Welcome to Gaia! ::

San glared up. "So can you like, throw the vine or rope or whatever down? I don't want to be stuck here, and this vine broke. Obviously." she muttered, running her hands through her hair. This is irritating. Sooo irritating. And I'm tired. And class.. although, SFA 101 isn't that bad. So maybe, I can make it back before math, if we can find some way...? Although, if things went the way they did with Kagome, then I won't get anything done. Oh crap, I'll fail college. And..! Panicking, she looked back up.

Inuyasha raised an eyebrow. "You found what, exactly?" he asked loudly, peering down into the well with a small smirk on his face. "Oh, so some idiot decided to fall down there, huh? What makes you think I'll get you out, huh?"

"Faye! FAYE! I didn't mean a person, I meant A THING. Like, not him. Or the other one." she mumbled the last part to herself before sighing. "No, I don't want or need your help. I can get out myself, if a certain someone would just toss me a line."

Inuyasha scoffed, sitting down. "Yeah? Really? We'll see, then."
Faye, being the amazing best friend and roommate that she is, once again burst into laughter, and unable to keep herself up, collapsed against the well once more(sitting down), laughing. During this she was still being interrupted by her now seemingly serious case of the hiccups.

Taking a moment to try to calm herself, while being stared at strangely by Inuyasha, she turned around and looked down the well at her friend. "And where am I supposed to find a rope, huh?" The "huh" of her question was combined with a hiccup. Completely amused by this predicament, she turned to Inuyasha, "So, are you going to get her out?"

As she asked this, the monk came out from the trees and into the small clearing, where he saw Inuyasha standing up glaring at Faye, as she was sitting, leaning against the well, hiccuping. Faye leaned forward and saw him, "Or will you?"

"What?" Miroku blinked, quite confused.

"Well, you see..." She laughed, and then hiccuped, "San jumped down the well in hopes that we could get back to our time, but..." she hiccuped again, "... it didn't work." At this, she laughed a bit to herself, then looked back at him, "So will you help her get out? He," Faye refers to the hanyou, "doesn't really seem like he wants to help."
San listened to this, hearing Inuyasha's voice and then that guy's. "What... what the..." she muttered, starting to get frustrated. "Faye! You shut up right now! Don't you bring anyone else into this!" She yelled, starting to bang against the wall of the well. "I can get out myself somehow!" She screamed, then sat down and trying to figure out a way up. I totally do NOT want that monk to get me out. Or Inuyasha, for that matter. I can do it myself.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "Hey, it's your fault that you came to this place, without anyone else. How stupid can you get? I really can't believe it. We should get going. Oi, monk." he called out, looking over to him. "We should get going and just leave them here. They're stupid, and we don't need to be slowed down!"
Faye just continued to laugh and hiccup, only to receive a glare from Inuyasha, which only made her laugh more. "You look funny and scary at the same time!" And then, being in this strange mood (see what laugher does to you?), she looked at his hair, then touched her own. "I want long hair..." She hiccuped.

Looking at the girl laughing and acting quite strangely, Miroku could not help but be amused. He walked over to the well and looked down at San, "Are you all right?" He didn't get much of a response from her, only some mumbling which he could not understand. The monk turned to look at Inuyasha, "We should help her. I know you only see them as a hindrance... But as I said, they must be from Kagome-sama's time as well. Faye," He looks at her, although she is still touching her hair, then she looks up at him and hiccups, "said so herself, that they were trying to return to their own time."
Inuyasha shrugged and grunted before standing up. "Yeah, I guess so. Fine, we can help them get back to their own time." He regarded Faye with suspicion, wondering what was causing this odd mood of hers. He walked over to the edge of the well and peered down again, looking down at San. "Hey, I'll get you out, then. And then we can get going like we were supposed to hours ago!"

San glared up at him, putting a hand to her forehead to block out the sun. "Um, no, I don't think so. I'll get out myself, and no one else needs to help!" she called, grabbing onto the broken vine again and pulling herself up, trying to use the walls of the well as a sort of grip. She made it up about a foot before getting somewhat stuck. "Ughh... the vine runs out.." she looked around quickly, trying to see another, and grabbed for one that was just out of reach.

Inuyasha watched with some amusement now, trying not to roll his eyes and laugh at her stupid attempts. "Yeah, okay, sure. Hey, she doesn't want help, so, I guess I can't help her." he said sarcastically, crossing his arms.
Peering down into the well, Faye calls out to San, "You know, you should just accept his help. You want to--hic--get back, don't you?"

"She's right." Miroku is now looking down at San, also. "The sooner we get you out, the sooner we can get going and get you back to your own time." He and Faye looked at each other in agreement.

"Yeah, San, so you should really let Inuyasha come down and get you." She paused a moment, stifling a laugh from a thought that just occurred to her, "Look at it this way," she turned away a moment to stifle another laugh, "you'll be the princess, and he'll be your prince, coming to save you! See, you'll be--hic--saved by your 'knight in shining armor' for once!" At this, she turned and took a few steps away from everyone, laughing at her own joke.

Miroku watched her as she walked away, amused Faye being so entertained with herself. He turned back to the well to see San's reaction.
San hung onto the vine with an irritated expression, glaring at the wall in front of her. "..wow, you're retarded. I can't believe you actually said something as stupid as that..." she trailed off, trying to get up farther and ending up letting go of the vine and jumping down to the floor again. "Damnit! I almost had it there, I swear!" she said, wiping her hands against her pants and sighing. "What now..."

Inuyasha heard her fall back down and rolled his eyes. "Are you ready to stop being an idiot and letting me go get you? Otherwise, I really will leave you and whoever else stays here, because unlike you, I have a mission that I actually care about doing. So, hurry up and make a decision."

San scrunched her face up, clenching her fists at her side before muttering loud enough for the hanyou to hear, "Fine. I want help getting back up." she said, keeping her head down. The hanyou rolled his eyes and jumped down the well, picking her up on his back and then jumping back up, all in a few seconds.

"See? That wasn't so damn hard, so can we please get moving now?" he asked, now really frustrated. He glared at the monk and then at Faye, rolling his eyes at her antics. "Right now." To emphasize his point, he started to walk back in the direction of the village so that he could exit and leave to somewhere that wasn't here.
Faye turned and watched Inuyasha grumpily walk back towards the village. Miroku looked at her and San for a moment, then smiled to himself in amusement and began walking back to the village as well. Faye ran up to San and grinned, and the two followed the monk and hanyou, with a fair amount of distance separating them.

"We're going to be traveling with them!" Faye whispered excitedly to San. "I mean, we need to get back as soon as possible... But if Kagome was able to, then we can find a way, also." She looked down at the ground as they walked, her eyes bright and full of energy. This is so awesome...! I'm excited, yet... We also really need to get back. I need to work on my scenes and study and read and... As her thoughts continued to trail off, her energy and excitement began to dwindle.

"San... How are we going to keep up with school?" She looked at her friend for a moment, and then a terrifying thought occurred to her. "We aren't going to fail college, are we!?" Faye blurted out, causing the monk and hanyou to turn and look at them.
San frowned at her, shaking her head. "Hey, shut up. If we fail college, well.. we'll just fail this semester, and then have to retake everything when we get back.. so we technically can't fail college, just the first semester classes that we're enrolled in. So..." she trailed off, biting her lip and then glancing ahead at the other two. "Hey, don't look back! You'll trip if you don't watch where you're going."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and continued to walk, waving his hand over his shoulder. "Whatever. You two are really loud. Jeez, women..." he muttered.
Even though she felt slightly reassured by San's explanation, Faye still was quite concerned about school. What will Dr. Jones think? Or Prof. Oster? ...will there be a search party for San and I?! Faye began to spazz, although it was more down-toned than usual.

Miroku looked back and saw Faye glancing around, and making small gestures. She seemed almost frantic to him. Looking at Faye in the state she was, and then beside her, San, who appeared rather calm, he was quite intrigued by the contrast. Although he did not look long, he turned back around after a moment.
San rubbed her temples and sighed. "Yeah, I know. It won't be good the first semester. I wonder what our families will think.. what will Yui-san and Joey think? Ughh, how frustrating!" she muttered, running her hands in her hair in frustration before sighing. "It can't be helped for now, I guess..."

Inuyasha's ears twitched, listening to every word and getting more reassurance of their stupidity with every word.
Eventually they reached the village, where Shippou ran up and greeted them. "What happened?" He inquired, but Inuyasaha just ignored him. "Oh, yeah! Miroku, I told Kaede about San and Faye. She's waiting for us to go see her." Inuyasha's ears twitched at this, annoyed at the fact that they were going to be eve more delayed.

"Wait... We're seeing Kaede?" Faye asked aloud, then looked at San and whispered, "Do you think she'll know a way for us to get back?"
"I don't know." San whispered back, frowning at the hanyou's reaction. "I think it's a good idea to ask, though; then we won't trouble these nice strangers anymore." she said, putting great emphasis on "nice" and trying to sound as sarcastic as possible.

Shippou watched them. "Hey, it isn't that bad, I think it's fun to have other people around! Girls are fun to play with, because they aren't like these two..." Inuyasha cast a glance at the kitsune, who shut up shortly after getting Inuyasha's message: shut up or I'll kill you.
"Mm, true, true." Faye nodded in agreement with San. Miroku just mused to himself about Shippou and Inuyasha, and then they all stopped in front of Kaede's hut.

"Well, this is it!" Shippou exclaimed, as Miroku held open the tatami mat, allowing San and Faye to enter first, followed by Shippou and himself. Inuyasha was the last to enter.
San sighed as she entered, seeing an old woman sitting at the fire at the center of the room. She looked up in surprise, seeing the three boys. "What are ye still doing here? I would have thought that, by now, ye would have left.."

Inuyasha grunted in response, growling low. "Yeah? That's what I thought too! But for some reason, we're still here. But hey, you can have these two, and we'll just be on our way. Come on." he started to head towards the door, but Shippou clung to his leg. "Hey! What the.. get off! Shippou!"

Shippou shook his head hard. "Noo! Let's wait, what if Lady Kaede doesn't have a way to push them back to their own time? You already said that they could come with us! But Lady Kaede should have seen them first, I thought..." Inuyasha rolled his eyes in response and just sat down by the door, closing his eyes and holding Tetsusaiga.

San glared at him, irate with his complete disregard for manners. What a jerk... she thought, looking over at Faye for a moment before back at the old miko.

The old miko stood up, brushing herself off and walking towards the two girls. "Hmmm... so you two are the time-travelers, like Kagome-san was..." she said quietly, observing them. "It's very interesting. But I can't say that I know what to do; Kagome-san always used the Bone Eater's Well. If that didn't work for you..." and she glanced at Inuyasha and the monk, who confirmed this with a nod, "...then I can't really say what."

San looked at Faye, letting out a breath and feeling slightly hopeless.
