Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Aah! And I never got to read for beginning acting or music appreciation and and I'm going to miss Dr. Jones's class!" Faye freaked out and she immediately stood up. "We need to find a way to get back." She glanced at San expectantly.
San glared up at her, refusing to move. "Yeah? How are we going to get here? If I'm right, my stupid laptop "teleported" us here. If you look around a bit, we don't have any technology around us whatsoever. So what do you think we do?"
Faye looked down for a moment, realizing that San was right. There was no technology, and if it really was her computer that brought them here, then there wasn't really anything in this time period that would send them back to their time. Unless...

"The well!" She blurted out, and then looked at San hopefully. "I mean, it sound pretty lame, but we could try it! Maybe it'd work."

Meanwhile, Shippou is playing with some of the other children in the village, and using some of his fox magic to entertain them. As he is doing this, Miroku and Inuyasha are sitting on a bench in front of a small shop, discussing plans for continuing on their journey.

"Should we bring them with us, these two girls?" The monk inquired, the question directed toward Inuyasha and himself for contemplation. "They have similar clothing to that of Kagome-sama's... So perhaps they could help us with our search of Naraku."
She looked at her friend skeptically, watching her. "Just because everything else is the same, doesn't mean that there's some freaky well to teleport us back. But hey, I guess it's worth a try; I've always wanted to see Japan. Speaking of, if we go to the well, we go to... Kagome's house. Which is in Japan. Which is on the other side of the world, really far away from Texas." she muttered, rubbing her temples. "So, we're kind of screwed, but atleast we'll still be in our own time.."

Inuyasha grunted, his ears twitching. "What? Bring them too? You're kidding. They look like they can't do anything at all! Atleast Kagome could shoot arrows half-good, but we don't have time to teach them that stuff. We need to get moving now, and not play around. They don't have anything to do with it!"
"Oh... I never thought of that." Faye looked down, but then quickly regained her hope. "Yeah, we'd be in our own time. And I can use my miles to get us a one-way ticket back home!" With this, she took San's hand and made her stand up, "Let's go!" she exclaimed, unnervingly excited about all of this.

"I understand that they may not be of any help to us, Inuyasha, but they very well may be from the same place Kagome-sama is from. How could we abandon them, when we are the only ones that know about it (time travel)?" Miroku explained to the hanyou. Of course it was uncertain that the two young girls could at all help them, and that they may just burden the group, but the monk had a point: San and Faye had no clue what to do here in the Feudal Era, and would probably not be welcomed so well anywhere else in this time [due to their strange clothing, etc.].
San rolled her eyes. "I thought you were saving up for New York..." she muttered, following behind, somewhat irritated by her being unnervingly excited.

The hanyou grunted again, then sighed. "Whatever. If they can help, fine. But we're getting them back to wherever they came from as soon as possible. We don't need anything from them. Besides, we were supposed to head out today. We'll just lose time if we take them. And you better not be wanting to take them because they're women, or anything!"
"Oh.. yeah.. But it can't be helped if we need to use them to get back to our own country." She responded, back to her normal, less excited self.

Faye began to walk out, and held the tatami mat open for San. For a moment, San just stood there, looking at Faye, until Faye sighed and went ahead of her. As they walked out, they saw children playing, and villagers walking around, shopping and what-not. Faye turned to San, "Uh... which way is the well?"

"Yes.. I am sure they are just as eager to return as well. Remember Kagome-sama, she would always be wanting to return." The monk paused for a moment, and decided that he should change the topic from Kagome. "And no... Why would I want to bring them along because they are women?" Although... She reminds me of... He went into thought, leaning forward, with his elbows resting on his knees, his hands folded.
San blinked, staring at Faye. "Uh, what? I thought you knew. You were walking with a purpose. And you know what? I was following you." San sighed and walked a few more steps and looked around. "I really have no idea, and if you don't either, we'll have to ask someone. Maybe one of the kids? They look cute. They remind me of Kumon. And Ivan. I miss Ivan..." she trailed off, watching them.

"Tch, I know what sort of pervert you are... the only reason you changed was - " Inuyasha stopped, glancing over at the monk and realizing what he was about to say before shutting up. An uncomfortable silence hung in the air before he interrupted it again with a "Well, fine. Whatever. Let's take them, then, and get going. We need to find that little rat, too. He's probably off playing around somewhere..." he said, standing up and brushing off himself before starting to walk away, back towards the hut.
"Kumon!" Faye cried, and thought of all the Junior Kumon kids she used to work with. For a moment the two girls were lost in reminiscence, until Faye broke it when a child throw a ball and it rolled over and hit her foot.

"Um, excuse me.." A little boy ran up to San and Faye, with a guilty expression, "I'm sorry for hitting you with our ball." The boy apologized.

Faye knelt down and picked up the ball, smiling and handing it back to the boy. "Oh, it's okay. Don't worry about it." She reassured him, and then realized something. "Say, do you know where the well is?" The boy looked at her strangely, not completely understanding what she was asking. Crap, what was it called... Uh... Lost in thought, Faye stared down at the ground, then suddenly remembered. "Oh! The Bone Eaters Well. Do you know where it is?"

The little boy stared at her, and then looked past her and pointed toward the forest, the same direction San had come from that previous night. "There." He said, and Faye looked in that direction, and then back at the boy.

"Thank you!" Faye said cheerfully to the boy. The boy said goodbye and ran off, and Faye waved goodbye back to him, smiling. He's so cute. As she thought this, the boy was thinking at the same time how strange she was, and how her clothes were weird looking.

Miroku looked up at Inuyasha and watched him as he began to go in search of Shippou, and then slowly got up as well. As he walked in the same direction as Inuyasha, a few steps behind him, he returned to his thoughts.
San followed Faye, scratching her head. "I don't think that kid liked us very much. Didn't even act like Ivan. Ivan would have... aww, man. I miss Ivan.." San continued to mope the whole way, thinking about the kids at Kumon and how she missed them.

Eventually the two got to the well, and San watched it skeptically. "You really think this might work? What if we fall in and break something? Then we're stuck here, with no doctors, or anything.. yeah, that'll heal up nicely." she muttered sarcastically, looking over at Faye.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and grumbled, scratching the back of his head as he walked. Stupid monk. He was still dwelling on that. Of course, it was understandable, and he hadn't really meant to bring it up, but... he stopped, seeing the kitsune. "Oi, Shippou! Hurry up, we're leaving now!"

The kitsune blinked and looked up, throwing the ball back to the kids and saying goodbye and catching up to the other two.
Staring down into the well, Faye looked back up and at San, "Yeah, but Kaede is here, so... It's okay. She can heal stuff." After this, she looked back into the well. "So... Who should jump in first?" When she looked at San, it was pretty obvious who was going to be the one to be the "guinea pig".

As the three continued on, Shippou kept talking to Inuyasha, rambling on about various, unimportant things. As they approached the hut, Inuyasha pulled back the takami mat, about to yell to the two girls to get up, that they were leaving, but the froze. Miroku, still walking, looked up and saw that the hanyou had stopped. "Hm? What is it, Inuyasha?"
San rolled her eyes at the statement that she had made about Kaede. "Yeah, alright, whatever..." she muttered, sitting on the edge of the well. "Alright, fine, here goes. And if this doesn't work, I'm killing you. I'll just pretend it's the floor at the dorm... and not break my ankle." She pushed herself off and closed her eyes, nearly collapsing as her feet hit the ground. "Oww.. what... ugh." Opening her eyes slowly, she looked around and up. "Faye? You there?" Things still felt the same, and she still heard the same birds. "I don't think it worked. You suck."

Inuyasha growled low, dropping the mat back into place. "They aren't here. Where did those idiot women run off to?" he muttered, sniffing around for a second before dashing into the direction of the well. "Why the hell would they go this way!? They can't know about that.."
Bursting into a fit of laughter, Faye fell to the ground, and leaned against the well, holding her stomach because she was laughing so hard. As she was laughing, San was fairly annoyed, and tried yelling at her, but obviously was not heard. San looked around at the stone walling of the well and tugged at one of the vines. Seeming stable, she attempted putting her foot on it while grabbing another vine above her, planning to climb out, only... The vine her foot was on snapped, and she fell back down.

Hearing a noise (the falling of San), Faye calmed to just occasional giggles, and looked into the well. "Are you okay?" She saw San, who was observing the ground, irritated that her plan of climbing out had not worked. "What, did you try to climb out?" Faye inquired, and San just glared at her. "You did, didn't you?! And it didn't work!" Faye exclaimed, and burst into more laughter, only to get the hiccups.

Shippou watched as Inuyasha hurried in the direction of the well. "Wait, Inuyasha!" The kitsune tried to run after him at first, but soon gave up, unable to keep up with the hanyou's speed. "Why is he going toward the well?" He turned, asking the monk. Miroku just watched after him, Could it be possible...

"Shippou, I'm going to go with Inuyasha. Can you tell Kaede-sama about this? Although we should be leaving soon..." He trailed off for a short moment, "Shippou, go to Kaede-sama's and wait there for us, okay?" He turned and ran in the direction Inuyasha had gone.
"Oh, you are such an idiot!!" San yelled up at her, fuming. "You are retarded. And not helpful at all. Stupid!" she called up again, looking around and trying to come up with a way out. "What, Kagome couldn't get out. I thought she always climbed out! How the hell are you supposed to get out?! I refuse to get anyone else's help; Faye, go get something! This is your fault, it was your suggestion!"

Inuyasha's ears twitched, hearing the two girls. "They're so stupid..." As he got closer, he realized that one of them had jumped down the well. He walked up to Faye in irritation, glaring down at her. "What do you two think you're doing, exactly?"
Laughing at San again, Faye sat down and leaned against the well, her laughs and giggles becoming more and more frequently interrupted by hiccups. "What can I possibly get that--hic--will get you out of--"

Cut off mid-sentence, Faye noticed the bare feet on the ground beside her, and then slowly raised her head to look up at the hanyou, and seeing that he was glaring at her, immediately tried stifling her giggles. Accomplishing this much, she couldn't stifle the hiccup that came out right when she looked at him.

"Uh... Well, San thought that we could get back to where we came from if--hic--we jumped down the well, but it didn't really work..." She finished this statement with another hiccup. She looked down, covering her mouth, trying to hide it. And then she realized--she had found something to help San get out of the well (although really, that "something" had actually found her).

Faye leaned over the well, giggling again. "Saaan~ I found something to help get you out of there~!" She called, amused. Inuyasha's ears twitched, and Faye looked up at him and grinned, hiccuping once more.
