Welcome to Gaia! ::

Inuyasha opened one eye and glanced up at her. "Keh, fine." he said, taking it from her and slipping it back on before going back to a sort of resting mode. His ears twitched slightly as his breathing became more even.

Shippou smiled up at her, curling up on the ground and trying to doze off again, succeeding within a few moments.

San blinked, her eyes a bit wide. "Oh. Crap. Uh. Sorry.. my name's San, nice to meet you." she muttered, closing her eyes and feeling really embarrassed. "Uh, yeah.."
Faye put her hands up toward the fire, then rubbed them together, warming herself. Still cold, she scooted closer to the fire, and then felt like her face was too close, so she just turned away to not face it. This feels nice... She thought, as she stared at the doorway, dozing off slightly.

The monk smiled, "It's fine. Don't worry about being rude." There's plenty of that from Inuyasha... He looked forward, seeing the village not too far, and noticing the one hut that was lit. He never put out the fire... Doesn't he know that's dangerous?
Inuyasha sat listening, scoffing. She didn't even lay down to sleep. Is she asleep? Idiot. He mumbled, looking over at her and watching her for a moment. "Stupid." he muttered before closing his eyes again. He listened outside; there were sounds, and the monk was back. "About time."

"Uhh.. thanks." she mumbled in reply, trying not to blush. Rude. I was rude. I made him tell me his name, and then I didn't say anything. Granted, he doesn't know that he's a freaking manga character, but still..
Yawning, Faye sighed and rubbed her eyes, and then faced the fire again. For a moment she lost focus, and then refocused on the fire, only to lose focus again. Her eyelids felt heavy, and then she fell over in front of the fire, curled up awkwardly, sleeping.

As San was in deep thought about how everything was "really really weird", Miroku wondered if she was from the same time as Kagome, since her clothes looked similar. Keeping his thoughts on this to himself, he decided to break the silence, "So, this is the village. Kaede-sama's hut is right here," the monk gestures to the hut that they are approaching, "and I'll be staying in the one over there, with the fire still not put out." He says this last part with slight irritation.

"Well, I will see you in the morning. Get a good night's rest." Miroku smiled, and held the takami mat open for her to enter. San was hesitant. "It's all right, Kaede-sama won't mind you staying here."
Inuyasha smirked slightly, watching her with interest. That was a weird way to fall asleep, for one thing. It probably wasn't very comfortable, and she'd get sore in the morning. Oh well, her fault... he thought for a moment before grunting and standing up, moving her body to a slightly more normal-looking sleeping position and then draping his haori back on top of her. He rolled his eyes at the sight and then went back to where he was sitting, closing his eyes again. Shippou opened one eye at this, having heard the hanyou get up, and looked over at Faye. He sniggered, earning a hit on the head from the half-demon. He had thrown a shoe.

San looked inside and clenched her hands together into fists before grinding her teeth. "Well, uh. I.. eh, is it okay if I just go with you? I think it'd be a bit weird to have her wake up, and like... see a stranger.." she muttered, running her hands through her hair. "So, yeah."
With haori to keep her warm, Faye continued sleeping. While curled up by the fire, she pulled the haori more around her in her sleep.

Miroku turned to San, rather startled. "What? But I thought..." Before he continued, he observed her reaction, then looked toward the hut where Inuyasha and Shippou were staying. Well, maybe he won't say anything if I bring her... The monk turned to face San again and gave a reassuring smile. "Sure, that's fine. It's just a little ways down." He gestured to to the hut a couple [houses] down.

As they walked, it was rather silent, almost (or probably) an awkward silence. Once the two reached the hut, the monk braced himself for Inuyasha's reaction as he pulled back the takami mat and stepped back, gesturing for San to step inside first.
Inuyasha glanced up, about ready to berate the monk for coming in late - what he hadn't realized was that he brought some woman to sleep there too. "Hey, what the hell are you thinking? This isn't a place where you can sleep with girls, or anything, you know. I don't need to see those things that you're thinking! I know what a huge pervert you are!" Inuyasha's voice got louder with each sentence, and then he glanced down at Faye and tried to stay quiet. He let out a growl of irritation. "Take her somewhere else, you stupid monk. We're leaving tomorrow; aren't you at all focusing on that?!"

San blinked as she stepped in, thanking him quietly before looking around. "What the.." she muttered, seeing Inuyasha first and listening to the reaction. Idiot, just like I thought. But... Then her eyes landed on Faye. "Oh, crap! She's here too!"
Faye, being the hard-rock sleeper that she is, didn't wake up to this. She mumbled something in her sleep and then rolled over, still holding the haori around her.

The monk froze, then glanced at San, hoping that this wasn't what she was thinking of him: a perverted monk who sleeps with random women. "I do not sleep with women, Inuyasha." He said in a serious tone, although the hanyou only scoffed at this. Miroku sighed, then noticed Faye sleeping on the ground.

"You tell me not to bring women, yet her lies a young girl sleeping by the fire, wrapped in your haori." He said flatly, yet with some amusement. The only other person he had seen Inuyasha really care for was Kagome...

He turned to San, looking at her as she stared in shock at the girl basically knocked out by the fire. "Telling by your reaction..." he paused for a moment, "Is this who you were looking for?" He gestured to Faye, who was basically dry by now.

During all this commotion, the kitsune twitched, then sat up and rubbed his eyes sleepily. "Huh..?" He looked at Inuyasha, and then saw the monk. "Miroku!" Shippou jumped up, more awake now. "You're back!" He began to run over to him, and then saw San standing next to him awkwardly. "Who is this? Her clothes are strange... Hey! We found someone else," the kitsune gestured to the sleeping Faye, "who has strange clothes, too! Although she is really clumsy... More clumsy than--" before he could continue, Inuyasha smacked him on the head, keeping him from revealing anything.
San blinked, looking at the monk. "Uh, yeah..." she mumbled, then sat next to Faye on the floor. "Hey, stupid, you should wake up." she muttered, poking her side. "How can you sleep so comfortably in a place you don't know?"

Shippou was whining in the corner at Inuyasha, who promptly ignored him. "I only dragged her here because she fell into the river because of stupid Shippou. Someone had to be responsible, and this kid isn't going to do anything for her. Besides, why are you asking me the questions, huh?"
"Mmm.." Faye grumbled and tried to smack San away in her sleep. "No... I don't wanna go to bed..." She stubbornly rolled over, pulling the haori over her head, causing it to not to be covering her feet any more. Faye curled up more so she was almost completely under it.

Shippou came over to where Faye and San were, and heard Faye mumble in her sleep. "What? But she's already sleeping... Do you think she's dreaming?" The kitsune looked up at San curiously. "Oh yeah! I'm Shippou!" He held out his hand, "Nice to meet you!"

The monk watched the two, "Shippou, you never cease to amaze me," he commented. He looked at Faye, and then at Inuyasha. "She fell into a river? How odd..."
San glared slightly at her before turning to Shippou. "Huh? Oh, uh.. hi. My name is San." she mumbled, then looked back over to Faye as she heard her. "What the.. you're already sleeping, stupid." she mumbled, pulling the haori away from her. "Hey, come on. Wake up!" she said, poking her a bit harder and then looking at Shippou. "She's just really weird. She always acts like this. You know what? She even laughs in her sleep sometimes without warning."

Inuyasha growled. "You know what? Go to sleep, all of you. We need to get going in the morning, and no one's gonna want to wake up!"
"Mmnn..!" Faye reached for the haori, but fell over in the process, her face landing on the ground. "Ow..." She slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes, then yawned. "Whaat...?"

When she finally gained focus, she saw her roommate looking at her, quite annoyed. "Huh? San!? Hey, why are you--?" She then looks around. "Huh? Why are we..? What is this?" Faye notices the kitsune looking at her oddly, and then sees that everyone is staring at her weird. What is this?! I was in our room, and San had vanished, and then that stupid light...

Shippou watched her, a bit concerned. "Um, Faye, are you okay? We're here in the hut, with Inuyasha, remember? He lent you his haori so you wouldn't be cold!" He grinned as he gestured to Inuyasha. Faye glanced at the haori in San's hands, and then at Inuyasha. She let her eyes fall to the floor, unsure of what to say, and very confused.

The monk watched them all, and then agreed with the hanyou, "Yes, Inuyasha is right. We should all get our rest. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. We can work things out in the morning." He smiled in San's direction.

"Yeah." Shippou yawned, "Let's get to sleep." He looked at San and Faye, "Goodnight!" he called, and then ran off to a corner across from Inuyasha [to sleep].
San sighed and gave Faye back the haori. "Hey, here's your blanket." she said, smiling slightly at her before looking around cautiously and then staying sitting up. "I'll just be awake." she whispered to Faye. "You go back to sleep. We need a way to go home. Tomorrow's Monday."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes again, finally glad to have everyone going to bed now. They had to get moving as soon as possible, and everyone could be really lazy. He settled back down and closed his eyes, holding Tetsuiga again.
That night, Faye had mysterious dreams. She dreamt that she had to go to play analysis, but that she was late, and when she got there, Shippou was in her seat.

"What!? What are you doing here?!" She blurted out, pointing at Shippou. Everyone in the class turned to look at her strangely, as if she were the odd one out. Shippou jumped down from the desk and was about to respond when the doors flew open.

"Yo." The familiar hanyou said, as he walked in, testsusaiga resting across his shoulder in some heroic manner. Faye jumped, startled, and then her professor told her to get out of class because she wasn't contributing to the discussion of Fences.

"What? But I--" Faye began, only to be dragged off by Inuyasha, and Shippou following. "No! I can't go back! I need to study! I can't fail..."

"...like she...did...!" Faye continued the statement aloud while in her sleep. "No!" She sat up abruptly, reaching her hand out to where Dr. Jones and the rest of the class had been, as if hoping that this would bring them to their senses.

For a moment she sat there, until she heard a muffled laugh from San. She turned to look at her, and then gave a slight glare. "Don't laugh. It was a scary dream! Anyways, we need to..." She was about to say "get to class", until she realized that what happened last night [outside of her dream] was not a dream.

Faye looked about the room, not seeing anyone in the hut except for her and San. So it wasn't a dream... crap.
San laughed, watching Faye go through her dream and say funny things. She also did some weird hand motions, which only had her laughing more, although she was trying to be quiet about it. When Faye finally woke up, she laughed for a good minute before she calmed down. "Yeah, I know. Thought it'd be a dream, but I haven't woken up. It's horrible. Today's Monday. I haven't finished Jedidiah Smith. I haven't done my Chaptire 2, Lecion 2, AND we're still stuck here. No class!" She said, throwing herself backwards onto the floor. "The others left."
