“Sounds like an exciting summer.” commented Lorcan. He knew all too well the meaning of living with a wild family. Lorcan managed to find some free time to himself while the rest of the family when off to do whatever it was that they did. Most of the quality time Lorcan spent with his family was during quidditch matches. Lorcan was not terrible at quidditch, but his brother was a natural. Of course, their father always praised Lysander for being so great; the whole thing was really sickening to watch. Apparently, being Head Boy meant nothing to Lorcan’s parents. Despite the depressing lack of appreciation from his parents, Lorcan found other ways to occupy his time with; such as activities that he felt were much more important. His summer nights, for example, included a lot of sneaking around. It was not until recently that his grandfather caught the older twin sneaking back into the house around four in the morning. It was very unlikely that his grandfather remembered this, because Lorcan was never interrogated by his parents about where he was or what he was doing. As far as he could tell, he was in the clear.

Summer vacation aside, Lorcan raised an eyebrow as he wondered why such a bubbly girl like Molly wanted to know the whereabouts of the captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team, Griffin Huxley. Lorcan caught a hint of affection in Molly’s voice when she talked about Griffin and the way she looked through the crowds - Lorcan merely gave the red head a lopsided smile.

“Griffin Huxley?” said Lorcan in thought. “Afraid not.”

Lorcan was very familiar with Griffin, he considered him a friend even, but the captain of the Slytherin team was known for his reputation as a notorious lady’s man. Molly was like family; the sister he never had but would gladly replace with a brother. Even though Lorcan was not fond of his own family, he liked Molly enough to issue a warning to the little Weasley. If anything should happen to her, he might feel a little responsible for not helping her out.

“I’d be careful around Griffin if I was you, Molly.” said Lorcan as he stepped in closer to her, his voice lowered a little bit. “He’s the kind of guy that would eat you up.” He paused and smiled. “Unless you’re into that kind of thing.” With a playful wink, Lorcan stepped back and patted her arm.

“Anyway, what happened back there in that crowd? You look a little tired.” said Lorcan as he changed the subject. The one great thing about summer was staying up all night and sleeping in all day. The only problem with that sleeping schedule was the difficulty in getting back on track when school came around. Last night, he had trouble falling asleep. His restlessness had him tossing and turning in bed. Eventually he managed to fall asleep, but he did have some trouble waking up. Although, Lysander was the world’s most frustrating alarm clock and it proved to be an exciting morning. Lorcan’s face still hurt a little from the sucker punch he so lovingly received earlier that day.

“If you need to lay down a while, maybe I can talk to your Head Girl or Boy. I’m sure they would understand.” suggested Lorcan. He placed his hands in his pockets and laughed to himself, “I was going to suggest that you stay in my compartment with Lysander. But, if you were planning on napping, I would strongly not recommend it.”

The commotion surrounding the Ravenclaw began to turn faint. She could barely hear the clumps of students that from time to time would crowd near the compartment. The with was not focused on the ensuing conversation. She gently tap her book, itching to continue reading, as she heard the Slytherin answer. Megan took a moment to reply as she was surprised to see a Slytherin with a book in hand. It was an unlikely sight. The only other person she did see reading casually had been Lorcan Scammander. The boy she had just seen stroll down the train with a young boy. The train had yet to move or show any signs of moving any time soon and the ride was already amusing.

The girl's psyche was questioned for the first time. It was interesting to hear this as she never really explained her thoughts to many before.
"I'm sure a lucid stream of conciousness is relative when we live in a world where trees use branches as limbs and our headmistress can turn into a cat." Megan justified. The Ravenclaw had become so acostumed to being a metamorphagi that she left out the fact that she can morph her body at will. She could see how her words could be misunderstood, but she deemed comparing wizards to dogs completely normal. Some were pure of blood, others were mixed, but in the end they were still dogs.

The sound of her name was utterly shocking.
"Oh, you know my name already? I am honored!" Megan bluffed, sarcasm seeping through her words. The ends of her red lips curled before answering the Slytherin.
"You'd be surprised, hun." The girl chuckled. She began to think of all the Slytherins that had tried putting her down for being a muggle born. The Sorting hat didn't put Megan in Ravenclaw for no reason. She could thankfully fend for herself, not only with words, but with spells. She had quickly and efficiently learned much about different spells during her time in Hogwarts, particularly about hexes. At some point, she had become hex happy. Her mind drifted off to Slytherin boys in particular. She had been in a "relationship"(if you can call them that)-ahem-which had never worked out. Somehow, these boys believed that they could command her at will...which also seemed to be the problem with Gryffindors...and muggles. It was as if she was some sort of "bad boy magnet". She shook it off and turned to Viktoria.
"Well, we aren't in rivalring houses...maybe we could work some sort of acquaintanceship." She rose an eyebrow and looked her up and down once again. "I'm sure you'd prove to be useful at some point..." Megan didn't plan on hiding her true intentions or sprinkling them with fake humility. It just wasn't her style. Megan cracked open her book once more, she could't shake off the need to read this book.
Ooc: Sorry I took so long. XP
