Warriors are the lifeblood of a clan, they patrol the borders, keeep the fresh-kill pile supplied, and defend their clanmates against attacks from enemy felines or predators. They will give up thier lives to save another or to do so for the good of their clan. Warriors are the modest protectors that fight for as long as they undoubtedly can. What they have learned from others and on their behalf will be passed on when they succeed another and take on an apprentice. They put their lives and trust the guidance of StarClan, following the Warrior Code.

Thunder, Wind, River, Shadow and Star: The Clans

The story of the beginning of the warrior Clans has been passed down by cats of all Clans, from elder to warrior, from warrior to apprentice, from queen to kit. The story is never the same twice, and parts grow uncertain, or they become suddenly clear in the telling. There are some cats who walk dimly, their names and deeds lost in the sweet fog of the elders' den, for the warrior Clans have roamed the forest for moon beyond counting...

\ s T O R Y //

When cats first came to the unmarked territory of the forest they lived together in small groups, they were not named as clans yet. They fought constantly, thinking someone or something would steal prey, or would kill them all. They felt doomed and concealed, many cats died during the early stages of life, but one night under a full moon they met in a clearing with four oaks bordering round, stand lumberous and tall.

They spoke, claws unsheathed and yowls sounded. They ended up fighting one another and killed many felines in the process. They hid among the brambles and rested, but when they awoke they were bathed in moonlight. The cats that had died that night had turned into stary souls, healed and fit then they spoke: " Unite; or die."

The first to speak was a black she-cat, she rose with stiff and werry legs. "My name is Shadow," She mewed,"How should we unite, unless we have a leader? I can hunt in the depths of the darkest night. Let shadow rule the forest!"

" And you would lead us into darkness too!" meowed a silvery gray tom with green eyes, he cleared his throat then yowled:" I am River! I move through the forest along secret paths and hidden places. It is River, not Shadow, who should unite the forest!"

" The forest is more than River and Shadow," growled a wiry brown she-cat. " Wind alone reaches its distant corners. I am fast as the wind that blows from the high moors. I should be the ruler!"

The largest surving cat was called Thunder. He was a fiery orange tom with amber eyes and large white paws. " What good is any of that compared to my strength and skill at hunting? If any cat was born to rule, it is I!"

" You are all as foolish as ducks!" A spirit yowled. " Can't you think beyond yourselves for one moment? Think of your kits!"

The four felines-Shadow, River, Wind, and Thunder-looked up at the tabby, but none of them spoke. " The forest is big enough to feed all your families and many more," the she-spirit mewed." You need to find other cats like you, choose a home in the forest, and set down borders."

The spirits promised they would look after them and told them they should meet every full moon and not to shed blood. " You will be warriors!" a tom spirit spoke, " You will live by a warrior code and your hearts will be filled with courage and nobility. If you must fight, it will not be for greed, but for honor and justice." Thunder nodded his broad orange head. " This is wise advice. I believe we can choose our territories and lay down borders fairly, in peice." That night they did so.

Our story takes place when the cats have taken their cats in and have made clans... will they be safe, or will the ferious fightening contine?

The age of the Warrior Clans begins, resting in your paws

About The Clans:

ThunderClan: in peace, they are respectful to other clans. In battle they are fierce, courageous, and loyal. ThunderClan cats speak out for what is right and are not afraid to challenge the warrior code. They hunt mice, voles, squirrels, teh occasional rabbit, starlings, magpies, wood pigeons and thrushes.

WindClan: Fiercely loyal, tough, fast-running, and easily offended cats. They are nervous and quick to flee, due to the lack of cover on the open moor. They take pride in being the cloosest Clan to the Moonstone by HighRocks. They hunt mainly rabbits. They blend well with their surrounding because they are generally brown or gray.

RvierClan: Contented, sleek, and well fed. Long fur and glossy coats. They love beautiful things and often collect rocks, shells and feathers for their dens. They do not fear ater and hunt in it for they are strong swimmers. They hunt fish, water voles, shrews and mice.

ShadowClan: Battle-hungry, agressive, ambitious and greedy for territory. It is said that the cold wind chills their hearts and makes them suspicous and untrusting. They hunt best at night and hunt lizards, frogs, rats and crowfood. Rarely mice, or squirrel.

ThunderClan Territory:

Camp: sheltered at the foot of a sandy ravine and well protected by thronbushes, this camp is hard to attack and easy to defend

Tallpines: An area of tall pione trees

Great Sycamore: Branches are thick and strong all the way to the ends

Owl-Tree: Halfway up the trunk is a hole that is home to a twany wol that files out at night

Snakerocks: Rocky area where adders live, their are caves beneath the rocks that provide shelter

Sandy Hollow: A training hollow surrounded by trees. Warrior apprentices train here on the soft ground

WindClan Territory:

Camp: Tucked intoa natural dip in teh sand moor, this camp is sheltered from the wind

Gorge: A rocky canyon that a small river trinkles through, it is a partation in the earth and is a far, far distance apart

Outlook Rock: Large, flat, gray stone that slopes steeply above the level moors. A cat can spot movement far across the grassland, especially a slow-moving or brightly colored cat from another Clan.

RiverClan Territory:

Camp: Well-drained island is circled by gently rustling reeds instead of thorns, but the other Clans' hatred of water doesnt let anyone pass

Gorge: Shared with WindClan

The River: source of prety and protection, it is quiet, gentle, and murmuring, but sometimes froths and roars.

SunningIsland: A rock like place that lies in shallow water of the river close to ThunderClan camp, its a small island that catches a lot of sunlight

ShadowClan Territory:

Camp: A dark, well-concealed hollow, the camp is hidden deep in teh shados and is surrouned by brambles.

Carrionplace: A shedded place that holds bacteria, many cats that venture through catch unknown sickness'

Swap: a swampy, muddy area

Tall Sycamore: A tall, holed sycamore tree, a place that apprentices are often trained here to hunt at night and stalk noiselessly through the undergrowith. [will soon be Burnt Sycamore after thunderstorm event]

fOR mEDICINE cATS

borage leaves-to be chewed and eaten. Plant can be distinguished by its small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves. Great for nursing queens as it helps increase supply of milk. Brings down fever.

burdock root- tall-stemmed, sharp-smeeling thislte with dark leavfes. A medicine cat must dig up the roots, wash off the dirt, and chew them into a pupl, which can be applied to rat bites. Cures infection

catmint-a delicous-smelling leafy plant thats hard to find in the wild;best remedy for greencough

chervil-a sweet-smelling plant with large, spreading fernlike leaves and small white flowers. The juice of the leaves can be used for infected wounds, and chewing the roots helps with bellyache.

cobweb-spiderwebs can be found all over the forestl be careful not to bring along the spider when you get it. wrap it around an injury to soak uip the blood and keep the wound clean. Stops bleeding.

coltsfoot-flowery plant, a bit like a dandelion with yellow or white flowers. leaves can be chewed to a pupl which is eaten to help shortness of breath

comfrey-identifiable by its large leaves andf small bell-shaped flowers, which can be pink, white, or purple. Roots are chewed into a poultice to mend broken bones or soothe wounds.

dock-a plant similar to sorrel. Leaf can be chewed up and appiled to soothe scratches

dried oak leaf-collected in atumn and stored, stops infections

feverfew-small bush with flowers like daisoies. Leave can be eaten to cowl down body temperature, particularly for cats with fever or chills

goldenrod-a tall plant ith bright yellow flowers. poultice is perfect for helaing wounds.

honey-sweet liquid that soothes infections or the throts of cats who have breathed smoke;soar

horsetail-tall plant with bristly stems that grow in marshy areas. leaves treat infected wounds and chewed up as poultice.

juniper berries-bush with spiky dark green leaves and purple berries. Soothes bellyaches and troubled breathing

lavender-small purple floer that cures fever

marigold-bright orange or yellow flower that grows low to the grouned. Petals/Leaves can be used to stop infections after being chewed.

mouse bile-badsmelling liquid that helps ticks

poppy seeds-small black seeds shaken from a dried poppy flower, fed to cats to help them sleep. Soothes cats who've suffered from schok and distress. not for queens

nettle-spiny green seeds can be administered to a cat who's sallowed poison, and leaves can bring down swelling

tansy-plant with round yellow flowers that are good for curing cougs, must be eaten in small doses though

thyme-this herb can be eaten to calm anxiety and frayed nerves

watermint-leafy green plant found in streams or damp earth, chewed into a pulp then fed to a cat with a bellyache

wild garlic-when rolling in it, it can prevent infection

yarrow-flowery plant whose leaves can be made into a poultice and applied to wounds or scratches to expel[regeratate] poison.

deathberries: red berries that can be fatally poisonous to kits and elders. NOT medicine.

This takes place after a month of the starclans beginning, they have just returned from their first gathering as clans under the full moon. Warrior code has been made and is being taught.

Start: Morning, setting patrols up, making barriers and finding ways to make life safter

Later--->

ThunderClan: In the flood, thunderclan will save a kit, no clan claims the kit and they take it in.
in somepoint will fight with RiverClan over the island when drought occurs later in GreenLeaf

RiverClan: First a flood will occur from a thunderstorm, and repeating days of rain. This time is a time of thriving

Drought, the sunning island becomes a place of piled rocks, and Thunderstar says since the are is close to them they will take over the territorty, but as Riverstar is he wont let it happen. If you are riverstar pm when the drought happens.

WindClan: they will discover highstones, the meeting place for StarClan, and also, they will teach the other clans how to be medicine cats. This will be in Mothflights doing, if you are roleplaying her contact me for further informtion, if you are a medicine cat please pm when this is performed

ShadowClan: Lightning will strike the Tall Sycamore during a severe thunderstorm, and it will then be name: Burnt Sycamore; plays an important role
After thunderstorm, a drought comes. ShadowClan runs low on water and a poisonous sickness is occuring, cats are unsure of what to do because medicine cats arent astablished. Pebbleheart finds carrionplace and becomes medicine cat after the meeting with Mothflight
