• THERE ARE THINGS I REGRET, THAT YOU CAN'T FORGIVE, YOU CAN'T FORGET
xxxDESTRUTIVE↭SEMI-MUTE
Olive flipped and tossed and turned all over in her bed. Her room was on the sixth floor, and for some reason the heat was not rising fast enough. She was curled up in her bundle of blankets at pillows, like a protective fort around her fragile body. Her skin was overflowing with Goosebumps, and she felt her skin, it was cold to the touch and she swore that she'd be able to see her breath if she looked hard enough. Getting fed up with not being able to sleep anymore due to the fact her body was turning to ice. Olive loved winter, it was her second favorite season, it came in a close second right behind fall, the best season of the year. It also held the best month of the year, October. Her blankets and most of her pillows were now on the floor due to her thrashing and movement. Sitting up quickly and giving a sharp turn to the form beside her in the other bed. It was her roommate; they were an odd one, like everyone in this place. All she knew about him was that their age and addicted issue, or at least that's what she had gathered. They had never once exchanged words before. They had interacted and communicated, but Olive hadn't allowed him to hear her voice not even a squeak.
Olive was a semi mute, which was odd to hear, she couldn't speak but at one point in her life she'd been able too. Well truth be told she CAN speak, but for some reason when she tries nothing comes out so she gave up trying. It's something she's working on. The only people she'd found that she could even muster her words out were her friend 'Barrel and Lock' and a few other patients here. Even one or two of the doctors. They had been slowly getting her to regain her speaking ability. She'd lost it a couple years ago during a prank she and the gain had gone. It was kind of ironic that all three of them ended up in the same place, this stupid facility. Barrel being the last one to arrive, and lock the first one between them. Here eyes went into a squinted glare as she looked over towards the flashing lights of her alarm clock, it was way too early to be up. She needed her beauty sleep. Usually the teen wouldn't be up until around noon at the latest. Her roommate seemed to sleep forever, or at least she though they did, her attention never stayed on them long. She wasn't even in her room that much always out and about. Only returning when it was time to sleep usually. Sliding of the edge of her bed, leaving her blankets and pillows everywhere in the room, it always looked like a tornado came through the area when she left in the mornings, and every time she came back it would always get messed up again. The girl was full of destruction where ever she went.
Walking across the room in silence she pulled back the curtain that was in front of the sliding doors that led to a balcony, just enough to look through but not let too much light in. Her eyes automatically closed, it was too hard to keep them open, and the shine off the white snow was too much for them. Letting the curtain fall closed again and she turned around. Standing in her spot letting her eyes readjust to the limited light in her own room. A scowl of sorts on her complection as she slowly fumbled her way back to her side of the room and her closet, pulling out a greenish blue checkered dress, and slipped on a pair of holy legging under that. Her feet quickly slipped into a pair of shoes and her earring and two rings were applied after that. Her look screamed summer, but Olive wore summer clothes all year around. She knew how to make them warmer when it was needed and it she wasn't planning on going outside so she didn't need to worry. Usually the building was kept warm everywhere else but her room it felt like. She blamed the roommate she had, what was their name again even? It didn't matter to her too much.
Looking around her room quickly, giving it a quick scan just to make sure she wasn't leaving anything she might want. It was a pain having to come all the way back up, even if there was an elevator. Olive was slightly scared of being in elevators alone, though she never told anyone so when she wasn't around anyone she'd take the stairs. This was the exact thing she was getting ready to do. Walking down the hallway, which was dimly lit but still warmer than her own room she noticed right away. Reaching the end side of the hall, she tore open a heavy metal door and started to make her way down the stairs, almost skipping along. At least going down was faster and took less effort on her part. On her way down to the ground floor, she wondered who would be up by now; she knew Darren sometimes got up early, so maybe she had a chance of meeting up with him. She'd heard rumors to about Lock being locked up, so seeing him didn't look good for now.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs finally she was slightly breathing harder but not by much, slipping past the door and looking around to find familiar faces and voices. Walking towards the living room area, she peered around the corner, but didn’t see anyone familiar, so sadly Olive made her way to the black leather couches and took a seat. She’d wait for someone she knew to come and that way they could get food for her too. Not feeling like playing, the pointing game.
