"Silence!" The princess ordered harshly, the demonic power in the room increasing with her anger, causing the life to be drained from San more quickly (although no noticeable effects have taken place... yet). "You will remain here until your death." She began to leave, turning to her servant and whispering an order, "Go and dispose of that girl before she regains consciousness."

"As you wish." The woman replied, and left the room to fulfill her master's wish, leaving San and the princess alone in the room.

Before leaving, the princess turned back to face San, "You will remain in that spot so as to not interfere once that monk comes tomorrow." After she said this, San's hands where chained to the wall. The woman turned her back to San and left.

"Inuyasha!" Shippou followed after him, "Wait! But what if Faye and San are sleeping? Are you going to wake them up?" He asked in a rather whiney voice.

"Surely you would not go so far as to wake up two young, beautiful sleeping women. They need their rest." The monk added, supporting Shippou's concern. "The exorcism of this demon can wait until tomorrow morning, at least."
San glared at the woman, rolling her eyes. "Jeez, thanks! What if I have to go to the bathroom?" She yelled out loudly, hoping that maybe Faye would hear. She couldn't be that far... well, nevermind. She probably could. "This damn estate is too big... no one would hear me." She said in the same loud tone, trying to attract someone's attention. "No one would hear me but SOMEONE SHOULD!"

Inuyasha whirled around to glare at the monk. "...They wouldn't be sleeping. They shouldn't be, it's really... early." he muttered, scratching his head and sighing. "Fine, so maybe they're asleep. They are women... well, fine. Whatever. I guess one night is fine..." he muttered, frowning and sitting in a corner before thinking about Naraku and their next plan of action.
"Mm...music...quiz...." Faye mumbled in her sleep, and then turned onto her side. Unknown to her, that same woman who came and took San away was going to "dispose" of her. Although, before this could be accomplished, the servant had been approached by an unknown figure that delayed her mission.

Relieved by Inuyasha's response, Shippou and Miroku sat back down. The kitsune retreated to a corner and curled his tail around him, falling asleep. Miroku sat across the room from Inuyasha and closed his eyes, resting for a while.
Soon, it was morning, and Inuyasha's ears twitched, listening to the early morning sounds. He opened one eye, looking around and seeing that the other two were still sleeping. Standing up and stretching, he took a deep breath and then prodded them with his foot. "Oi. We got a night's sleep here; you shouldn't complain anymore! Let's go get the girls, and we'll go now." he said, glaring at them. It was only morning, and already Inuyasha was grumpy...

San, in the meantime, was still chained, and still irritated, but tired, having slept minimally the night before. "Ugh. Would someone just COME HERE ALREADY?!" she screamed again, coughing after a moment. She had spent the majority of her waking moments yelling at no one in particular and trying to get someone's attention. Apparently, it hadn't worked.
Grumbling in her sleep, and rolling over to one side, Faye shut her eyes tight, and then opened them, squinting from the light. "Mm..." She sat up and rubbed her eyes, "San..?" She looked about the room, only to find herself alone. "Where did she..?" Pausing for a moment, she suddenly remembered what had happened.

"Take this, and dispose of Inuyasha." The shadowed figure ordered the princess's servant. He handed her a shard of the shikon no tama, and she nodded, leaving with it.

Faye got up and began to head toward where she thought the others might be. She stopped walking for a moment, "Wait... I don't know where their room is..!" Walking a bit farther while glancing around, as if hoping to find some trace of her new-found companions, she stopped somewhere and just leaned against a wall and slid to the floor and sighed, surrendering to the given circumstances.

Shippou slowly sat up and yawned, while the monk stood up, "Inuyasha, must you always be in a rush?" He inquired, brushing off his robes.

Meanwhile, the princess Akira entered the room where San was still confined. "Ah, still conscious, are we? Yet you have been weakened greatly by the demon possessing this room, and all of that racket you were making last night only helped weaken you." She smirked, "Soon the monk will be here, and his spiritual powers will be absorbed, increasing my demonic power."
Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "You do know that Kagome is still in Naraku's clutches? Why do I have to remind you?! You should already know this! And you, you're still searching for Naraku for... well, for your own reasons. Shippou, you decided to tag along! I'm tired of all these damned distractions!" he growled, leaning against the wall. "We need to get things done, and get them done now! You know, we haven't done anything much since those girls have come. I don't think they're a good influence, and now you're just using them as an excuse to sleep over at places when we could get closer to finding Naraku."

San rolled her eyes at the demon. "Yeah, well. If you need a lame monk and someone like me to increase your spiritual powers, hey. You probably really, really, REALLY need it." she said, smirking and leaning back against the wall again. "What is it, you're so weak that you decided to try and capture some random travelers? That's so stupid. Whatever. Good always wins, bad is defeated, that sort of thing. I bet you're used to it..." she trailed off, staring at the ground.
Shippou looked down at the floor guiltily, feeling bad for forgetting about Kagome. Everyone was silent for a moment, and then the monk spoke up, "You're right, Inuyasha." He said, looking at the hanyou supportively, "Our main priority is defeating Naraku as soon as possible and rescuing Kagome-sama."

After this statement, the monk went into his own thoughts, mainly about the past. She fought so hard to defeat Naraku... And yet... As he recalled what happened, his emotions gradually began to change to being more intense, until he suddenly sensed something. Miroku turned to the hanyou, "Inuyasha! I sense a demonic aura nearby!"

Hearing footsteps approach her, Faye looked up and turned, facing the direction from which the footsteps were coming from. She watched the corner of the corridor, listening to the increasing sound of the steady footsteps. At first she thought it may have been Inuyasha or Miroku, but surely they would be together, not alone. What if it's someone else...? I can't be found out..! With this thought in mind, Faye jumped up and began to run in the opposite direction.

"She's attempting to escape." The servant whispered under her breath. She turned the corner just in time to see Faye turn the corner at the other end. "You cannot escape."

"Silence!" The princess hissed at San, and silenced her, making San unable to speak. "You pest. Once I have absorbed that monk's power, I will have spiritual powers that will keep me from being exercised. Do not think so highly of yourself as to believe that I would actually need you. You are merely a lure to bring the monk here." Akira explained coldly.
Inuyasha dashed off, following the monk before sniffing the air himself and looking around, trying to figure out and pinpoint the demon's exact location. "Going through all these rooms is going to take forever." he growled, opening doors and looking inside. "Where is that damned demon?! We should have done this last night!"

The servant leaped at Faye, her hand extended as if it were a claw. "You will die today, and no one will be the wiser!"

San rolled her eyes again and tried to think loudly (as if that would make her hear). YEAH? Well that monk wouldn't come anyway! There's no need. So, she tried to exaggerate her eye rolling as best as she could, and turned away from her again, sighing and staring at the floor.
As the kitsune and monk accompanied Inuyasha in his search for the demon, Miroku walked ahead as Inuyasha opened a door to one of the rooms, and then turned to face him, "Inuyasha, I'm going to go ahead and find Princess Akira and go to the castle to exorcise the demon there."

Inuyasha shut the door in frustration and then turned to Miroku, giving a response of agreement for the monk to go on ahead so that they would be more productive. Shippou glanced between the two as the monk went on ahead, unsure of who to stay with. After a while of reluctancy, Shippou decided to go with Miroku, but by the time he had made this decision, Miroku was already out of sight, so he was stuck with Inuyasha.

Turning her head to see the same woman that took San away about to kill her, Faye froze for a split second, and then ducked, just barely missing the servant's hand. What the--? What's going on..?! She could barely think, and fell against the wall beside her as she avoided another attack.

Akira looked to the door, cutting off her glare at San, "He's coming." She turned to face San once more, and smirked. "Are you hopeful that you will be rescued now?" The princess said with a mocking tone in her voice.
Inuyasha continued to slam through the doors with the Tetsusaiga ready at hand, trying to find the demon. The scent was everywhere, and he growled in frustration after a while. "Damnit! I can't find it anywhere! This is just a huge waste of time..." he muttered, closing his eyes and trying to sniff it out again. He realized that the demon wasn't anywhere in this wing, and left, with Shippou trailing close behind.

The servant girl gave her a horrible glare, trying to figure out a way that would kill her quickest. "You're really fast, but it's okay; you won't live for much longer." she whispered in a harsh sort of tone, her eyes glowing slightly and her arm extended again as she lunged.

Meanwhile, San smirked back, mouthing the words "are you hopeful that you will be rescued now?" with the best sarcastic expression she could make.
