenge for her fellow teammates, and ended up making one of the worst mistakes she ever could. The bloodied crystal sank into Travesty's chest. It took Kit a moment to realize what this meant, and when she did, she felt as if someone had just speared her through the heart. Dear God, no....NO! Before she could do much else, she felt Sav's hand on her shoulder and could only watch as he finished Travesty off. The next thing she knew, she was beside Lance. She looked up at Sav with a look that said 'thank you'. Despite the fact that Kit had plunged the blade into the Fae's heart, it had been by pure accident due to her stupid and careless actions. She probably couldn't have finished Travesty, even if Lance had wanted her to.

She turned to Lance. Seeing him in pain was destroying her on the inside. "I'm sorry, Lance...I'm sorry..." she kept saying, sitting next to him and carefully propping him up against her. She put her head down, touching it to his and hid her tears. Why was she always such a screw up? She tried and tried, but in the end, her reckless behavior never ceased to hurt others around her.

Lifting her head, she looked down at his heart which seemed to be causing him pain. She felt another stab of pain at her heart. "I'm so sorry...please don't leave me, Lance," she said, whispering, though her voice was getting more and more hysterical. "I love you." She wiped the tears away and bit her lip so that more wouldn't come. It may have been selfish of her to say such things, but she wanted Lance to know what she felt.

Syn looked up from her work to watch the scene with Kit stabbing the Fae and Sav ending her life. A soft sigh escaped her lips. That white haired chick really was an idiot. A light smile spread across her face. But Syn did admit that she was jealous of the other girl's love for the boy with scales. Syn looked over to Sav and stood up next to Dani. She nodded to Sav, indicating that she wanted to go. Before she did that though, she turned and went over to Havok, taking the smaller girls hand in her own and leading her over towards Dani and Sav.

Dragon

It hurt him to hear Kit sounding so wracked with her own pain, but he was distracted by another flashing wave of intense pain in his chest. His body convulsed in waves, and his muscles locked up, holding him in a tight bowed position for more than a minute. When it was over, there wasn't any strength left in his muscles and he collapsed, motionless. His chest barely rose now, and his vision was fading.

He looked up to Kit, who held him in her lap, and despite himself, he smiled. It was done now, Travesty was dead, and although it hadn't been as he'd planned, he was relieved. His life's work was now done. His purpose had been achieved. And Kit had done it. She had taken up the mantle for Dragon, and had saved them all.

"Kittie, sweetheart," he said, trying to reach up to her face, but couldn't even move his hand. "don't be sad for me. You did it. You beat the bad guy, you're a hero. I love you too, more than this world will ever know. And when you make it to the other side, I'll be there, waiting for you, my Kittie, my love, my hero." And with that, Dragon's eyes closed, his heart slowed to a stop, and his body went limp. Dragon died there, in Kit's arms.

((There's more story to tell! Stay tuned, in Dani's words!))
(( just lettin you know I'm still here. just haven't been able to think of anything to post ))
Sav didn't want to stay much longer but it seemed he would have to be coming back eventually anyways. He looked around at those left alive before him, Blake, Syn, Havok, Kit, Sohl, and Dani. He nkew he couldn't take everyone with him at once but figured that he would have to come back for Dani, Lance, and Kit soon. He addressed everyone who was before him.

"It is time to go." He reached out and grabbed Syn's hand and Blake's shoulder and pulled them backwards letting the meadow fade away into the prior battlefield left by Sohl and Syn. It had been a couple of hours since they left but not much had changed. The fires were smoldering over but much of the wreckage was left because it seemed two others had been fighting after they left. Sav released Blake's shoulder with a light shove.

"You should go to the tower and figure out what went down while we were gone, try to find Petra and Kenta, tell them what happened on the other side." He sighed and gave a pained look, "I've got to take Dani and Lance somewhere for a while, wether or not Kit goes with me is entirely up to her but Talon and Dust should be able to keep things running along with you till we return." He gave a nod to Blake letting him know that he should go as soon as he could.

Sav looked back to Syn's hand which he had unnoticedly held fast. He dropped it suddenly but his gaze held firm. "You should know you don't owe me anything. I just did what I could." He looked over to Havok, "You make sure she stays safe now." He took a step away but turned quickly and spoke up, "You don't have to do anything you don't want to, but know that you can always change fate if you really want to."

With that very ingmatic statement, Sav stepped backwards returning once again to Dani, Sohl, Lance, and Kit. He quickly faded around the meadow collecting Dani and Sohl setting them next to Lance and Kit. Kit was still pinning over her lost love. It was hard for even Sav to conprehend but still knew that there was nothing that could have stopped his death this day. He had said that himself. He lie there in her arms whilst she weeps upon him. He gently touched her shoulder.

"Kit, It's time to let him go. We have to help Dani." He looked over to his friend, He knew someone who could help him, but he hoped it didn't get him into anymore trouble. "Do you want to come with me? Or do you want me to leave you back in the real world?"

He waited anxiously for her answer. He knew he couldn't wait for long if he really wanted Dani to have much of a chance. Her answer wouldn't change anything for him. But having someone along would make his part at least a little easier. Grief loves company...
Blake nodded, and his wings flared as he headed towards the tower.

Kenta swung himself up from the building edge and looked at Jei, " So.....do I wait?" he asked as he sat crosslegged.

Syn felt Sav's hand grab her own and soon, they were back in the real world. She blinked, seeing the destruction that she, Sohl, and Havok had created was still there. How long had they been in the meadow? A few moments, an hour, maybe more? Well, she was never good at telling time anyways. Her yellow eyes turned to look up at Sav when he released her hand.

She nodded when he said she didn't owe him anything. She let go of Havok's hand and put her hands on her hips, watching the man disappear. She scoffed and looked up at the clouds. "I don't believe in fate," she said, but couldn't help but smile. He was quite an interesting guy. Her eyes turned to look down at Havok, and she gave her a light smile. "What to do now?" she asked the smaller girl.

As much as she didn't want to say good bye, it couldn't be helped. No matter how hard she could have tried to save Lance, he died before she could do anything. And it was partly her fault. She hid her face in his hair, letting the last of her tears slip out. Her chest ached and her eyes felt sore. He thought he could just say stuff like that and then die? What had he been thinking? She wasn't a hero; he'd been the one who would have finished Travesty off had it not been for Dani's injuries. "I'll meet you there," she said.

She turned her face up towards Sav when she felt him touch her shoulder, obviously trying to be careful with her. The look on her face resembled a child's with a lost, terribly confused look as if she didn't understand why something like this could happen. She looked down at Lance and wiped her eyes. As much as she wanted to stay holding him like this, it would only be painful to stay here. If she tried to cry anymore, she feared she'd become sick. Her stomach was already hurting. She gave Sav a slight nod. "No...," she said, speaking softly because she didn't yet trust her voice. "I'll come with you. But what should we do about Lance?" she asked. They couldn't simply leave his body here.

Jessica watched the people appearing in the park. noting that a few of them looked sad she was curios but continued watching from the rooftop
Sav looked unto Kit with a caring glance then turned his gaze upon Lance, Dani, and Sohl. His friend, his friend's blood, and his friend's incarnate. He knew that he was pushing it taking them to him but there wasn't much he could do about it. There was one thing he worried about with Sohl and that was that Dray was somewhere inside there which means that he wouldn't be too much to handle if things go wrong but he doubted that he would like it much.

Lance was gone now, Sav knew that much. Not even the Arkitek could bring him back, but this trip was for Dani. Sav looked back over to Kit still holding her shoulder, he reached out towards Dani and placed his hand Sohl's hand and held it to Dani's. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and muttered to Kit.

"Don't worry, Kit. We won't leave him." and with that it seemed that the meadow before them shifted forwarded and blurred.

Shapes and objects shot by them as if they were traveling at the speed of light yet time seemed to stand still. Once things finally took a lasting shape around them, Sav had brought them before a rather large blacksmith house which was several stories high. There was a forge to the side of the house and a rather shirtless young man was working before the flame.

He didn't flinch at the appearance of the newcomers but seemed to know they were there none the less. He continued to pound away at the steel before him, reventually dipping the red hot metal into water to cool it. He turned to seee who had entered his domain without asking but instead of a hardworn or angry face there was a disarming smile. He approached his uninvited guests and quickly understood why they were able to get this far without much trouble...

"Savitier, you know better than this." he said musingly, "You could have at least brought me something to eat if you were going to impose." He stuck his tongue out but then noticed that one of his traveling companions had no life left to him. His smile faded after he noticed the worsening state of another who was bloodied and another who was uncontious. In fact, the only one who seemed in almost good health was Sav and the woman.

"What do you want, Sav?" he asked, "And please don't tell me you want to play a game of chess against me again. You always win." he pouted.

Sav flinched slightly at the boy's words. His voice was more decieving than anything. He didn't really show many emotions and often got the expressions mixed up. He stood up and spoke quickly.

"I'm here, Masoian." he said meeting his gaze, "To save my friend, I'm willing to break our little arrangment. You have to help me... plz." He had no idea what He was going to do but hoped that Masoian would help him.

Masoian laughed at that. Sav had actually thought to violate thier previous pact after what happened last time they exchanged favors. But it was rather fitting that he came at this time. He had some troubles of his own but it was quiant to have Sav back and he looked back at the girl that was before him. She held the real reason while he would help them. Her anguish was still so strong even as she tried not to look at that fallen warrior. He strolled over to her and looked down at her in her distraught state.

"Do you have any idea what Sav is doing for your friend?" he asked, "You okay with whatever the results of that might be?" he was cool and calm but his words had an almost cruel echo to them. He was sure that she wasn't sure what was going to happen but he wanted to hear that she recognized what Sav was doing was no small reproach on his part. It was life altering.

(((this is going to get interesting... here is another character for me... enjoy him and his inconsistancy...)))
Dray

Dray stared on as Dragon died. It wasn't possible. He was...too late? Despite himself, despite his efforts to coerce Sohl, it had been for naught. The boy was dead now, no amount of magic would ever be enough to alter that. The fact that Travesty was now dead meant he would have to hunt for his own body, rather than extract the information from her.

'This wasn't supposed to happen,'he thought, in his mind within Sohl's mind. "This is so wrong," he quietly told himself. "Dragon is supposed to still be alive, free to live a normal life with his loved one and his brother... He shouldn't have gotten hurt. None of this went according to plan." Such a simple statement, from such a reduced mind. Dray had known Dragon as perhaps annoying, but necessary. Over time, he had come to like the boy, even close to acknowledging him as a friend and comrade. He'd fought with and against Lance, and those experiences formed a bond.

Now, it was almost like losing a part of himself. He had hoped for Dragon's happy ending, despite no one else's belief in it. His hopes had been dashed. He knew not what he should do next.

((Setting up for a later payoff, don't mind me. :3 ))
Withen the bowls of fire, the smell of Brimstone and alchohol filled the air as a white haired man watched. He had a pleasant job. He got to go places, and meet people! Who'd complain?

Of particular interest to him at this time however, was the myriad assortement of people shown quite prominantly on the massive Teleprompter like screen in his office.

With feet up and crossed on his desk, he took a swig of Gin and grinned, his 'eye's' piercing through the Veil that Fae witch had made to isolate the children from the world.

He watched as hearts ached, body's broke, and life was lost. He watched as Things turned dark and foul. He watched and chuckled and laughed as he easily read their emotions and desires. He watched patiently for an oppurtunity. A call. The call to work. The Call to play, and plot, and sow his seeds of mindless chaos and whatever else might strike his fancy.

The stone wall behind him shimmered as a door of wrought iron made itself real, a barely dressed, and quite voluptuis woman strode in, thin tail swaying behind her like a cat's as she eyed the back of her master's chair.

He felt her there, and even as she walked around to face him, he was all Her. Clad identically, with that same catlike twitching tail swaying back and forth, the Demoness leered at her Master, her white haired double.

"Why, oh why, doyou find yourself so maddeningly possesed with these mortals in particular? Are there not more malleable, and more profitable choices among the living for you to play upon and bargain with?" The Demoness, ebony hair shimmering in the sourcless firelight, pouted at her double as she leaned against the desk of chisled black glass.

The White haired Demoness smiled wickedly with some unknown joy and deep secret apparent behind her twinkling eyes. " Ahh but these people, these children, truly have to potential to live up their names as Titans... I simply wish to play a hand in their rise to greatness... or drag them down to 'our' level if the chance arises..." Another wicked grin as the white haired demoness smiled.

A flash of her eyes, and the Black haired demoness turned to storm out the room, slamming the nonexistant iron door behind her as her employer turned to watched the massive Teleprompter like screen, edged in bleeding barbed wire.

" So many shattered hearts, so many ragged bodies. Even the great one is frayed over this outcome.... " He watched Dray's emotions flux over the topic of the Fallen Titan. He waited for the call to work....

(( And just some more forshadowing of my own... ninja ))
Jessica continued watching from the rooftop. 'I wonder if that.. strange person from before had anything to do with this..' she thought to herself. thinking about the person that looked like her that had saved her earlier. and wondering what that person wanted her to do
"Yes, you do! You've got this superhero thing down, don't you?~" Out of the small pocket came a tiny, clear jar with liquid inside. Garjen dipped her fingers in it. "Now this is going to get really fun!' she exclaimed, whipping out her hand and running circles around her opponent while she could, a long bubble forming around him.
Jei

Jei wanted Garjen's bubbly personality focused on her, but her air-pillar attack hadn't worked previously, not that she could focus enough with the high she was getting from all this power being thrown around. All her body wanted to do was curl up and sleep, but her desire to hunt down Dani kept her going.

She'd have to concentrate more to achieve this effect, since Garjen's effect took longer to muster, it would take a longer effort to counter it. A sudden burst of air plowing through her intended effect would disrupt her casting for only a second, after that, she'd be free to continue as if Jei had done nothing.

No, she needed to catch the air within Garjen's bubble and push too much air for the bubble to hold into the spell's area. Jei narrowed her eyes and focused. She brought air into Garjen's affected area, around the space occupied by Kenta. Slowly, she compacted the air and waited for Garjen to complete her spell.
