Everything was laid out like it was meant to be. The pawn was centered from the first move, thus concluding the other one's turn with her own in the same position as his. He smirked at this tactic. She could never best him, but this time she was going all for nothing. She thought by the end of the game she'd have him beat, but he would prove her wrong.. yet again. His hand moved forward to place a knight in a new spot, catching a faint twinkle in her eyes as he looked up at her. Her thick blonde hair waved about as she leaned forward, repositioning another pawn elsewhere.

He studied his moves before shifted a pawn, her following suite. His eyebrow raised at this. Before long he had most of her pawns got with the exception of three well into his territory, but his queen was about to win him he game. Repositioning his last knight, she thought she had him beat. She chuckled as she moved forward her bishop, knocking away her knight. A few seconds later she was squealing in anger as his queen captured her king; checkmate.

A grin creased his face as she stood, glaring daggers in his directions. She began to grumble a very particular string of curses that weren't in the least bit flattering for someone like her to utter, but he paid no heed. She did that every time he won.
"Maybe next time, Marissa." She waved her hand dismissively at his comment as she left his house. She only came over to play chess and shoot the breeze.

The man laid back against his couch, a glass now resting in his up-raised hand, palm resting against the thin layer of glass separating flesh from liquid. He moved his palm, swirling the liquid before tipping it against his lip to drain it away down his throat. Making a satisfied noise as the liquid hit the spot in his stomach, his grin softened into a simple smile.
"A victorious match, along with a fine drink.. makes the night so much more pleasant." His smile grew. His thoughts shifted to the Titan's

"Locus.." Her name flicked off his tongue as he rose, setting the empty glass onto his coffee table. He swiftly made his way towards his front door, but locked it. He was going to stay in for a little while longer before roaming as he typically would at this hour. He wanted to find Locus, but.. he couldn't. The last time he had gotten close to her.. 'he' had pushed him away, forcing him to retreat from his sister. A sudden thought flickered into his mind; was she there, in town? He hoped against this.. He didn't want to see her yet.

His mind then roamed back to Slade.. Always to his old teacher. He hoped that he was alright and well, but he wasn't sure. He hadn't seen or heard from the man in quite awhile. Probably busy crafting more dangerous plans. This man just hoped that Slade didn't meddle with the likes of people like Trigon again. That was such a messy ordeal.

He settled into the leather of his couch, an arm lying lazily along the back of the black material, a leg resting along the edge beside him, full extended. Releasing a sigh, he laughed for a bit.
"Ahh.. 'Always so steady.. with fingers so gentle. You stand before the window, mocking the wind that tickles the glass under your fingertips. You turn, flashing that generous smile of yours.. but when you speak.. your lips move, no sound coming out. Your body shifts with laughter, but there is nothing heard.' Hn.." His mind spouted that, a distant memory from his past.

Simple sounds of birds flying by her window woke Saya up. She flinched at the sunlight as it pierced her corneas. Rolling out of the way of the light, she blinked a few times before coming to her senses. Slowly, and groggily, she sat up in her white bed, moving and struggling to get out of the mountains of comforters. Her ears twitched as she heard more birds. In her black pajama shorts and tank top, she forced herself out of bed and twirled the end of her black poofy tail.

Standing outside of her closet, she pondered through the many clothes. Maybe she would train this morning, and be ready if they were to get a call to go save someone. She nodded to herself and grabbed one of her suits hanging up, she would leave the helmet off for now, she was only going training. She put on her shorts and connected boots, and secured the belt after slipping on the top. She was glad that these clothes were fire retardant, because she dealt with fire more than once a day. It didnt bother her, but she had to be careful around certain clothes so she doesn't end up burning all of her clothes off in front of people, Oh man that would be embarrassing!!

Saya finished changing and walked over to her Vanity, brushing through her hair and smoothing over her large black cat ears. Yes, she was an alien that looked similar to the Human's domestic "cat". But that didn't matter, she was accepted here!
She didn't have to put on any makeup, and she preferred not to most of the time. Saya yawned as she stepped from her room, making her way into the Kitchen area where the large couch and television was, also the large windows looking out over Jump City. The city was indeed beautiful, but it was nothing like the view. Down below there is more trouble than one could simply imagine. And that is where her and her team stepped in. They cleaned the city of the filth that was in it everyday. It was their duty and their honor to protect the innocents of Jump city.

She sighed softly and turned into the kitchen, Putting bread into the toaster and grabbing cream cheese from the fridge, she poured herself a cup of milk and sipped from it slowly, smirking widely and setting the cup down. Stereotypically, she loved milk and cream. It was all delicious! Grabbing the toast once it popped out of the toaster, she cream cheesed it and put it on a plate, After cleaning up her mess, and some of the mess that the others made last night, she walked into the living room and sat on the large couch, switching on the tv and swaying her tail happily back and forth behind her. Her ears perked up high to listen as she flipped through the channels. Once she found an interesting human show, she bit at her toast.

"I wonder if everyone's still sleeping?" She said to herself, turning her head towards the entrance of the room. Maybe she would go see if Locus wanted to train with her in a little while.
"After breakfast!" She assured herself, turning her attention back to the television, she watched and ate breakfast.

(( out of crabapples!! : Uhmm, crappy first post is crappy ;-; ))

Leopold stretched his limbs as the first signs of morning were audible. Traffic congestion, birds chirping, and the not-so-audible steady rise of temperature. A sigh escaped Leopold's mouth as he stood up, and monstrous growl escaping his stomach. A small grunt of disappointment was heard as Leopold scavenged the corner where he had kept his things. He didn't have much in his name; a large trench coat, his accordion, and a few dollars. Not like money was any good to him, seeing as how he couldn't see prices, much less go into any store and buy something. He was a giant lizard thing! Leopold licked his lips as thoughts of food flooded his mind.

A few moments later, he grabbed his accordion and slung it around his neck, then climbed up broken beams to the roof of the arena. Leopold inhaled deeply, enjoying the fresh air located so far up from all the cars and other nasty things. He clicked his tongue, getting a good 'view' of the area, including the illustrious Titan's Tower. From what he had heard, it had all the newest gadgets and electronics, the softest of carpets, the biggest of televisions, and a kitchen that would embarrass the most wealthy millionaires. Leopold uttered a simple 'Hmph' and readied his accordion. He cleared his throat and began to sing a song he learned a couple years back, Smuglianka, as he 'watched' the cars go by and people walk about.

Where: The old Sports Arena. Football, or something.
With: As usual, no one.

                                「 Shadow Walker 」

"Relics can be cast aside, but they are still real. They still linger, no matter where they are."
                                ▬▬▬▬▬▬ x x x ▬▬▬▬▬▬

Shadows cast their deep stretches thin.. the sun blanketed the city with its warmth, causing the shadows to quiver in hidden places and areas where the suns rays did not extend to. It was once said, by a wise man, that 'the sun can only touch what it sees and what it cannot see is where the moon lies.' The same is true, for the opposite situation. The moon can only touch what the sun doesn't. So it was now, that the sun swept the moon under the rug... but.. the present clouds allowed the shadows reach to waver in sections along where the sun should have shown.

The city itself was quiet. A slow day. It wouldn't last long, though. A lone figure stood atop of a brick building, black angel-like wings fluttering atop the head of the individual. Brilliant ocean blue orbs flickered around the section of the streets below that could be seen from its point, scanning for potential threats, though none appeared. Just the typical.. average citizens of Jump City. With a turn of the head, the blue orbs locked towards the west, where a breeze was coming from. This steady wind was ruffling the figure's dressy sleeveless shirt, trickling across the exposed shoulders. Arm warmers, fluff-ringed light blue, concealed from the elbow to the fingertips on each arm, which were slender. These warmers were power enhancers for the wearer and also a fashionable material. They did extend past the fingers, though, reaching down towards her knees with mini-cape-like-things, though they did not stop her from grabbing things. Sliding them back was easy and it allowed from the fingers to the wrist to be seen on both arms.

The belt that hung around the waist was connected to the above-the-knees black skirt with white and black feathers along the edges, a black cloth hanging over the left hip. Black stockings, long and thin, covered most of the legs, stretching up to cover well above the knees. The only skin visible of the legs was above the stockings and below the skirt, a thin patch though. The choice of boots were black, designed specifically for someone with this individuals slender frame. They were a perfect fit, strapped securely so that they would not hinder running, walking or any sort of the movement the wearer performed.

Short and straight black hair, with the bangs partially hanging around the eyes to frame the small face, had two long trails of it, which started at the base of the head-wings and extended well done to below the elbows in length. A thin and straight nose was above the thin-lined mouth, the lips of the individual being pink, but concealed with black lipstick. The sapphire orbs were stunning, yet simple, with rich rings of wavering blue hues along the orbs.

The gender of the figure was easy to depict due to the curved and fragile-looking frame, the lean build of the body, and the breasts that were hidden beneath the black tops. Female, clearly. The head tilted as cool eyes narrowed more as the breeze picked up, tossing her hair this way and that, her sleeves fluttering around her knees like a cape, though no where near connected to her shoulder in the sense of an actual cape. "Mmm.. peaceful.. tranquility.. Almost serene. Hard to think of villains stalking these streets like rodents.. Heh.. We do our job so very well." She muttered, her musical voice carrying over the wind to disappear into the sun's rays.

She turned, her wings slowly shrinking into the depths of her short black hair. As they vanished two shapes began to poke out from the two custom-made holes in the back of her top. Large bat wings soon folded against her back as the wings on her head were gone. She crouched, smiling softly as she jumped from the building, letting her wings take over from there. They flapped multiple times, carrying her well over the city's roof tops, heading towards her home; Titan's Tower. It took but a few minutes and the steady beating of her wings to arrive at the tower. She landed atop the T frame, entering the building with the grace of one who knew every nook and cranny of the structure. She had studied it a bit before joining them.

She soon arrived in the main room, the big screen tv up against the farthest wall directly across from the door. She stepped over to the couch, standing beside it. She trailed a finger along the material of the couch, but stepped away from it, glancing around the room. She hadn't even noticed the smell coming from the kitchen area of the room. She noticed a figure cooking. She tilted her head, smiling gently. The smell of bread was thick in the air. Keeping herself as silent as could be, she ducked down behind the counter as the woman stepped over to the couch, sitting down to watch TV. Some odd TV show flashed across the screen as she stood once more, stepping over to the couch to stand behind it, arms folded behind her back at the wrists.

She jumped over the leather, taking a seat a bit down from the woman after she heard her spoke. She hummed almost gently, tilting her head towards her. "Sssaayyyyaaaaaa." She grinned, saying the name of her team mate, who was eating her breakfast. "Food sounds good.. I'll make a bit in a minute." She mumbled to herself as she turned to watch the television. She hoped that she hadn't started her friend.

Leopold grew bored quickly of the loneliness that surrounded him. It was so lonely in fact, that he felt tempted to leave. With though, Leopold had many reasons to leave. He was hungry, but not enough to kill someone. But still hungry. Also, he needed money. More for buying food, because he had no other logical uses for it. And perhaps society would be somewhat accepting of him. Hopefully.

With the decision to go in public secured, Leopold scampered down the metal beams and concrete slabs. He clambered down similar to a monkey, using only his arms. He dropped down and finally landed on the bottom floor, which was the main corridor. Leopold carefully placed his accordion in a box, and grabbed his trench coat. He struggled putting it on due to his large hands and shoulders, but it fit perfectly everywhere else. Leopold sighed and ventured out of the Old Stadium for the first time during the day. It was...sadly similar. A depressed sigh escaped Leopold's mouth, and he continued onward on his adventure.

Leopold followed no one, but instead just walked among the streets. The reactions of people were incredibly surprising to Leopold, who had expected them all to flee in terror. Instead, they took out their cell phones and began taking pictures or recording a video. Most of them were smiling, and as if it were a disease, Leopold found himself uncontrollably smiling as well. After wandering for about twenty minutes, Leopold found himself at one of Jump City's many ports, and watched with amusement as people cast fishing lines or did various activities involving their boat.

These things interested Leopold. He watched a fisherman for a while, casting in once and catching what seemed like a decent sized fish after a brief minute or two. Leopold then waddled down the docks, looking left to right at all of the boats present. But eventually, Leopold grew bored of this too, and instead got someone to give him directions to the nearest park, where Leopold then proceeded to go to and lay down in a random patch of grass.

User ImageA chilling breeze whisked through the air onto Nahuel's damn exposed skin. A subtle shiver escalated through his body as the diminutive teen stirred into conscious reality. Senses tingled in alarm forcing Nahuel into an upright and painful realization of his surroundings.

There he was sitting atop a furry rock of mindlessness in front of the city high school as incoming students started to gather around the strange spectacle of a teen superhero riding a panda. Awkward silence began to creep into Nahuel's conscious as he grabbed the reins and pulled his panda away from the crowds. Preferring not to engage in random estranged conversation with other teen his age he instead sulked off as fast as his panda would go, which unfortunately for him wasn't exactly swift.

"You had to go for a midnight walk...didn't you..." Nahuel finally opened his mouth, directing his words down to the black and white boulder. Nahuel's memory of the night before was...vague at best, but it hadn't taken him much to piece together most of what had happened. "You're not listening are you old man?" He'd probably fallen asleep, which was rare in of itself, but likely lead to some other spirit slipping into his body and taking merry joy in exploring the town. That's why he hated sleeping, never knew what his body was being forced to do when he was out of conscious.

"Useless...why do I even try t_Wait..." That was when it dawned on him. Without another word he reached for his back pouch, pulling out his communicator "Shadow Walker, you up? I may need a ride back to the tower...more than just wings, I've got Goya with me." Him managing to 'sleep-walk' out of the tower was easy enough to explain, but his panda as well? He really hoped his team mates wouldn't pry into that can of worms. Luckily he wasn't too far away from the docks, so it wouldn't take his team mates too long to retrieve him, assuming they were awake.

Thump thump. Thump thump. Thump thump. Thump thump.

A gentle lullaby to which he slept, the slow pitter patter of his heart beat, forcing its way into his dreams, staining them that beautiful red. The figures that danced and twisted in his dreams smiled at them as they stretched and tangled and ripped their own limbs apart. But still, they smiled, laughing and continuing to dance. Red sprayed across the floor, rolling in tiny droplets, creating the most beautiful designs he’d ever seen, like he was dancing with them on stained glass. One of them twirled over to him, dancing daintily on tip toe, as she offered her remaining arm to him, a smile on her otherwise featureless face. More red pooled down from her stump of the other arm, and a large gash ripped through her chest, but it didn’t seem to bother her. He took her hand, and she taught him how to twirl and dance like they were doing, and his wings, normally useless lumps that dragged behind him, didn’t even weigh him down. He was smiling now, dancing with them, just as lightly as they were. His form stretched, but unlike them, he didn’t rip apart, his flesh wasn’t strained in the slightest. But there were not enough, not to satisfy him. He reached down, jabbing at one of them that now became so tiny compared to his form, reducing her to a splat of red. And using that red, he drew more, and they rose up, and danced again, yes. This was better. He could hear it now, the grand music, the tune of this macabre dance, ringing through his ears. A vocal catastrophe of screams and wails and laughter. And god, it was beautiful. So much of it, more, and more. The more he made, the lighter he became, until they were mere specks before his eyes, and he could no longer look upon them individually. No. They were no longer of such concern, weak little things. He needed new dancers, more red. He laid his hooked fingers on the ground, and tore it up, bringing up great streams of red, painting the landscape.

                                                Until everything was red.

The sunlight was what woke Dead from that lovely dream, causing him to ruffle up the feathers of his wings, several of them falling loose, and drifting to the ground far, far below. He twisted and squirmed, smiling like a content cat, until he simply… slipped head first off the branch he’d been perched on. Though, he didn’t fall for long, oh no. his hooked feet caught in the branch, and instead, he merely hung upside down, smiling vacantly. It was still early. Mom and Dad were probably still at work, and Alyssa had likely already arrived at school a few hours ago. Sigh. He let his arms dangle below his head, and for a few minutes, he swung gently back and forth, contemplating what he should do. It was so bright and sunny out, he wished he could go up to the roof… and who’s to say he wasn’t? He just wouldn’t leave the roof! And not tell Dad, afterall, what the old man didn’t know, wouldn’t hurt him. He smiled to himself, his wings twitching in anticipation from where they were bound against his back in a sort of harness. Otherwise they just drug around on the ground, got cut up, got infected, and proved a huge issue to him, useless things they were, really.

He twisted his body, smiling brightly to himself as he grabbed hold of the tree, and began to climb and swing and jump, making his way up to the roof, avoiding the ladder that ran up the wall, until he got there. He smiled, throwing the hatch up, as he peeked his head through, giving a delighted little coo of satisfaction, before hopping up onto the thick, bulletproof glass that made up the roof of the aviary. He instantly flattened himself, stomach down, against the glass, stretching long, lanky legs and arms out to his sides, as he just soaked up the sun there, smiling contently.

And he might very well have been there all day, just like every other day of his life… had he not spotted that woman walking by on the streets far below with those keen eyes of his. She was no one he knew, she didn’t look at all different than any other human. There was nothing about her that attracted his eye… save for what she was wearing. A beautiful red jacket over a stark black business outfit. And for a moment, his mind twisted into a strange fantasy. She had the same figure as one of the dancers in his dream! Was she a dancer?

                                                ---------------------

The next thing Dead was aware of, was that through a rash of bad actions, he now had a terrified look on his face, this woman had a terrified look on her face, his claws were dug tightly into the hem of her jacket, which really he was only going to touch but then she turned around and screamed. And of course, out of panic, he clamped down on it, not knowing what else to do.

                                                [Location: out on the streets.
Actions: clinging to a woman’s jacket while she’s screaming.
                                                Thoughts: What did I do.

Lilith's eye shot wide open, she quickly grabbed the handgun she kept under her pillow. She shifted her eyes left to right until she was sure she realized she was alone in her room. Just, just a dream right She wiped the sweat off her forehead and sat up on the edge of her bed. Right, I went to bed last night She was glad to see she woke up by herself.

It woke up a few seconds after Lilith. Your never alone The move from the luxury lifestyle mansion to a giant T-shaped building was something it would have to get used to. I don't like it here The new room wasn't as nice as the old room but for now it would do.

Lilith hid the handgun under her pillow, she then stood up and stretched. I better get something to eat before I go and meet the others She walked over to her room's fridge, entered a password into the keypad next to the handle. I wonder if I still have some beholder flesh She opened the fridge after she entered her code and grabbed a piece of fried beholder's flesh and shut the door.

Lilith then left the comfort of her room, she turned around and placed her hand on the door. Better not forget the wards She activated the several wards on her door to prevent others from entering as well as prevent things from escaping.

Kiera stood at the top of the roller coaster's tracks, it took a while but she finally finished icing up all of the track rails. [blue]Alright time to have some fun She then jumped onto the iced up railing and grind down the track. Most didn't approve of her idea of fun. For now this place is mine and mine alone

It had been a while since Kiera had took a break from reeking havoc or steal stuff to just having some good old fun. Well fun that didn't involve burning stuff. Once she reached the end of the tracks she jumped off onto a hotdog cart and rode it through the park until it came to a complete halt. A grin ran across her face and her eyes shifted left to right. I wonder if there's anything worth burning

Kiera jumped off the cart and ran towards one of the prize buildings and just like that the siren was going back to burning stuff. I better find something good before anyone comes here and ruins my fun She threw a burst of ice at the prize building door and then shattered into thousands pieces with one strong kick.

Leopold had practically fallen asleep due to the serenity of the park he was in. Occasionally there was a car horn or a dog barking, but those were all pretty ignorable. The thing that prevented Leopold from falling asleep was a woman screaming. "Vhat vas dat? Vell, I suppose I shall go and investigate." Leopold declared to himself. He struggled with getting back up, but quickly jumped toward the location where the scream was produced.

Years of using sound as sight allowed for fabulous navigation of the sound-bombarded streets. The fact of near-constant sounds painted what was essentially a black-and-white movie for Leopold, which he admitted was one of the best things he had ever experienced. When Leopold finally reached his goal location, he twisted his head sideways in curiosity. A strange bird-man was clinging onto the jacket of a woman, who seemed terrified. But at the same time, the frail humanoid also seemed terrified, paralyzed with fear.

Leopold could only stand the screaming for a good minute before it had become one of the most obnoxious things he had ever heard. He awkwardly walked across the street, his hoofed feet clicking with each step. "HEY!" Leopold yelled at the woman and scrawny bird man. "Vhy don't you just take off te coat, lady? I'm tired of hearing you scream!" Leopold practically roared with anger. Without even allowing time to reply, Leopold used his tail to grab the woman by the head. Her muffled screams could still be fainly heard as she was lifted into the air high enough for Leopold to stare nearly face to face with the bird thing on her jacket. "And you...you...I don't know. You kind ov remint (remind with a 't') me ov myself...but do you tink you could let go ov dis lady's jacket?" Leopold asked, trying to sound completely calm.

He honestly had no idea what to do. His family had never made such a dreadful noise before. Well, Alyssa had made one similar once, when he'd been playing hide and seek with her, and he jumped out and surprised her, and she squealed, but it wasn't like this. This noise didn't have the playful undercurrent he expected. This noise was something else that he did not have experience of, a... tone... that seemed almost... taste? That didn't make sense. And Dead moved the thought from his mind instantly, his hand just keeping a tighter and tighter hold on the woman's coat as he just... stood there, shock still and every part of his body held rigid. And she just kept screaming and he just kept holding on and at some point for any normal person this might get boring real fast.

However, at the sound of a new voice, the feathers that took the place of his outer ear, scattered over his lower arms, and came up from his talon'd, feathered feet, all ruffled out and his eyes went even wider. That white X across his eye that served as his pupil narrowed it's lines, until they were just itty bitty streaks in a sea of red and black. But he did nothing else, just stood there, staring at the one who'd spoken for a long time, before the words finally... He did as he was told, and just let go, morning the loss of the pretty red color. He swallowed oddly, his muscles slowly loosening as the other had his hand clamped down over the woman's mouth. That was a woman right? Oh, he was really dreadful at telling them apart. He'd only ever really seen and interacted with three people, afterall. Didn't girls have the long hair? Is that what made them different? Alyssa and Mother had long hair, and then Dad didn't. That was the difference... right? But this woman had short hair. And now he was just confused. He decided to stop thinking about it, and instead turned his attention to the other, the feathers around his ears and in his hair laying flat again.

"I... did not mean to... cause her alarm. Just wanted to touch her jacket."

Saya sat criss cross on the couch, finishing up her breakfast as her teammate Locus called out her name, slumping over the couch. One black eyebrow raised as she looked at the girl, she was so funny though that Saya couldn't even say anything, just shake her head softly with a small giggle and look back towards the Tv.

Suddenly the Tv blared red and screamed alert. Saya immediately put her things down and flipped off of the couch and near the door. RUnning through it, she made her way quickly to her room and grabbed her Helmet, putting it on and smoothing her hair behind her. She walked back into the living room fully suited and smirked as she figured out what was happening, nodding to Locus softly.
                                          "I'll see you down there."
She walked over to the window and opened it. Jumping down to the ground and running quickly through the city. Jumping onto a roof and then onto another as she made her way deeper into Jump city.

She stopped when she heard the desperate cries of a lady. She narrowed her eyes and swayed her tail softly. Jumping down into the Madness, she grabbed the Woman from the Monster's claws and put her a safe distance away, Holding her hands out, two blue crystal daggers formed and she spun them on her palms, gripping their handles tightly as she held them up defensively. There was also a bird boy, which didn't surprise her, because she was a 'cat' in human terms.
"What do you two monster's think you're doing? That was an innocent lady!!"

Leopold was almost saddened by the reply given to him from the bird boy. It was so simple. So...tragic sounding. Like he had just lost his family to a bunch of cartel members. But Leopold did not express the sadness. He had no way to. So Leopold simply sighed.

Before Leopold could actually manage to say a sentence, a girl came out of no where, who made it obvious she was a Titan. And also, made it seem like Leopold and bird person were the bad guys. Leopold already had a strong hatred of the Titan.

"Excuse me for investigating screams. I came her, found tis bird person, and de lady vould not shut up. So I muffled her, vhich in turn allowed me to talk to de bird person. Ten you came along and automatically put de blame on me, making me seem like a 'bad guy.' You Titans alvays assume tat because ve look like monsters, ve're bad guys. Shame on you." Leopold ranted at Saya. Most of what he said was completely made up on the spot, but he thought it sounded pretty solid.

Oh no. Now there was another here and this was simply too much for the young thing. His feathers fluffed up again, and a rather startled, confused expression as his gaze ran between the male who'd been nice enough to help him, and the woman who seemed to come out of nowhere and point strange shiny things at them that looked like his feet talons only straight. He did not slink back though, he didn't understand that well what she was doing. Oh dear. He really had no idea what was going on. But why did she call them monsters? Alyssa told him that monsters were big scary things and he was not a big scary thing and neither was the other so...? This was hard.

"Uh... no! This was... my blame. Yes. I made a ...mistake...? Did not realize she didn't want to be... touched," He tried, frowning and squeezing his eyes narrow a bit as he tried to think of the correct terms. Kinda hard when your only interaction was with that of a twelve year old with autism. "Just wanted to... see the red? Uhm. Mistake," How did he explain this to the (figuratively) trigger happy female? "Not a monster anyway," His tone grew a bit stronger, his feathers ruffling once more. "I did not mean harm."

User ImageNahuel wasn't given a chance to even wait for a response from Shadow before his communicator flashed a blaring crimson alert signal. "Really?! It's not even noon!" He spat out in detest, noting the location on the comm device of the stress alert. He slid off the panda, pulling the reins and latching them onto a nearby parking meter, he turned with one last look at the dumbfounded expression on the panda's face, "Look old man, you best be back here when I get back, else I'm skinnin' ya." The panda's expression remained unchanged, like a cow looks at an oncoming train. "Than means stay!" He made one last spat before sprinting off down the street towards the disturbance.

If the people of the city weren't so used to their Teen super-powered protectors Nahuel would have looked a tad strange as a short little imp creature with a tribal mask on and bare feet running down the middle of a busy city street, but luckily that was not entirely the case. Okay so it wasn't something citizens saw every day of the week, but it certainly wasn't new to them either.

Nahuel was surprisingly fast for his size. The impish blur zipped through several block before reaching the location of the disturbance. He had managed to make it just in time to catch view of his fellow team mate, Saya, rescuing and releasing a woman from the grasps of some unsightly looking creature. Nahuel's eyes narrowed on the scene when he noticed the second creature, an avian creature of sorts. He hoped the rest of his team would be arriving soon, even as a two on two, Nahuel preferred to end fights as quickly as possible.

"Muffling someone by dangling them in the air by their head sounds a 'bad-guy' to me!" Nahuel called out as he approached the scene from the rear side, flanking the two monsters opposite of Saya. The bird monster actually sounded more like what he expected out of a monster, somewhat 'dumb', as prejudice as it sounded. "Less you got a better explanation we're gonna have to take the two of you in."
