Lance realized he had ignored her question completely. He searched his memory and found her inquisition.
"Oh, well, I started Titans South because I wanted to make a difference. Not like my parents. They had all the money in the world and they just used it to make themselves and other rich people richer. Anyway, when Dani and I got emancipated from them, we automatically inherited half their fortune. Thus, my abilty to rent this place. Anyway, my twin brother and I got our powers when they were bestowed upon us. By whom, I won't say. That's our secret. Anyway, this being granted our hearts' strongest desire in changing ourselves. And after we became legal adults, I came here and Dani vanished off the face of the earth, or so I thought... But, he's here now. And we have a lot of catching up to do."
He paused to consider her more recent comment.
"And, yeah, I guess of all people, I should realize looks aren't what really matters..."

Kit thought for a moment. "Wow. That's incredible." It really was. To want to make a difference that badly and to use their powers on a team. "It's nice that you two can be back together." Then she thought about how his gifts were 'bestowed upon him'. Kit had been born with her powers. Did that truely make her a freak?

Lance thought about that as he took a bite out of the sandwich. He chewed, swallowed and popped three chips in his mouth at the same time and took a swig of the diet soda to wash it down. He spoke as soon as his mouth was cleared.
"Well, I'll admit. It is nice to see him again. I missed him more than I realized. But, I suppose I never really figured him dead. Our joint account for our parent's money kept being drawn from regularly, so I knew he was still alive. Somewhere. I just pushed him from my thoughts, because I didn't want to think about him. Anyway, I'm just glad I'm living my dream."
As Kit left the room, Lance munched on his meal more and thought. His favorite thing in the world to do was to be able to think when it was quiet around him. So he did.

From the table in the kitchen, Lance raised his voice slightly to project it, and said,
"Well, that's all I've got! If you want to go buy some for your own collection, you can use my money!"
By that time, he had finished his food and threw the paper plate away, and placed the empty can in a sack for recycling and made his way to the couch and picked up the remote.

Millions od Cds poored from her room."I brougth mine", she smiled as they set themselves on the shelves.

Lance grinned.
"Hm. Well, you certainly are resourceful. So, you have telekinetic powers. Well, I suppose that means you'll get along with my brother just fine." He waited untill all of her CDs to slide onto the shelf before he spoke again.
"Well, we seem to be the only ones in the apartment this evening. So," he said, grinning boldly at her. "Wanna watch a movie with me?"

Kenta ws walking down the street when he saw an extremely bright light shine out of an alley. " what the- ? " he ran up to the alley just to finds a man standing over some teens. " what in the world! Who are you!?" kenta yelled and made his sonic sword appear. " hya hya! I am your worst nightmare little teenager! I kidnap teens and then put them under my control by using this!" he held up a small device that looked like a remote. Kenta looked at the teens and raised his sword, " I wont let you get away! SONIC SHOCKBLADE!!" He yelled and swung his sword, releasing a series of sonic waves. The man dodged them and they crashed into a building, causing a small sonic boom.

As Scythe sat down beside him, his watch beeped and flashed intermittently.
"Oh, boy. I gotta go! I'll see you guys later! Rain check, Scythe!"
With that, he ran across the apartment, to an open window and jumped out of it, flying into the night.

Kit's ears picked up a crashing sound and a boom. She set her tea down on the table, changing after into a hawk and spreading her wings. She flew through the living room and right out the open window into the night sky.

She made her way to where she heard the crash, seeing a man and Kenta. She folded her wings to her body, diving down and held her talons out. When she got close enough, she extended her talons, ripping the man's left shoulder and part of his jacket. She landed besides Kenta in her human form. "So, who is this guy?"

[Mitsubakan]

" no idea! but he is apparently kidnapping teens! Heads up!!" Kenta told kit as he dodged a beam that had just come out of the remote thingy," if that thing touches you, you fall under his contrl! SONI SHOCKBLADE!!" he yelled and sent another wave of sonic booms at the man, this time hitting him. When they struck, they didn't make a crash.

Kit nodded. This guy didn't seem so tough. She changed into a ram, horns appearing on her head and curling behind her ears. Her fingers became hooves and fur covered her body. She charged at the man, head down, ready to ram him with all her might.
