Olive flipped and tossed and turned all over in her bed. Her room was on the sixth floor, and for some reason the heat was not rising fast enough. She was curled up in her bundle of blankets at pillows, like a protective fort around her fragile body. Her skin was overflowing with Goosebumps, and she felt her skin, it was cold to the touch and she swore that she'd be able to see her breath if she looked hard enough. Getting fed up with not being able to sleep anymore due to the fact her body was turning to ice. Olive loved winter, it was her second favorite season, it came in a close second right behind fall, the best season of the year. It also held the best month of the year, October. Her blankets and most of her pillows were now on the floor due to her thrashing and movement. Sitting up quickly and giving a sharp turn to the form beside her in the other bed. It was her roommate; they were an odd one, like everyone in this place. All she knew about him was that their age and addicted issue, or at least that's what she had gathered. They had never once exchanged words before. They had interacted and communicated, but Olive hadn't allowed him to hear her voice not even a squeak.

Olive was a semi mute, which was odd to hear, she couldn't speak but at one point in her life she'd been able too. Well truth be told she CAN speak, but for some reason when she tries nothing comes out so she gave up trying. It's something she's working on. The only people she'd found that she could even muster her words out were her friend 'Barrel and Lock' and a few other patients here. Even one or two of the doctors. They had been slowly getting her to regain her speaking ability. She'd lost it a couple years ago during a prank she and the gain had gone. It was kind of ironic that all three of them ended up in the same place, this stupid facility. Barrel being the last one to arrive, and lock the first one between them. Here eyes went into a squinted glare as she looked over towards the flashing lights of her alarm clock, it was way too early to be up. She needed her beauty sleep. Usually the teen wouldn't be up until around noon at the latest. Her roommate seemed to sleep forever, or at least she though they did, her attention never stayed on them long. She wasn't even in her room that much always out and about. Only returning when it was time to sleep usually. Sliding of the edge of her bed, leaving her blankets and pillows everywhere in the room, it always looked like a tornado came through the area when she left in the mornings, and every time she came back it would always get messed up again. The girl was full of destruction where ever she went.

Walking across the room in silence she pulled back the curtain that was in front of the sliding doors that led to a balcony, just enough to look through but not let too much light in. Her eyes automatically closed, it was too hard to keep them open, and the shine off the white snow was too much for them. Letting the curtain fall closed again and she turned around. Standing in her spot letting her eyes readjust to the limited light in her own room. A scowl of sorts on her complection as she slowly fumbled her way back to her side of the room and her closet, pulling out a greenish blue checkered dress, and slipped on a pair of holy legging under that. Her feet quickly slipped into a pair of shoes and her earring and two rings were applied after that. Her look screamed summer, but Olive wore summer clothes all year around. She knew how to make them warmer when it was needed and it she wasn't planning on going outside so she didn't need to worry. Usually the building was kept warm everywhere else but her room it felt like. She blamed the roommate she had, what was their name again even? It didn't matter to her too much.

Looking around her room quickly, giving it a quick scan just to make sure she wasn't leaving anything she might want. It was a pain having to come all the way back up, even if there was an elevator. Olive was slightly scared of being in elevators alone, though she never told anyone so when she wasn't around anyone she'd take the stairs. This was the exact thing she was getting ready to do. Walking down the hallway, which was dimly lit but still warmer than her own room she noticed right away. Reaching the end side of the hall, she tore open a heavy metal door and started to make her way down the stairs, almost skipping along. At least going down was faster and took less effort on her part. On her way down to the ground floor, she wondered who would be up by now; she knew Darren sometimes got up early, so maybe she had a chance of meeting up with him. She'd heard rumors to about Lock being locked up, so seeing him didn't look good for now.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs finally she was slightly breathing harder but not by much, slipping past the door and looking around to find familiar faces and voices. Walking towards the living room area, she peered around the corner, but didn’t see anyone familiar, so sadly Olive made her way to the black leather couches and took a seat. She’d wait for someone she knew to come and that way they could get food for her too. Not feeling like playing, the pointing game.

Living in Citricos facility wasn't too bad, at least it wasn't for the twenty year old female, who had been here for about seven years since she was fourteen years old, when she started in with depression and later turned out she was also a sex addict. This was why it was slightly funny she was rooming with a guy, not to mention a very good looking guy. The only problem was he was one they’d have her on watch even in her room at times. That didn't stop her trying though, Rizzo would also do slightly things she thought might get at him or maybe even get herself a little attention. Like every single night she'd go to sleep fully clothes and half way through the night she'd accidently lose all of her clothes and wake up nude. Just to see how he would react to it all, it was like a game. She knew his schedule in the room, and would often take her baths and showers right when she knew he'd be coming back into the room. Walking around naked or even sometimes attempting to get him into the bath with her. Rizzo wasn't really trying to fix her little sex addiction; she was more focused on her depression. For now at least, one thing at a time.

When she wasn't out having fun and flirting with every person she saw no matter age or gender, she would usually be cooped up in her room all day, with no motivation to do anything, only to stare at a wall. She did have a job, at the local library but since being admitted she changed her hours to more volunteer then to full time. She didn't like having to try to go in on those days that her depression hit her the most. Like one of the days was this exact day, laying cooped up and completely covered by her blankets, she had been laying awake for hours but only managed to stare at the door to her room as she sighed every now and then at nothing. Rizzo loved being on the third floor, her room was huge and it was beautiful. With as much effort as she could muster up, she pulled her naked body out from under the covers and slinked her way to the other side of the room, pushing open the two large doors that led to their bathroom, turning the water on for the shower and letting the liquid hear up before slipping inside and shutting the door behind her.

"I don't want to even leave my room today." Her voice was raspy with the morning as she leaned against the cold wall of the shower and just let the water pour against her skin. Not to mention it was winter now, her least favorite time of the year, Rizzo was one who loved to be outside all day and enjoying nature and animals, but with winter and snow, she couldn't do that as much. It was always a cause for a grumpy mood. Slowly pushing herself off the now slippery wall, she reached out for all the soaps and shampoos washing her body and her hair, tapping her fingers against the wall as she thought in wonder. She'd never brushed her teeth in the shower before, like people sometimes used to do in movies. Standing in the water she debated wither or not to try out this strange thing, but in the end didn't do it, shutting off the water instead. As soon as the water stopped making contact with her body, her skin was crawling with Goosebumps as the colder air hit her skin, shivering quickly and she opened the door and reached for a towel. Stepping out of the shower and onto the rug out front.

Here brown eyes searched the room a bit, looking for nothing in particular. Stepping away from the rug and the shower with the towel wrapped around her slim body hugging all her curves. She wasn't ashamed of her body and didn't care who saw her naked or where she was. Walking to her dresser and pulling out different drawers and articles of clothing to put on. Slipping her towel from her body and drying off more, dressing and then putting on her brown jeans, grey boots, shirt and then it was back to the bathroom. First stop the sink, pulling back the mirror and taking out her toothbrush and tooth paste, going at her pearly whites before making a attempt to dry her hair, Rizzo wasn't one for blow dryers and kept to the air dried style. Unless she was in a big hurry which she was not. Sighing again at her reflection this time before slipping out of the bathroom and grabbing a pencil and her sketch book, pull of sketched of animals and outdoor scenery. Flopping on her bed, she had wanted to try and sketch some more, but all feeling was gone, so instead she continued to lay on her stomach into of her unmade bed in silence.

Darren snuggled in to his blankets as he felt the cold air hit him. He was never one for the cold which might explained why he always wore long sleeve shirts and pants to bed as anything under 70 degree's was far too cold for him to stand. As he slowly started to wake up more he peeked outside his blankets towards the window. When seeing white power like substance falling from the sky the boy place a grin on his face. He suddenly threw back the blankets from off of him and tired his best to get out of the bed slowly." It's snowing!" He suddenly yelled at the top of his lungs. Seeing snow for the youth was a rare sight as he use to live in California in San Jose. It rare snowed in the large city and even if it did it would never last long. If anything he mostly got hail which was too bothersome for his taste. ' And now I'm in this messed up place,..' He thought as his smile fade and forced his body to get away from the window. He quickly made his way over to his closet and took out very simple clothing to wear for the day. He quickly changed in to his clothing and looked at himself in the mirror. He wore his normal skeleton layout sweatshirt and a pair of torn at the knee's jeans. His combat boots where snug on his feet and two white wrist bands where placed comfortable on his skin.

When he was satisfied the boy simply nodded his head with the same grin on his face and made his way out of his room. Darren had just arrived this year as he parents where catching on to his odd behavior. The learn disability was nothing strange as most children had it now a days, especially with numbers. He of course had trouble with remembering things and wrote some letters and numbers backwards which was all caught on early. However his eating disorder and strange rebellion took his parents off guard. His freshmen year of high school took a tole on the young boy as he was suddenly bullied for being too "fat" and having a "baby face." He took the harassment fairly well until his eating disorder started. Thanks to it his throat tissue was slowly starting to break down. Lucky for him his parents saw him coughing up blood and took him straight to the hospital. Everyone found out on what he did and go figure they sent him to the looney bin for 'help'.

The boy made his way in to the kitchen and saw then one of the older staff member's where handing out ice cream cones to the kids his age. His eyes seemed to light up at the thought of such a random treat on such a cold day that he couldn't help but to get excited over the sheer thought of having some. He quickly made way over to the adult and watched for his favorite type of ice cream: Strawberry. He watched with fascination as the flavors where being passed over however when seeing there was no strawberry the child could only have his left eye twitch. " There's nothing as good as strawberry. Nothing. " He muttered while shaking his head 'no' then turned his attention to the counter. He saw a few cups of hot chocolate, making a small smirk appear on his face. " Except maybe,.. That!" He said to himself while walking over to the counter and stood on his tip toes to reach the cups. He didn't care who made it or who it was for. All hew knew was that he wanted some. The child grabbed the glass then made his way out of the kitchen quickly, not wanting to draw any attention to himself. He made his way to the back of the hospital and went straight to the living room. It was just early enough for no one to be up yet which made him smile. It was the one advantage of waking up early in the morning.

The boy couldn't help but to smile more as his closer friend Olive or "Shock" was in the main room. The girl never seemed to speak to anyone unless it was him or Lock but two never asked why. They both figured that everyone should keep at least on secret in this place and she wanted to hide her voice from the others in this looney bin then that was her choice. " So more people are here and joining out lovely community but they all appear to have a stick up their asses. Maybe these people need more candy or something. Something delicious and then break stuff. Shatter! Boom! It will be tones of fun! " He said with a grin now forming on his face. The boy did love his disruption and loud sounds. It was just something he enjoyed in life.

He took a seat on a couch and started to take a few sips of the coco. He enjoyed the burning of the liquid going down his throat, and sat in silence. Most teenagers his age would have hated it but for some reason he just tended to enjoy being alone. His feet kicked back and forth as he could barley touch the ground when he sat down the chair. He took another sip of the coco with a smile on his face, feeling smug that he got away with free coco. As he waited for the girl to he couldn't help but to let his mind wounder on his friends. His friend "Lock" was always a sly boy who was the leader of the gang. He was the devil and it didn't help that most females loved the male because of his charms. Of course he had heard that the other male was locked away in the main room right now, something about causing a bit of madness a few floors down. " Maybe they need to be locked in with us for a bit, just an hour, or maybe just with Lock. Or the main man," He said, allowing a shiver to run down his spin. The main boss was never to be spoken of as the man was sadistic. He was happy he hadn't heard of him for so long and maybe they would stay lucky.

During the night Hyung Seok had woken up here and there to only stare out his window looking up at the stars singing “Twinkle twinkle little skunk, how I wonder if you're drunk!” after singing the same line about three to four times he slowly laid back down to only yank the sheets over his head to only sigh. Closing his eyes shut he just imagined himself shrinking and growing a tail before hoping inside of a teapot to only burn himself but after a few minutes he didn’t feel a thing which was when he started to drink non-stop. Smiling, Hyung Seok had just fell asleep without any more troubles and that lead to using the sleeping pills less than usual. If he was up walking around at night the staff would be chasing him down the halls before cornering him. He ended up being in a corner swinging his arms around as if they were swords shouting “Run…Alice!” the staff was confused when he kept mentioning the other patient but they were able to hold him down. He was dragged back to his room to only be forced to take the sleeping pills. He had been soaked completely since the first time he avoided drinking the first cup of water. One of the staff had changed him into dry clothes before gently rubbing his back which he faced towards her. He kept complaining how they were so mean to him and that he didn’t want to talk to her before rambling about tea and sleeping. She had left once she knew he was asleep.

When morning came he had woke up to only stretch his entire body. “Morning time!” he shouted rather loud before getting out of bed to only head for the bathroom to only stop and look at himself in the mirror confused on what he was planning to do. Sitting on the counter he just started to scratch his head before glancing at the toilet ball and the water inside of it. “I remember!” he yelled while yanking his shirt off his back and dropping his pants. Jumping into the shower he just sat down as the water hit him. He couldn’t help but feel like his dream was coming true. Opening his mouth he caught all the droplets before gulping it down. After a little while he stepped out of the shower to put on a rather long shirt. The sleeves had gone past his hands and his pants tended to drop but he would pull it up. All dressed Hyung Seok looked at himself in the mirror to only feel like something was missing. Returning back to his dresser he dug around before finding a pink bow. Taking it in his hands he then tied it around his neck but not too tight. Making his way back to the mirror he just gave a thumbs up to himself before leaving the room.

Looking around Hyung Seok just stopped here and then to only forget what he was doing just to stare at the snow. “I wonder..” he pondered before rushing away to only find himself in the kitchen to only take whatever he was given. The ice cream treat was way too cold for his tasting so he just pushed it back into the staff members hand asking for something warm like tea. The staff member had come back with a pot of tea which he took along with a mug. “Mine!” he sang as he rushed away with the staff member chasing him. He had rode the elevator down to the main floor to only spot dear Alice and the Hare with Mrs. Sooh the women who he seemed to be a bit nervous around. Making his way towards the front desk to only hide. He poured himself a cup before placing the pot down on the rug. Taking a few sips he then just dumped the mug into the trash to only be grabbed by the hand of one of the staff who had started to scold him before taking the stuff away. He just frowned and kept pulling away an when the staff let go he just dashed towards the group of three to only stand a few inches beside Mrs. Sooh. "Gooooood morni..ng Mrs. Soooooh!," he stuttered as he greeted the older women. His parents were always telling him to be respectful and be on his best behavior. They always slapped his hands when ever he would reach for the kettle when it started to whistle. His mom would only shout "That's dangerous!" and his dad would only yank his collar and take him to the living room to turn the television on so he would be busy.

"Did yoooou sleeep we...ll?" he asked as he kept rubbing his hands together while staring down at his feet before looking over to the Hare and the window. He had wondered how the guy was able to do such a thing without freaking out like Hyung Seok who would slip and fall. His last home his parents had to make sure he didn't come down the stairs without one of them helping him down or he'd stumble over his feet and fall down the steps. Last time he twisted his foot the wrong way and they had to take him to the hospital. He did not like the idea of a needle being injected into him so sleeping gas was one way before doing the procedure. He woke up causing a fit till one of the nurses came over to only calm him down which was when his mother realized that she had no patience for Hyung and that someone watching over him would be best or she might end up hurting her son and she hated the fact that he would sometimes hide from her and it hurt her knowing that her only child was afraid of her.

"china Fina Lina, Rina, Kina." Alice was trying to think of words that rhyme with china. "Im pretty sure non of those work..." she said to herself. "Dinah! stop being a Kina!" she thought of. "no...but that rymes too." she said to herself. Alice stopped thinking for a second. Sometimes she thought that her mind would explode with all the thinking she did. So she just shut her mind up (By literally saying 'Oh shut up mind') and looked at the snow. Every snow flake was unique...that what her mother told her. So would the people here be the most crazy looking snow flakes? She leaned out a bit. Not paying any mind to the large drop that came from falling out. Her hand stretched out, Her legs lifting up a bit as she did so. She felt the cold flakes fall on her arm, melting at the warm touch of her skin. She stayed like that till a snowflake fell exactly in the middle of her palm. Bringing it back in, she looked at the small water puddle in the middle of her hand. The snowflake had melted before she could see it! " Alice you need to wear more dresses or you might be late, " Alice twirled around in a full circle. Trying to find the source of the voice. It was most definently the Nied. "Nied where are you?" she asked. looking out the window again. Turning to face the sky she smiled brightly at him. Sitting on the window edge, her back facing the world. Her feet swinging inside. Her head looking at the boy who she had tea with in her dreams.

Alice thought about what he said for a moment. "Why would more dresses make me on time? The clock said I could bend time if I was on good terms with this one person." she said. Though she did wish she had more dresses. Her mother never liked the ones she picked out. Hearing about those strange pills, she nodded in understanding. "I was just planning to shut myself up like a telescope, but I suppose pills could make me smaller too." Answered the young girl. At the mention of staying perfect, she smiled a half hearted smile. Was it possible to stay perfect? It seemed quite hard. Too hard. "I've decided im too stay Medium - High Average." she said to him.

A new voice came into the picture. The voice of there caretaker miss Sooh. Alice jumped a bit in surprise, and fell back a bit. Catching the window with her hand just in time. "she's just as bad as the clock!"Alice thought to herself. Hopping back in, Alice looked down towards her feet innocently. She rocked back and forth answering. "Morning Sooh" Alice certainly didnt say anything about the guy on the roof. She wasnt going to tattle so easly. "Tattle, fattle, cattle, rattle" she said as she watched miss sooh try to figure out who was on the roof. "Mrs. Sooh is a fattle....no that dosent work..." she said outloud. She smiled (A bit mischeviously) and began to hum again.

The march hare finally came in, his expression sad. It made Alice sad to see a person she had made conversation with ( in dreams and out of dreams ) sad. How he acted made him seem smaller...or was that just the pills? The snow began to melt into his pants and shirts, also making his hair shimmer like dew in grass. Looking at sooh, she couldnt help but picture her being the queen of hearts. Or was she? she did wear red! The subject was debatable. For Sooh didnt behead people. She would be seen putting the heads back on actually! Looking from sooh to Nied, she put her own opinion in. "I think he's telling the truth." he did cross his heart. "Now Tea sounds very good right now..." she said, her voice drifting at the end as she looked around the room.

The smell of tea filled her nose. She could smell tea from a mile away. Her head looked towards the source, and she smiled at who she saw. It was Hyung! Though seeing that he only had one mug, she frowned slightly. Who would bring one cup to a tea party? "Hey! Hold it!" said a staff member. Who then began to take Hyungs stuff and scold the boy. Alice found herself walking behind Hare, Slightly afraid of the large staff member. In her mind the Staff member shimmered, morphed, then turned into a creppy looking Card with a face and escential body parts. The worst part of all of it, was that he took the tea with him! "I dont like the card people..." she whispered to Nied. If Sooh was listening then so be it. When the man left, she relaxed a bit. Hyung ran over to them, and she gave him a half hearted smile. "Heyy Mouse." Said Alice with a wave. He had mouse ears and a tail in her dreams. So she called him mouse. Though she wasnt sure if he knew why she called him mouse.
( Location: Looking out a window ) (Wearing: This!) (Orignal Organic Combustion: Nadda )

She could hear them. The voices of the old ones were always whispering in her ears. She was the only one that heard their calls. The voices spoke all at once and in a language she didn’t recognize, but they were always speaking. The doctors said this was part of her Schizoaffective disorder. They said that the things that only she saw and heard were just hallucinations. Maiara, or Maia as she preferred to be called, knew better. There was more than just her mind playing tricks on her. She could feel it deep in her body and soul, this blue glow that she associated with the old ones, sometimes seemed to engulf her whole body. When this happened it was as if she was outside of herself, watching what she was doing, but having no control. The doctors claimed this was the Depersonalization disorder she suffered from. Maia claimed it was the old ones. It was always the old ones. She didn’t understand their words, but she did understand what they wanted from her. It was a sort of underlying understanding of their meaningless words.

Today the old ones asked something small of her. They wanted her to go to the pool for a swim. She wasn’t sure she was allowed to be in the pool without supervision, what if she drowned? But Maia would never drown. Perhaps that was a bit of an overstatement, everyone could drown, but Maia seemed to have a marvelous lung capacity. She wasn’t setting world records or anything but she could certainly beat out most of the other patients. However, none of this was of any importance since the young lady had yet to move from her bed. She could hear the voices, they were always just there, now they were pleading with her to rise from her cocoon of sheets. She didn’t want to. Getting out of the bed just didn’t seem that appealing to Maia today. It wasn’t the people, the people never bothered Maia, it was the weather. Snow and rain made Maia want to stay in bed wrapped in her blankets. But the voices continued, she had to get up, they would just get louder until she finally moved.

Maia pulled herself from the covers, leaving the bed a mess, and moved into the bathroom. She managed to sneak in the shower and dry off before the knocking on the door started. “I’ll be out in two!” She called. Maia quickly pulled on her undergarments, a cream colored sweater, a dark blue pair of boyfriend jeans, and some black flats. She rushed out of the bathroom, flashing a smile to the knocker as she hurried on. Maia dropped her old clothes on the floor by the foot of her bed, figuring they’d be picked up later, and grabbed her crystal necklace off the beside table she shared with her roomie. Everyone here knew not to touch Maia’s necklace, if someone even looked at it the wrong way she wasn’t above throwing a punch or two, so she felt safe just leaving it out. Slipping the necklace around her neck and lifting her slightly damp hair up and out of the chain she worked her way down from the second floor to the main floor. This floor seemed to be a buzz with the hum of the little worker bees and other drones. Or maybe that was just the voices? They seemed to be getting more excited the closer she got to the pool area.

As she hurried off to the pool, she wasn’t paying much attention to her surroundings or the others that were in them. Maia had her friends, sure they were around here somewhere, but the voices often took top priority. If she could appease them enough to make them quiet down a little, she could go on about her day. Maia was almost to the pool now, so she slowed her pace and looked around. She never paid much attention to when the pool was open or wasn’t, the voices didn’t care about that. But she figured it didn’t matter anyway. If she was somewhere she wasn’t supposed to be, the staff would right it, and she still have be able to appease the voices. That would make her a more manageable patient and isn’t that all that really matters? She figured she would go with yes on that one. Maia poked her head into the pool area, checking to see if anyone else was in there but it seemed to be empty, and then she tiptoed in. She wasn’t trying to be sneaky exactly, she didn’t want to make a lot of noise since it seemed to echo mercilessly in there. Besides tipping any sort of staff off to where she was seemed like a bad idea. They always seemed to run the fun, but that’s what they got paid to do, so she could understand.

Maia made her way to the deep end of the pool. She kicked off her shoes, dropped her pants, and pulled the sweater up over her head, leaving only her undergarments and crystal on. She tossed her clothing aside and lowered her self into the pool. She took a deep breath and dove under the water. Her eyes were closed at first as she enjoyed the feel of the water surrounding her, but the voices seemed to urge her to open them. As she did, she could see a faint glow coming from her crystal and a slab of stone. There was writing on the stone, in some language she had never seen before, and what looked to be a star. Maia knew this had to be a hallucination, but she just couldn’t stop staring at it. She was mesmerized by the sights. What she wasn’t realizing was the voices growing quiet and how long she had been down there.

Olive had been sitting on the couches for a few minutes by herself now. Having pulled her legs up Indian style and held her hand down between her legs so her dress covered her up. Her attention had been on one of the staff members, that was handing out the cold ice cream comes and popsicles. Those cold tasty treats meant for usually the summer seasons. She did love the cold and a nice sweet treat did sound good right now, though watching the person handing things out made Olive only shrink farther back into the black leather. She could easily walk up there and just pick and choose with a point of the finger but she didn’t feel like doing that. It was known fact that every staff member attempted to get her to talk or use words. Which one she didn’t want to do with them, not like she actually could and two it would just piss her off to no end. This left her going around destroying everything she saw and right now she really wanted to stay as far away from the confinement center as possible, like always. Her last few times in there really weren’t that great and she didn’t want to remember any of them. Rumor had it ‘Lock’ was in there already, he could handle the place like nothing. Olive on the other hand, well she couldn’t anymore. After one of her last trips there things changed and they changed a lot. She never spoke about what happened hell she really stopped speaking at all. All the progress she made before was completely gone. Just like something has cracked in her and she was once again right back where she started when she first arrived at Citricos.

Looking off to the kitchen, Olive almost missed Darren standing over by the frozen treat. Blinking a couple times as she came to realize he was standing there waiting with some other people. Her head slowly tilted to the size as her eyes focused on his lips, easily reading them to know every word he said. Since she hadn’t been talking herself, it was almost a habit to stare directly at people’s lips as they spoke. After a while it was only a matter of time before she got really good at being able to read the lips of anyone that spoke. She only shook her head slowly after figuring out that he was going on about the lack of strawberry flavored ice cream. Watching as he went over and grabbed a cup of hot coco, Olive had watched a few members of the staff make the cups before having to walk off to deal with something else. It wasn’t like she was going to rat her friend out anyway, it was fun watching the adults fret over everything that happened in this place. Her small grin she held on her face when seeing Darren or ‘Barrel’ as her code name for him was started to grow and grow as he started to come closer to her direction. Finally realizing that she was even there in the first place! He could really be slow at times, he could very possible be the slowest one in their little trio. Barrel was tied with Lock for dumbest member of the group for sure. Though Lock had his charm and ways to get around that. Sometimes she felt like she was even babysitting the two of them. Her tongue flicked over her pale lips as Darren came to sit next to her on the couches.

Her mouth opened to let nothing out but a silent laughter, or rather small gasps of breath as she nodded her head in agreement to everything he had just stated. It was so true. Olive was right being him when it came to loud noised and dangerous traps of the works. She loved the explosions and cunning tricks just as much as her partner in crime. Looking over to his hot chocolate as it smelled really good. The smell filling her nose as her eyes wandered the room of all the Christmas decorations. It was December and even a place like this got into the holiday spirit. Olive still much preferred the fall with Halloween but Christmas was a fun time too, not as fun as Halloween but still up there. Standing up on the couch she continued to listen to his words, while she felt her weight and her shoes sink in a little to the leather padding of the couch under her. The whole room was already decorated with garland around the windows and regular old normal candy canes hung from the fake green pine. Reaching up Olive nabbed two candy canes from the decorations. The staff would maybe put it into question later on where the missing candy went but they would have to know in a place like this, things would go missing. Sitting back down with a small bounce as she let her body fell to the ground. Her ears picked up on the last few sentences’ Darren was saying. A shiver seemed to run down her spine as she should feel the Goosebumps rise to her arms at even the slightest mention of the big man himself.

Her whole body seemed to freeze at the thought of him; the one person Olive was terrified of the most. He could be the cruelest person in the world if he wanted to. There was no getting way from him, ever. She was lucky she’d been able to stay far away as possible for as long as she had. Olive had never told anyone but the big boss man was the reason for half of her problems. Hell she’d even been the leader of their little trio until she cracked and was sent away, letting Lock take up the position and letting him keep it. Shadow leader was always the best position for her. Shaking off the strange feeling she had she turned her head towards Barrel and pointed a quick finger at herself then towards him. Before she spun it in the air quickly, meaning it would be a better idea to have them locked up with all three of them. Their tri could do wonders for a person. Grinning at the thought while the first stick of mint candy cane in her head was now open. Reaching over and plopping it right into Darren’s coco. Before halfway opening her own cane. Keeping the hooped sized covered as she began to suck on the straight end. It was always a habit for her to do that, each and every time she’d suck on it until it came to the finest point she could make it. From there it was a keep away game with the staff once they noticed. Around this time they were usually find half eaten candy canes lying around, all pointed off just for the other patients to find. She was sure none of them had figured out who was always leaving them around like that. Thought it wouldn’t take long for them to finally noticed, eventually that was. As she sat in her silence, a sound disrupted that. The growling in her stomach made her sigh and look down before punching Darren in the arm lightly and nodding off towards the kitchen. Oaf needs to go and get me some food.

Confinement was supposed to be a negative thing, wasn’t it? Then why was Calcifer so used to sitting in here, to the point of comfort? Oh, because he got into a lot of s**t, that was why, rightt~.

Perched in the corner of the lonely, padded cell, most patients would have gone mad by now, however for Cal, he spent so much time down here in confinement, it was like a second home. His head was rested against the padded wall, his eyes staring forward while his fingers picked idly at the dirt underneath his nails. How long had he been in here anyway? A few days maybe, to be honest Cal had no idea; the one thing that did get to him when he was down here was sleep. He could be down here for days, and choose not to sleep. Despite how comfortable he was being here, for some odd reason sleep was never an option. Normally he would sit like he was now for days, daydreaming and sometimes talking to himself out of pure boredom, sometimes he would even argue with himself on how he had ended up in here. This time, unlike all the others was different, in his mind; he was in here under false charges. You see, Cal had convinced one of the other patients that if he were to jump out of a window, he would be fine. Do to his weight, and the bushes underneath the window, everything would counter each other out and ta-da, they would be fine. Now, of course Cal knew his wasn’t true, but that kid actually thought it was, so he jumped, and Cal ended up here. It wasn’t like the kid died or anything, he was just too stupid for his own good.

Pulling his hands away from one another, Cal let out a loud sigh pushing himself away from the corner and up to his feet. Though he was unaware of how long he had been in here, his time had to be up sometime soon. His internal clock could just feel it. Somehow by magic, fate seemed to be reading his thoughts and the door to the cell opened up to reveal a security guard, beckoning Calcifer to come with him. Ah, now for the system he knew far too well. Sauntering forward to meet the larger man, Cal whirled around as he approached the man, holding his wrists behind his back allowing them to be handcuffed together in normal tradition. However, much to the Devils surprise, that wasn’t the only form of restraint put on his body. He nearly let out a scream of surprise but it was quickly muffled as duct tape was slapped over his mouth. Whirling around to face the security guard, a puzzled look was plastered on his face only to be greet by the mans smug smile. “Sorry there, Faire. New order, since yer mouth is more dangerous than ya fists.” Well, he did have a good point; ever Cal knew that his words were more dangerous than anything else.

Like the obedient boy he was, Cal allowed himself to be lead by the guard, through the terrifying hall, and handed off to a staff member at the check in area. Aside from the tape blocking his mouth, the rest of the process was normal. The transfer from the guard to the staff member was smooth, and then handcuffs were promptly removed, however, the tape stayed in place for obvious reasons. Cal hardly even flinched as the staff member placed her hand on his lower back, directing him up and into the elevator. “Again, sorry about the tape, Mr.Faire.” Cal looked up from the ground with a surprised look on his face, normally no one talked to him when they were transporting him, unless he did something wrong. “We just need to work on your social skills more, and I’m sure they’ll let you leave here eventually. Mr.Faire, I’m sure you’re aware of that. I know it’s a challenge for you to well, to put it lightly, not trick people, but it’s for your own good that you shouldn’t.” Oh, this woman was defiantly new.

Only fools believed Calcifer was a nice person deep down.

However, if she thought he was good deep down, he could surely use that to his advantage later one. Giving her a meaningful look, Cal nodded in agreement, earning a bright happy smile from the young woman. This was too easy. Without so much of another word, the staff member peeled the tape off of his mouth gently as the elevator came to a stop. Oh she shouldn’t have done that. “Oh you’re quite right, I just need some-“ Cal leaned down over the woman, having a good foot over her, and placed his mouth by her ear. good support from a lovely staff member as yourself, moi cheri.” This, this was why the duct tape was over his face. Placing a quick kiss on her cheek, Cal spun on his heels, hurriedly leaving the elevator and stepped out onto the main floor. Damn, he had forgotten how nice actual air smelt like, oh and look at that, snow. What a surprise. Somehow, his body had turned onto autopilot, taking him through the familiar halls, and into the kitchen, his stomach yearning for food with actual taste. Raising one hand to his forehead, he dabbed it with the back of his hand, his fingers touching the bright red hair that was peeking out from under his hat for a moment as he scanned the food in the kitchen.

A small, giddy noise came from Cal’s throat as his eyes locked on a specific warm beverage, hot chocolate? Why the ******** not? Grabbing a mug of the delicious chocolate beverage, Cal began to scan the kitchen once more, looking over peoples heads to look for two very specific faces; Shock and Barrel. Look at that, just the faces he was scanning for. A dangerous look spread over his face as he sauntered over to the duo on the leather couch, shoving himself between the two with a wiggle of his butt. “’Ello my lovies, miss Papa Calcifer at all? I know, how could you function, right?” Cal chuckled to himself taking a sip of the hot beverage before letting out a sigh of happiness. Looking from Olive to Darren, he seemed to make a decision in his mind before letting it take effect. With the utmost care in not spilling his drink, Calcifer locked eyes with Darren and slowly began to lay down on the younger boys lap, watching his reaction, before throwing his legs up and onto Olive’s lap. Cautiously, he rested his cocoa on his chest, moving his scarf so it wouldn’t knock his precious drink over.

“In all seriousness though, did I miss any fun stuff? It’s like, super quiet, yo”

Sooh easily took not of how Jumpy Alice was when she made her appearance. It wasn’t like she had been trying to be sneaky or keep quiet. Even though her footsteps were normally quiet soft, the floor of the facility was hard enough to even make the faintest sound. She made it so she never tried to purposefully sneak up on any of the patients. Some of them just couldn’t handle it with their conditions and other freaked out way too much. It was a hassle calming them down then other patients made a ruckus. Like when the famous trio Calcifer, Darren and Olive roamed around the grounds. Sooh kept her brown eyes placed on Alice until she had removed herself from the window and stepped back. Giving her quiet morning reply to the one she’d given the girl upon walking up to them. As she made her way to the window, her ears and attention were still on the blonde girl as she started to ramble on her own again. Picking up on what she was saying when her name was called out. ” Would you like to repeat those words miss Foster? Or rather explain them?” Her eyes remained on the girl as her attention also stayed. She knew who was exactly on the roof and as dangerous as it was, she wasn’t worried about him doing anything. The boy was quiet smart even if his mind didn’t seem to be all there at times. That observation she had made a long time ago. Her smile was firm was still warm as she let her attention waver back to the window, which she made another mental note to have Vega make sure all the window were sealed shut from now on.

She listened for Neid’s voice, his confirmation that he was going to do just what she asked of him. Keeping close to the window just in case something did end up happening on his way down, they were up on the seventh floor and it was a very long ways down. Luckily this window didn’t overhang the cliff but it didn’t have a good ending either way. If someone fell it could be pretty fatal still, and she was confident in her reflexes and strength to help the boy if things turned for the worse. She was happy it wasn’t going that way when she finally saw legs hanging down and soon a body to follow them. Once he was inside her eyes finally left his form and looked outside at the falling snow and opened window. She’d have to fix that before walking off and logging in her floor checks. Checking the young boy over, she let out a soft sigh as her eyes became aware of the cuts on his hands.” You need to change out of those wet clothes, and go to the medical wing to get your cuts cleaned. We don’t need anything getting infected. I hope to see you inside and not on the roofs again. They are not a place for people to be and it is dangerous with the snow and ice this time of year.” Her arms slowly crossing in front of her as she looked over to Neid as he was hunched over and just waiting to be punished.

” For now let’s get down to the ground floor, lunch will be soon and there will be some free time before the first meeting of the day. You both didn’t forget did you?” Letting her smile come to her face as a single hand reached up to push a strand of hair away from her face. Today was one of their big monthly meeting were the throughout the day groups of patients and doctors would get together in one of the meeting rooms to talk. Pretty much talk all together, seeing how the patients were doing to observe them, and they would do small interactive activated with one another, having everyone mingle together.” Okay, any questions?” Letting her arms come uncrossed from her boy as she gently placed a hand on each other their shoulders, guiding them towards the elevator, a quicker route down then the stairs. As the familiar ding of the elevator sounded, she allowed the two to exit the contraption before she stepped foot out. Holding her arm across the gap so the door would not close as they seemed to take their own time getting out. Walking out herself she didn’t go long before another small commotion took her attention. This time coming from behind the walls and through the doors to the front desk.”’Ancestors here my prayers.’ Letting here eyes close for a few seconds before the cause of the commotion came out and away from the front desk with another staff member scolding him. This afternoon was becoming quiet lively, she only hopped it would slow down with everyone. What was going around that had been getting everyone so worked up today already?

Sooh kept her slow pace going still she came to a stop watching Hyung Seok dash his own way to the group and stopping a few inches away from her. ” Good morning, or shall we say afternoon now?” Nodding her head slowly as she looked between the three patients now.” You two head to the kitchen for lunch and your sir.” Pointing her slender finger towards Nied.” Go get your hands checked on and then do the same, after your clothes are changed. We don’t need you getting sick from the cold and wet.” Giving each of them a quick look over and she dismissed herself, knowing they were capable of doing their own thing, she spotted Vega over by the doors now and she did have to talk to her about the windows of the place.” I have a job for you today.” Sooh spoke as she walked up on Vega.” I’ll need you to go around and check the windows on every floor to make sure they can’t be opened. The ones they shouldn’t be opened, I should rephrase.” Reaching up to rub her temples slowly, she needed to go and get herself some food too before she had to deal with anything else. The sounds of something hitting a window close by took her attention now. Spinning around trying to find the source of the sound, she hadn’t heard it before or seen anyone else in the main front room. Stopping with her shoulders slumping slightly, before straightening out and standing tall again.” Mr. Mckinnley! Do stop that right now!” Rushing over to the younger boy and standing in front of the chair he was cooped up in. She didn’t need a damaged window or his own head to be damaged, anymore than it already way.

                                                  ”RyoRin”

Darren's left eyebrow raised up as he watched Olive take out a long piece of mint candy, only to place it inside his drink. The male turned head down to watch as the coloring of the candy slowly mixed in to his hot coco. The now light brown coloring was turning in to a sickly green almost, reminding him of a chemistry set of some kind. He wasn't sure why, but for some reason his head always went to chemistry when he saw such things happen before his eyes. It might have been because in his old school it was the only class he could enjoy. The changed that it made was fascinating and it was happening right before him once more. He then glanced back over the young female next to him, seeing that she was already eating her own candy at the moment. That was the one thing they all had in common as a group; their love for candy. Eating sweets in general. He hated to eat anything too sour, or anything that was a veggie flavor. It was one of the main reason why he didn't eat, not because he wanted to but more because it all taste like s**t to him, Candy and sweets though where amazing and he would rather eat them from the ground. Everyone knew not to test him on that too. He had eaten day old candy on the ground just because it was there, being wasted and not enjoyed. Sure he now got strange looks and was placed in the medical wing for several test but it was wroth that day old strawberry gum.

Suddenly the youth felt a simple punch on his arm, causing him to turn his head back towards Olive. He then paused as he watched her make several motions towards him , then to the kitchen. The girl never seemed to speak to anyone unless it was him or Lock but two never asked why. He both figured that everyone should keep at least on secret in this place and she wanted to hide her voice from the others in this looney bin then that was her choice. Plus a apart of him knew why deep down inside. It was easy to put the pieces together on who was the cause of it, after all it was most likely the same reason why his brain scans seemed to have nay progresses. The main man was a fearsome one indeed. Hiding in the shadows of this cursed place however it wasn't all bad. When he was pleased then this place was a playground for them and rewards from him was the best rewards in this place. Just stay on his good side and you wouldn't end up like the half of the kids here. Wounder what happened to that vampire kid,..' He thought while turning his head towards the kitchen one last time before back to Olive.

" Wah!" He said from the surprise of the last member of their little team made his way on to the couch. It seemed the little devil had decided to take the space between them both. When seeing the older boys expression Darren couldn't help but to smirk a bit. It was always a fun sight to see the older teen in the room and when the three of them where together the real fun would begin. Truth be told it was better then being apart, even the doctors agreed to that. Nothing was worse then the fits the kids went threw when they where being forced to not hang out together. Kicking, screaming, punching, damaging property, and biting was what he did when he didn't see his friends for more then a week. So in a way it was helping his therapy. Kind of his healing process one might say. When hearing the male speak be couldn't help but to let out a chuckle. It was somewhat true in what Calcifer said, him being a leader of their group. Of course so was Olive. Depending on the situation this usually became a power struggle to which Darren would sneak in and attempt to take the glory, That usually never happened but in his head it did.

When Calcifer started to move the youth could only bring up his own cup, not wanting it to spill. The mint chocolate was still fixing out the coco to just a perfect smell of frightfulness. He then watched with his trade mark grin on his face as Calcifer put his feet up on Olive's lap. This wasn't going to end well and some how he had a feeling that coco was going to end up on his favorite jacket. When hearing the older male's question the trade mark grin didn't seem to go away, even when looking down at the devil. " No fun at all. " He said with a simple shrug of his shoulders. " Not even a trick or two went off yet. " He explained before glancing over towards Olive, giving her a known expression. The hint in his eyes where very clear now . ' Shove him off or trickle him off?' He thought, while tilting his head a bit towards Cal, only to glance back at Olive.

Seriously, you jump off a roof one time and people think that you are suicidal. Uh...that didn't come out right. It wasn't like he hadn't thought about the possibility that he wouldn't survive the ten feet drop to the hard pavement below, but really, it hadn't really bugged him. If he died...oh well. Not like anyone would care. Okay. That sounded pretty suicidal. It was true, though. Sad, but true. How many other twelve year old boys were sent to an asylum? Not a lot, let me tell you that. That just heightened his idea that was stuck in his head that said it would be better if he wasn't alive, that he was so screwed up that his father put him in this stupid asylum. He could still remember the knowing look on his older brother's face when his father was throwing his suitcases into the back of his truck. He had never wanted to punch him as bad as he had that day.

James Elliot Cooper had only been at Citricos for two weeks and three days (he was keeping track) but already he felt completely alone. Sure, some of the kids had tried to speak to him his first couple of days, but he tended to shy away from most people that he didn't know, especially when they could possibly be murderers or something...in a place like this, you never know. And to add to the fact, most of the kids here were older than him. He had yet to find someone who was close to his age.

At the moment, James, who really preferred to be called Jamie, was sitting cross-legged on his bed, in the room that he shared with Neil. Jamie didn't really know anything about the older boy, except what he had overheard from other people. Apparently he had trouble with substance control...whether that meant alcohol or drugs, he wasn't sure. Jamie stared wistfully out the window at the snow gathering outside. He wished he was back home, running through the giant woods that surrounded their little cabin, shooting trees with his father's rifle. Instead, he was here, with eyes on him all the time. He felt like he couldn't even eat without someone looking at him. He hated that.

Jamie got off the bed, a frown on his face, as it had been ever since he had arrived there. He dusted off his t shirt and walked out the door of the room. He could hear the quiet murmur of voices from the living room of the building. He approached the stairs that spiraled down three floors before reaching the ground floor. Staring down at the ground far below him, a niggling little voice in his head urged him to jump. Think of the adrenaline rush! Honestly, it's not that far...plus, look, it's carpeted! Last time you only broke your ankle, but this time, I bet you won't break anything. Jamie continued to stare down the stairs for a moment or so before shaking his head sharply. No. No he would not. When he was at home, he always felt like he was a disappointment in his father's eyes. His older brother Adam was a great hunter, football player...sure, he had a permanent injury from playing football, but that didn't mean he was unable to do anything. Jamie himself liked animals too much to hunt them and he never was good being close to other people, so football was not one of his favorite things to do. Plus, he didn't have the physique to actually tackle someone. With his height and his skinny arms, it just wouldn't have worked out. He was friends with one kid who his father didn't approve of. He wasn't good at tracking, like his brother or father. Plus, there was the fact that Adam was his father's actual son and Jamie had been adopted by the man when he was four.

Taking pills for depression in the morning made him feel weak. And he didn't like feeling weak. He wasn't sick! He wasn't crazy! He just wanted to impress his father. Was that so hard to comprehend? But then that little voice would be back in his head, telling him that it wasn't just that. Jamie brought a hand up to his head and rubbed it, groaning a little bit. He pushed away from the railing and walked to the top of the stairs, refusing to look anywhere but the carpeted stairs below him. He counted all the steps down to the ground floor and then didn't look up even as he walked the path to the pool. He could hear Mrs. Sooh, the head, talking to someone, but he wasn't even listening. Some voices were coming from the kitchen as well, but he ignored them. The pool is where he liked to go, just to sit in silence without someone watching him.

Jamie pushed open the door to the pool, the smell of chlorine filling his nose and the humid, moist air automatically relaxing him. He took a deep breath and took a seat on one of the chairs, He ran a hand through his always messy brown hair and peered around the pool, seeing whether there was anyone else there. No one that he could see...but there was someone in the pool. Jamie stared at them for a moment. Light hair...that was basically all he could see. They weren't moving. Jamie swallowed nervously, glancing around the room, wishing someone else was there. He never was good at not panicking. He stood up and hesitantly walked over to where the girl was submerged. He glanced down and knelt on the tile, hands on the edge of the pool. He hesitated again, about to go get someone to help when a sudden noise startled him and he fell forward...straight into the pool. He yelled as he fell, but closed his mouth as soon as he was under the water. He glanced down at the girl, who was still not moving. He swam slowly down to here and grabbed her arm. She didn't react right away, so he pulled as hard as he could, pushing them both up to the surface. He coughed a little as he emerged, then turned to the girl.

                                    "U-um..."

He said quietly. What if she was fine and she was just angry at him for pulling her out of her thoughts. Or what if she wasn't...

ooc; i don't think this is godmodding, but if it is, please tell me so I can change it!

He had been in a foul mood the past couple of days. He hadn’t had a decent smoke in days since they had found his pack of fun cigarettes. The staff had told him that he wasn’t to have any illegal substances in here and that they were trying to help him with his substance abuse. However, they didn’t seem to realize, or remember, that he’s smoked much worse. Normally Neil had a hard time remembering anything new. For the longest time, he’d wake up in his room only to scream and shout until someone was able to prove to him he hadn’t been abducted. Neil did seem to have no problem remembering something when he spent every second of everyday despising the fact that something of his was taken. He didn’t abuse the substances, if anything they were much rougher on him, so why couldn’t he have a pack of fun cigarettes? He’d be much more willing to go along with their theories and their treatments if he had something to take his mind off the monotony of it all. “They propose I have a routine. One that will help me remember the new things. Who says I want to remember anything.” He said to himself. “Everything new is awful.” They told him over and over again, that’s why he remembered it, that he needed a routine. If he did the same things day in and out then he would remember. He’d remember the name of his young roommate, he’d remember what they’d talked to him about in his last meeting, and he’d remember why he’d been checked in. ’I think it was my girlfriend, or the girl claimed she was, I certainly didn’t remember her.’ He thought. ’That’s why I picked up the bat. She was in my apartment, standing over me, it was only reasonable to want to bash her skull in.’

Neil hadn’t tried keeping a routine. The idea of monotony terrified him. He liked things that were always changing and meeting new faces even if he couldn’t remember them the next day. That just meant they would always be new faces. He did keep a journal though. While he couldn’t remember the faces he wrote about, he could at least remember what he had or hadn’t promised them. Reading his journal this morning had revealed that he hadn’t promised to go to any meetings today, because he was mad about them taking away his special smokes. But that should have been fairly obvious. In his journal was another entry. “See the girl with the art.” He read aloud. Neil didn’t know who that was. Neil didn’t even know who the kid in the next bed was, but he would figure it out, eventually. He scanned the page for some sort of hint and after some ramblings a scribbled note read, “Monkeys and research on the third floor.” He had a vague idea, at least more so than he did moments ago, of who it could be. There was a girl on the third floor that reminded him of monkeys. Well, it was more the color yellow, which in turn made him think of bananas, which made him think of monkeys. None the less, he had a vague idea where her room was. After all, the third floor wasn’t too terribly huge and with everyone having roommates it cut the investigation time in half. He knew the Girl with the Art wasn’t in his room. His young roomie had left a bit ago, besides he was a male.

That left two other rooms to check. Not being able to remember what happened the day before made doing embarrassing or rude things very easy for Neil. Of course the others wouldn’t forget and might find him odd but everyone in this place was odd. Neil had already showered, brushed his teeth, and dressed earlier this morning, so he got off his bed and moved to the door. He opened the door just enough to slide his body by and closed it gently behind him. Looking first to his right and then to his left, his room seemed to be the last room on the floor. Or rather it was the furthest from the staircase. He went to the closest door to his and knocked. “You’re not yellow.” He stated, when the door opened, then proceeded to the next door. After knocking on that and waiting for an answer he prepared himself. This had to be the yellow girl’s room. It was the only other room on the third floor. Unless he was playing tricks on himself, but that seemed highly unlikely. Before the door had a chance to open, Neil decided to introduce himself. “Hello Yellow One, I’m Neil, I came to see your art.” He called through the door. He had hoped that she was in a good enough mood to allow him to come in. Neil found, like many others, that seeing beauty in such an abysmal place was hard. What a treat it would be to see a work of art and by a local artist no less!

Neil hadn’t heard much about this young lady’s art, if he did he certainly didn’t remember, but he was sure it was splendid. In Neil’s eyes, all art was beautiful especially if it didn’t fit the typical standard of beauty. The fact that someone could put their heart, soul, sweat, and blood into a work was just mesmerizing to him. Neil, of course, had no talent for art. He could blow smoke rings but that’s as artistic as it got with him. He hoped he wouldn’t be turned away. Though he could understand if she didn’t want to see him. Everyone was entitled to their personal space and no one wanted to be around someone who would wake up tomorrow not knowing who was a friend and who was foe. Still Neil tried to make friends. He saw friends in his dreams. There was the one with the blue and white dress, the hare, the mouse, and the man with the hat. They appeared most frequently to him. Whether or not he was really friends with them was something only they could say. Though, that would require him to figure out who they were here, outside of his dream world. Neil was pretty good at riddles and puzzles, so matching the dream with the reality could prove to be easier. Yet he wondered if it was worth it. He would forget, like he always did. Writing it in his journal did help, but he didn't want to be a burden on anybody, especially not friends. These thoughts were ones he'd have to save for later though, as he didn't want to be rude and ignore the young lady should she choose to let him in.

xxxxIt has been over two hours spent in the bathroom for the little French girl. All of her time used, in her opinion wisely, to perfect and beautify her already gorgeous face. Her large makeup brush was slowly swept across her cheek leaving the perfect amount of rouge in the perfect place. Her lips were then carefully outlined and painted pink. Fawnia, or Fawn, as most have generally started to call her, used careful movements to do her morning ritual. Every morning she'd greet the day earlier than her roommate so she could get at least two hours before he woke up. The cold liquid eyeliner was being painted on her lash line. Her body moved so she could check both sides in the mirror. Symmetry. Beautiful symmetry. Doing this, giving in to her personality disorder made her forget she was in this place. As warm and friendly as it appeared, with colored couches and rainbow rooms, it felt cold to her. This was not a permanent residency she reminded herself daily. As soon as she was better she could return home to her family.

                                              'Family.'

She remembered them fondly. Her beautiful parents and two handsome brothers, they were clear images in her head. Plus she looked at the photograph she had of all of them from last christmas sitting in the drawer of her nightstand every night before she went to sleep. Fawn finished her morning routine and carefully arranged her white hat on her head. For years she's dealt with her disorder. Years of perfecting how to achieve perfection. Whenever she failed however, consequences took a turn for the violent. Every time she makes a mistake she gets viciously angry at whatever caused her to fail. She had a reputation as a mirror shatter-er, a biter, a room destroyer, and a kicker. But most of all she has destroyed every piano ever placed in this place.

By the time she left the bathroom her roommate was gone. She shrugged. He was rather loud and hyper. However she had learned to deal with it. At night she'd sleep with earbuds in, during the day she just paid him no mind unless formally addressed. Fawn slipped on her shoes then exited the room. Her feet carried her down the halls, not completely sure of her destination. She was wondering for what seemed like forever. Stopping to look out the window as the little snowflakes hit the glass and disappeared or built great piles. It danced across her mind if snowflakes decided to work together or if they were chosen at random to fly solo and die. The thought fleeted from her head and she continued on her path. Fawnia hummed to herself as she traveled up stairs and down stairs and left down hall ways and rights down pathways, weaving in and out of rooms.

The behavior was restlessness. Since she ended up taking a lamp to the last piano she had nothing to do until they received a new one. There was now nothing for her to do but walk about like a ghost. It had been days since she felt the bone white keys under her finger tips. There was no feeling better than that. Her pale hand brushed her baby girl pink hair from her eyes. She had died her hair for the first time this color when she was fifteen. Light hair and light eyes were always very attractive. While she ended up looking like her mother, a beautiful woman, she felt ordinary in comparison. She wanted people to look at her and not think: "Hey, Fawnia looks just like her mother." The pale pink hair made her stand out from her mother, as did the piercing in her nose. She started looking less like a reflection and more like a new model. Not only a new model, a better model, a more perfect model.

Fawnia's blue eyes lit up as she traveled through the library. There it was. Her greatest enemy and best friend. A new piano. Well, not new as in quality, new as in never been seen before. Her pace quickened as she jogged towards the valuable resource. Lightly she traced her fingers over the key cover before she pushed it back. Her fingers pressed on the keys lightly as she smiled for the first time in days. This was her prize. Gracefully she sat down on the bench and her fingers danced across the keys. As she played the song she sang along quietly in french. Memories crossed her mind of sitting with at the piano with her brothers as children learning how to play. Their mother sitting on the couch listening as they took turns tapping away at the keys. Fawn missed her family, but the truth was she wasn't getting better and wouldn't be returning home anytime soon.

Olive wanted nothing more than be able to voice out to Barrel for him to go and get her some damn food from the kitchen! It wasn’t that far away, only a couple steps really. She didn’t want to have to go through the whole long ordeal about what she wanted, when Darren could go and fetch it for her from some staff. Olive wasn’t one for making her own food either. Even though she could cook, she didn’t do it in front of people. When you made your own food people stared at you and she didn’t want that. It would easily end up in her throwing something at a few people and not something small and dull either. Olive easily went for the most dangerous things when she could. Like that one time, she ended up chucking a few drinking glasses at another patient because they had been bothering her. The boys were of course right behind her when it came to running away from the staff. The three ended up hiding in a bathtub one a random room. The look on the people’s face’s whose room it was when they finally sneaked out was perfectly priceless! If only bathtubs could walk, then the face on the person wouldn has been even better to see! For now she was pretty content with sucking on her candy cane. She could feel the sticky sugar already sticking to her lips as she went on. Sliding her tongue over her lips to clean them of any signs of her sweet and minty treat, no traces needed to be left behind. Looking over towards Darren out of the corner of her eyes, she was happy with her decision. He looked thrilled with the candy stick that was now in his coco, turning it colors and working its magic on the flavor of the drink. She was tempted to take it out of his hands and snag a drink for herself but she held back. He’d have a flying fit, and it was too much of a hassle to shut him up afterwards about it. Now when Lock was here, that was free game for her, she’d take everything and anything he wanted from him without a care in the world!

Taking the candy cane out of her mouth slowly and licking her lips, Olive studied the progress she was making on it. The part she’d been sucking on was now fully white and no red lines were visible anymore. While that same end was starting to come to a point, it was still in the rounded stage but it was getting there. Sticking it back into her mouth and pulling it out slowly just enough to start forming the sharp point once again.’ I wonder who I can get in trouble with these this time around.’ Going over the list of people in her mind, how the staff would freak with some of the patients having deadly canes in their hands. Like that movie-what was it again? Black Christmas or something like that. A Christmas horror movie, she’d dragged the boys to on Christmas day when it came out. Right in the start of the movie the bad guy killed a guard with a candy cane and it was complexly obvious it was going to happen. She’d called it right even before he took the candy in his hands. Turning back around to the window behind the leather couch they were on, Olive reached up and snagged a bunch of other candy canes that were in her reach. Turning back around and shoving them into Darren’s bag he had on him and then even some in his pants pockets. She didn’t have any way to hold them, since her dress had no pockets and candy canes in bras didn’t work as well as other objects. After making sure her stashes of future weapons were safe and sound, she quickly put on a serious face staring the younger male and pointing her finger right at him sternly. He was not to eat or touch, or even break any of those. Without her permission first that is.

As things looked now, it looked like Darren was starting to take the hint about getting some food. Taking the sweet from her mouth to eye it once again, AH-now there was that point she was looking for! Tapping her tongue against the sharp candy to test it out. Olive hadn’t even seen Calcifer come into the room, nor did she know he was making his way over to them. Just having put the candy cane back in her mouth when he so rudely shoved his way in between herself and Barrel, which in turn caused her to break of her newly formed tip on her cane.’ Son of a b***h!’ Opening her mouth and actually letting out some sort of a growling sound in responded to anything Lock had just said about missing them. She was unhappy now! This meant she’d have to start over and make a new point. It was a pain, trying to no break it while making one; it sucked even more when someone else made you mess up! She’d already ended up jabbing her mouth multiple times in the process. Slumping her shoulders down, she did miss him though! It just wasn’t a party without him present in their group. Her eyes watched him movement as this time when she saw him moving, instantly she took her precious project out of her mouth and held it high in the air so it wouldn’t get broken again. Feeling the small weight of his legs on her lap, she only grinned locking eyes with Barrel. Of course she knew exactly what was going through the youths mind as I was the same things going through her own. They needed some fun right now, she was going to go crazy if everything was so dead and silent for much longer. Maybe they could even check out of the building or go to the court yard and rack up and army of snowballs! That would be fun, sneaking them inside and going bat s**t crazy on everyone they saw in the hall. A grin mustered itself on her face, obvious as day that she was thinking up something good. She would just have to get this plan out to them as soon as possible!

The feeling of hunger in her stomach was pretty much forgotten as she thought her own plan through. Giving her candy cane one last lick before swinging the now pointed dagger around her finger a few times, before stopping it in her hands. Olive’s head tilted over to Darren for a few seconds and one of her hands slowly made its way to Lock’s shirts, pulling it up slowly and without a word or sound Olive duck the pointed end of her cane into his skin, drawing a quick line across his stomach. Watching as a few drops of blood seeped from the cut. Ah yes, this cane was done and finished and the test run went well. It passed with flying colors. Quickly she mouthed a ‘go’ to Barrel as she flung Cal off her lap and quickly stood up. Leaving her weapon for the next poor fool to find before running out of the kitchens and down the halls. It was now a game of cat and mouse, and Cal just so happened to be the little old’ kitty cat! “Slow poke.” Olive managed to muster out her voice was raspy and so quiet that her words were easily missed by anyone not paying attention to her. It was a surprise she had even been able to get those two words out of her mouth and audible.

                                                  ”RyoRin”

Nied seemed to keep his head down as he listened to the care taker 's voice give off a hint of displeasure. He wasn't one to enjoy being scolded, often finding it demeaning to him. However his smile seemed to grow with full delight as she started ordering people around to do her bidding. It was always a delight to see her pumped up,.. Sometimes he swore that she was in charge of this topsy turvy place however that was only an illusion. Even he wasn't insane enough to believe that but the idea was still fun. He watched with mild interest as she finally noticed his hand wounds, causing him to lean back a bit and rise his hands, palm up, towards her. ' I wonder if she has alcohol in her pockets,..' He thought while tilting his head forward a bit to help give the women a clear view of his wound. If there was one thing from all of his ten years in living here is was to not piss her off and to just fallow her orders. He wasn't insane enough to try and cross her path as he saw her being insane as well. The delight of the kooks running the asylum just put a smile to his face.

" Nurse and new cloths." He repeated, wanting to make sure that he was clear in what the older woman wanted him to do. The boys mind was twisting and turning at the moment, mostly from his lack of pills yet. After all pill time was at noon and that this moment it was not noon but soon he would be stabilized. Until then though, the boys moods was going to be going from childish and calm to as mad as a march heir. His expression was a dead give away to which point he was entering at this moment, having a childish grin on his face and seemed to be trying to not laugh at this second. " The roofs are so much fun though,.. And I was dared. Dared I say." He said with a simple nod of his head, before watching her walk off. In some way it was the truth. The boy was the easiest person to have something get done, especially if it came at a price. He was always bored here and thus when people dropped hints at him, even if he knew it wasn't good, the youth would do it. The window was a prime example of this.

The boy ended up turning his head back over towards Alice and Hyung Seok, who he tended to call mouse in his head, with a cheery grin still playing on his face. The other male appeared to him as normal, very tired in appearance. Even in his dreams the boy would be half asleep talking to them at their lovely tea party. Of course his top hat friend would be there trying to wake him up however once again he wasn't here. Normally they where always together, especially when it was lunch time because the staff gave him and handed them tea. After several years of battling the insane, people tended to give up and Nied thanked them with all his heart that they did. After all not having tea with the mad man, the mouse, and the lovely Alice was crime in his head. One that he swore he would die from if not be torched in a clock tower for. " Are there bats in your belfry still or are you cured?" He asked while leaning a bit closer towards Hyung Seok. Before he was less then an inch away from the other male he pulled back suddenly. "Yes, yes. Still there I see." He said with a nod of his head.

" Now that tea time is close by we need our timer!" He announced while lifting his head up. It seemed his spirits where returning to him as quickly as they left. Sure his clothing was still damp and made his bones shiver from the cold breeze hitting his skin, however he was too excited to care. He wanted to have fun now and there it was, staring at them all clear in the face.
