There was a person either dressed like Noel Kreiss or he truly was Noel Kreiss. She'd heard on the news or rather the radio since that was the only dependable thing nowadays that there were strange visitors. They had described them half like super heroes and saviors and others like villains and nightmares. If this truly was Noel Kreiss, just like the one she had played the game of... He might have been on the side of the heroes and saviors. Still, there was an absolute sadness that she felt twisting with him or rather felt twisting within her. It made her sick and nauseous, churning in her own gut as if she might drown in the sea of regret that he seemed to be feeling. She grit her teeth to steady herself, holding on to the stick. She leaned upon it like a lifeline herself.

The real Noel Kreiss or so he said, dressed, and spoke... His sadness came in waves. He looked at her and spoke with her. The feeling abated itself, but then when there was silence after he spoke... She felt the moon begin to wax and the ebbing tide turn around and rush towards the shore. She met his gaze, throat closing up and making her quiet as she tried swallow and calm herself. She wished she had remembered her headphones, but they were sitting on the kitchen counter right where she left them because her mp3 player was charging in the wall. She counted the length of her breath before responding, subsiding the feeling of wanting to cry, "I suppose you wouldn't... I'm-"

She had confirmation when a heavy and familiar voice, one she had not heard in awhile since she put down the game... She flicked her gaze up and saw purple hair. He had spoken the name of Noel Kreiss, identifying him. She knew the name of this one... Caius Ballad... Noel's friend and former mentor, who turned toward trying to save their mutual companion-Yeul... Well, for Caius it had been every Yeul or something like that... He had some power... chaos or a heart or something like that that gave him all those powers. However, he was supposed to be Lightning's rival. She mused over how easily Noel could have been that rival, but he was the sort of person that would not hurt someone dear to him... protecting by all means.

Almost as if on cue, Noel stepped in front of her to protect her as he pulled two blades from his back just like she remembered equipping him with... too bad she couldn't remember the exact details on the equipment to recognize them in the dark. If she had any doubts about this truly being Noel and that truly being Caius, all of them were wiped in their interaction. She should have known from the voices... even if they had voice actors, their voices were just the same... If they were cosplayers, they certainly would not be like this... And just looking at the two of them, they were perfect-inhuman in that way with their almost unrealistic and idealistic builds...

Aria sucked in her breath and tried to think. What did she know about Noel? What did she know about Caius? Judging from what Noel was saying... he would never see Serah again. She closed her eyes and remembered the end of the game... She was miffed and indignant. Of course, her brother was worse. His favorite character had always been Serah. She wasn't quite as crushed since she knew it was coming, but still... it was kind of irritating and to see Lightning crystallized... The end was a question so there was no telling how it really ended or would end or if there would be something more. The potential was there, but she had sort of lost touched when her brother went away.

If Caius was standing before her, then he was not dead yet... unless this was the secret ending they were talking about... the one that she did not get but knew existed. She glanced at him, his gaze piercing hers. He wasn't quite as frightening when he was on screen. However, when he held out a weapon and was gunning her down with killing intention, threat, and intimidation... she felt her stomach drop a bit... Not to mention the total anguish in the air made her lose even more focus... Caius was angry, indignant, but overwhelmingly sad... Considering what Yuel meant to him and why he did all he did the entire game, it made sense. She always wanted to ask Yeul why didn't she ever try to stop Caius if she seemed to want to make a better ending or maybe that was just her own interpretation of things...

The thickness in her throat did not recede but only increased. Warm tears slipped down her cheeks, speed increasing with each passing moment. Noel was so sad... Caius may have been irritated or confused on the surface, but he was just as caring as Noel was albeit his actions having taken a more demented and twisted due to the number of deaths and the amount of sadness. She raised her arm to wipe away the tears because if she let them fall, they slid down her cheeks and her neck and into her shirt. And it was cold so this was the most logical thing she could come up with at that moment.

"...Is there really a need to fight... right now?" She hiccuped a bit as she tried to calm down and sound sensible. She was crying vastly, but they were not necessarily her own tears even if she was the one producing them. "Shouldn't...shouldn't you both... b-be m-more concerned ab-bout wha-what's here... Th-this isn't Co-cocoon or G-g-gran Pulse or Va-valhala. This... this is Sydney, Australia, and it's cold. " She managed to find her way into more regulated speech and breathing towards the end. If she focused on talking and ignored Noel's sadness, which filled her most because of his nearness to her presently, she could manage to conversation.

She reached into one of her pockets to pull out a hand warmer. She put it in her hands and cracked it. She reached out and offered it to Noel, "Take this." She took a second one out and cracked it activate it. She tossed it weakly over to Caius. Between her bad aim and the convenient breeze sort of countering it, it managed to get to where he was. "You, too. They're hand warmers." She needed to figure out what to do next. The tears had slowed a bit, but they were still rather steady. She just needed to keep wiping them away... Her nose was probably dribbly and gross and thus the arm-wiping because she had the power of empathy and not precognition.

This probably wasn't the smartest decision she ever made, but who was Emily to judge her? Todd would certainly be excited and congratulate her. The only way this could get any better was if she had come across Serah or better yet, Tifa, Rinoa, or Dagger... Long dark haired heroines-go figure, right? "I'm probably not the best person to tell you guys this, but... this isn't a time paradox... no historia crux at least not that I'm aware of... or anything like that..." Her stupid decision? Bate them with knowledge that she shouldn't have technically speaking... well everyone had it if they played the game or read wikipedia.

Aria took in a deep breath, glancing between them, "If you both agree not to fight, you both can come back to my place where it's arm... and I think... I think you both should know something..." She hoped what she had to say would not make them sadder, but it was the only truth that she knew. She paused and came to the realization that she was making demands and conditions without giving her name. She wiped her red face again before she said as a sort of afterthought, "You don't have to trust me, but my name is Aria Hall. Neither of you have ever met me before or at least it wouldn't make sense before now... " And there she went giving her name to strangers, another potentially bad idea on her part...

Noel was as foolish as ever, taking the role as guardian to the girl that happened to be there. When he saw Noel bear his weapons his smirk grew on his lips, perhaps now he can end Noel...and cause her to finally have her peace and exist or have Noel kill him and take his role...? "Are you certain? You speak as if you know of this realm? ...I bear the heart of Etro and I know not of this place...you know nothing, do you Noel?" He said as he seemed to keep his aim on the other guardian, he wanted to take him down here and now.

Though something inside of him snapped, did Noel honestly think it was something so simple? He was the lucky one? His heart seemed to tear a bit as he spoke,"You speak as if seeing her death over and over again is a gift? To see the one thing in this world you swore to protect to die in your arms. You are as much of a fool as you were then...as you are now--- " His speech was cut off as his eyes widened ever so slightly....Serah was killed...but as far as he could remember the girl was still alive. Was this another sort of paradox...? Perhaps... all he could tell was that the man before him also felt the sorrow of losing someone dear. Perhaps not as dear in the same way but Caius knew Noel cared for Serah so...perhaps this boy before him finally was ready? "You allowed your charge to suffer death? How did such a sight make you feel Noel? Did you wish to gain vengence on the source of her death? Battle even gods to return her to your side? Tell me Noel...how did such a thing feel?" Caius was one to exploit a weakness when he saw one. It was how battles were won and right now, the raw emotion he saw over Serah was a grand thing to dig at. After all if this man knew how it felt he truly had to see it his way. Yeul suffered.....she desired to live just as much as anyone and a chance to be happy...the thought alone fueled Caius further, he had to take down the heaven to reach his goal...something he would do without a second guess. "Come and enjoy the chaos of battle, lose yourself in its beautiful hymm." He said as he was about to fight but words started to ping at his mind, between this odd girl on the sidelines and Noel....his curiousity and confusion was peaked.

The moment he heard Noel speak of this place not being their home it did cause a bit of doubt in the guardian. Perhaps it wasn't but he was certain he could find a way home...this could simply be a complex paradox."Be silent with your foolishness..." It was then as he said that as Aria spoke up, which caught Caius's attention...she had broken speech? what was wrong...was she scared for her life...? No... this was not that, this was sadness and woe....why did she feel such a thing? The sight that broke Caius's stance slightly was the fact that Aria had tears streaming down her face...these tears...were something in relation to them perhaps? Caius and Noel both suffered major losses...had immense pain....so...she perhaps was a seeress...or something like that?

Sydney...? Cold? All things Caius seemed to be confused at...First Noel spoke of Serah's death but that was not something he witnessed...then this girl spoke of odd lands...knew of Vahalla and even their homes....she had to be some sort of key. She caught Caius's attention and managed to soothe the dragon for now. Caius sighed a bit as he sheathed his weapon only to looked at Noel,"Stand down, this is not the time nor the place to settle old fights. " Caius was reasonable as he then spoke to Aria,"Dry your tears girl, you need not shed them for any reason. We will not fight for the time being...though I shall require answers---- " He voice stopped as he soon caught the hand warmer and looked at it with a odd expression, tilting his head only to feel the heat through his gloves as he then glanced up to the girl,".....hmrph...." He wasn't much of one to give thanks to anyone but he was grateful for the gesture.

When he heard her name he spoke his own,"Caius Ballad....as for your home, if that is where I must go to get the answers I need then lead the way...the cold does not bother me. " He said soundly as he walked towards Noel and then paused to stare him directly in the eyes,"You are far different then I remember Noel....your eyes speak a much different verse then before. " He said honestly as he brushed passed the man, his movement taking him to Aria's side. He had a question burning inside of him tearing at the heart of chaos that beat in his chest....why was this girl crying over nothing? "I do have questions for you Aria, I expect answers. " He said as coldly as he could, Caius enjoyed knowing all he could of everything he interacted with, encase he had to destroy it. As for this girl, the tears were irritating because it reminded him of Yeul...her look and expression, something that truly unnerved the stoic and strong warrior.

All those days chasing down a daydream
All those years living in a blur
All that time never truly seeing
Things, the way they were
Now she's here shining in the starlight
Now she's here, suddenly I know
If she's here it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to go

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog is lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new

Eugene had managed to get the fire going pretty satisfactorily, it was hot, but not hot enough to push all the bitter cold from the room. He'd gone around the house and found whatever he could that would create warmth, blankets, a few sweaters and coats, they were strange and not what he was used too, but he didn't care. He needed to stay alive long enough to get back to his wife. He'd found some women's clothes, more then men's, maybe girls had lived in this house... there was maybe one man, and if he was gone, then he didn't feel bad using his coat.

He blinked a little from the mound of coats and blankets he was in now, knowing that voice immediately. "Rapunzel?!" He got up and moved toward the door, coming around the corner as she opened the door to let herself in. Instantly he saw her old dress, but that wasn't the strangest thing either... she had her long, blond hair. He didn't think about it for another moment, she didn't have shoes on, and that little, thin dress couldn't be keeping her warm. Her feet were already red, this was not good.

"I don't know how you got your hair back, but it doesn't matter right now," he helped her gather it up, and he picked her up with all her magical tresses, and he carried her to his mound of blankets in front of the fire. He sat down in the middle of it, with her in his lap, her hair and everything, and he covered them up with the blankets and took one coat about her size and pulled it around her shoulders. He took her poor feet and made sure that she tucked them up under her, and against him, so he could giver her the most body heat where she needed it.

He probably looked a little different to her too, he wasn't wearing his green jerkin, nor his brown pants, he was in a black ensemble, it was much nicer, more expensive looking... mostly because Rapunzel's mom had fun dressing them both up... and he just let her... the poor woman had been mourning the loss of her daughter for so long, then to have a daughter and 'son' all at once... he joked about being annoyed... but for an orphan, it actually felt really good to have someone like a parent... though he had been in quite a bit of trouble for stealing Rapunzel's tiara for awhile...

Eugene pulled her against him and wrapped her up in his arms, making sure they were mostly covered by the blankets. He carefully brushed her hair back from her face, making sure not to snag any of her hair... to even cut a piece would turn it brown... he knew from experience. "So, Blondie... there seems to be something different about you since I last saw you... for one, your hair is long and blond, instead of brown... secondly you don't have a wedding ring on... I'm pretty sure the last time I saw you, you were showing it off to all the palace staff... so... maybe you should tell me what you remember, and I'll fill in the gaps?" He hoped she still didn't think he'd betrayed her... that was one dastardly thing he would never do.

Alfred managed not to throw up his breakfast, but the smoke filled air didn't do much to make the sick feeling go away. His eyes filled with tears, he couldn't help it. He was this land, just as much as he was the people... it was ruined... if LA was like this... then NYC was probably completely gone. He knew all too well how nucs worked... he didn't know what to do, how he could fix this... there was no fixing it! He coughed, but managed to not vomit, no matter how much his body wanted to expel the contents of his stomach.

A girl came to him then, and she was talking to him, but he couldn't really managed to answer her. He was in shock, not just to his mind, but his body wasn't obeying him as it should have. She put his glasses back on his face, she was smiling and trying to help. He managed to smile at her a little bit, even though the tears wanted to break and slid down his cheeks, he didn't want to think about crying in front of a girl.

He was surprised when she just picked him up though, taking him over to... was that a polar bear or something? She seemed... Asian maybe? But her eyes were blue... maybe not. She didn't look like a certain kind of culture... she was more like, several, or a completely different culture all together. Though, it didn't seem like a great idea of ride a polar bear, the animal seemed to be domesticated... and they were able to ride it.

He still didn't get a chance to say much, and she apologized for man handling him. The cold was starting to get to him and he shivered, just closing his eyes to try and find his voice again. They were in a restaurant or something now, maybe... he wasn't sure, but she made a fire... rather impressively he might add, and he sat next to it to try and get warm. "I'm Alfred," he said softly, "and... well I'm America, the country we're in... I"m kind of like it's... protector. I watch over the people here, and the other countries have protectors too. You can call me Alfred, or America, it doesn't matter much to me really. But..."He started breathing shallowly and the tears came back, "there isn't anything left... I can feel it... it's gone..."

His shaky hands came up and he took his glasses off, wiping the water from his eyes... he didn't want it to freeze them closed or something. She probably wouldn't believe him, but that was alright... it wasn't like it mattered anyway... everything was gone and his heart hurt so badly that it might just give out. Was it possible to die of a broken heart? Probably, since it seemed he was pretty much dead already. Heard a female voice at the door, but he didn't dare to hope that someone from his country had survived... it was probably someone like Korra, someone like him he guessed... since the USA he'd just left was fine... it didn't matter though, he was still connected to this land, even if it wasn't his home... it was still him...

When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed
Don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest

Forgetting
All the hurt inside
You've learned to hide so well
Pretending
Someone else can come and save me from myself
I can't be who you are

Drizzt had been hiding, and observing, seeing a young man and a horse. He seemed to be a woodsman, perhaps even a ranger like himself if he were to take in the bow and cloak... he looked like he could be, though a human by the looks of it. Humans could either easily take to his appearance, or they would react violently... other elves always captured first, asked questions later... but humans were the most unpredictable. He lightly jumped from the roof, his soft soled boots making barely a whisper.

He was going to call out to the man, try and find out which plane this was so he might find a wizard to send him home... he wasn't sure if the young man would know anything, but it was worth a try. He moved out into plain sight, with his hood up, to partially cover his face. His lavender eyes almost glowed in the low light, mostly because he had to partially use his darkvision to see the details around him. It was in black and white, but it took the gloom out, he could better assess the other.

Though, it did seem that not only could the ranger see him, but another being could. He didn't know if she was a druid, or perhaps a wood nymph of some sort.. it was not a surprised that she was so distraught... the devastation was immense, and someone with even more connection to nature would have been sent to their knees. She had hardly anything on either, her bright red hair stark against the gray background. He didn't even think about it, he took his cloak off and wrapped her up in it, exposing his long, wavy white hair, pointed ears and black skin... it was so black in fact it was the color of coal, not a gray or brown... but truly black.

He lived her up then, trying to over as much of her as he could. "I am not who you think, Lady, however I will help you. My name is Drizzt, I am a ranger... a guardian of nature, and so I will protect you." He wanted to get the other ranger's attention, he would probably also want to protect a lady of nature, but with her state of dress the way it was, it was dangerous to not get her inside. They were surrounded by deserted houses... perhaps they could find her something better to wear.

The drow elf wasn't sure what he should do, so he called out. "Fellow ranger," he said, hoping his observation was correct, "this lady needs help, can you assist me?" A human male might be less shocking as he was, even if she was a nymph of some sort, most goodly or neutral races knew better then to trust a dark elf. He didn't wait for an answer, he carried the green skinned girl into the house, which was happily open. There was a fire place, so he laid her down in front of it and took some of the kindling he carried, along with his flint. He started a fire easily, then took the bigger logs to feed the fledgling flames.

{Star Trek}

You want a guy who can bring the bacon,
and you want a guy with savoir-faire.
Somebody who can take control of it,
someone with cool black shiny hair.

Yeah, you don't want a boyfriend.
What you want is Mr. Spock,
to come to your wasteland,
and destroy the robot.
Something more than human,
someone with blood that's cold and green.
You want something better than me.

Spock turned and looked at the rather scantily clad woman that came up to him. She didn't seem to be a normal human, there was something about her that was more powerful, he could easily see it in the way she carried herself... an alien perhaps? She seemed to have some sort bone, or protuberance on her skin... fascinating really. He knew that he, at least, would have to retreat indoors soon, so he didn't freeze to death... his Vulcan physiology could withstand high temperature fluctuations better then a human body could, but even he could succumb under these circumstances.

She seemed little bothered by the weather, he would have to ask her questions later... he was normally interested in finding out as much as he could. The thing was, he should find clothes so he could try and blend in... it was the Prime Directive after all... but if she was an alien, and could travel in space, then as long as he did it soon, there probably wouldn't be too much damage down. He would give what little information he could... if he was truly on Earth, then to alter the time line could be catastrophic to everything he knew. His mother was human, it was conceivable that he might never come to exist if he changed something here.

"We are approximately 1.4 kilometers within the current city boundaries of Paris, France. According the the amount of radioactive isotopes in the atmosphere, it has been one standard week, three days and fourteen hours since a nuclear war was started. We are within, what the humans call, a Nuclear Winter."
That was about as accurate as he could get without having the Enterprise computer to calculate precisely their location and time by using the historical database and maps from this era.

He did not know what she meant by fraccion, other then he believed it was an old Earth language of Latin basis, most probably Spanish. "I do not know what a fraccion is, so I can not answer that question, however I am... Spock," He didn't know if it was best to give her his rank or not. If she asked more questions, then perhaps he might, but she had only asked for his name. He had to keep the Prime Directive in his mind at all times... and he should cover his ears as well.

"I am in need of shelter," if she wished to come with him, then he wouldn't force her away, and he was rather curious about her... scientific curiosity, nothing more of course. He was not imprisoned by his emotions, it was logical to learn everything about a potential enemy, or friend. He scanned the area, looking around. "There is a dwelling 200 meters east that seems to have adequate insulation and a means to create a fire." The windows and doors also seemed to be intact, however the residual heat signatures within the building indicated that no one was probably living there.

Location: Somewhere in London
Items:some food and water
Travel buddys: Just Duke now...
Love: On no....

Theia would only hear Duke’s and her own footsteps as she looked to where she heard the voice. She hadn’t seen many other people since this whole thing started. Most of them have turned their own homes into forts that no one can get into without getting shot in the face. The women didn’t know what to do knowing that much. Plus, she didn’t want to be a bother to a lot of people. After all, a nearly blind person was considered a huge handy cap for a group. Maybe that was why people didn’t go to her? They assumed she would be dead like most of the world soon enough. Well, they were wrong on that! She wasn’t going to die so easily, bad eyesight or not. Besides, she wasn’t totally blind, she had Duke with her after all. He was her eyes and her protector while she took care of him back. It was only natural since she raised him since he was a puppy but something seemed to be off with Duke as of late. He seemed a bit…bigger than before.
Theia didn’t know much about what was going on in the outside world, heck, not a lot of people in London knew. The United Kingdom was an island nation and commucation by phones and internet has been cut off. Information was limited and precious, who knows what was really going on? On that thought, it seemed like she got into something she shouldn’t be involved with as she stumbled on a body. She froze as Duke sniffed the man on the ground.
“What’s going on?”
“Some crazy guy held us up!”
“Huh?”
“You heard me lady. Wait…”
There was a silence before Duke started to growl loudly at the man. She frowned, the man was leaning towards her when Duke started to growl and scared him. “Please don’t do that, Duke is very protective you see.” She said in a calm voice before hearing a door close nearby. She turned around, a free home, letting people in? That was rare. She walked up towards the door while a couple of people were calling her insane and to get away from there. She took a deep breath before knocking on the door lightly. “Excuse me, could you please let me in as well? It’s very cold out here and I don’t want to freeze to death.” She said softly. Duke sat next to her, ears perked and alert in a protective manner, as if sensing something was off.

Korra leaned on the counter as she propped her chin on her palm, a small smile still on her face as the man spoke. Alfred...well that was a really weird name... huh.. she let that slide as she heard of the name of the country, not ringing a bell as she let the man continue. After all she was cooped up in the Water Nation for so long who is to say that this America doesn't exist, right? Though her face contorted in a bit of confusion as the man spoke of the country and the fact that he was the country....so she was inside him...gross...well when she thought about it that way at least. She heard the man speak of other protectors as she went wide eyed...wait so this man was like a Avatar?! Really?! Wow! So he probably was a powerful bender too!!

Her buzz died as soon as the water works kicked up again....he really must be hurting. 'Man this is going to be a tough one.... but I gotta do what I gotta do! I am the freaking Avatar!' she thought to herself , motivating herself to get this all fixed. She then stood up and crossed her arms and tilted her head, thinking it over as she leaned down to where her face was right in front of his."So...you feel like the whole world is on your shoulders huh? Like you gotta do all you can and give your life for it? Its a kinda heavy burden right? Well I know how ya feel, I got the whole world on mine.. I am the Avatar after all, I gotta bring world peace....and..." She reached forward and brushed his tears away and chuckled a bit. "You gotta stand tall alright and---- " She paused a bit as she looked up seeing a pink haired girl named Astra. She waved a bit as she heard the question,"Uhh.....cooking and talking...? What are you doing out there? " She was grinning widely only to wave a fish that was on a stick, cooked fully,"I got some extra if ya want it. I'm just here to help after all! " She said only to set the fish on a plate and wated for Astra to come in, the more the merrier after all!

She then shook her head and leaned in next to Alfred's ear and whispered,"All dead huh...well looks like we got one of your people right there....so...cheer up, she wouldn't want to see the mighty America frowning right? " She patted his shoulder and continued to talk where he could only hear."I kinda suck at this but....even if the world is destroyed you can always rebuild...you just gotta have the will to do so. Nations weren't there over night so why not try and build it back up and make it stronger then ever. What ever happened is in the past but we can make a future together Al.....trust me, we can totally do this...and here is the best part..." She pulled back and then brought both her hands together as water started to form around her, circling her hands around the globe of water as she then seemed to smash it together and a mist of cold ice air shot from her hands as she slowly opened them. She presented a small bird like ice sculpture and then offered it. "With enough effort, hardwork, and training...you can make something really beautiful from nothing...... " She said only to skip off as she heard a low howl ."One minute Naga!!!... " She then seemed to walk up to the wall and then slammed her hand against it, shattering the wall itself only to slam her foot down and earth-bended to create a large passage-way and a then the polar-bear dog came in only for her to do another bend sealing the wall up with a sheet of rock. He then started to lick Korra's face as she laughed,"Awwww come on! It was only like five minutes! Hey I made ya some fish but you can't eat it all, we got friends... this is Al! Go say hi!!! " It was then the Polar-bear dog leaned down and licked the side of his face as Korra leaned back on the white fur and smiled...hoping to pick up the depressed man...

Her attention went back to Astra as she then decided to ask,"Heeey...we aren't from here...so do you know what exactly is going on. Me and my partner here would really like to know so we can do what we gotta , right partner? " She looked at Alfred right in the face and winked, the man needed support and Korra wasn't about to let him fall. She felt a kinship with him as they both had so much on their shoulders after all. She would tell him more about herself but in truth he needed to be a bit more stable so they could have a lengthy conversation. After all she wasn't a fan of repeating herself .

Korra looked around the building only to plop on the ground cross-legged and started to think....she needed to find a way to make Alfred happy and then get home to Mako so they can win their next round. After all the fire ferrets really weren't much without her and they had a match in two weeks....man she had to solve this problem quick! She could only imagine how pissed off her teach is right now, knowing him he probably thinks she is off raising trouble or getting in more fights but that was far from the truth.

{Final Fantasy VII}

(When this began)
I had nothing to say
And I get lost in the nothingness inside of me
(I was confused)
And I let it all out to find
That I’m not the only person with these things in mind
(Inside of me)
But all that they can see the words revealed
Is the only real thing that I’ve got left to feel
(Nothing to lose)
Just stuck, hollow and alone
And the fault is my own, and the fault is my own

I wanna heal, I wanna feel what I thought was never real
I wanna let go of the pain I’ve felt so long
(Erase all the pain till it’s gone)
I wanna heal, I wanna feel like I’m close to something real
I wanna find something I’ve wanted all along
Somewhere I belong

Cloud gave Tifa a little smile when she put her warm coffee against his forehead to get him to stop frowning. He touched the box in his pocket then, this hardly seemed the best time to give her the ring, but what if they were never going to get home... they would be stuck here, on this dying planet for the rest of their lives... when would be a good time? He'd had it all planned, a party once they found Vincent, all their friends together to celebrate... he knew they would find the gunslinger, he was too strong to die like that... at that party, he wanted to give her the ring, in front of everyone, so she knew he was completely serious. The look on her face was enough to make him dig it out right now... even if Hope was thee and wouldn't understand...

He didn't though, once he heard the squeal, knowing if he did, he'd have some rabid girl going crazy... and he didn't really want to make her angry so they would get kicked out... she had helped a lot... and the younger boy still looked pretty scared and cold. He'd get a chance at some point to give her the ring... it wasn't much, but he hoped she would like it. Tifa explained to Hope how they knew each other, then to his horror, the girl spoke up again.

"They are making it seem like no big deal! It so is, see Cloud has loved Tifa since he was a kid, but she was popular and he wasn't, so they never talked. When Tifa's mom died, Cloud got the courage to see her, but she went into the mountains and she fell... and everyone blamed her getting really hurt on him and he started to act out. He went into the military then and he promised to be her hero, and she started to love him then! They didn't even see each other until he came back to their home town, but he couldn't tell her he wasn't a hero, so she didn't know he was there... He totally protect you from Genesis, he told you right? You helped him get back to town while Zack protected both of you!!!" Cloud had no idea how this girl knew so much about them... it was scary actually... how could she know? He'd never told any one but Zack, and he was dead...

"Yeah, then you got experimented on by Hojo... he really messed everything up, huh? And you lost your memories, so when you found Tifa again, you didn't really remember her... and then Aerith started to try and steal you away because you reminded her of Zack! Then what the hell were you thinking, taking off when you were sick! You should marry her already!" Cloud's mouth fell open then, she knew everything... things that no one should know! Cloud didn't even know what to say... before the girl turned to look at Hope.

"And you, it wasn't Snow's fault... you should listen to Lightning... also bad things are going to happen, you should just enjoy any time with them you have!" She put some more coffee out, then she went into the back to get more supplies he guessed. "I think we should ask her how she knows all this..." He didn't know if what she said to Hope was right... but she'd known very intimate details of his life... things he didn't even remember until a couple years ago... there was something strange going on here... He looked to Tifa to see if she was angry or anything...

After a while with no one hearing his cries, Edd started to get really scared. "What if I don't find anyone?" he asked himself in a nervous tone. "I'm going to die!" he screamed. Panic set in. He started to run around frantically as though he was a free-range chicken being chased by a man with a gun, screaming as he ran. Edd was never very brave or tough. His friends were always there to lend a helping hand and protect him when he needed it.

Eventually he saw smoke. "Fire?" he asked himself. That meant that there were people around. A ray of hope shone down on him as he ran towards the smoke. When he got closer he saw a few people. "I'm saved!" he shouted in sheer joy. Surly one of these people would be able to answer his questions. After all, the chances of everyone in this area having no clue what was going on, was low. Right?

That was when his eyes caught a giant creature. It looked like a cross between a dog and a polar bear. Such a creature never existed in Edd's world. He read many books on strange animals. Never did he read anything about a cross-breed of a dog and a polar bear. It was impossible, therefore it had to be one of the mutated animals.

His knees started shaking like twigs in gale force winds. Thinking fast, he pulled out his welding torch and slid a welding helmet that was hidden in his hat over his face. Then he pointed it away from the creature, the people, and himselfulled the trigger. Fire would scare it away, right? "Stand back.. I-I have a welding torch and know how to use it!" he shouted. Fear could be heard from his voice. He hoped that it would not backfire and cause the creature to attack him. Killing the creature was not something that he wanted to do.

The gentle touch of warmth caressed the bearded man’s face as he entered what appeared to be an apartment, or a flat, as they call it in these parts. The lighting was dim at best; the carpet had few, but noticeable stains and the walls had faded orange wallpaper that was peeling towards the edges. He couldn’t say that he expected a whole lot of the building considering what part of town he was in. It would have to do for now and at least it was heated. The sudden blast of warmth made his cheek somewhat numb but was a great improvement from the bitter, stinging sensation of the dry winter air outside; and as he walked down these dirty hallways, a pleasant wave of nostalgia washed over him. This place reminded him of the days he chased Ben Riley across the country during those lost years. While the hate for Ben was alive then, they were lazy days, before the degeneration first attacked him. In a way, he missed how simple his life was. Now, whenever he did good, things got worse, when he did bad, karma would attack him later, and when he did nothing, guilt would haunt him.

A door behind Kaine flung open, causing the man to jump and little and make a fast 180. An older, angry looking woman dressed in expensive looking clothing with fine hair as white as winter. She was quick to invade Kaine’s personal space, circling him like a vulture waiting for a man to die. She picked at his dirty trench coat, rudely remarked on his personal grooming, and further mumbled insulting words under her breath. Kaine didn’t like being sized up, especially by this old bat of a woman, but he held it all in; she is an old woman after all. But he wasn’t going to just stand by and let this happen. He didn’t even know who she was. As Kaine opened his mouth to speak, the woman beat him to it.

“So you’re the homeless looking man that beat those punks?”

“I’m not looking for trouble. I just need to use a phone…”

“What was that with the wallet theft?”

Kaine didn’t respond. Surely it wasn’t something a good person would do, but Kaine knew he wasn’t a “good” person per say. In fact, taking that man’s wallet was solely out of habit. It’s difficult to break a cycle once you’ve been a part of it since birth. Regardless, he was clearly in the wrong and was being called out on it. He reached into his pocket and held out the flap out worn brown leather, keeping his eyes on the woman with his stone like expression on his face. She only shook her head and took it from his hands. Her old eyes went from the wallet back to Kaine, letting out a sigh.

“You said you’re not from around here?”

                                                  “…Yes.”

                                                  “Where are you from then?”

                                                  “New York.”

“Pretty far from home, I assume you left during the disaster?”

He didn’t like the sound of that. New York was used to a series of terrible events, but the woman said that word with such anguish coating that one word, it made Kaine’s heart stop. Something had happened in New York. He could only hope that Peter was ok. For all their bad blood between the two, Peter was the closest thing to family he had. How bad was this disaster? Was she just referring the spider outbreak or was it something far worse. Kaine’s heart quickly came back to life, and rampaged in its ivory cage. The questions were driving him mad. He took hold of the woman’s shoulders, gripping them tightly, oblivious to his own strength as his aggressive side took hold of him once again.

“What happened to New York?” Kaine demanded in a frantic voice.

The woman flinched as Kaine realized that he was actually hurting her with his grip. His laws had not come out, thankfully, but this outburst could have seriously hurt her. Kaine gentle let go, taking a step back, the horror of his actions slowly creeping into his mind as that voice began to scratch in the back of his mind. The woman, however, did not respond as badly as he thought. She brushed herself off and stood tall and strong, just like before. Her glare softened up and she slowly approached Kaine, while he backed away with each step she took.

                                                  “I-I’m sorry…” Kaine stuttered.

“Who are you?” The woman asked in a stern, demanding voice.

                                                  “Kaine...”

“Is that your first name or last name?”

“Both…” Kaine couldn’t help but feel like this moment has happened before.

“Listen, Kaine.” She started to calm her voice, “You are clearly lost. I’m not sure if you took a bump to your head or something else, but in these times, I can’t let someone like you run loose. You’ll freeze to death in that outfit and you need to bathe yourself. You look like you’ve just crawled out of the sewer. Tell you what; I’ll give you one room here, rent free, under the condition that you deal with those punks outside if they come back. Since the disaster, gangs have increased activity as our government tries to recover. You’re a big strong man; use that strength for something useful.”

                                                  “And if I refuse?”

“The choice is yours, Kaine. Take it or leave it. But I am only offering it right now, and if you decide not to take it and change your mind later, I will not be so inclined to help you again.

As much as he hated to submit, he didn’t have any real choice in the matter. She was right, he was lost. He was in another country, hearing about this mysterious disaster that somehow affected London as well as New York, at least that’s what he got out of what she said, was left with only a stolen wallet, his costume, and the clothes on his back; a place to stay was a godsend, even if he didn’t deserve it. It was warm here, and no doubt the room he would receive would be good enough for him to have privacy to solve the mystery of his suspicious awakening. He lowered his head and let out a long sigh.

                                                  “Ok, deal.”

The older woman carried a smirk of triumph over the bearded male. She turned away and vanished into her room, returning moments later with a tagged key, reading the numbers, 306. She tossed the key to Kaine.

“Third floor, third room on the right. I use it for storage. Feel free to use any furniture you find up there. I’ll be up there later tonight to help move your things in.”

Kaine didn’t respond, only rudely turning away with his attention focused solely on the key. He walked up the flight of stairs, finding the third floor more run down than the first, but he couldn’t complain. He was now living here for free on the condition he takes care of the local punks. It wouldn’t be too difficult a job, they didn’t seem organized, more like a bunch of punk kids that thought they were tough and moved in on people who can’t defend themselves. It was too bad Kaine was more than capable of doing just that. In the end, he wondered how people would react if he crippled the gang. They’d probably respond poorly. The people outside looked at him as if he was some kind of monster. In his mind, he agreed with them. No matter what, he wouldn’t throw away his second chance at living. He would gather information, find out if Houston was affected by this mysterious disaster, and make a full plan based on what he knows. There was no telling if the people he left behind were safe. He could only home.

With a loud creaking sound, Kaine opened the door to his new apartment, or flat, or whatever. He turned on the lights to find a poor, attic of a room, stacked to the ceiling with cardboard boxes and spider webs. Well, she did say she was using it for storage. Now that he thought about it, he never asked for her name. That’s been a big problem lately. Didn’t matter though, Kaine never planned on staying too long; just long enough. As part of the agreement, he would have to deal with the punks he beat up earlier. They would be a good place to start seeing as they were terrified of him already; killing 2 birds with 1 stone. But it was still very cold outside. His face could not take the dry air on his skin again, it was really that bad. Looking down towards his duffle bag, the red visor of his mask stared back at him, beckoning him to don the costume in this new city. Skin tight as it was, it would at least protect his face.

He tossed the bag onto the ground, closing the door behind him with only the dim light above him to light the room as he quickly changed into his costume. Legs firsts, then arms, and finally, after throwing his hair back, Kaine put on the mask of the Scarlet Spider. No matter how far he went, he could never leave behind being a spider. As Kaine, no, the Scarlet Spider pushed open the boarded up windows open, he jumped out, web zipping onto the wall of the opposite building across and began his first patrol of these streets.

Not far from the entrance to the flat, a familiar gathering took place around what appeared to be a woman and a dog. The mass was the gang he had previously scared off. Apparently the old saying was true. Some people were too stupid to live. He knew they’d just commit more crimes if he let them go. From the looks of it, no law enforcement would come near this area, allowing these gangs to gain power. Pack mentality, that’s what made them strong. Unlike the last time, Kaine just beat them senseless. Now he was going to have to cripple their confidence. Pick them off, one by one, and make them afraid of coming back. The Scarlet Spider tapped the ebony emblem on his chest, his image fading into nothingness as Peter’s last gift to Kaine further helped by cloaking him.

Slowly closing in on the group, the Scarlet Spider was assured that these men were the same people he had previously dealt with earlier. Persistent as they were, he was not so kind to have to repeat himself. But now, they were preying on someone who was not as ill-tempered as himself. The dog that stood by her side was growling as one man leaned in too close for the woman to respond rationally. He’d seen enough. Hoping for the best, the Scarlet Spider, still attached to the side of a building, shot out a thick stream of webbing, grabbing hold of the man’s, who was violating that woman’s space, back. With a powerful jerk, the Spider reeled in the man like a fisherman to a freshwater bass, grabbing his head with his sharp claws, slamming him into the wall, and finished with a silky entombment of the man on the wall. He’d be fine; the Scarlet Spider was as gentle as he could be this time; a few broken bones never hurt anyone.

Kaine turned off the cloaking system, revealing a crimson and black costumed figure clinging to the wall with only his feet and one claw. The men were flabbergasted, unsure of what to make of the ridiculous, yet surprising man. On one hand, he was in tights, Spider-Man looking tights. But on the other hand, he just stuck one of their own on the wall. The Scarlet Spider didn’t give them the luxury of pondering as another was picked off, webbed right before everyone’s eyes. This time, the Spider grabbed the man midway in the air, slamming him into the snow covered ground below as he descended. The men backed away, the Scarlet Spider’s visor reflecting the hopelessness of the situation. A real Spider-Man has showed up.

“Forget this. I ain’t getting’ killed by no freak dressed like Spider-Man!”

The man began to run, but the one that spoke placed a target on his back as soon as he called him Spider-Man. Under his mask, he gritted his teeth in irritation. It’s time to end this, once and for all. Kaine let out a roar as he fired 2 lines of web at the man’s legs, knocking him onto the ground, helpless as Kaine reeled him in. the man screamed like a newborn, clawing at the snow to try to impede his meeting with the crimson costumed crusader, to no avail. The Scarlet Spider picked up the man by his neck, pinning him to the wall he previous crawled, slamming his fist into the surface next to the man’s head, leaving a small hole. The man shrieked in terror, knowing full well he was going to die.

                                                  “P-please d-d-don’t k-k-kill me-“

“Stop talking!” The Scarlet Spider roared in fury. “I’m not going to kill you. But if you or your little friends come back here, god help you. I’ll hunt you down like an animal. I’ll break your bones in ways that will never heal. I’ll tear every piece of flesh off your body. Do you understand what I’m saying? By the end, you’ll beg me to kill you, and that’ll just be the beginning. Do you understand?” The Spider hissed.

                                                  “Yes!”

                                                  “Louder!” Kaine demanded.

                                                  “YES!”

“Now get the hell out of here. Tell your little friends too.”

The Scarlet Spider threw the man to the ground, the snow leaving an imprint of his landing as he scrambled to escape. The other man attached to the wall would wake up sooner or later, the webbing is biodegradable. He’d lecture him the same way. If anything, it would buy him a few day of peace before a counter attack is made. But in the meantime, Kaine’s attention was now on the girl who he had just saved. First instinct was just to leave her, but that voice, that annoying whisper spoke to him again. It was the same voice that told him to rescue Aracely. This girl, while not as helpless as Aracely, was still at risk. He didn’t want to, but…

                                                  “Are you alright?”

And the anger consumes me
I start to r-i-s-e
Would be so much better if I'd only try
And you're so quick to judge me
You don't even know me
My stomach turns just to know you

You keep me d-o-w-n 'cause you need it
So dead inside I can feel it
You're so much better; you've made me understand
You kick me down 'cause you need it
So dead i-n-s-i-d-e I can feel it
You're slipping through me like water in my « hands »

Halibel seemed to narrow her eyes slighty...Paris , France? She knew of the town considering she was a resident of Hueco Mundo and the hollows could appear where ever they pleased so she had been there a few times. Though as he explained what happened she shut her eyes, man was a destructive race, power corrupted even shinigami. It was ironic how hollows were seen as the enemy when humans killed one another for very little and some hollows ate dead souls so they could survive... Tia felt no sadness for what the humans caused all she could see were people walking around with the chains on their chest and looking for what they lost...ghosts... if Tia was desparate she would devour one and heal her wounds but she wasn't the type. Now Szayel or Grimmjow might do that... "Humans are greedy creatures....they are almost as bad as Aizen.." she muttered under her breath and then made her way closer to the man, he didn't seem to have the intent to harm her and Tia was a seasoned fighter so she could usually tell when someone was wanting to strike her down.

Her eyes seemed to shift a bit of sorrow in her eyes that she hid well as she sighed, "Halibel". She decided he deserved a name as well. She wasn't trusting the man but he wasn't a shinigami nor a hollow so she really saw him as no threat...oh yes and he wasn't a quincy either. She glanced over in the direction he said that the home was as she then stood before him about six foot tall as she looked directly in his eyes. "This shall not harm you. Understood ?" her gloved hand reached out and gasped his wrist as she vanished with the man in a sudden burst of speed. She looked around and saw where he spoke, close enough as she let go of his wrist and started to walk away, blood still dripping in the snow from her calf only for her to glance back. "If you wish to get warm, then follow Spock. I shall come with you." Tia said as she opened the door and looked around, seeing a few things of furniture and then sighed, there was no soul around. "Its safe...." She spoke without looking at the man and then appeared to walk in through the doorway and headed to the bathroom. It has been a while since she was living so she took a minute to find it.

Once she did she looked through the cabnet and grasped the gause and some medical wrap and then made her way back to the livingroom, only to sit on the couch and then pulled up her pant-leg and revealed the metal spike stabbing through the meat of the leg. She grasped it and then suddenly ripped it out, only showing a very faint sign of pain. She then took the gause and wrapped it as tight as she could, dressing her wounds as much as she knew even though she was no medic type. Her hand then came up and unzipped her jacket and then stripped it off, revealing her odd boned chest and face, her hollow bone and the number three on her breast was also visible. She then wrapped her wrists and then sighed, the chains weren't going to come off considering the metal they were made out of was purely made to keep a hollow captured. She set her sword down on her lap and leaned back on the couch her eyes now locking on Spock. "Build a fire if you desire, this cold is no issue for me." she said as she winced slightly adjusting her body, still sore from being nearly beaten to death. She then spoke. "If you are curious what I am, I am a hollow...as for how we moved so fast, it is called a sanido...what I am...we are built for fighting. This wound is nothing compared to what my kind has suffered before...though healing will be a issue witout the energy." She needed food...soul or actual food as her eyes did not leave Spock. She was on guard of course, and this was a sort of test...if the man wished her harm he would do it now, but she had a feeling he wasn't the sort. The way he talked was far too intellectual to be a type that is violent.

"It would seem none of my kind are on this planet... if you have questions ask them...as soon as I am able to find my fraccion my stay shall be short..." She said in her stern tone, not wanting to be without her fraccion but right now she couldn't do anything about it. the gateway to Hueco Mundo was probably blocked so she couldn't find them there...and if they were here she would feel their reitsu and then rush to their side. She was not one to abandon her soldiers.

There are thieves, who rob us blind,
and kings, who kill us fine,
but steady, the rights and the wrongs
invade us, as innocent song.
I'm not ready, I'm not ready
For the weight of us, for the weight of us, for the weight of all of us.
There's a cold heart, buried beneath,
and warm blood, running deep.
Secrets - are mine to keep
protected by silent sleep
I'm not ready, I'm not ready
for the weight of us, for the weight of us
for the weight of us, for the weight of all of us

The time has come, let us be brave....
Shake off all of your sins, the time has come, let us be brave, let us be brave

Noel couldn't stop the anger from bubbling up within him. Caius was the reason that Serah died! If it wasn't for him then nothing would have changed! He would gladly give up every having met her if she could have a happy life with Lightning and Snow. He didn't care if he was never born, he never should have changed anything! Yeul loved him and wanted to see him, so she came back... He didn't even want the other man to say Serah's name... he didn't deserve to! He was fully ready to fight him if he had too, if he was going to attack, then he would protect the girl... he wouldn't let her come to harm...

Then she stepped around him and told them to stop. He saw the utter anguish on her face, the tears there... why was she so upset? His anger bled away, leaving a hollow emptiness and worry... he didn't want her to suffer because of them... to many people had already been forced to suffer... He took the little packet, his numb fingers warming, and he turned the little thing over in his hands... that was kind of a neat thing, wasn't it? "I never wanted to fight him in the first place," he said to her as Caius brushed past him.

Noel felt instantly on edge, he didn't want Aria to be harmed... and he knew Caius would if it suited his purpose... he only cared about Yeul. He wouldn't let his mentor hurt her, he would stay right with her, no matter what. If he kept his mind off things... then he could function, at least for now. The moment he closed his eyes, the nightmare would return, seeing her fall, the life going out of her... just like Yeul... He viciously fought the feelings, repressing them, the look on his face was tight, but at least he wasn't going to break down again.

"I'd like to know how you know me,"
he said, following her toward her house... how had she even found him... and why was she crying? He'd been ready to just give up, but she'd come out of no where to help him... not that Caius would have let him either... though he would have just tried to kill him anyway... maybe he would have left him, rather then expel the energy to kill him... just let the cold do it. It wasn't the first time he would have been content to just let the environment take him... but obviously someone else didn't want him to die, first he was saved by Etro... and now by a girl that knew he name... she had to be a seeress or something... right?

He followed her into her home, not saying anything, the cold was making his mind a little sluggish, even Oerba wasn't this cold... his pants were thin, and his top short sleeved... he'd have to change into one of his other sets of clothes... he did have some armor that would probably be warmer... if Serah were there, she'd be in real trouble... he didn't think any of her outfits would be warm enough to survive this... not that it mattered anyway. When they moved into her living room, he took his sword off and leaned it in the corner before sitting as far from Caius as he could, which happened to be on one end of the couch.

Who I am, from the start"Hope is my name, not who I am"

Hope huddled up in his jacket, glancing down at the counter of the shop most of the time. He wasn't sure he really wanted to be there at the moment, but if it helped him survive until he found signs of the others, he'd do anything at this point. Hearing Tifa thank the woman working the shop for everything -- as she seemed to have really helped them out a lot -- Hope looked up and gave a little nod in agreement. "Yeah... uh... thanks," he said quietly. He went back to staring into space, thinking about what to do next. Listening to Cloud and Tifa as they talked. Maybe he should stay with them for a while. They had a sort of open atmosphere about them, and they had helped him. Until he found the others, they'd be good company, at least.

Cloud seemed pretty well known around here, wherever it was. He was getting a lot of looks from the girl working the store, so Hope could only guess. The two of them talked, and Hope could see how well the two of them got along. Tifa was trying to reassure Cloud she was alright, and apparently it had work because Cloud had smiled. It was a small smile, and the somewhat aloof way Cloud acted was starting to remind Hope of Lightning. It was at that time that Tifa mentioned his name, saying it was a good one. "It's not all that special..." he let out in a little mumble. It was a comment he got a lot, that he had a good name. He usually ignored it, really. He was getting over hating it, but that didn't mean he thought it was all that. A name was just that to him, a name.

Tifa, at that point, confirmed his thoughts. She and Cloud had grown up together, she'd said. He could only imagine how nice it must be, to have someone like that to talk to. "Must be nice..." he commented, half-heartedly. He never really had any good friends back in Palumpolum. That was when he got the comment from Tifa about not being from around there. "Yeah, I'm not," he admitted, "I come from a place called Cocoon, the town of Palumpolum. I've never been here before. To be honest, I don't even really know where I am." He wondered if Cloud and Tifa knew where they were. The way Tifa asked where he was from, he had thought at first that maybe they were. Still, there was no way of knowing for sure. "Are you from around here?" he asked. It seemed strange though, as the way she had originally been dressed contradicted the way she talked. She wasn't dressed for this cold, like a local probably should be.

When he heard the girl at the counter mention Cloud and Tifa's past, he thought even more that maybe they were from around. Still... it seemed like she knew a little much when it came to personal information, it seemed a little awkward for him. Those thoughts left his mind however, when the girl addressed him. She had talk of the way he had originally blamed Snow, and though she didn't mention it, he knew it was in regard to his mother's death. She mentioned about listening to Lightning, and how bad things were going to happen. hearing her words, his eyes automatically went wide. Again, he grabbed his arm, as if hoping his l'Cie brand would find a way to connect him to Lightning and the others. How did she know? No one knew, no one but him, and the other l'Cie. He fought back a surge of emotion, remembering his mother, and the rocky start between him and Snow. He didn't blame Snow anymore -- not since the incident in Palumpolum -- but still. He grit his teeth a bit, watching as the girl left for the back room.

Apparently she was right about Cloud's and Tifa's bit, and apparently Cloud was as awestruck as he was. When he mentioned asking how the girl knew about them, his head gave a firm nod. "I agree... There's no way that girl should know all of this about us." He tried to hide the crack in his voice. Thinking about his mother, and the Purge, brought back memories he didn't want to think about. His hands clenched, causing the one on his mark to tightly squeeze his wrist. No one wanted people they hardly knew to understand personal information. Especially not Hope, with the topic the girl had decided to breach. "Maybe... we should ask when she comes back out..." In fact, he wasn't planning on letting the girl go without figuring out how she knew. It was a touchy subject for him, and he had wished the girl hadn't said anything. Why had she felt the need to say anything in the first place, with breaching such a subject?

--------Astra-----------

Astra quickly pulled down her hood to show her face and her dyed pink hair. Yes, her hair was dyed, it’s really dark blond but that didn’t matter now did it? She looked confused at what she saw of the two strangers, mainly the girl. She…looked very different, sure the guy didn’t look like he was from around here but the girl really stood out. She seemed Asian but she was wearing clothes resembling an Eskimo. She kept a calm face, she was only happy to see someone after such a long time. She didn’t question why they were out here, all things considered it wasn’t a bad place to hide out in. She walked in and got a good look at the guy. He looked utterly destroyed. She paused before frowning sadly, she could understand what he was feeling. She shook her head at Korra’s offer of fish though it was tempting. “Sorry, I’m not hungry at the moment though thanks for the offer.” She said calmly, adjusting her backpack on her shoulder.

The women raised an eyebrow as the girl talked to the guy just out of her ear shot, her back to her. Something was off about those two but she didn’t know quite what that was. She ran a hand through her hair in thought about what was going on. Ok, so there were two people out here so far, that was a good start at least. Perhaps she could take them back to the safe group? She wasn’t so sure, it was very far away from here. Besides, she needed to rest, she hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in a while. Her thoughts where snapped out of when she heard a howl and froze. What the hell was that? She jumped back as the girl stomped her food and somehow changed the wall letting something in. She looked freak out understandably. What the hell was that thing?! What was going on?! She didn’t know what to think of this at all. She looked at Korra with a bit of a freaked out expression at her question. “ ‘Not from around here’ huh? Well isn’t that the most obvious statement in the century.” She took a deep breath to calm herself down.

“It’s a bit of a long story but…” before she could begin to tell the two what was going on, a boy came in. The kid must have been freaked out because he pulled out a bloody welding torch! He lit it up and without thinking too much about it, she quickly reached into the holster that was hidden under her coat and pulled out the hand gun. She pointed at the kid in defense, hey, if some kid just appeared out of nowhere and just light up a welding torch, you would react the same way. Besides, the thing with the girl seemed friendly enough. Weird but friendly. “Put the torch down kid.” She said coldly before noticing his knees were shaking. Sighing, she lowered her gun. “Listen, we aren’t bad guys and I’m sure this.” She pointed at Naga. “Isn’t going to hurt you, doesn’t look like a mutant from around here anyways.” Reports from Monster ally told a lot of different tales about the monsters but none of them really looked like the dog bear from what she had heard. “So calm down, ok?” she said calmly, she wasn’t good at this sort of thing.
