◊ Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! If yor reading this then you have just found out that your mother or father is a Greek God or Goddess! We call children like you a "Half-Blood", or a Demigod, meaning part human, part God/Goddess. Naturally, many creatures will/are trying to kill you because of this fact. Never fear though, for this camp is here. This camp is here to protect the children of the Gods from the monsters that unfortunatly wish to kill you! Here's to another year at Camp Half-Blood!

◊ This is set in the present time and none of the other characters are alive anymore fo what ever reason unfortunty. A new generation has formed though! This is after Percy and his friends. Chiron and Dionysus are still camp directors though.

Rules


◊ You are allowed as many characters as you can control. Just make sure that you can handle them all

◊ You're only allowed to be the head of ONE cabin. Sorry. No exceptions.

◊ Romance and Fighting are encouraged! Bring on the monsters and demons! However, I'm sure you know when to stop. Please use common sense people!

◊ Semi-Literate and 3rd Person Posts kay people? It's not that hard, just at least one paragraph of five to seven sentences, just don't write a novel, kay? NO ONE LINERS AT ALL!

◊ Use "These" when talking, but think like this

◊ Make your posts pretty! Atleast a pic (Only anime) and your character's name, and their greek parent's name.

◊ No Godmodding. Doing so will be cause enough for me to add you to the gray list.

◊ Children from all Gods are accepted, this includes those of the Minor Gods, as per Jackson's request. Also, as a way to keep things interesting, the Camp has been expanded to include cabins for Children of Titans, as well as Cabins for visiting Roman Demigods.

◊ As a way to keep things simple, there will be no quests or prophecies. Just regular old Camp, fun.

◊ Not everyone will be able to be a child of the big three. Only two children will be allowed to be born of each of the three. To make things simpler, if you want to be a child of the big three then please send me a message making a request to reserve a slot under the appropriate cabin name.

◊ PM me your profiles and DO NOT post them in the thread, or you will not be accepted. No posting until I accept you, please.

Here is the current Cabin Listings. Due to Hera's firm belief that Adultery is a No-No, she doesn't have any demigod children, thus her cabin shall remain empty and be placed in a state of permanent honor. Also because Artemis is a Maiden and Virgin Goddess, her cabin is solely there to honor her and provide her Hunters a place to sleep in during the days they pass thru the camp.

If you wish to be the child of a Titan or God/Goddess not listed below feel free to ask me before making a profile. That way I can determine which powers the child will take over from their parent and how limited it is.

Note: The players placed in the Cabin Leader Slots, may ask me to place you in a different spot if you do not feel comfortable with bring in charge of your cabin mates.

Half-Blood Powers

So, you're a half-blood. Now what? Well, I'll tell you. Depending on what god or goddess is your mother or father, you have certain powers. Here is the list of what kind of powers you get. Some of the demigods have powerful abilities so be sure not to go over board.

Note: Will be adding more to the list upon further research regarding the powers of Titans and Minor Gods




Zeus/Jupiter
+ Aerokinesis: Can control and manipulate the air around them.
A} Can use this ability to ride the winds and fly.
B} Can be used to pick up objects, or push things back/away.
+ Atmokinesis: Ability to manipulate and control weather
A} Can Summon Up Storms.
B} Summon Rain Clouds.
+ Electrokinesis: Ability to control and manipulate Lightning and Electricity.
A} Withstand electrical shocks of any degree.
B} Can shock people when touched {Good ability for pranks}
C} Can summon bolts of lightning to strike their enemies.
D} Can also channel electrical energy into their weapons.
+Can talk to Eagles.

Poseidon/Neptune
+ HydroKinesis: Ability to control and manipulate water.
A} Breathe Underwater
B} By hardening the water around them, they can form shields to protect them from harm.
C} Higher Resistantance To Fire and Burns
D} When underwater, they can use telepathy to communicate with others.
E} Produce giant fists of water that can mimic the users movements.
F} Can use water to heal most wounds and poisons; as well as strengthen themselves.
G} Can telepathically communicate with horses, and other creatures similar to them; as well as all sea creatures, mythical and non-mythical.
H} Will themselves to stay dry when underwater.
I} Telekinetic Powers over boats and ships. Know exactly how to work them and what each part of the ship does.
+ Geokinesis: Limited Powers over Earth
A} Can create/produce earthquakes
+ Atmokinesis: Weather Manipulation
A} Can form small hurricanes for offense or defense.
+Cryokinesis: Limited ice manipulation
A} Can create an ice hurricane.

+ Chlorokinesis:
A} Make plants grow from ourt of nowhere. Make them quickly manifest from soil and wrap around enemies.
B} Able to Mutate plants by rearranging their DNA structures, and revive withering or dead plants.
C} Create bridges out of wood, or make vines to support/lift a person onto higher ground.
D} Weaponize plants by hitting and grasping the opponent with Roots, Vines, projecting thorns at a distance.
E} Release deadly toxins and Pheromones.

+ Enhanced Strength, Swiftness, and Combat Skills.
+ Experts in the use of every weapon known to man, and limited magical control over weapons.
+ Limited Necromancy: Bring back/Summon undead soldiers from the losing side of any wars.
+ Ability to curse their opponent's weapons.
+ Can Talk to Boars.

Athena
+ Experts in war strategies.
+ Highly skilled in armed and hand to hand combat.
+ Possess High Intellegence and Wisdom.
+ Know how to weave instinctively.
+ Can talk to Owls.

Apollo
+ Can heal people by singing a hymn to their father. {In Ancient Greek}
+ Expert Archers
+ Skilled in physical contests and games.
+ Excel in the arts, and skilled musicians.
+ Vitakinesis: Natural-Born Healers.
+ Photokinesis: Light Manipulation and Control. However, it is a rare ability to possess. {Thus I'll only allow the Cabin Leader to have this ability.}
A} Create illusions.
B} Form Light Shields/Force Fields
C} Project blasts of light to impale or blind enemies for a short time or forever.
D} Create a ball or shape of light to blast at a target.

xxxx As the morning sun rose and pierced through the windows of Zeus' Cabin, it began hitting the face of a young boy; causing him to turn over in his sleep, and fall off his bed with a startling yelp. Once he regained composure, the boy floated, using his abilities over air, over to another bed, currently being occupied by a young girl, and began to poke the girl in the cheek trying to wake her up. “Oi! Sis! Wake up! It's 6:30am, we need to hurry up and start cleaning the Cabin up, before inspections.” The boy shouted at his sister still trying to wake her up, but to no avail. So instead of trying to do the impossible, he began to clean up the cabin.

xxxx Though considering he kept his side completely clean and organized, the only areas that needed cleaning was his sister's side and his pet wolf's area which was located near the back of the room on the boy's side. After shooing his pet wolf, Raiden out of the cabin, the young boy began to clean up after his pet. Once finished, he floated back over to his sister's side and frantically began cleaning up; in all this entire process only took him about half an hour to complete. Now he had an hour to try waking his sister up, which always a pain to handle. So he quietly floated over to his sister's bedside and repeatedly poked her in the forehead, then when that didn't work he just decided to send over Raiden to lick her face.

Maya woke up to the sun blinding her and a wolf licking her face, leaving slobber everywhere. "Ughhhhh! Wha-" She stared at Raiden and Shūhei who where both chuckling at her. "Whhhyy would you do that?" She frowned wiping her face off and yawning. He shrugged and patted Raiden's head, praising him. She yawned and flipped off her brother kindly smiling with one eye open. "Love you too." Maya looked around the room quickly observing her surrounding. He already cleaned up for me? ...I guess I am not a morning person. She reached for her boots and slipped them on. She walked over to her brother who was playing with his pet. Maya smiled. Raiden always made him very happy. And if he was happy, then so was she. Maya sighed, "You know I hate waking up in the morning, Shū."

xxxx At the stroke of 7 am, a loud alarm began going off in the Apollo Cabin; this caused an attractive young man to quickly sit up in his bed, and gently shut off the alarm. The young man quietly stretched his arms above his head, then stood up and waked over to each of the windows to pull up each curtain, allowing the sun to shine on the faces of his siblings; some of whom immediately protested their brother's actions by either throwing a pillow at him or cussed at him, and others just calmly began stretching their muscles out and rubbed their eyes.

xxxx Once everyone was fully awake aside from their cabin leader, the young man began explaining who had which morning chore and thst they only had an hour to complete them, before inspections began. After that duty had been taken care of, he started helping everyone get the cabin ready for inspection. Just as they had finally finished cleaning the cabin, the alarm clock rang out loud, meaning it was now 7:50 am, and that inspections would begin in 10 minutes.

xxxx Spencer quietly woke up at about the same time as Jace did and since he always kept a clean cabin, he had no reason to tidy up the place before inspection. So instead he decided to take a quick swim in the lake; once he had on his swim trunks, Spencer walked over to the edge of the cabin that met the lake shore, and jumped in.

xxxx After a few laps around the lake, Spencer quickly made his way back to the cabin and pulled himself up onto the cabin floor. For a while he just sat there on the edge with his legs dangling off the side. Every so often, Spencer would whistle out loud as if calling out for someone. Then a couple of heads popped out of the water; each belonging to a different aquatic animal. One belonging to a Giant River Otter, whom Spencer named Ralph, and the of he belonged to a Harbor Seal, known as Gabe. Once the two critters were close enough, Spencer lightly pet their heads, and gave them some treats; before sending them off to have some fun. It was nearing 7:55 am by the time Spencer finally stood up from the edge of the Cabin's lakeside patio, and began getting dressed for the day.

xxxx Shū rolled his eyes at his sister's comment about her not being a morning person, then noticed that the clock on the wall of their cabin read 7:55am. This caused Shū to begin to panic and wonder if the cabin was clean enough, then he began to realize that he was still in his pjs. So a as quick as a cat, Shū rushed to his dresser and pulled out the day's clothes: a pair of grey cargo pants, his orange camp shirt, and his yellow hoodie. Ignoring his sister's protests, Shū quickly pulled off his pjs and replaced them with the day's clothes. Within seconds, the boy was fully dressed in cargo pants, an orange camp shirt, a yellow hoodie and his wrist watch, given to him by his father. “Oh, quit your whining! I'm done!” He announced as he dropped his pjs into a hamper next to the dresser. Shū then took notice that the clock now read 8am, meaning it was now time for Cabin Inspections and any minute now the cabin leader for Aphrodite Cabin would walk in here and take a look at his handiwork.

❝ Autumn opened her eyes and pouted at the ceiling, angrily squinting at the sun rays peeking through the wood. She could hear the others bustling but she didn't want to move. No one dared tell her to get up though; last time someone ripped her covers off of her, she spat acid at them without a second thought. Needless to say, the cabin leader wasn't really a morning person. The young woman groaned and rolled over, crawling out of bed. Siobhan rustled from the sheets and climbed down to the ground, sitting beside the bed. "Good morning," Autumn rasped as she reached down and pet her head, scratching her cheeks and under her chin. The leopard would often find her way into Autumn's bed when she passed through camp but the camper didn't mind. Waking up to the big cat was sometimes the best part of her day. She sat on the edge and rubbed her eyes but things were moving around her while she woke herself up. Vines were pulling her sheets back, opening up her drawers and gathering her things. Like a well oiled machine, her vines pushed and pulled at her will. Autumn reached over onto her bedside stand and grabbed Vitis, popping the cork with her thumb. She took a quick swig of the acid and then jumped up to change.

She slowly got out of her pajamas and into a black tank top, some khaki cargos and a pair of black and white high tops. She didn't expect to be doing much like always so she dressed casually and comfortably. Outstretching her hand, a vine dropped her brush into her hand and she sat on the edge of her now made up bed and started to brush out her hair. While silently taking care of her tresses, her vines completed their tasks and then retreated back into the ground through the floorboards from which they came. One however stayed behind and slithered its way onto her lap. Autumn focused on it and the vines started to bud before strawberries pushed their ways out of the green. Autumn pet the vine gently as she plucked them then sent the vine back just like the others. As she ate her strawberries, she stood and began giving instructions to the others in the cabin about their chores.

Autumn usually kept a clean cabin, often passing time with tidying things up so there really wasn't much for them to do. She was a lazy camper but a good cabin leader, patient and insightful despite her aloof attitude. She'd have the cabin ready for inspections in no time, perfect every morning simply because she didn't want anyone to have to linger afterwards. Either get it done right the first time or not at all. She oversaw the tidiness of the cabin then went to stand by her bed for inspections. Siobhan nuzzled against Autumn's leg and she offered the leopard a strawberry. Siobhan swallowed the fruit then laid down by the camper's feet, still a bit tired.
