Smirking at her attitude I accepted her deny."Well if you ever do don't let pride get in the way I'll help anyways." told her that, but I dont think it made any diffrence in her mind."Oh! I almost forgot what I was doing, would you like to tag along with me? I'm searching for some good berries!" I asked her I dont know if she would care. Just thought it would be nice to ask. I waited for her answer slowly becoming impatient.

I was glad that Ember got down fine, but someone i didn't rather like came up to us. Nell wasn't mean or anything, she just came off as a cocky jerk at times. But in life you couldn't expect for all the people you meet to like you or for you to like them, so like everything else i didn't like, i basically ignored her. When she spoke of berries i had my mind on my stash of Pecha, and the tree i had found today. I could have told them about it, but I'd rather keep it a secret between me and anyone else who found it themselves. I rested my arms around my chest like i usually did and slowly drifted away from them.

" Uhh, i think I'll continue my little stroll alone. Buh-bye! "

I pouted once again when she was talking about my pride. Well, when you were always picked on, it should only be natural to defend your pride. However at the the word, berries, I decided not to say anything about it. "Yeah, sounds like a plan." I said, smiling. I walked over to Nell's side, but stopped to look at Azu. It seemed like he didn't want to come along and I couldn't really blame him. Sometimes Nell would have an attitude that would make you want to slap her. Then again, I always thought of Nell as a fighter. Someone who enjoyed it, but didn't always want to fight all the time. "Okay, see ya later Azu!" I said.

Little Miss Magic

Now entering, Miss Magic! Though no one was around as I stood in a large medow with my hands raised in the air. Wonderful. Lowering my arms I looked around, my eyes still a bit blurry after taking a nice long nap under the warm sun. I had nothing better to do so I decided to start picking grass out of hte ground then float over to a nearby lake and throw the green blades in. I kept doing this for a while now.

❝I woke with an ache in my stomach, realizing how hungry I was. I hadn't eaten yesterday because I had been too busy scrambling around the 'island' they had put us on for quite some time now. But the hunger hit, and it hit hard. So I stretched a bit, before leaving my rocky shelter, heated by the volcanoes distant warmth, and raced out into the forest, a terrain I wasn't yet familiar with. After not too long, I came across two silhouettes. And at an instant I knew it was the cocky Nell, and fiery Ember. I slowed my run to a small pace, and shouted out a greeting.

"Heya, guys. Are you looking for something?" ❞

A little disapointed Azu didn't want to come with us. "Well allright then," a little aggrivated. I was starting to head off into the trees when I saw some one running at us. "Who's that?" I probably shouldn't have said it in such a snotty voice though, BUT! That's just who I am. I finnaly recognized the form, it was that volcano mutt. He is nice and all, just he barely ever left the volcanic area. So we didn't see him around much, well I didn't atleast. "Hey!"

❝I halted to a complete stop in front of Nell and Ember. My hearing had gotten better, and I had overheard Nell's comment. "Watch your tone, Nell. I ain't as small as a look." I growled. I may be small-boned, but I was rather strong now. Wheeling around to face Ember, I waved sheepishly.

"Seriously, though, you lookin' for some berries?" ❞

I blinked when the boy had turned to wave at me. He didn't really seem familar to me at all, but he seemed like a nice guy. I gave him a small smile and waved back. I looked to Nell for her to answer him, since it seemed like she knew him better than me. I never really liked talking to people who I didn't really know. However, now that I got a good look at him, he did seem a bit familar. Sadly though, I couldn't remeber a name or anything. It was obivious he was someone I didn't get to talk to often, so it was hard for me to remeber his name. But since he seemed familar I decided to answer. "Yeah, want to come?" I asked.

My only concern in life is to stay alive. I really had nothing i expected to live for, but i had promised myself that i would escape the nightmare that is death as long as i can. The concept its self drives me insane at night, so you could say that death is, my one and only crippling fear. I was happily skipping about in the forest, when i walked into an open meadow. In this meadow i saw someone, she seemed to be ripping grass out of the ground, and throwing it into the lake that was only a few feet away. I watched from the trees and made sure i was hidden by the leaves and branches. Gripping onto the branches, i just stared at her. I started to make the sounds i always did when i was either bored, or a little nervous. In this case both. Someone once told me it sounded like i was singing "nahh" over and over again very quietly, which sounded just about right.

I unfurled from the ball i was sleeping in all day, thats what i mostly do, i never come in contact with anyone else on this stupid island. I arched my back and curled my tail up as i stretched myself out, standing on my feet and looking around, as usual no one was around me, everyone knew to keep clear from me. My ears twitched from all the commotion but as usual i ignored that, giving out a scoff of disgust and wandered around a bit. After a while of walking i sat myself underneath the shade of a tree near the shores edge, just staring out into the water, my lightly colored crimson eyes sparkling as the water did. I sighed as my ears went down, staring at my reflection in the water and seeing the monster i have become, intentionally my paw like hand spalshed the water, dispersing the reflection and i kept doing it over and over again as it came back.

I stopped to look into the small lake to see it fill up and swirl with grass. It was like one of those optical illusions, I loved it! I did this about every other day. . .I probably shouldn't though because it ruined the grass. Oh well, like I cared. . it would grow back anyway. As I was about to take another hand full of grass I started to hear something. . a Nahh nahh noise? I looked towards the trees where the noise was coming from. ."Swift." I said and a bunch of yellow stars headed in the direstion of the noise.

Usually I never expected anyone to attack me for any reason at all, but today was different i guess? The girl had sent a "swift" attack straight at me, the golden stars hitting me and bursting on contact. It was nothing extreme, and i could tell she wasn't trying to hurt me much. But still, the fact that she attacked me made me want to sort of cry for some reason. I was always called a cry baby, or a sissy for not being able to handle much anything and being pretty shy. I fell off of the tree i was holding onto, and my bottom hit the ground with a quiet thump. I gasped violently at my realization, and tried to stand but fell back down.

" Ahh! What did you do that for! "

I couldn't hold it back any longer, i started whining aloud and holding my long sleeves to my face to conceal my shame.

I stopped to stare at the person who fell from the trees. . .suddenly crying into their sleeve. I wanted to stay away and float off somewhere but I just couldn't leave a crying person/pokemon alone. "Aww don't cry you little thing, I'm sorry." I said floating towards him. Stopping just in front of him I patted him on the head. "Here, have my berry?" I said thinking that would cheer him up.

Obviously I didn't expect someone who had just attacked me, to walk up to me and apologize. I slowly calmed down, and looked up at her. My face was down, as i stood up very slowly, i didn't want her seeing me about to blush from total embarrassment. I kept my arms close together around my chest, and spoke slowly and quietly, sniffling.

" Uhh, n-no thank y-you...! "

I shook my head slowly and took a step back from her. I could tell she meant well by offering a berry but i just didn't want it, and i was still a little scared of her.

I blinked, that was probably the first time anyone had refused a berry. Straange! I smirked playfully as he backed up. "Fine then. . .I'll just make you my pet! I snickered lightly after this was said I would have waited for his response but I didn't want him to decline so I quickly floated further up into the air. "I have some things to do for now, be a good pet while Miss Magic is gone!" I said then floated off towards the lab, I was to be studied a bit more around this time. . .I got free berries if I went willingly.
