Yuan Ka-Fai - - - - Kailas Arythan - - - - Tear Grants

The house Zelos led Yuan and the strange girl to was utterly unremarkable in the half-elf's opinion, but he supposed that was for the best. He had already noted that he and the others seemed to stand out quite a bit, something that obviously upset the girl named Emily. Having spent plenty of time working undercover, Yuan could understand perfectly how she felt, although he was sure the group he was with was quite capable of taking care of themselves should trouble arise, with the possible exception of the girl with the unaccounted for Cruxis crystal. However, even she had the bearing of a skilled fighter, and although she claimed her crystal was fake, Yuan could tell she was lying. That crystal would only enhance whatever skills she already had, so he was sure she could handle herself in a fight.

As Zelos greeted the two inside the house, Yuan's gaze flicked around the simple room. Somehow seeing Sheena here wasn't much of a surprise after running into Zelos. Those two never seemed to be too far from one another lately whenever he had checked up on them. He frowned as Zelos made a smart aleck remark about him to the blue-haired stranger, but didn't comment. A light touch on his arm made him turn and he nodded as Larsa excused herself. However, he kept an eye on her retreating back. Something about her wasn't right, and he didn't particularly trust leaving his back to her. He kept watching even after she disappeared around the corner, listening for some clue as to why she needed to wander away like that. His curiosity was rewarded by the tell-tale fluctuation of mana that could only come from a Cruxis Crystal, and he left the door ajar as he moved to look around the corner of the house.

Although Larsa had moved into the trees a little way, she was still fairly easy to pick out for his Cruxis enhanced vision, especially with her wings glowing softly against the shadows of the trees. His suspicion that her crystal was real was definitely confirmed now. He debated the merits of confronting her now or waiting to inform the others. The girl was pacing, or hovering rather, and she did not sound particularly thrilled by something. The way she had attached herself to Zelos made Yuan think he ought to warn the former chosen about her deception. Since she did not seem to notice that she was being watched, he turned and went back into the house, to the surprise of the other three who did not appear to realize he had left. Shutting the door to prevent her from sneaking up on them, he turned to the redhead by the bed.

"Zelos, how exactly do you know that girl?" he asked. "The one with the Cruxis Crystal." He hadn't actually caught her name. "I don't know if you realized if or not, but that is a real crystal. I don't know why she is lying about it, or why she is currently muttering to herself in the forest out there..." He indicated the window toward the woods where the girl had gone. "However, if I advise you to be on your guard around her." Glancing around, he realized Kratos wasn't with them. "Where did Kratos go? Did he decide to stay in town?"

    - - - - -

Although Yuri had asked him a question, the swordsman hadn't really waited for an answer, seeming rather more interested in the young woman who had decided to join them in their search. Kailas was not amused. However, he did suppose trying to think like his twin might be helpful. He frowned, trying to think what he would do if he was lost the way she was. He realized he was already doing that though, in searching for her. That wasn't any good, he needed to think more like Emrys. What would she do in this case?

She might ask someone for help, which he had sort of done in agreeing to accompany Yuri. She also might look for someone with authority. Maybe he should look for the village elder, if this place even had such a thing. It was such a strange and dreary town. Somehow he wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even have an elder to guide them. He tried to remember what other sorts of authority figures there were, thinking back to lessons on diplomacy in case the twins even had to visit other towns. Maybe some sort of council ran this village. He wondered if there was a shrine here, like the ones he and his sister were in training to take over as guardians of. If there was, at least that would be someone he could relate to.

Trailing along behind Yuri and Tear, the half-elf boy tried to think of places his sister liked to visit. There was the library of course, but these people didn't even have gardens aside from the occasional patch of dull vegetables. If they couldn't appreciate living artwork, why should they appreciate written artwork? The beach was also not an option, as this place appeared to be in the middle of a forest. He was frustrated, since this town was so different from his own that he didn't even know how to start comparing his and Emrys' favorite places to spots here. He was also really worried about his twin, and he wished he knew where she was. She had always been the better one at thinking things through. At least he could take some solace in the fact that if she was here somewhere, she probably had a plan to find him. He supposed the best thing he could do for now is keep asking around in case someone had seen her. At least that way people would remember him later if she was asking for him.

Giving Yuri a small smile as he joined her, Tear said "I always thought it was a nice place." She was referring to Yulia City, even though she hardly spent any time there any more. In fact, there was no particular place she considered 'home' right now with all the traveling she had been doing lately. Still, she had grown up in Yulia City, so it was the closest thing to home that she had. She described her childhood home to Yuri, keeping one eye on the child who was trailing them with a look of concentration on his face. She was reminded of Luke suddenly. He always made a face like that when he was thinking too.

After a while, Tear asked "What about you? I'm sure you've heard more than enough of me talking by now. Where are you from?"

((Sorry for dropping off the face of the planet for a while^^;
Where DID Kratos go? His player seems to have forgotten this RP
@Rydia -Now that he has his memory of his name back, you hopefully won't have that problem anymore xD It was always the reverse for me, I would write 'Yuri' instead of 'Judas'
))

Raine Sage

Lightly the book was tapped against her hip, her thinned pale fingers holding the spine of nicely decorated object, nails kept from digging into the old front cover that used to be a brown now nothing but faded. She curled her lips to allow her teeth to pick at her bottom lip, keeping to herself a scream of frustration that she could feel on the tip of her tongue, ready to explode at any given time.

With a free hand, she ran her fingers through normally brushed silver locks that were constantly covering her face and agitating her more than usual. She allowed a short sigh to pass through her pastel colored lips, once more, in an attempt to keep her frustration from getting the best of her.

Raine Sage now glanced about her foreign surroundings, hoping that perhaps this was all just a bad dream, one in which she'd prefer to wake up from. This was not Iselia, this was not small village that was normally quiet, this was a loud mass of noises along side a large flow of people she'd never seen before. Raine couldn't remember much before it had come to this. She vaguely remember yelling at Lloyd about something he hadn't done on a test when suddenly her surroundings had grown dark, even now she couldn't bring herself to think perhaps she had fallen asleep in her own classroom while lecturing one of the students who was known for sleeping in class himself. "Alright..." she began softly, closing her sapphire colored eyes for a moment to allow her thoughts to be organized.

"Oh! What are we going to do?!" snapped a young woman who stood to Raine's right, puffing out her cheeks in a way to contain the anger that was beginning to blossom from inside the pink haired half-elf. "No one will even let us talk to them!!!" she added, balling her fingers into the palm of her to create a fist, that shook with frustration.

The young woman, much similar to Raine's predicament, had awoken to such foreign sights with as little knowledge as her new found Professor. Though Arche would have preferred to be stuck Claus or Chester than the half-elf that now traveled with her, not only did the teacher correct her at every angle, she also had a habit of using long words to describe things that needn't be describe at such length.

She now sighed after a moment of silence between the two half-elves. She could only ponder if Cress and the others had come to be here as well though her thoughts seem to linger on a certain blue-haired archer whom she had fought with only a few hours before she awoke to this place.

[OOC: okie I edited Raine's post and thinking to doing the same with Arche]
((Good evening everyone ^^ Just finished reading through the topic, and if I wasn't captivated before, I am now. Just a couple of OOC notes for future reference. First off, i'll get to work on a character banner as soon as i get my scanner back, which will be some time early next month. Not sure if it's a 'requirement', so to speak, but it's something i feel like doing either way. Second, I can tell by the way some of you type, that most of you are from the US, which puts me at least 8 hours out of synch with you, so my posting is probably going to end up being done when no one else is online >.< I look forward to RPing with you all! ))

Something was very, very wrong... this was not how Waygate travel usually felt, not by a long shot. Kyrnar doubted a word even existed for this sensation other then, perhaps, absolute nothingness if that was even a real word. He could feel his self in the all-encompassing darkness of the travel spell, and could feel that he was standing on 'something', but beyond that he couldn't even be sure that it was even air that he was breathing. His mind raced through the possibilities of what could have gone wrong? Sister Illiana's chants? No... she was one of the greatest masters of the Order, and her mastery over the Path of the Travelers, through which she was able to awaken the dormant Waygates in the lands surrounding the temple was undeniable. Could one of the spellcasters from that thrice damned cult have done something to the spells of the gate itself? No... they were all dead, he was sure... wait... was that a light?

Faster then a blink, the world returned to Kyrnar's vision as he exited the Waygate network. Once again, real ground under his feet and real air in his lungs. He had just enough time to register that he was not at his intended destination at the Temple before things went wrong yet again. As he stepped forward out of the gate, he realized that his foot had not landed on a solid surface as he had expected, leaving his weight committed as he stepped not onto the steps of a typical waygate, but directly off a cliff, into open air. At some point in the fall, he blacked out.

-=-=-

Slowly, thought returned to Kyrnar's pounding head as he began to regain consciousness, though many of his senses remained clouded and befuddled by what had just happened. Blinking, he took stock of his surroundings as best he could, moving as little as possible in case he'd done some major damage to himself in the fall. Laying on his back at the bottom of the cliff he'd fallen from, he'd been lucky enough to land in an overgrown clearing filled with mosses and tall grasses that had cushioned his landing. The cliff wasn't as high as he'd feared either, so he had that much luck, at least.

Other then what felt to be only bruising and a few minor cuts Kyrnar couldn't find anything physically wrong, and so pushed himself to sit up amongst the grasses, his eyes going wide with shock as he did. Trees! Actual trees, like he remembered from his childhood! An entire forest, even, and beyond that, the distant rooftops of a village with pointed, tiled roofs rather then square, flat roofs. The Waygate must have sent him far off course, to one of the northern kingdoms. Kyrnar looked back up at the cliff to try and see the gate he had come through, but though he could see the ledge he had fallen from, behind it looked to be nothing more then solid rock. A chill ran up Kyrnar's spine as he turned and looked about again, seeing no signs of his fellow Brothers and Sisters from the expedition despite having been the last to enter the gate... this wasn't right, not at all.

A breeze blew through the clearing, awakening Kyrnar's sense of just how much colder it was in this place compared to where he'd just come from. His clothing, a loose fitting, dark red robe and trousers with yellow sash, were designed to keep the sun off his skin and retain little heat. Desert clothing... and this was definitely no desert. Already shivering, he took one last look back up at the cliff, then set off in the direction of the village or town whose roofs he could see.

"Haha, I don't know what to tell ya. I'm just a weak, lazy bum. All I want is a fun, easy life. That's it- nothing more, nothing less!"

((Ah~! Welcome to our humble roleplay, Alandi! Yeah, US person here~! XD Don't mind my oddness when I type these little out of character tidbits... razz And hello Fate~! biggrin Yay, yet another joins in the story~! This is great~! :3 ...Hmm Kratos' roleplayer DID seem to vanish, should I go and drop the guy a pm? :'D ))

Zelos took his time, he looked Sheena up and down throwing in a comment as he picked up her torn garment "My,my, Sheena hunny...You look very nice wearing my wonderful coat like that~!" and dug through the bag to find the materials he had bought to fix up the torn material. Sheena shot the red head a look that could have possibly killed him...had he been looking up from sowing closed one of the tears, as for how he knew how to, he had to fix up any rips when he happened to get in a fight when he'd sneak out of his home in Meltokio, he wasn't stupid. Once Yuan began to toss questions, Zelos couldn't help but smile, the expression that slowly made its way into his eyes made Sheena back up in the slightest bit without realizing it. "Well, she began showing up at the parties after what she called a freak accident," he spoke as if the rest weren't there as if this info was no big "Of course it wasn't, but anyway~! I knew the crystal was real, last time she was at a party, she had it hidden."

He paused to move on to another rip, the bigger from the rest...

"Stupid...little...Oh don't worry blue-locks, she's not really sporting a strong crystal. IF she tries anything, most it could possibly do is make a light show." he left out the fact that it was a prototype, he had guessed that much from its uneven energy.

Zelos murmured as he concentrated even more on his work "And what an accident it was..."

The ex-Chosen decided to simply shrug to answer the last question, the small needle had decided to get itself stuck and he wanted to insist on getting the repairs done.Yank, yank, yank...

---------------------------------------------------------§-----------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------♠-----------------------------------------------------------
Sheena looked towards Yuan once Zelos went silent again, his bangs now covered his eyes, and she was rather thankful for it. His eyes had that...serpent-like look, the same look he had when the events at the tower in Tethe'alla had happened, she needed a distraction. "Why would she stick around us though? Is she some kind of..." she hesitated for a moment "A kind of...spy?" she could see from the corner of her eyes Zelos' shoulders jerk up and down as a form of tossing the word over his shoulder. "What's bothering me is the crystal, Chosens are born with them. Or did someone change the rules while we were all gone?"

Wait...Kratos?! Sheena blinked rapidly for a moment before she shook her head and frowned "Wait, he's here?! Well if he's here then..." that could mean anyone could show up... What if Yggdrasil or Martel suddenly waltzed through the door? Yeah, as if that could happen, Sheena made the mental note that when that would happen she'd call herself crazy or...who knows.

((I think I'm gonna change the posting style to one like yours Ayaji...Its a bit annoying erasing stuff from the codes I use for these multi character posts...XD XD XD also...re-posted because the stupid post went retarded... WHY DOES IT KEEP ON SAYING REMOVED?!!?!?!?!?!? D< ))

Remiel

"M-my beloved daughter," sighed an angel, draped in white and green, bearing great white wings that spread from his back. He gazed serenely over the strange new landscape before him with stormy blue eyes, reaching up to brush a strand of golden hair away from his forehead. The corner of the angel's mouth twitched as it fell right back into place; his hat had done a wonderful job of keeping his hair in check, but now it was gone. Somewhere in between his last real memory and now, he must have lost it.

He could recall speaking to his beloved daughter, Colette, at the Tower of Mana. He longed only to see her again, and to complete his mission that she could join her father in the ranks of superiority. He turned slowly and narrowed his eyes. Here he could see neither that tower nor the heaven-reaching spire for which the Tower of Mana was built. In fact, no recognizable landmark presented itself, though he stood in the air high above the earth below. He closed his eyes, letting memory flood back, shaking off the dust of disuse. His neck twitched suddenly and pain lanced through his skull. This perplexed him, as a superior, unfeeling angel. Nonetheless, he was forced to conclude that his recovery after his imprisonment within his Cruxis Crystal was not yet complete. Until such time as his memory was properly restored, he would be neither able to identify which part of Sylvarant or Tethe'alla he was in, nor would he be capable of searching out his beloved daughter, Colette, directly.

Were he capable of feeling it, this would have made him sad.

"I see," he told the air after a long moment. To stand and wait here would be inefficient. To seek information or assistance from inferior elves or humans would be beneath him.

He spread his wings and leaned forward, dropping slowly out of the sky. His eyes closed, he could see the darkness light up before himself. He could not pinpoint his beloved daughter, Colette, of course. So instead, he would travel to each Cruxis Crystal or exsphere he could find, and in that way track his beloved daughter down, one way or another.

"M-my beloved d-daughter," he sighed as he dropped like a stone toward the nearest and largest gathering of Cruxis Crystals he could see. In the sky overhead, he appeared as a blazing bolt of golden light, arcing down toward Yuan, Kratos, and Zelos.

But he could sense an Exsphere on the way to them, and slowly angled himself toward it. At the very least, perhaps he could learn something about where he was. The golden light turned downward and soared to the earth, then vanished as Remiel, the last faithful angel of Cruxis, appeared behind Raine and Arche. He murmured deeply, "Greetings, mortals."

[If you couldn't tell, my version of Remiel is a bit... cracked. He spent a lot of time trapped after his crystal wasn't properly destroyed. c.c]

Raine Sage
-x-
Arche Klein

With a sigh, Raine, turned to where she had heard the voice. Though felt it a waste of time knowing that whomever had called to the two hadn't really been trying to catch their attention but the attention of someone else. But with a bit of wishful thinking, she turned nevertheless, to catch sight of familiar blond hair and green tunic, the Professor bout jumped out of her own cloths, having not expecting to see a Cruxis Angel here of all places.

Assuming that he were there to start something, she pulled out her staff and held it in front of her, stepping back a couple of steps to keep from getting to close to him. Narrowing her sapphire eyes, Raine Sage, cleared her throat and asked, "What do you want?" the woman, though appearing to be frail and thin, stood straight and nimble, preparing herself for anything.

Arche watched the Professor closely as she took a familiar battle stance Claus used to take when he was preparing to summon Undine or some of his other spirits that he had acquired during their quest. It made the pink haired half elf a bit sick to her stomach, she hadn't expected to miss Claus of all people, she frowned a bit and decided it best to turn her attention to the stranger than to memories of her companions.

Chirpy now witch jumped in on her broom with enthusiasm, "Hiya ol'man!" she began, wheezing up a bit to be next to his shoulder, making her a bit taller than he. "You lost or something?" she now asked, grinning from cheek to cheek. Arche noticed the Professor twitching from the corner of her eye and felt she were fixing to be scolded soon for something she wasn't quite sure about yet. "Oh! Oh! Could it be that you're going to help us?" she now asked, hoping to forget about the glares she was getting from her new companion.

"Arche!" the older woman harshly called.

Making the younger mage flinch on her broom.
Deios Arafai
"Ugh... Do I have to?"

If there were 2 things that Deios Arafai absolutely couldn't live without, they were plums and comfortable beds. Right now he was lacking both. Back in the capital, he had a nice little, affordably-priced apartment in a mediocre part of town. Comfortably-sized, and with a comfortable bed. It had been his home for the past... What, decade? More than that? Anyhow, he had lived there ever since he had moved into the capital to become a knight of Aria's Order. Which, to be honest, wasn't as rewarding as it sounded. That might be why the blond seriously hated when his unit was discharged to escort missions or guard something or whatever. This time it was investigating a out-of-the-way little farming village for ruffians. Deios was pretty sure its name started with an 'I'...

Anyhow, the whole town only had one crummy inn that seemed to love cheating knights out of their money. The slacker was confident that the innkeepers had stuffed the mattresses with fossilized porridge instead of... Whatever it is you normally stuff mattresses with. The man had gotten absolutely no sleep last night, and a backache. Hey, maybe it wasn't fossilized porridge. Maybe it was Cheagle corpses... Yeah, that would explain the huge lumps. The innkeeper was crazy to. He made a point to remember never to come here again.

To make matters worse, Deios had eaten his last plum (and thrown the pit at the back of the squad leader's head too, bullseye!) an hour ago. And there didn't seem to be a single fruit stand in this town. Great, I'm stuck in this stinking town with its stinking inn, with no stinking fruit stall in si- Wait! Oh, there it is, why didn't I notice that earlier? Out of the corner his eye, the knight spotted a large display of fruits in every color of the rainbow. Including plums. Delighted, the man made his way over to the stall.

To put it simply, Deios Arafai was shopping for plums.

Estellise Sidos Heurassein
and
(Emily Bransen

{OOC: Sorry for being so late! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I know my Christmas was great! ^.^}

Estelle looked back at Ade, feeling uncomfortable. "Well, um, you're right; it's my fault we're going into the forest, so I doubt Yuri will be too mad at you," she said, trying to make the Krityan's mood lighter. ...Then again, the younger boy was probably right in the fact that the dark haired swordsman would give her a scolding of some sort if he realized what she had done.
As the conversation paused, a sound of some sort became audible. Estelle paused, listening. It was faint, but... "Is someone talking nearby?" the princess whispered.

******

"Emy! You've got some 'splaining ta do!"
Emily froze in midstep. Great. Her entrance had not gone unnoticed by the old innkeeper. Just what she needed right now.
The old man rambled on. "Doncha think it's time ya actually lernt ta wield a farm tool? Ya'll never be of any help th' way ya 're now!"
Restraining herself from rolling her eyes, the blond girl resumed her pace across the inn's wooden floor to a rather nervous-looking peddler. Glancing over her shoulder, the traveling merchant said, "Uh, anything the, er, problem, little lady?"
Emily shook her head. This guy was new. It was obvious from the way he was acting. "It's nothing you need to worry about. That's just old Jed for you," she murmured.
"There's absulootely no need for the military! Ya'd think with all the money th' Order gives th' Knights, they'd be able to spare some extra gald for th' poor farmers!" the old innkeeper shouted, banging a fist on the desk he stood behind.
The peddler tried, without success, not to stare. "R-right...so...," he started. "Um, what can I do for you, lit--milady!"
"Milady"? What was with the sudden change in term?
Then she noticed the direction of the man's gaze had changed. He was now eyeing something at her hip with a mixture of awe and bewilderment.
Hm. Perhaps this could be used to her advantage.
Staring the peddler straight in the eye, Emily said, in a low tone, "Information. I need information."
Deios Arafai
"Ugh... Do I have to?"

Momentarily satisified with his purchase of about a dozen of his favorite purple fruit, The blond made his way back to the inn, his wallet feeling significantly lighter. (Of course, those weren't just any normal plums, no, they were organic plums! No magic used whatsoever!) When he got back to the door of said establishment, he winced and braced himself before opening the door, ready for an onslaught of anti-knight nagging and ranting from the mad innkeeper himself. Deios wasn't completely sure if he wanted to go back in or not. (Seriously, what happened to hospitality?)But after turning around and scanning the area for a moment, nothing really caught his interest, so he decided that if he had nothing else to do, might as well retreat to his room and sharpen his scythe or something. Then maybe check around the fields to see if there was any farmer that needed his grain harvested or whatever, so that he could get some practice with his scythe. Sparring was just too tiresome and a waste of time. Then again, the clouds did look nice... Perhaps he would just stay in his room all day.

Caught up in his train of thought, the knight opened the door and entered the small inn. He was just about to go up the stairs that led to some of the guest rooms when a flash of color caught his eye. It was a colorful outfit worn by a young girl (Okay, maybe not that young, but she certainly looked no older than... 15? Give or take?) who seemed to be talking to a peddler in the corner while eyeing the crazy old man at the front desk from time to time. (Seriously, Deios would not be surprised if the crackpot suddenly took out a crossbow and started shooting every knight in the inn full of bolts.) She had sandy blond hair of the lighter variety, lighter than Deios' corn yellow mop by a long shot, and green shirt with a red and yellow vest as well as blue gloves. The man wouldn't have given her a second look, despite her colorful little number if it weren't for one thing that caught his eye: A sword with purple markings on the scabbard and a blue insignia jewel-thing on the hilt.

The scythe-wielder nearly did a double take. It wasn't that he was interested in the weapon, ever since he was a boy, he never did like swords. Too boring and common and mediocre. Okay, he was interested in the weapon, but for a different reason. That sword was the type that only one type of person could use: A knight in Aria's Order. Deios had certainly never seen that girl around the training grounds or the capital, and, by the spirits, a girl that young would probably still be busy in knight training! Where could she have gotten that blade? A thief or highwayman, maybe? No, she didn't look the type... Was she truly that much of a prodigy that she could get into the knights at that age? The man dismissed the idea. If there were such a person, then he would probably had heard of it. Maybe...

All of a sudden, an old, familiar face dug itself out of the crevices of his memory, and presented itself in Deios' mind. Along with the face was the memory of a promise. Deios silently cursed and sighed in frustration. This simply wasn't his day. Of course, the knight had to find out if the girl was who he thought she was first. The blond approached the front desk of the inn, and the old man. (Please don't shoot me, please don't shoot me...) and put a hand into his money bag, counting about 200 gald. Dangit, that was about a month's paycheck for him. (Minus rent and plum expenses, that was.) But the knight knew by the look of the old innkeeper that he probably wouldn't tell him anything for less.

"'Ey there, 'steemed sir. I'm sure a hardworking, hospitable innkeeper like you gets tired, and could use some extra gald. 'Ere ya' go, ol' chap, thanks for the room. A lil' token of my 'ppreciation, a'ight?" he said, grinning lazily. "By the way, tha' girl over there, would 'er name be, by any chance, Em'ly Bransen?"
<Kyrnar>

The town was a lot smaller then Kyrnar had hoped, barely even passing as a backwater, even. Still, it had a number of buildings, at least one Inn that he could see and a small marketplace, so it couldn't have been all that bad. What was distrubing, however, was the way all of the townsfolk kept giving him dark, almost fearful looks and seemed to go out of their way to keep their distance from him. Every time he had tried to approach one to ask where he was, they had stared pointedly at his robes, mumbled somehting incoherant and made a hasty exit away from him. The tension of the people was almost tangable, as though something had already been setting them on edge and his presence was another factor building onto their unease.

There were also a fair few people about the place bareing weapons, and he got the distinct impression that some of them were watching his movements very closely. They were probably town guards, he reasoned, but something told him that steel was not the only weapon at their disposal. He couldn't figure out where it was coming from, but he could almost taste the mix of unusual magics in the air ever since stepping into the town.

Not far away across the town's central market, he spotted what appeared to be a chapel or other place of worship of some kind. He didn't recognise the crest above the door, but most religions offered aid to travelers and those in need regardless of their origins. Striding across the marketplace and up the steps of the chapel, Kyrnar paused for a moment at the threshold of the open door; the architecture inside was impressive, especially for such a seemingly small town, but what struck him the most about it was that, somehow, it was even colder inside the building then it was outside.

Even so, this was probably the best place to find help. Stepping inside, he spotted the clergyman, an elderly man in a flowing robe, tending to some kind of lecturn at the far end of the chapel. As Kyrnar approached, the old man looked up from his work and took in the young monk's appearance for a few moments, following which, he made a strange, strangeled sounding 'squeek', ducked down and attempted to hide himself behind the lecturn. Kyrnar sighed heavilly and looked back over his shoulder at the doorway. Several of the townspeople had gathered around the doorway, unwilling to set foot into the building with him, but watching him from afar, and their curiosity was starting to draw a few more onlookers.

Muttering a quiet curse to himself under his breath, Kyrnar looked again to the lecturn, then sat himself on one of the benches not too far away, so that he could still see the lecturn, but could be clearly seen from the doorway. Resigning himself for the wait, he made a point of placing his feet up on the back of the bench in front of him.

The old man would have to come out sometime.

Colette Brunel

{Chosen One}

A red glittered from the 16 year olds cruxis crystal cause the sun to hit her eye lids, the wind blowing against her made her have small chilly bumbs on her semi pale skin, "Huh?.." she squinted her sapphire eyes slowly open up at the blue sky above her, the sun shining brightly down upon her features. She put her hand over her eyes so she could see a little better and not directly at the sun. "How... Pretty.." she whispered sitting up slowly beginning to look around the random location she seemed to be in at that moment.

It took her a few moment to realize her current state, "Wow.." she said standing up from the ground clasping both of her hands together like when she used to pray, "It's so peaceful and.." she paused looking down at the green grass, "so quiet.." she finished then it hit her. Praying.. Wasn't she praying before she appeared here? After a moment of thinking about it she came up with a solution, "I must be dreaming!" she exclaimed happily, taking the positive out look on the situation despite it being rather unfamiliar.

The young knight stood there on guard and alert by her new surroundings but seeing as no one made themselves present she straightened up, her thin hand now placed firmly on the hilt of her sword while the other rested almost defensively on her hip. "This doesn't make any sense." she said outloud to herself. She closed her hazal colored eyes and paced around the clear field. "This isn't where I was a moment ago." she brought her hand to massage her forehead helping her to calm down, "And this isn't Werites Beacon.." she folded her arms across her chest rather irritated

She finally stopped pacing and placed both of hands on her hips, "Well I'm not going to find anything by standing here." she told herself. "I need to find a town maybe I'll be able to figure out which part of the Legacy I am in." she decided dropping her hands to her sides and turning on her heel.

((Why hello to the newcomers, enjoy your stay~! :'D ))

Larsa looked up to the sky as a sudden bright light got her attention, the crystal she bore caused a sudden feeling of great energy run through her, but then it quickly faded. Her eyes glued to the sky as she tried to piece together what that had been, unfortunately, at the moment it didn't seem to matter to her and she quickly tossed it aside. Turning back to her floating and thinking at same time that she hovered around, the girl stopped suddenly and staggered. The wings behind her slowly disintegrated as the gem dimmed and she became lightheaded, she still had to get accustomed to how much it took out of her unfortunately...

Larsa cursed under her breath as she managed to shakily regain her footing "This might bring me problems if I try anything..." All this might have to take a bit more time than planned, she knew that by the height Zelos was, she was not going to take him down easily, especially with how in tune he seemed with that crystal of his...That ninja too, the way that stupid ninja had looked at her, Larsa knew she was already gaining suspicion, not good. A feeling of anger welled up within the girl and she took out her sword, swinging at a nearby plant to take her frustration out on. After a while of wild swinging, the plant crumpled over, a flower falling near Larsa's foot. She glanced at it and an icy empty stare was what met the delicate pink flower.

"Too bad, I'd feel horrible for doing that before but oh well. It sucks to be you."

She brought down her sword on the flower, cutting it to pieces as a sly smile curled her lips.

"...Chosen."

The glint of something bright caught Larsa's eye and the girl turned her head to face the source of this. To her surprise, yet another familiar red crystal caught her eye, and its owner..."That's the other Chosen, right..? I'm not dreaming..." Larsa's smile turned sickeningly hopeful. It would be much easier now since both of them happened to be in the same place, she just had to get her crystal to stop tiring her out so quickly before she would try her....mission.

Why, I wanna feel the same as you,
Ask again, ask again
And I'll show you
The circle's broken down,
I don't care if you blame me

Remiel

Remiel stared at Raine for quite some time the moment she turned around. His eyes closed, his hands rose to his temples as he floated weightlessly before the two of them, his wings flapping almost unnecessarily.

An orange frock, a red jacket. A filthy young half-elf. Someone familiar. Hair plastered to foreheads with sweat in sweltering heat that he could not feel. A blonde girl with prismatic wings...

The orange frock again, a chamber where water ran from the walls. A soothing voice, yet repugnant to the ear.

Pale blue hair blowing in the wind atop the temple where the dead reside.

And--

He winced visibly, twitching as once more his mind charged at a notable gap in its scattered memories and was thrown back by a wall of intense and unfamiliar pain. Slowly, he regained his composure and righted himself, taking long, slow, and completely unnecessary breaths. "Raine Sage," he said after a moment, staring at her. "You may not remember me." He flapped slowly and settled to the ground in front of her. "Raine Sage," he said again, stepping closer to her. His power was enormous, and even at her current power it was unlikely she could take on a high-ranking angel of Cruxis alone. "I seek my beloved daughter, Colette. Inferior though you are, you may be useful; you will aid me in my search," he finished. It was not spoken as a request, or even a demand. It was a simple matter-of-fact statement of the truth. It offered no alternative.

His eyes snapped to Arche when she spoke, humorless and cold despite the lingering smile on his face. "You... I do not know. You lack even an Exsphere," he murmured, narrowing his eyes. "You are too worthless to kill. You may follow if you wish."

Colette Brunel

{Chosen One}

"Maybe Lloyd and the others will appear in this dream!" Colette beamed rather excited about the idea as she continued to stare up at the sky her blond hair blowing in the sudden gust of wind. She breathed in the fresh air, "It's almost feels so real.." she said exhaling.

In the peaceful quiet silence suddenly her sensitive hearing started to pick up a certain noise from behind her and turned around slowly trying to figure out who it could be. All she could see was a vivid figure from the distance. She blinked tilting her head before smiling lifting her hand and waved at the person, "Oh, hello there!" she called out.
