It's a bit of a mysterious thing. A shop you've never seen before or heard of seemed to appear in your town over night, having it's grand opening and giving out free sample CDs. As your walk on by the person out front seems to single you out in partiuclar. They walk up to you, and give you the CD with a smile. "Take it, it will change your life forever." They say before disappearing into the crowd leaving you no choice but to take it with you.

You take it home with you and pop it into your computer, finding out that it's an install disk. Following through with the steps when you're done a little screen pops up. It looks like a sign up window for a website, because it very well is. No matter how many times you try to close the little box it doesn't work, and you're left with no choice but to fill out the blank spaces. When you summit it the screen changes and says "Thank you for joining! You are about to enter the chat. If you would like to meet any of the people on here in person, please return to the store in which you got this CD from."

And with that your life is forever changed.

Has your Tsuna been raised in the mafia for some reason? Does your Giotto actually run a High School Host Club? Is your Gokudera a girl? Has your Kyoko become the sun guardian instead of her brother? Ages 5, 15, or 25 it doesn't matter this is the place to play them!

Here you and your character can meet, talk to, and even fall in love with KHR Characters from other AUniverses.

G E N E R A L
Use your brains guys! Make sure you follow Gaia TOS, and my own rules. Respect the other players, and their characters. We don't have to like all the same characters, but bashing other is. not. ok. I will not tolerate it seeing as I've had a problem with it myself. Please keep ooc drama out of the game. If you have a problem with someone, and can't deal with it yourself please read the "Questions, and Problems" section of this post to see how I'd like that to be dealt with. Don't come into my game to be trolling my players in the ooc thread. I am not afraid to use the report button, and can be a very protective person when it comes down to it.

So I'm a girl, and I like pretty things. With that said please decorate your posts. Though I ask that you avoid blinding text colors, and pictures that stretch the page. Stealing is bad, a no-no, and just plain rude. If you're borrowing a layout from someone, or had a layout made for you I ask that there is a credit line somewhere I can see it. If you need a layout made for you just ask someone nicely.

You really need to log your characters out, or at least let us know you have to get off in an OOC comment before you leave. I've been getting enough complaints about people not letting others know before they leave for an extended time that this is now a rule.

This place is supposed to be fun, and I want us all to have fun, however with that said...
I reserve the right to kick people out of my game if they break rules or become a problem.


L I T E R A C Y
I understand that this is a chat room role play, and honestly I don't expect walls of text from you guys in the online proton. Some basic well known text talk is alright like lol, brb, wtf, wth. However keep away from l33t speak. There are very few things that annoy me more then whn ppl tlk liek dis. srsly itz li3k s000 @nny0ing!!!111!!! So yeah, let's use as much proper grammar and spelling as we can. I'm not a grammar and spelling nazi, I know everyone makes mistakes. I make mistakes often myself. Just proof read, and spell check to your best ability. We need to be able to understand what it is your saying.

In the offline thread many of the same rules apply. No L33t speak, use your best grammar and spelling. However I'd like for two paragraphs per post in there if you'd please. The offline thread is Semi-Lit to Literate. I understand writers block, really I do. However it's not an excuse to write two or three sentences, and then post it. God-moding, power playing, and Sue-ing are all no-nos here.


C H A R A C T E R S
Just because this is an AU chat doesn't mean your characters can act completely out of character! There are just some things about a character that will never change no matter what au they're from. I DO NOT want to see Hibari become a scared of everything wimp. Xanxus CAN NOT tearfully confess his love for Squalo (I don't wanna see Hibari doing that either to anyone). Mukuro SHOULD NOT become a whiny, clingy, little b***h for Chrome, or Daemon, and I'm sorry Tsuna just shouldn't go off on a killing spree for the hell of it. That's. Just. So. Wrong. If this is your first time with a character just tell us.

You can have 10 characters at one time. This is to make sure you will actually play everyone you take. If you'd like more then 10 then I'm sure we can work something out once you've shown me you can keep up with 10 characters. If you don't think you can play someone any more, let me know! There won't be a penalty for having to drop characters, and if they're still free when you find the muse again you're more then welcome to pick them back up. On that note though please, please, PLEASE don't pick up and drop characters every couple weeks.

Just for the record there will be no original characters in this game. I'll accept characters like Gokudera's mother, or Daemon's woman Elena, but children of the KHR cannons will not be accepted as regular players!

A L T E R N A T E U N I V E R S E S
There will be no only one person, or only certain people, allowed AUs here! If you've created an alternate universe with particular people in mind to play the characters, then either convince them to join, or please, please just don't play that au here. If you have a problem with how a person is playing a character then please pm me or one of my mods, but I really don't want to see people pming me because a person was accepted as your AU!"Insert cast mate name here" isn't the person you wanted to play your cast mate. Also please try not to take all the main characters in your AU! If you do it kinda defeats the purpose of rping with other people don't you think?

Some created alternate universes have important a complete story that must be known, and followed! If your AU is one of these please make a post somewhere be it in a test thread, an actual role play you're been in/made, your gaia journal, or somewhere else available for everyone to see. and send a link along with your profile! This is very important! If you fail to do this, and someone doesn't play from your au brain child according to the story then that's your fault. So please, please, if your AU has a full story send me a link to here you're keeping it! For those applying to an AU with a set story go and read it!

Other then that most kinds of alternate universes will be accepted in this game. If you're not sure if your au will be accepted just ask!

P R O F I L E
For your profile, reserves, or anything else I'll want you to send them to me, or one of my mods. There's no hidden codes, or extra symbols you need to add. I'm trusting you to have read all the rules before you apply. Your subject line code words will be in the profile post in bold face text. If you do not use those your profile will be sent back to you rejected. If you do not hear anything back from us in 48 hours please pm us a reminder! We don't mean to ignore you I promise.

All reserves will last 2 days from the time of sending, after that they will be deleted. Don't say I didn't warn you. I don't like character squatting, and really if you can't find the time to complete our little profile, it's most likely best that you don't join. If this is the case I really do thank you for wanting to join us, and would like to ask you to try again another time!


Q U E S T I O N S A N D P R O B L E M S
Do you have a question about something in the game? Feel free to pm me or one of my mods. Or you can ask in the ooc thread. Someone will get back to you as soon as they can. If you don't get a response in a day or so ask again, or pm one of us with the question/a reminder.

If you have any sort of problem with someone in the game you need to pm me or one of my mods right away. All problems with other players, and their characters will be taken care of privately between those of us in charge, and those involved with the problem. Once a mod, or I settle a matter it is over. After that I need you guys to just let it go. If you can't seem to do that, then I may have to ask you to leave.

Layout theft is a little tricky to handle. If you suspect someone of theft you need to contact me or a mod FIRST. We will ask you for proof. What will work as proof you ask? Well I want a direct link to the suspected original layout when it was posted at it's earliest date, I want a direct link to the "stolen" layout when it was posted at it's earliest date, and I want to know how YOU know that the layout is stolen. During this I'll need you to not say anything to anyone as me and my mods figure out if this layout was actually stolen.

Problems with out of character trolls to be sent to me, because while some GMs are more worried about layout theft, and are aggressive against that I personally am extremely aggressive against trolls, and trolling. Because let's face it, they suck. No one likes them really. Don't feel like you have to put up with it in any thread of mine.

For those who don't know I, Akari ( The Lovely 86), will be on vacation February 22th to the 27th. I'm going to have internet connection, but since I'll be in Disney World I'm not sure how much I'll be online. My vacation will not effect the event in any way, and it will still be starting on the 25th. I won't make an event start post, or anything, when you sign in your characters that are participating on the event just sign in using your gender bent layouts, or with them saying they've been gender bent.

After 6pm US Central Time on February 21st I will not be accepting any profiles for the time I am gone!

There've been a lot of new apps recently, and also a lot of dropped characters. So just to make sure I've got everything correct in the profile thread I'll be holding another profile sweep. I know it's so soon since the last one, but I've fallen a bit behind, and this is the quickest way to get me up to date!
