Dragon
Dragon growled out, "I believe that was his point, the stone not being thrown," before Travesty threw them all the most vicious and nasty curveball. The scaled boy could only watch in horror as the aged-looking fae witch -who apparently had recovered, but at a cost- sent gnarled, warped bolts of purple fae magic towards…oh no. “No, not again,” he whispered. He stepped backwards in disbelief and almost fell back, catching himself. She took such joy in taunting him with this drastic and costly maneuver.
She was resorting to desperate measures because she had nothing else, but the situation was no less dangerous because of it. If anything, Dragon was hesitant to make any move at all. He wasn‘t sure what those beams were doing, but if anything, they probably were stealing their life energy. Travesty wasn‘t one to act on one motive only, when she could accomplish multiple goals at once. Either way, he didn‘t like the way things were looking. He wished he hadn‘t been so mean to his brother just before. If this ended badly, he‘d regret that for however long he lived.
‘No, you can‘t think like that. You can win!’ Dragon told himself. “But how? Think!’ It was just then when Blake made his grand gesture of giving Dragon all of his remaining power. It wasn‘t like mixing up a powered drink, the power didn‘t meld with Dragon‘s. Whenever two different people combine their powers, the results might better be compared to mixing oil and water. Blake‘s powers were different and made for things Dragon didn‘t usually do. ‘Blake‘s always using those fireballs and he even loads his gun with powered up bullets!’ Dragon realized. ‘If I do this right, Dani and Kit don‘t have to pay for my mistake. Dragon, you better not mess this up,’ he echoed Blake‘s thoughts. Blake‘s Spirit Fire wasn‘t limited to creating literal, material fire. It could do much more ethereal things. Things like mirror Travesty‘s beams.
Dragon conjured his plan in a matter of seconds. When he decided to go with it, he faced Travesty once again and allowed himself a smirk. “If you thought that could keep me down…” he said softly, narrowing his eyes in prideful contempt. “Lady, you don‘t know me very well. My friends are more powerful than you give them credit for.” He elaborated as he stepped forward and sent both hands out towards Kit and Dani and twin beams of scarlet twined with azure met the spheres Travesty had wrapped around the two and began making headway taking over them. “See, Blake can do the same thing you can, and I‘m not even using a portion of his power.” Which was only kind of true, it was more than half, about three fourths, but he had used that much to establish the connection, he could cheat and use his own power from his heart shell to reinforce and press the advantage, but he wanted to see if Travesty had an ace up her sleeve for this development. ‘Go ahead, witch. Try something. I dare you,’ he thought to himself.
Dray
Dray rejoiced, he had gotten through to the boy! He was listening, at least, and wanted to hear the next part of his plan to save Dragon. “The boy, Dragon…his magic is like mine. Travesty made sure of that, but we can use that against her.” He knew Sohl would do anything he wanted, as long as Travesty was getting screwed in the process. He planned to use that fact shamelessly for his own purpose.
“If we can get a shred of my power to him, he‘ll have enough strength to slay that witch and keep his heart beating. But it won‘t cure his heart condition,” Dray continued, keeping a close watch on the boy‘s reaction. If Sohl started not liking what he was hearing, he’d ditch the plan and their fight would continue. “That’s where you come in. Travesty gave you mastery of the elements, but I’d be willing to bet that she didn’t tell you it was all the elements, including life itself. If that’s true, you can use that to pour healing life into Dragon’s heart to fill in the void caused by his disease. When that happens, his heart condition will be cured and he’ll be able to live on for a long time.”
Dray paused for dramatic effect, sure that he had the boy hooked by now. “Dragon’s a good person, and if he owes you a favor, you can be sure he’ll pay you back in full. And that’s after Travesty is gone. Imagine what could be gained from him at full power, and the terms are limitless. You could have wealth beyond even your own dreams, hot and cold running girls, and more power than God. What do you say, up for it?”
Jei
Jei hovered above the scene where the other Titans were, having been flustered at being ignored, and discovered the cause of their distraction. The boy with the sword, she‘d read about him before she‘d actually met the Titans, was defending against the attacking villian, a girl in a purple kimono, just like the green one Jei was wearing. She didn‘t like being ignored. She descended and instantaneously plowed into both Garjen and Gordon with a pillar of air. Gordon flew far, and when he hit his head and fell, he didn't get up. Jei took a small amount of satisfaction in that. She turned to Kenta, and waited for him to decide to attack or not.
Bionic Boy
Wade nodded to the girl and followed her. As he caught up to her, he realized that he didn't even know her name at this point. "So, you know my story now, what's yours? How did those guys get ahold of you?" he asked her.
