She couldn't crying. The tears just wouldn't stop she couldn't make them stop. She stood there crying. The to her not knowing he hugged her. A little surprised he hugged her. she looked at him with tear stained eyes till she berry her faces in his huge spilling more tears. She listened to him, He might know her pain. But he didn't know the full story of it.

She would tell him some day, or tell some one ells someday. She didn't know she just wanted to rid her self of these tears. In all her years she has always told her pastiness to cry. It would always make them feel better. And you know It did. She felt better. When Die let hr go and smiled to her and fell over she couldn't help but giggle. Wiping her eyes with the sleeve of the shirt she looked at the glasses "Blind as a bat rant we?"

Carmen closed the window a little leaving a crack and cleaned up the papers for him. Then she became the wicked one "I wont give them back until you take your cloths off .." She said with a little sniffle from crying.

Dai laughed as he stood up. He rubbed the back of his head that he had smashed into his desk when he fell. Dai was always clumsy when his glass's where off. But then again he couldn't see a thing. He looked at what he guessed was a foggy Carmen but in reality it was just a lamp. He stood there smiling at the lamp and began to talk to it. "How am i supposed to change when i can't see an thing? By the way Carmen you look a little to thin. You should really eat." He said still talking to the lamp. Dai was smart but he easily got confused. Especially when he could barley see. Dai always made a fool of himself without his glass's.

He what had happened to Carmen in her past. Everyone had a little darkness in there heart's. Maybe one day she would open up and tell him. He would love that. He felt bad that she was so sad. "You know Carmen you can always come to talk to me if you want. I don't normally leave unless its raining. I have a bad habit of wondering in the rain." He said laughing.

Because its just a bedtime story.

Carmen sat there with the papers and glasses in hand. Watching this was a little bit funny to her. He was talking to a lamp "I'm over her Da'..." she said lightly. She smiled a little she listen and it made her smile more.

"Thank you Da'..." she said lightly to her self. This made her blush a light hue of pink. She was happy that she had a friend that would be there for her. Then she had an idea..kind.

"Alright come and find me then...." she scooted away from him and stood in the middle. Letting her bear feet pitter patter over the floor. "If you can find me Ill eat, and give you your glasses back. But you also have to change out of thoughts wet cloths....." She might as well have a little fun with him. She just hoped he didn't hurt him self to much.

Dai touched the lamp and laughed. "I was wondering why you looked so thin. Ok I'll play your game." He said holding his hands out. He began to walk around slowly laughing a little. A real smile on his face which was rare for Dai. "This is really unfair i hope you know." He said walking little by little. He crashed into his desk a few times and kept thinking the lamp was Carmen. The rain pounded on in his ears but he was amused. He listened for Carmen but the rain was much to loud and the heater just added to the noise. "So Carmen why does the rain make you think of death? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. But i find when you tell someone something that bugs you a weight lift's off your shoulders." He said smiling at the lamp again. He grabbed the lamp and sighed. "Lamp...again."

Because its just a bedtime story.

She giggled a little "I know, but its rather amusing for me" she was a little wicked. But come one this was rally amusing. She propped herself agents the wall and watched . She smirked a little more "Try moving away from your work area..." she told him in giving him a hint.

She listens to the rain and sighed lightly "Because it was raining when Joe died..." she started. She giggled again when he grabbed the lamp again "Hint again I am not a lamp.."

She watched a little and stayed quiet . the Rain drained out her sounds unless she spoke that was all she gave off " He was a detective...It was raining on...well It was raining when we where walking home from dinner. A man that he knew to well greeted us in the park...He shot us both but Joe fought.....But..He..he..." she covered her mouth just thinking of it hurt .

She sighed and wiped her eyes she didnt want to cry again but the tears came again. They just wanted out again. "Lamp again Da'"

Dai listened to her closely. He understood that she was sad. She lost someone special and she was powerless to stop it. He understood clearly since he had been in a situation when he couldn't save a loved ones life. He stood there for a few seconds then all off a sudden he reached out and walked forward. His hand landed on Carmen's head and he smiled. "Do you really think Joe would want to see you sad? Or would he rather see you smile? Because i rather see you smile." He said taking his glass's back and putting them back on. "No one really dies. Since they go on leaving right here." He said putting his hand over his heart. He took her hands in his then pulled her over to his desk. "Now you have to eat since that was the deal" He said not giving up on her eating.

She blushed again when he took her hand again. She was blushing a lot today but why? was her question to herself.

She smiled lightly " No.. he would want me to smile more....And sing .." she sighed.

Carmen pouted to her self when he took her hand and turned his back. He cheated, where her thoughts. But sighed as she wiped the tears away "Oh fine, but you have to change out of thoughts wet cloths...your shoes are making that wet squishy sound, and you don't want root rot because your wearing wet shoes and socks..." she pointed out to him.

She sat her self and placed the papers down and placed the phone on them so they wouldn't blow away again. Taking the bento she opened it and looked at what he made. This would be the first time she ate something like this really.

Dai sighed. "You sing do you? I would love to listen if your ever up for it." He said watching the rain. He noticed Carmen seemed to turn a little red every now and again. He hoped she wasn't sick. He put his hand on her forehead. She felt fine to him. He wondered why though. He also wondered who Joe was. A past lover,a brother, a friend? But it wasn't any of his business.

He walked to the wall closet and pushed the door open. The reason no one knew about the closet was because it had more then just clothes in it. It had a few of Dai's personal things. He found it when he was cleaning the clinic when he first got here. Who ever was the doctor before him must of had some kind of secret. He changed his clothes into almost the same outfit he had on earlier. Only this shirt was short sleeve. He put on another white coat and walked out. He saw her looking at the bento and smiled. "I used to eat that kind of thing for lunch everyday. The rice is the best part if you ask me." He said smiling.

The Stranger

Nikoru was still laying fainted under the tree soaking wet. When he was in the world of his dreams he saw a nightmare he didn't want to see. He saw something bad and hurtful from past. He saw his father beating him up without a reason so hard he almost died. He saw his father drunk screaming to him like frantic:

- Get up, you klutz! I'm gonna teach you what means a true discipline and being a man - Niko's father screamed when he smashed him with a whip at his head
- Please, daddy, stop!! - he was crying and begging father to stop this massacre - Daddy, I'm sorry, I love you, I promise to be a better son!
- B******t!! - father yelled when he grabbed his wet of tears face and threw him strongly into the wall - You are just a little f****t and you always gonna be! I am so ashamed of you! I never wanted to have you!
- Dad, why you say this? What did I made so wrong to you? - he screamed while crying, he felt like his father gonna kill him
- You were born, this is what you did to me! - father yelled as he suddenly nailed his hands to the wall by the knifes

Scream of fainting from pain and dying child filled the house of Takashi's family. He didn't know how come he stood alive, someone saved him but he doesn't know to these days who. After 10 years Nikoru came back to house and did something he was proud of at beginning and now he hates himself for that. He came back to house his dad and him used to live. Mother welcomed him very coldly.

- Look who's back! Our Judas son who betrayed us and left without a word. What you gonna do now? Tell us how bad we were?

He noticed his father coming to him with a belt. He was irritated and impulsive his family hated him so much. He released his offensive chakra and teleportated behind the father choking him with his own belt. Mother scream terrified and his father was shocked.

- So, who is f****t now, you old p***k? - Niko laughed deviously as he was choking him harder and harder
- Nikoru, please, stop! - his dad screamed begfully in fear
- Sure, no problem - he put his hand on back and pulled into father big hitting field causing him flying into wall so fast he broke it

His dad was running away terrified when Nikoru just went outdoor and pointed his fingers into him. Huge wave of solar beam reached his father and burnt him alive. His mother layed on the floor crying hardly and trembling of fear

- Now you, the mother of sinners - he laughed hardly when he pulled her by apron up from ground and raised her so high she couldn't reach the ground
- No, please, baby, what did I do to you? Your father was a bad person, not me - she cried hardly
- What you did wrong to me? You gave me life and born me in this freaky, stinky hospital - he said as he pulled dagger straightly into her heart

After that he left house. He glanced at it the last time and burnt it with his dead mother's body inside. He was going back into his travel when the house was burning behind his back.

When Nikoru saw this in his dreams he screamed through dream and woke up terrified. He was soaking wet laying on the ground, paralysed, he couldn't move any part of his body. Even the fact rain was falling on him it's not the rain caused his forehead and face wet. It was sweat. Sweat of fear, guiltiness and loneliness

(OOC: sorry for this post, I know it may be boring, however I was laying unconcious uner the tree so what else I could post? I made it to show another chapter of Nikoru's past life. Of course nobody except himself knows his past life stories as he didn't tell it to anyone, everything was told inside his head)

She blushed again. She was warm but his hand was cool. It felt nice.

"No I'm looking at these little things" she said picking up the sushi "What is it?" she asked. She did eat the rices. It was cold but she didn't mind it. It was good but she didn't know about the little roll things. She ate a little bit. She wasn't really hungry. All she wanted to do was sleep.

Hearing the request she blushed again "I...I'm not really confident in singing infrunt of people.." she told him as she ate.

Allen and his fellow not-sleepers made their way to the doors of the Inn as they headed off to go deliver John to his job. Allen himself did not grab an umbrella, his only preparation for going out into the rain being to tie his long hair back in a hasty braid. As a lover of gloom and gray, Allen liked the rain, and the more torrential the better. It stopped movement in an otherwise lively town and returned things to a kind of impenetrable stillness, and he liked that. On such days, he would make a point to go on a walk through Rainbow Valley's empty streets and revel in how still everything was.

More than death, Allen was a fan of dichotomies, intricacies. The small bit of scientist in his heart marveled at how something could go from one state to a completely different one in a relatively short matter of time. A living person could die in the matter of seconds. A thriving town could be put to sleep by the rain. Even if it wasn't professionally, the undertaker liked to study these differences. Mixed with his other morbid fascinations and his abrupt nature and Allen wasn't the towns most likable guy.

Evidence of this was then shoved in his face as he, John and Sai exited the bar, bumping into three figures on the way out.

Oh great, Allen thought, kids. It was the mayor's daughter he noticed first due to her gasp and utter look of terror on her face. Okay, really. Why was everyone afraid of him? He was a nice guy? Allen managed to only slightly sigh, as he crossed his arms and tried to offer the girl a wide, reassuring smile. He didn't like kids, it was true, but he wasn't the sort to let his opinion of a group get in the way of individual assessment. He typically disliked children on the grounds that they were whiny, loud and too rambunctious for his more subdued nature, but the mayor's daughter was a level headed sort who managed to act very adult when the situation called for it. If he squinted and tilted his head to the side and looked at her through rose colored glasses, she was an interesting parallel all to her self, at once child and adult, and if he looked at it that way, he could tolerate her.

His eyes then ventured to the rest of the group, his eyes falling first on the new man, one of whom he could not recall meeting before. Continuing in his observations, he ventured a look at the last member of the group and promptly froze as he saw GiGi.

"G-g-good afternoon, Miss." He attempted to greet her, tacking on quickly after wards a "sir and little miss," so that it did not appear that he was singling her out. "L-lovely weather we're having." He inwardly winced. First of all, 'weather' was probably the lamest conversation starter on the planet. Second, even he knew that most people were adverse to rainy weather and that he was pretty much alone in reveling it in. He promptly shut his trap and decided to save some face by keep silent, pointedly looking at some speck of air off to the side.

Dai smiled as he took one of the sushi out of the bento. He popped it in his mouth and ate it. He swallowed and chuckled. "It's sushi. Raw fish wrapped in rice and sea weed. It's really good. And those rolls are just eggs. I don't like eggs so i don't eat them." he said smiling. He looked out at the rain and listened to it. "You don't have to if you don't want to. I don't normally sing either. I like to hum with the rain though. If you listen enough the world makes beautiful unnoticed music." He said smiling.

Because its just a bedtime story.
