xxxThis is VENOM speakingxxx

The stage was empty, but yet the whole auditorium was filled with screaming fans. The lights suddenly started to dim, until the whole room was pitch black. From the darkness came a steady, slow beat from a bass drum, almost as if mimicking a heartbeat. A few seconds later the low strum of the bass guitar came in, and slowly, the pace of the beat was picking up. The next thing to come in was the was the rhythm guitar, setting the rhythmic tone of the music. The lights slowly, very slowly started to light the stage.

Fire erupted from the sides of the stage, and the pace of the music sped up as the lead guitarist started to play. The light from the fire as it died away illuminated the members that were on the stage. Skull was at his drum set, Crash was the rhythm guitar, Demon was on the bass, and then there was Phoenix playing as the lead, but where... where was the singer? The band didn’t even notice his absence. The crowd was starting to get confused, and then the lights went from dark to the brightest they have ever been in a matter of milliseconds. A dark figure flew in from above, flipping right onto the stage. The figure slid back and grabbed the microphone that was sitting on the stage. Finally the lights dimmed back to normal standards, and there, there was Venom, the singer of Destiny Unknown. The singer picked up his guitar that had been laying beside the mic and smiled out towards the crowd. Oh how he loved to make a dramatic entrance every now and then, and to think that it was all planned by Demon.. for once. The sound of the beat began to change as Venom started to play, the song itself changing.

The dynamic level of the instruments dropped drastically as Venom stepped forward. When he spoke his voice was soft, yet serious, but for some reason unknown to the fans, it had a sullen feeling to it. “I’m glad all of you have come to support us all these years, and it really has been fun for me... and for everyone else of Destiny Unknown, but...” The singer looked away, gaining back his composure. “But... This will be Destiny Unknown’s last concert. After tonight, Destiny Unknown will be no more... so tonight...” Venom trailed off, and sighed, closing his eyes. For a moment he didn’t speak, he just stood there, gathering his thoughts. He slowly opened his eyes, and they burned with a fire like they never have before. “But tonight will be a night that no one will ever forget!!!!” The band picked up their volume, and the final concert of Destiny Unknown started.

                      ♩♫♬♩♫♬♩♫♬

A groan escaped the former singer’s lips as he pulled himself out of bed. It was odd that he have that dream today. Today was the day, after two years of hiding, he was going to sing... well at a karaoke contest. That night was truly a night that wasn’t easily forgotten, but really who still remembered Destiny Unknown? They had broken up, and only the band members knew the reason why. Now what exactly was that reason? It was because Venom, was a pokemorph. Now why exactly did that pose as a problem? Well, it was the fact that he had kept it a secret all this time, and he exposed himself all so that he could save his friend, now was that such a bad thing?

The morning sun was bright, and the manager had yet to drag himself out of bed. He had spent the almost the whole night flipping through videos of Destiny Unknown’s concerts, and he ended up getting lost in the past, but now, now is the present, right now there was a festival going on for the upcoming Crown Tournament. Among these festivities was the karaoke contest, which is where Sairin would be singing in public after two years.

With a yawn the manager, yes now he was a manager, not a singer, a manager to a singer. With a yawn he moved about his room and grabbed his guitar. Usually, he would leave it here, but today he just felt like carrying around, and he did so every now and then. As long as it stayed in it’s case, it was fine. If anyone were to see it they might think that he stole Venom’s guitar, who they might start having suspicions that he was Venom himself, and for now, he just wanted to stay in hiding.

                      ♩♫♬♩♫♬♩♫♬

It was quiet an occasion outside. People were bustling about laughing and having a ball, and just seeing this made a smile spread across the pokemorph’s lips. There was no telling where Hirumi was, but just for today he would let her off, since it was a special occasion.

The manager was well on his way when a very familiar song started playing somewhere near, a song by Destiny Unknown. Sairin stopped and looked around, only to notice that it was coming from a store right next to him. It wasn’t just the music that was playing, but it was a music video, a music video of that night. The final night of Destiny Unknown. For a moment the seviper seemed to forget what he was doing and went over to watch the video. There in the dead center of the stage was Venom, himself two years ago. Black hair with the sides being longer and dyed a vibrant red, which at the time represented the poisonous seviper fangs that he did not have. The times they had spent together had been fun, but that was all over with now. Destiny Unknown had disbanded, and had no thoughts of getting back together.

In order to leave the life of Destiny Unknown behind Sairin changed himself, physically at least. Now no one even seems to recognize him, even with him standing here in front of his old self, which is what he had been hoping for. He threw Venom away, and turned back into Sairin, leaving Destiny Unknown behind, and becoming a manager. Now what exactly happened to the other members of Destiny Unknown? Sairin wasn’t exactly sure, but he knew for a fact that they were all having a good life somewhere, actually just last year he had run into Kesoko or Skull, not that the percussionist had even noticed him, but it is always good thing to know when old friends are living well.

“But tonight will be a night that no one will ever forget!!!!”

“Indeed that was a night that is not easily forgotten, rumors have been spreading about seeing members of the band, but they are never together. Right now now four members have been sighted, but the whereabouts of Venom are unknown.” A mischievous like smile spread across the ex-singers lips. It seemed like his idea of hiding had worked out perfectly, and to think that later on tonight he would be ruining it all. He was going to blow his cover all because he wanted to have a bit of fun. Who knows, he might actually meet someone from the band while he’s at it!

The newscast ended and Sairin went back to wandering about the flowing groups of people. He adjusted the guitar case’s strap on his shoulder and stopped. What was he going to do after his identity is exposed? Or what if it wasn’t exposed at all? Of course his singing is the same, but the fact that he looks nothing like he did two years ago might contribute to the fact that he still has a chance of not being discovered. Well now wasn’t the time to worry about it, now was the time to have some fun!

Mizuko woke up from her short, greatly needed nap. Had she expected such a hectic morning? No, she hadn't expected it at all. It wasn't totally unwelcome; she would rather have an exciting first day than a totally uneventful one. Still, it had made her extremely tired. She wasn't the kind of Pokemorph who could handle so many things happening at once like that. Because of her fear, she had already decided that she would stay in the safety of the room she was staying in or near Raiden at all times. That was just the only way this trip would work out. There was no way Mizuko would let herself be separated from him again; that had been a terrifying experience. The idea of not knowing where he was or when he would be back... that wasn't something that she could deal with. It wasn't that she wasn't willing to deal with it; it was that she couldn't. If she could, she would go outside on her own sometimes when she had the chance. Mizuko was afraid that she would hold Raiden back and keep him from doing something that he wanted to do.

She had already decided that she wanted to get over her fear little by little in order to keep herself from upsetting Raiden. If she could come to the point where there was at least one person she was comfortable with, she wouldn't be following her partner around twenty-four hours of the day and seven days of the week. Mizuko was sure that there had been times when Raiden hadn't done something because of her, and she wanted to keep that from happening ever again. A partnership meant that they should do things for each other, right? Why was Mizuko never doing anything for Raiden? The Crown Tournament was the least she could do; everything else was just her way of trying to make up for everything he had done for her. It wasn't easy, but it was something that Mizuko had to do.

She thought back to the days she had spent in the Pokemorph center. She would never go back to that. Mizuko couldn't wait until she was competing in the tournament; it was what she was looking forward to on the island. She knew that the people competing with her would probably take her for granted. Mizuko planned to use that to her advantage; she could take them down without them expecting it. Was she confident? Not at all. She just had a feeling that she could win if she tried. It was nothing for sure, and it would take a lot of hard work. Still, she was getting excited. After all, the Crown Tournament was why they had come to Enia Island in the first place. She was here, so she might as well win. Mizuko stared out the window. Her time island was going to be fun, wasn't it? She hoped so.

Nakajima Takeshi

■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■

Takeshi was much of an early person, despite of what happen within the last couple of days of which he had to...go through all that trouble of coming to Enia Island and of course sign up for this badge and pick it up. Sheesh, sure they needed paperwork but not as much as he would've thought! Looking up towards the sky, he noticed how sunny the morning was. Maybe it was his imagination, but he needs to pick up traveling again. He had yet to go to the Johto and Kanto region after all. He looked around, seeing people enjoying the part parts of the festival, it was almost finished. The Crown Tournament was tomorrow and the festival will end. He was fiddling with Tori's Pokeball, debating whether to let that mischievous Weavile out of his little capsule. Last time he had to keep a good eye on that Pokemon, quite a bit of a troublemaker he was. At least he didn't have Jun out, that would've made it worse!

Another sigh, what should he do to pass the time? It was a rather lazy and boring morning. There is that swimming race, but as he knew, Masaru would be against it through and through. He's a flying fire type, of course he'll have a dislike for water. "Masaru, I'm bored. Where do you want to go?" And he gave a chuckle, trying to figure out a way to entertain himself and get rid of the slow passing time. The two were just walking around the town and...pretty much waiting for the day. Sure, he had enjoyed himself for the past couple of days, but now it's just...waiting. A boring, long, waiting game. Heck, he wouldn't even mind challenging a trainer or two right now. But currently, everyone is enjoying themselves in the festival. While he does appreciate that and doesn't mind a break, sometimes it just breaks through. His habit of getting bored at times no matter how patient he is. He may seem like a knightly hero, but heroes need vacations sometimes....

Takeshi was quite pumped up for tomorrow. He hadn't exactly had a good battle since he was at the Gym. (The same phase as when Volkner had no motivation to battle either), at that time, he was pretty certain this was going to change and spark his heart and love for Pokemon and Pokemorphs all over again. Maybe this sensation was dead for a while, but he hadn't been this pumped since...well, since he arrived on the island. And he was still getting pumped up, clucking his tongue he watched as others twisted and turn around and about. Maybe getting somewhere? Who knows, but at least he should enjoy this festival while he can. Shrugging, the two were just wandering around, hoping for something to happen. That is before he turned his head to check out some of the booths and saw some students from Asahiru Academy doing theirs. Bought back a lot of memories, how long ago was he there attending the same classes that they did. He doesn't remember a guy wearing a dress though- WHAT? Blinking a couple of times, he saw one booth set up as a maid cafe. Except...the guys were in maid outfits and to add to that, the females....were doing a freaking host club? Okay, that's something totally not out of the ordinary. Sheesh. Maybe he was quite lucky to graduate early.

Right as he was about to point out that...interesting event, he ended up having to be pointed at. By a child no less. "Mum! Look! Isn't that the Gym Leader from Sunyshore Citeh?" Takeshi chuckled and gave a small wave to him. He wasn't surprised at how some people can manage to recognize him. He WAS the leader for a period of time. Heck, he would even find it normal to be challenged by his old challengers too! Some experiences wasn't exactly pleasant however. Some trainers he gotten along with, some were quite sore losers, and some beaten up his electrifying team and mocked it. Despite all the types of people in the world, Takeshi didn't fine it funny to point and laugh at another's mistake. Rather, he pity those who do; a childish act. Coming back from those thoughts, he turned his head to Masaru, who was around and about as well. Although Takeshi wasn't in this condition, maybe something to snack on is an idea to get through the day without much boringness. "Hungry?"

Masaru had followed his trainer through the morning and nearing afternoon. The morning, however was a terrible disaster .. not knowing how to read, he had gone through the whole island trying to figure out the name of the center. Usually it was on-sight sort of, most of the Pokecenters looked the same, but the one was built into the stadium and hid very well with everything else. He had found his trainer, sitting there waiting for him though he didn't seem to mind at all. But that was over and done with, the only thing now was that Masaru was nodding off while he kept a steady hand on his trainer as he yawned and followed sleepily. " .. this is boring, can't we take a nap somewhere .. ? " The charizard held tight to the shoulder, stifling yet another yawn as he removed his hand to drop at his side and rest his thin there instead. There was nothing of interest here .. he needed something exciting ... he needed action ... he needed a Pokemon battle. Masaru's eyes rolled, not finding the right trainer to battle, directing his gaze on a couple of smaller morphs. Someone he wouldn't consider to be a challenge for someone like himself. A bulbasaur, wurmple ... nothing at all. Torching something to death wasn't at ann in his style either, so he moves his brown eyes forward as he slumped farther onto his trainer, signaling he was completely void of energy and needed to wake up, accompanying a small grunt to make it more obvious. " .. can't we go inside .. ? " A frown had decorated his features as he looked on at the trainer's cheek ( since the rest of his face was hardly visible where he was resting his head ).

With the tournament so crowded, they could have at least lasted about five ongoing battles against some trainers, considering they weren't spraying water at him. Dodging water was the worst, especially if there's bubbles flying all over the place. As skinny as Masaru was, he couldn't avoid those damn bubbles, especially if they were aimed all at him. The Charizard mused on about his battle, mumbling incoherent things in his Takeshi's ear without meaning to. Masaru had by this time, removed his chin fron the other's shoulder and walked past him bumping into him as he yawned again, stretching his arms in the air, and moving from side to side to stretch his back out. " Aagh .. ! I can't take it anymore .. ! " The redhead yelled out just enough for people around them to stare, digging his hands in his hair to scratch at his hair as he walked beside Takeshi. There had to be a decent trainer around there, there HAD to be. And Masaru wasn't going to stop until he found a decent one to fight. " Let's beat this place and find some people to battle, it's so boring here .. ! " A frown had embedded itself onto the dragon's mouth as he put his hands behind his head, lacing them together as he walked, looking up at the clouds. " Takeshi, I wanna kick some a** .. let's go find some trainers, come onnn .. " He whined as he kept weaving in through the crowd.

As Masaru started to open his mouth for another complaint, a child had passed them, saying something about a gym leader such and such. The charizard had looked down on him, curious of the little human that was talking about his own human trainer. " The best Gym Leader in the world ... " He scoffed at this, it was so obvious he was the best gym leader ever, totally. Everyone knew it-- okay, maybe Masaru was a little biased when it came to his trainer, no he wasn't always the best and no not everyone knew he WAS the best. The dragon liked to think so, or convince himself Takeshi was the best of the best of .. well, the BEST. He was the best at everything, and would boast proudly over this fact, even if he was proven wrong about it. Wasn't that how Pokemon were supposed to think of their trainers ? That's what gave them confidence, right ? Hell if he knew, but he had plenty enough confidence to last a lifetime and more to hand out to everyone. He bathed in it-- LEAKED it, even. Though he wasn't so hot at water types, he could melt steels and ice in seconds, and maybe torch a few grass types, but .. Anyway, as they kept walking, he turned back to Takeshi, askign about his hunger. Was he hungry ? " Yeah .. kind of ... I'll eat if you eat .. " Masaru shrugged, pointing to a food stand across from a few shops. " Let's go there, I want some pizza .. I smell it from here .. mmh .. ~ " A smirk had placed itself on his lips as he took Takeshi's wrist and practically dragged him into the line for some pizza ( of which he was craving at the moment ). " It smells good, right ? ... so good .. "

Nakajima Takeshi

Takeshi chuckled at Masaru's behavior. It was to be expected, he wasn't patient enough to relax for a day until tomorrow. First he came in all sleepy, so Takeshi had to sort of drag him along, a half asleep Charizard Pokemorph isn't something he can always carry. He didn't mind him until he made a fuss about battling. In return, the trainer grinned, "Masaru, as much as I would love to help your boredom, we can't exactly get a random battle as we want." Takeshi reminded his morph friend. Patting him on the head and continued to walk with his companion. It was a simple "food for thought" that he figured that Masaru can endure a little patience for a little bit until they got to a destination where Takeshi figured would still be open to the public. "Tell you what, after we get something to eat, I'll take you to a fun place. You'll really like it, I promise." Takeshi smiled, knowing that Masaru wouldn't be the type who can take surprises too much, he's too energetic and it won't be long until he'll most likely beg him to spill the beans on where they were going. It wasn't long before the two made up their mind to get something to eat, that is before he heard Masaru boost about Takeshi himself. Best Gym Leader in the world? There he goes again. "Masaru, you know I'm not the best. But I guess compared to the other regions, I'm difficult to take down." He won't deny the fact that in the Sinnoh region, he received the toughest training of all training, though it's nothing to boost about in his opinion.

It was then that he felt himself being dragged by Masaru as he proclaimed about wanting pizza. Well now, looks like they got their eyes set on food. The trainer couldn't help but grin. "Alright, alright, pizza it is. What kind do you want?" Pulling out his wallet as the two were placed in line not far from the front. Takeshi admitted it smelled good too, maybe he'll get a slice. Waiting in line might not help the anticipation, but Takeshi figured food would help the Charizard morph calm down a bit. Turning his attention to Masaru he grinned, "After we're done, I'll take you for a walk to the Academy. You know about the training grounds there open for public right?" He couldn't help but bring upon a chuckle. At least it'll get something out their boredom, walking around won't be helping their anticipation. By the time they got to the front of the stand, Takeshi began to order, "One slice of cheese for me...for my friend here..." And he looked at Masaru for a response. Whatever pizza that Pokemorph wanted, Takeshi will give to him...and he quite gullible in general. Spoiling is one of his little...mishaps of a trait. Only because he realized that being strict isn't exactly a positive way to get someone to trust you.

The wave of people isn't uncommon anymore since their stay here, but he can already tell at some people's expression they want that Tournament to be here and now. To the side, he saw two young trainers battle it out. A Chimchar morph against a Nidoran morph huh? It wasn't uncommon to see younger Pokemorphs around here, they still have much to learn. Though Takeshi never exactly saw a Pokemorph evolve...that would be quite interesting. Looking back at Masaru, he waited for the response and anything that happened after that. A penny for his thoughts? Nothing really, but he does sort of miss a bit of the fun when he got to travel all around the Pokemon world because the need for adventure. The Academy sort of limited that a couple of times for him, he remembered it well. He loved the learning part and mock battles by using the Pokemon the Academy provided. What a fun yet terrifying first experience. Maybe that Pidgey he got by a random chance wasn't as lucky of a choice but he did make progress. Speaking of the Academy, he wondered what most students are like there now. Doing the things he had previously done before? Jeez, this really makes him think like he's an old man. Some...sentimental moments, one would say. "Well, I just hope they had fun when I did." He muttered under his breath. Though the...maid cafe he saw earlier wasn't exactly what he would want to see first thing in the morning. The delicious fun in all of that huh? Maybe he was safe his time, but he did feel bad for the guys that might have been forced to do it. But why a maid cafe for guys? Maybe those students have gone out of whack. This him, instead of a lucky choice in Pokemon for his first mock battle in the Academy, he was lucky to graduate earlier and not be part of anything the Academy thought of. Some students were a bit crazy when he was there. And one student just captured his heart. Too bad he hadn't seen her, rejection sucks after all.

Because it was a nice morning, the park was filled with people. A gentle breeze blew through the trees. Honoka sat silently in the grass; there was absolutely nothing to do. She had never been good at finding ways to entertain herself, and others seemed to have a hard time amusing her, too. Honoka was a naturally grouchy Pokemorph, but she would occasionally find something entertaining. Today, though, she was just relaxing. The sun was shining, and it was a perfect day. She just wished that there was something for her to do; she didn't want to just sit around all day. She had come to the island with no real purpose. Somewhere in her thoughts, Honoka knew she had been hoping to see her old friend on Enia Island. They hadn't had a chance to meet since her friend had left to become the Pokemon champion. She had gotten bored, so Honoka boarded a ship headed toward Enia Island with the hope that her friend would be participating in the Crown Tournament. She hadn't seen her friend yet, though. If she didn't soon, she might give up on the hope of meeting there.

Of course, there was also the hope of all the trainers who would want to enter the Crown Tournament but didn't have a partner. She had been given up on and abandoned six times, and she had almost given up on humans altogether. She couldn't see how it would hurt to give them one more chance, however, and that drove her to come to the island. She thought back to a few months before when she had met someone in Apex for the first time. After talking for a while, she had felt comfortable with telling the stranger a little about her past. It relieved her that she wasn't the only Pokemorph who had experienced problems with the humans, so she liked the other Pokemorph's company. Once Honoka had told the stranger about how she had been abandoned six times, she was invited to join Apex. After spending a little time considering it, Honoka decided to have one more partner before deciding. That was part of why she had shown up on the island; she was searching for the last person who would take her as their partner. Whatever happened, they would be the last person. She wasn't willing to put up with being abandoned anymore.

Honoka had always been given away when her third and rarest personality showed itself. Normally, it didn't appear naturally. For it to show up, someone had to drive her to the point where she was extremely mad and couldn't put up with it anymore. It didn't happen often, but her partners in the past eventually said something that made her crack. When her partner was a ranger, she had been abandoned the first time her second personality showed up. She had been totally unwilling to talk to the ranger (she had never liked him in the first place), and it drove him crazy. Her second personality wasn't too bad. Sometimes, it was impossible to tell it apart from her normal personality. It all depended on the situation. When it showed up, it was usually only around for a few hours. Her third personality hardly ever stayed for even that long.

Honoka noticed a small boy attempting to climb a tree. He obviously couldn't (he couldn't even reach the first branch), but he seemed determined to succeed, anyway. Seeing that the situation wouldn't turn out well, Honoka stood and placed herself close to the tree. Jumping, the boy successfully got his hand around the first branch, but he then discovered that he was incapable of pulling himself up. After a moment, his fingers slipped off and he fell. Honoka took a step forward just in time to catch him, and she set him gently on the ground. The boy looked at her and grinned. He was missing one of his two front teeth, and the other seemed to be growing in. "Thank you very much," he said, keeping his silly smile on his face.

Honoka looked away from him, not making eye contact. "I just happened to be standing there. It's not like I went out of my way to help you," she lied in an annoyed voice before turning and walking away. When she couldn't be seen by the little kid, a small trace of a smile could be seen on Honoka's face. That was how things usually went with her. She helped people when she saw an opportunity, but she always tried to cover it up. It was her way of being nice; she just didn't want to be seen as a nice person. Or maybe she did, but she was too embarrassed. Either way, it was just part of who she was. She had a good heart; she just covered it up with her sour personality and sarcasm. Honoka had always been that way; the only person she had ever acted differently with was her old friend. With her friend, she had always felt like she could be herself. She just showed her natural, surprisingly shy personality.

"THANK YOU!" the boy called again from behind her. She blushed just a tiny bit, but it only took a few seconds for her to regain her normal color. She sighed a little, going back to sit where she had been before. There was no way she would admit (even to herself) that she had helped the boy on purpose. Of course, she obviously had; it's not like Honoka was a good liar. Actually, saying that she was a bad liar was an understatement. She was pretty terrible at deceiving people. Occasionally, she could make herself believable, but that was rare. It was extremely easy to identify when Honoka was telling a fib. Honoka went back to staring at the sky. If she was lucky, something interesting would happen. If she wasn't... well, she'd be there all day.

Maybe the morning hadn't went as Sera's thought it was go as. She was strolling around the booths of the festival, enjoying herself before noticing the time. Oh crap! Honoka! Sera told that Ghost Pokemorph that she'd meet her in the park, and she was about to be late if she didn't move it! Going to a large enough clearing, she took out a Pokeball and popped out her Salamence, who gave a roar at the mark of appearance. Sera grinned, "Good boy, come on, we need to get to Honoka." She climbed on his back, ignoring any stares and the finger pointing before the two was bolted up into the air and then headed in the direction of where their rendezvous point was. Clutching her bag, she pulled out her newly acquired (and repaired) Pokegear and slung the object around her neck. Tonight she had her lovely 'debut' at the Karaoke contest, and as of now, she had no idea what possessed her to enter. Maybe for the love and fun of doing something different. That's right, it's always something different with Sera. As Salamence glided towards their destination. Everyone really looked liker ants down there...hey...is that an ice cream booth? Hmm...wonder what flavor-

"WHOA!" And that breeder almost fell off her Dragon's back. And at that point, she would KNOW that Salamence wouldn't even try to catch her, ungrateful brute. But hey, she'll get to him soon. Very soon with the help of Metagross and Dewgong. Looking around, the breeder was trying to spot Honoka. She had just recently took that Pokemorph in...she was so sure of herself she'll get that smile of that Ghost Pokemorph soon. Okay, maybe Sera was a little too happy and nice for her own good, but she does it to make sure others can be like that too. Oh fun. At the sight of Honoka, she patted Salamence, who dived and came to a halt and gently touched the ground. Sera hopped off him and returned that Dragon brute back in his Pokeball. Spotting Honoka she ran towards her and gave a glomp. "Honoka! I'm here! Did you miss me??" She grinned, getting off her new friend and puttign her hands to her hips. It was at the same time a little boy a bit of distance away yelled out a 'Thank you' and Sera turned around to see him run off. An even wider grin came upon Sera, "Oh my, did you help him or something?" Sera was pushing through limits, heck, she just loves having a good time.

Looking at her watch, she face palmed herself. "Oh! Sorry I'm late! But I'm here!" She couldn't help but embrace that Pokemorph into a hug. Personal space much? Nah, Sera just is too happy and too crazy at times for her own good. At the same time, one of her Pokeballs opened up and out came Espeon who came a hiss towards Honoka and jumped into Sera's arms. "Espeon! I know you don't like it when I give someone else affection, but you're so spoiled sometimes!" The psychic cat just mewed in content and cuddled in Sera's arms. At this point in time, she doesn't know of Honoka's reactions, but Sera would say not to take it personality, Espeon is like that to everyone, even the other Pokemon on her team who she would give some love to.

Pulling out her little notebook, she looked at her to do list. She grinned towards Honoka again, "Guess what? I entered you in the Crown tournament! I got the badge and paperwork signed!" She proclaimed enthusiastically, knowing that either way, Honoka was stuck with his crazy breeder, taking battles or not. A nice change of pace. Maybe too much change. Then she thought about her brother, sheesh, where was he anyways? Oh well, she'll bump into him soon. Maybe at the tournament! He did want to become the Champion in his last letter...hmm....what to do now? Honoka might have some ideas. Espeon just mewed and looked up at her trainer.

"Come! Let's go and explore the rest of the festival!" Taking Honoka's hand, she soon dragged took the Pokemorph with her to enjoy the fun.

It was like Honoka was surrounded by a thin layer of glass. She noticed nothing except for what was in her mind; the world that was around her had totally disappeared. Of course, glass is something very fragile, and it's often fated to break. What could break into Honoka's serene, quiet world? That was the job of a girl named Sera. Honoka was relaxed; everything was peaceful. Suddenly, though, her silent world shattered as a girl broke through and attacked the Banette Pokemorph with what would be called a "glomp". Honoka really couldn't understand the purpose of "glomping" someone. Someday, a seemingly innocent person might glomp their Pokemorph and be attacked in the process. Thankfully, that day was not today. Sera's familiar voice made Honoka postpone the attack that had almost been given to the breeder. "Honoka! I'm here! Did you miss me??" she asked. It was a strange question in Honoka's opinion. Maybe she would have missed Sera if they had known each other longer, but they had met for the first time just recently. To be honest, Honoka had forgotten about their planned meeting; she had forgotten it as soon as she arrived at the park.

"Do you want the truth, or would you rather have me lie? Honestly, I didn't miss you at all. You're loud and full of energy; one of these days, you're probably going to give me a headache. When that day comes, I might regret having ever met you. Obviously, then, I didn't miss you." That probably wouldn't be a smart thing to day. Honoka sighed. She wasn't good at talking to people; she was a naturally grumpy person. She didn't say mean things on purpose. Well, okay, sometimes she did. Well, actually, I was half asleep this whole time, so I didn't really get the chance to miss anyone," she replied, trying to be as nice as she could without disgusting herself. She had sounded nice, right? Well, maybe not nice. As long as she didn't sound mean, it was fine. It's not like they really had to like each other; they just had to be capable of putting up with one another. Sera seemed like the kind of person who could put up with anything, right? Maybe not. Maybe Honoka was just trying to convince herself that things would work out. She was willing to do a lot in order to make it go well, though. She had just said something that wasn't an insult, hadn't she? That was probably the first time she had done that early in a partnership. It was something to be proud of.

Suddenly, Sera spoke again. Did I help him? No, I didn't. I just happened to be standing there by chance. I did NOT help him. There is absolutely, positively NO WAY that I helped him, she lied to herself. Still, it wouldn't hurt if Sera thought she was a nice Pokemorph, would it? Wait, maybe it would make her sound stuck-up if she said anything about how she had helped him. What do you say in this kind of situation? Either way, it could be taken badly, couldn't it? Was it better to deny it in a nice way and sound modest like people did all the time on television? Yeah, that was the best. Wait, was Honoka even capable of acting like that? Those kinds of people were the ones she laughed at and made fun of. Could she pull off acting like one of them? She took a deep breath. "Oh, not really. I just happened to be passing by when he was falling." No. There was no way she could say that. It was strange, that was almost exactly what she had told that kid. Why was it so hard to say it now? Honoka had never realized how much of a difference the tone of how things were said made. Just by changing the sound of her voice, she could change the sentence. It was a strange concept.

Honoka was totally unable to decide what to say. "No," she answered simply. Sure, it was a lie, but it seemed like the easiest thing to say. "He was probably just talking to someone else." When Sera apologized for being late, Honoka had to keep herself from saying, "Don't apologize, I was much happier before you showed up." She didn't dislike Sera. If she had said that, she wouldn't actually have meant it. It was just how her personality was; rude things came to her naturally. She didn't mean to hurt people, she just wasn't the kind of person who could hold out her hand to someone who had tripped and say, "Are you okay? Let me help you up."

When Sera's Espeon showed its jealousy, Honoka shot it a glare that said, "You can have her, you worthless Pokemon". The Pokemon's jealousy made Honoka smirk a little. "The fact that you're envious must mean that you're worried, right? What, is the fact that you can tell I'm amazing making you feel threatened?" she asked. "Just kidding," she said as nicely as she could, hiding the fact that she was serious with a friendly smile and a laugh. Honoka could tell that she and that Pokemon would never get along. Then, Sera mentioned the Crown Tournament. "Okay... That's fine," she began, "I'll just use it as an opportunity to show the other Pokemorphs here that I'm not someone you can mess with." The Crown Tournament would be good. Trainers showed up for these kinds of things, so maybe she would even find her old friend here. Maybe this partnership would actually work out. Those were two good things to hope for, weren't they?

Waves gently crashed against the shore as Ayane sat on the warm sand. Her shoes were off to the side, and her feet were right where the water touched the sand. Whenever a wave came, it washed over her feet. Ayane was content. To her, sitting around and relaxing was nice, but hard work was better. Still, a chance to slow down was always accepted; she didn't want to work constantly. Ayane loved to sit back and enjoy nature as much as everyone else did. Even she wouldn't work herself to death; enjoying a serene setting was just as important as getting a job done. Without one, the other wouldn't be as fun, so it was ideal to put them together.

Minami Ayane was the sole child of the president of a very successful Pokeball designing company. Since she was young, she had always had people trying to get close to her in an attempt to get a little of the fortune she would one day inherit. Ayane hated it. Actually, it drove her insane. She didn't see how it was right for her to get through life easily because of the work her father and the previous owners of the company had put in. She would greatly prefer to be poor and forced to work hard than to live off of the efforts of others; there was no way that she would take over the company. Surprisingly, her father hadn't been upset when she came to him and said, "I refuse to inherit the family fortune." Apparently, he had expected it. He told her that he had always seen that she was the kind of girl who would become successful, but she would do it on her own. Ayane was not the kind of person who could cheat; honesty was priority to her. It wasn't that she just didn't cheat; she didn't want to. If she failed at something, it was fine. Her failure was her own fault. At least she hadn't passed off someone else's work as her own.

By turning failure into determination, Ayane was able to work her hardest. She let the things she couldn't do inspire her to become an even better person. Still, she had to depend on her family's money, and that bothered her. By age thirteen, Ayane had worked her future out with her father. She would continue spending her family's money until she was deemed ready to take care of herself. On that day, she began working any job she could find to save up money. She would do any little chores for neighbors in order to earn her spending money. It didn't matter how hard, tiring, or dirty the job was; Ayane was willing to do anything that she was capable of. She hated when she had to turn down a job, but she just let her failure teach her a lesson. To Ayane, every single day was a learning experience. She had always been an optimist; it was just part of who Ayane was.

A Togetic was by her side. Ayane always had Vi, her first Pokemon, with her. Vi had hatched from the Pokemon egg given to her at age eight. Taking care of Vi was the first major responsibility Ayane had been given, and she did a wonderful job of taking care of the newly hatched Togepi. It wasn't too long before Vi had evolved into a Togetic. Vi and Ayane had an extremely strong bond. For Ayane, a very independent girl, Vi is a perfect partner. Vi is obedient and waits for orders from Ayane; she doesn't just do what she thinks is right. In their partnership, Vi and Ayane listen to each other. If Vi doesn't think Ayane's plan is a good one, she'll communicate with Ayane in whatever way possible to make her rethink things. Obviously, she doesn't actually come right out and speak in the human language, but she finds ways to get her point across. For the most part, they understand each other. It's usually easy for them to get what the other is trying to say.

Ayane's Glaceon, Fion, had been given to her as an apology for Ayane's family moving again, but she didn't know at the time. There is nothing Fion hates more than being dirty, but hard work is a close second. She lacks the motivation to increase her strength but is much more interested in Pokemon contests. That isn't a problem for Ayane, though; it's her dream to become a star coordinator, after all. Of all her Pokemon, Fion, Vi, and Cher are the most supportive of that dream. Cher is a Buneary Pokemon, and she's the youngest member of Ayane's team. Fun-loving and energetic, she drives Fion insane. Cher is ideal for cute Pokemon contests; she has just the right amount of energy. She always looks for the opportunity to play and meet new Pokemon because she's an extremely social member of Ayane's team.

Sho is laid-back and calm. It's next to impossible to upset him. He is the only Pokemon in Ayane's team that gets along well with all the others. Sho and Ayane can relate in the fact that they both make freedom a priority. He is out of his Pokeball most of the time because of this bond the two of them share; they both look for any chance to stretch out their wings and hate being held down. He's very different than Bri, the shiny, hot-tempered Infernape. Bri has a bit of a superiority complex, though; she thinks she is better than everyone else. Because of this, she's a sore loser. Whenever Bri loses, she becomes anti-social and uncooperative for a while. She always searches for opportunities to prove that she's the best.

Finally, there's Pier. Ayane's aunt runs a service where abused and abandoned Pokemon are brought to her. Pier's Pokeball was left on her doorstep along with a little money, and Ayane's aunt had no idea what to do with him. She knew that she couldn't give him to most people; Pier (who was nameless at the time) was unwilling to listen to anyone. Because it was likely that he might try to attack his trainer, the only person the aunt trusted enough to give him to was Ayane. Pier doesn't obey Ayane most of the time, so he's her last resort Pokemon in battles against trainers. In the wild, though, she often fights alongside Pier in hopes of gaining his trust. So far, however, she hasn't had any success. Ayane stood. It was time to go back into the town. Maybe she'd find a partner for the Crown Tournament today.

                      » a legend is being told !

Kouta reluctantly opened his eyes but refused to remove his body from the covers or the bed. He knew that outside the warm covers was a chilly air that waited to n** at his skin. The thought made him cringe beneath the sheets. Aside from that, he noted that he'd fallen asleep on his stomach again. It wasn't that this was something significant that should worry him, he just normally slept on his side but lately he'd changed how he slept. Maybe it was the change of season. Or maybe he was getting way too accustomed to the high life with Hirumi.

The Zangoose pokemorph pushed himself up slightly with his arms. Air rushed into the new opening and bit at his chest, making him want to lay back down but first he wanted to know what the time was. It was nearly nine in the morning. Too early. Kouta yawned and let his body plop back down on the soft mattress. A low grumble emit from his throat as he felt the beginning pangs of hunger. His stomach wasn't going to let him go back to sleep. The wild haired boy punched his stomach, mumbling, "Speak again, and I will hit you harder." As if his innards wanted nothing more than to disobey him, another, louder, growl echoed inside him. Kouta frowned. Annoying stomach, why was it challenging him? Instead of following through with his threat, he ignored it and shut his eyes. His stomach decided that that moment was appropriate to roar a little louder. It was like a challenge. Silence then engulfed the room, as if his stomach and Kouta himself were staring each other down, until the pokemorph rolled and began hitting his stomach while squirming around atop the mattress. Unfortunately, he paid little attention to his location until he crashed landed on the floor next to his bed.

"Ack! Ugh!" Kouta sat up, rubbing his spine where he felt the strongest tinge of pain. He shut his eyes as he rolled his right shoulder until the feeling dissipated. Then he decided that his stomach had one this battle. "Guess I should eat now that I'm out of bed anyway." Kouta grumbled as he stood up and moved toward the shut bedroom door. With a quick twist after grabbing the cold metal, the door clicked and popped open. The Zangoose morph stood in the open door for a minute, looking around the large room. It was lavish and something that he was becoming used to seeing. The same thing as his situation with extremely soft beds as opposed to hard floors and dirt. There was one person who was hell bent on keeping these things away from him though; Hirumi's manager. The pokemorph and the manager shared a dislike for each other. It was as if they were born to hate each other like they did. It came so natural to him.

From what he could see and hear, Hirumi wasn't awake yet ( unless she was in the bathroom or something ) so he walked out of the room. His feet quickly came in contact with the tile that covered the floor of the kitchen area. He scouted the surface of the counter out. Nothing on top the marble surface seemed to entice his stomach. His stomach might as well have been another person, shaking their head at each item that was disliked.

Kouta then moved to the refrigerator, tugging the door open with some effort. A frigid air floated from inside the machine. It was filled with various foods ( including Kouta's leftovers from the night before ). He grabbed the plastic bag that had his leftovers in it and shut the door. He would rather have something he'd already started eating than calling room service to bring up food on a silver platter, literally. Kouta threw the bag on the counter top as he grabbed a plate from the cabinets above. He set it on the counter top then removed the food from the bag and the containers, placing each one on the plate. He looked over the food then stuck it and the plate in the microwave, pressing 'reheat'. A soft whirring filled the air as heat filled the small box to heat up his Chinese food. It was weird that he could eat both human food and pokemon food. He shook his head. Things like that made him question how he should be treated. He could never decide which race he was closer to, humans or pokemon. It was as if all pokemorphs were outcasts, stuck in the middle and a race that didn't belong.

Kouta waited three minutes for the microwave to beep, signaling that the food was as re-cooked as it would get. He took a firm hold of the hot plate then walked out on the balcony, sitting in one of the chairs. Kouta didn't really have table manners so he propped his feet up on the table before him, setting the plate on his legs and eating as he looked out at the island. The tournament was that day. He knew that Hirumi would probably be signing the two of them up if she hadn't already. He couldn't remember. Oh well. The tournament couldn't be a bad thing, could it?

“Hey! Hey! Hey! Cut it out! That tickles!” The wolfish trainer laughed as he was dog piled by a pack of vulpix he had been playing with, each and every one of them aiming to lick his face off. Tsuki stayed back, making a sound that was almost like he was laughing at Aruki. Really, such an odd human, to be closer to pokemon than he was with his own kind.

Aruki pushed himself up with a little bit of trouble, and the vulpix gathered around him, except for the one that fell in his lap, one that was a bit off in color, a shiny? He guessed and then pet it’s head softly. “There there.” The vulpix licked his hand and he laughed. “Okay seriously guys, I don’t got anymore! But I don’t mind playing for a bit!” Just as he said that he was once again tackled, almost as if the pokemon understood what he was saying.

Just the other day, Aruki had been racing to find a pokemorph partner, and luckily he found one that was ready to work with him temporarily. He had signed up with the morph, and then the parted ways, promising to meet up before the tournament started. A temporary pact for a trainer and morph who wanted to win, nothing special.

And now, the trainer was were he always is, the forest, playing with whatever pokemon wanted to approach him.

There was a rustle in the bushes, and out came a ninetails. All the vulpix, except for the off colored one, ran over to the ninetails and started running around it. The mother? Father? Leader? Aruki shrugged, it didn’t matter.

The ninetails looked at Aruki, its eyes gleaming, trying to see if Aruki was really safe to be around. The trainer merely smiled and stood up with the off colored vulpix in his hands. “Why hello there.” He said walking over and petting the top of the pokemon’s head.

The ninetails backed away with a nod and disappeared, leaving the vulpix to continue to play.

Almost as soon as the pokemon was gone, was Aruki tackled as the vulpix attempted to lick Aruki to death. “You guys are to full of energy!” The trainer stood up and took off through the forest, the vulpix following close behind, chasing him down, almost like a game of tag. The little off colored vulpix fixated itself onto Aruki’s shoulder and stayed there, which made the trainer laugh.

Tsuki followed close behind, keeping a close eye on the young pokemon from behind, just incase something where to happen that would need his help, but for now, it just looked like his trainer and the vulpix were having fun.

For a while Aruki and the vulpix took turns chasing each other around, and even a few others pokemon joined in, meowth, mareep, skitty, and a few other random pokemon that wanted to join in on the fun.

After a bit of romping around and rough housing, Aruki and the pokemon settled down to enough some berries that they all had collected together. Then after enjoying the brief snack, all the little pokemon huddled around the trainer and fell asleep, a nap after eating, and of course the little off colored vulpix fell asleep in his lap.

The wolfish trainer laughed softly and petted the top of its head softly, looking over at Tsuki. Aruki could see the eyes look from the shadows at him, the fathers, mothers, leaders, and such of the pokemon he was with, but one by one, the eyes disappeared, trusting what they saw.

Soon after the last pair of eyes disappeared, Aruki himself started to doze off, telling Tsuki to wake him up if he sensed danger, and slowly, his eyes drooped, following the little pokemon into dreamland.

Knock. Knock. Knock. “The light rapping brought me to my senses, wondering who could possibly be wanting to see me at such a late hour...-”

“Will you just shut up already!” The purple haired ‘prince’ shouted, shutting the man that was speaking up. “I don’t care about your stupid stories, and I never will! Just get out!” Akihiko waited impatiently for the man to leave, and then flopped down on his bed with a disgruntled sigh. Not only was Akihiko mad, but he was furious. For one, his pokemorph, like always, refused to show itself while his parents or anyone else that worked at the house was there. Secondly, since the Lunar Ball was that night, Akihiko’s parents didn’t want to risk him running off, so not only did they have more guards roaming the halls, but also more posted outside, near the forest, his one way of escape.

With all this going on, Akihiko was trapped, or so his parents thought. For all they knew, he would stay locked up in his room, but that wasn’t really the case. Even right now, at this very moment, Meikyu, Saku, and Yami, Akihiko’s three ghost pokemon, were looking for a blind spot in the security. Sooner or later, one of them would be appearing before him to ‘tell’ and show him they way out, and then, at least until the ball, he would roam around, and be back before his parents even knew he was gone.

Just then, Akihiko’s phone rang, a mission from Team Rocket, just what he had been waiting for, though it seems he will be running this one solo, considering his pokemorph was nowhere to be seen. He just hoped it showed up before the ball, or all plans would have been ruined. They had both carefully planned out what was going to happen, and for it to go off without a hitch, they both had to be there.

Akihiko had just started to put his phone down when Yami, the Sableye, appeared before him, quickly followed by Meikyu, the Mismagius, and Saku, the Gengar. Kurai sleepily looked up from his spot at on Akihiko’s bed, and “Rai”ed in acknowledgment. Akihiko waited patiently for the three to map out the area, something that really came in handy when you often had to sneak around.

Saku handed the map to Akihiko when he was finished, and then the three ghosts returned to their pokeballs. With a soft sigh of relief, Akihiko grabbed his pokeballs and went over to his closet, taking out a purplish black jacket with a big red R on the back. He had work to do.

Akihiko slipped out of his room silently, using Kurai to check around to see of anyone was coming, and he was off. He followed the map that the ghost pokemon made carefully, making sure not to get off of his path, less he might get caught.

Kurai stopped, and so did Akihiko. For a brief moment the ‘prince’ held his breath, and only allowed himself to breath once Kurai started moving again.

Luckily, the rest of the way out was pretty easy, and there had been no more stopping, it was outside when things started getting tricky. There were guards everywhere he looked, and for a moment it seems like his heart was stuck in his throat, but still, he continued to follow behind Kurai carefully, following the pokemon’s movements carefully.

Before he knew it, they were already in the forest, Kurai dancing around happily, having been able to help get Akihiko out, now it was time for the mission.

                          ♠♦♣♥

The walk to town was short, and before long Akihiko was trailing his target. Right now he was to target and capture a shiny Spiritomb that this person had. Really right now, this was going to be to easy, actually, he would just leave this up to Yami, since this is what he was best at.

So with that thought in mind, Akihiko threw out the Sableye’s pokeball and walked off after telling the pokemon what he was to do, there was no reason to stay.

The prince sighed, looking at his bag, he had brought his jacket for nothing, but it was no big deal, he liked the one he had on better, and now, he wanted ice cream, strawberry preferably.

Akihiko looked around as he walked, for once not getting lost. There were people everywhere, most likely for the festival that was going on. The ‘prince’ sighed, noticing all the different trainers that were wandering around, anticipating the Crown Tournament. He looked around at all the different morphs, a Charizard with it’s trainer getting pizza, younger ones battling. Really it was like a rainbow of pokemorphs ripe for the taking, but he didn’t need anymore, the one he had was enough, for now.

Akihiko soon found himself standing in front of the Sakura Cafe, the best place to get ice cream... or a malt, which was what he changed his mind to as he opened the door. The trainer walked over, ordered his strawberry malt, paid, and walked out. Right now, he would rather wander around, looking at all the different things that were going on at the festival, seeing if anything actually caught his interest.

The ‘prince’ had managed to barely go a few feet before his Sableye, Yami, appeared holding a pokeball. The boy smiled and took it before the pokemon returned to his own. Just to make sure, Akihiko released the pokemon, seeing it to be a shiny Spiritomb, and returned to pokemon before it ever had a chance to notice what was going on. Mission accomplished.

With the new pokeball snug in his bag, the boy made his way over to the pokemon center, so that he could send his accomplishment to his boss.

      xxxThis is VENOM speakingxxx

“Aiya. I’m getting nowhere with this!” The Seviper pokemorph said, looking at his phone. He had two options he needed to considered. Either one, go and find Hirumi and get to see Kouta, or two, go and practice for the Karaoke Contest that would be going on later on that day.

Both of those options were good ideas to consider, but only one of them could be down first. With a sigh the manager shoved the phone in his pocket and started walking off towards the direction of the hotel. First thing first, he would have to tell Hirumi that she had to sing with whoever won the Karaoke Contest, whether she wanted to or not.

“Hey! Look it’s Venom!” Out of old habit Sairin turned around to look, only to see a boy that looked like a carbon copy of himself when he had been in Destiny Unknown. This I got to see. The ex-singer chuckled to himself and wandered over.

“Hey can you sing us a song?” The people where crowding around the boy, and it took a lot of energy to prevent Sairin from laughing out loud. Seriously, who would have thought that he would get to meet himself?

The manager slowly made his way to the front, and pulled forth his guitar case. “Hmm... If you sing. I’ll play.” That was a risky move, because one look at his guitar and anyone would be able to tell who he was, but he knew that the kid was going to back off.

“N-no! Don’t! I-I was just d-dressing up for the festival!”

“I see...” The morph pretended to sound sad, and then walked off as the crowd dispersed. He was actually kinda glad that he still had fans, meaning that a lot of people would be happy later on when Venom once again takes the stage. It’s just that he couldn’t keep from his calling forever, and so he thought ti was about time to start singing once again, and maybe, if he was lucky, get to see his band just one more time.

With a soft sigh Sairin walked into the hotel. He didn’t need to ask where Hirumi was staying, because, without asking, he already knew, which is why he was such a good manager.

Without any hesitation at all, the pokemorph made his way up up up the stairs, and knocked on the door that belonged to Hirumi and Kouta softly before walking in. “Hirumi! I found you!” He said without actually seeing her, instead, his eyes were burning holes into a certain Zangoose pokemorph’s back. “And what the hell is this rodent doing in here!” Sairin almost yelled with a forced sneer. Oh how he hated acting this way towards Kouta, but he had to...

Sairin made his way around the room and moved towards the kitchen. “One of you needs to learn how to cook, cause I can’t when you leave without tell me!” The manager said in a half laugh tone. Taking note of the food that Kouta had, but ignoring it. Leftovers....

The Seviper moved around the kitchen, digging around, seeing what he could possibly make before actually starting to cook. What to make. What to make. I would ask Kouta, but that would make me seem to friendly towards him... Hmm..... What does he like to eat? The ex-singer sighed and closed the refrigerator door. “Okay so what do you guys want to eat?” He called from the kitchen.

“Oh and Hirumi, you will be singing with the winner of the Karaoke Contest later today, so get ready for that.”

      xxxI'm actually a PRINCExxx

Reiketsu looked around the room slowly, everything was basically in order for the stack of books... and was that a hand? The pokemorphs eyebrow arched and he slowly walked over when he saw the hand move, and then... his name. “Rika!!” The magician’s voice was a mixture of surprise and laughter. Once again Rika had managed to get trapped.

The pokemorph hurriedly removed the books off of Rika and shook his head. How could the girl possibly fall asleep in a situation like this? With a sigh he picked up the other morph carefully, so as to not wake her, and placed her aside. First he would pick up, so that her boss wouldn’t get made. Oh no no. Don’t want to get the boss mad, that could, and will, be scary.

Reiketsu moved around the room as if he had been there a million times, placing each and every book where it belonged, and soon, he once again had Rika in his arms. Without a second thought he left, carrying Rika along with him. The morph was sound asleep, and the magician almost laughed at it, but this almost always happened, and as soon as she wakes up, then the two of them could go and enjoy the festival.

The pokemorph got a few looks when people outside saw him carrying what looked like a sleeping girl, but they all seemed to shrug it off, not wanting to get into other people’s business.

Reiketsu really didn’t light walking all the way to his house at the moment, so instead, he stopped at a park. He sat Rika down softly on a bench and smiled. While she slept, he would have a bit of fun, as a magician!

With a flip of his wrist and a crack of his whip, a small twister appeared above him. With another flick water began forming around, following the motion of the twister, then slowly, the water formed to ice. The magician stepped back and jumped into the air, his whip coming down on the small twister, shattering it, and turning the ice into tiny sparkling crystals that disappeared before touching the ground.

A few people had stopped to watch, and clapped. With a small smile the magician continued. Water seemed to come out an area right above his hand, and forming several circles around him, and once again, the water, ring by ring, began turning to ice. A twister formed with a crack of his whip, taking the rings far up into the sky, and then, with crack from his whip, they shattered, forming little birds and then disappearing. Once again, clapping ensued, and the pokemorph bowed slightly before putting his whip away, no use getting to carried away at the moment. Right now, he just wanted his dear Rika to wake up so that the two of them could enjoy their time at the festival, well only if Rika herself wanted to.

With a soft sigh Reiketsu turned to the bench where he left Rika, and sat down on the end. Now all he had to do was wait...

Sera smiled at the turn of events. At least Honoka wasn't mad or anything that she came and glomped the Pokemorph. Rather, she was curious at how reserved she is. "Well, if you say so." The breeder shrugged off about the kid who went his way after shouting a thank you. A nice way to disturb the "peace" of the park huh? Lovely indeed. She wasn't exactly paying attention to what Espeon and Honoka were up too. It wasn't a rare occurrence, Espeon was like this ever since Honoka appeared. Not surprising as Honoka was still a newcomer to the team. Her feline pokemon curled up on one arm, hissing at Honoka and then mewing as Sera took out her free arm to reach into her pocket and pull out a small card with identification of what seemed to be Sera and Honoka's. She smiled, glad that Honoka was actually enjoying the fact she had been entered into the tournament. "The badge is here and we can get in on the fun tomorrow! Sera couldn't help but be over all optimistic about this. Maybe she was too optimistic. At the same time, Espeon just jumped out of Sera's arms and landed on her paws, mewing. Indicating they should move to another location.

The young woman didn't mind that Honoka didn't talk a lot, but she should be a little more sociable. Sera wasn't going to let the excuse of "Because I don't like to talk" or "I'm scared of what others would think" as something of a reason that would have them clam up what they were going to say. Voicing out opinions was one thing, Sera just wanted to know that acknowledgement comes from having to stand out. She was always the one that stood out, that would might have added a fact in her brain that even if she did it by herself and was known as 'queer', she was at least having fun. Dragging Honoka along with her throughout the booths, she noticed at the ice cream seller from earlier. Soon enough, with shining eyes, she literally in a comical way, pulled her Pokemorph friend over with her Espeon just chasing after the two to the front of the ice cream booth. "Ice cream! Let's get some! You know you want some Honoka!" The breeder couldn't help but grin, taking a pick at a chocolate chip mint cone, paying, and then indulging in the sweet, sweet flavor. Man, when did she ever had something this good?

She thought for a moment then looked at Honoka. "Not to get personal or anything, but do you prefer that I was a trainer?" She took a bite out of her cold, melting treat, "You seem to not have an opinion about battling. But I wonder if you prefer to battle more than just to hang around and travel." That was basically what Sera did. Because she was a breeder, she wasn't exactly a "trainer", battles don't come often with her. Although she can be a tough cookie, she's is obviously someone who doesn't battle unless needed be. Looking around she spotted a couple people she actually saw for a couple days. Mostly trainers and she was certain they were entering the Crown Tournament. Then again, tonight she had to worry about her karaoke contest thing. Was she really that crazy to enter? Not like she would sound like a chicken scratch when she sung, but she hadn't exactly created music in a while. Only paintings, scrap drawings and sketches. Festivals huh? Maybe she can squeeze in some time to take a last minute picture before they leave. She did hear word about a big announcement at the end of the Crown Tournament where everyone is encouraged to participate in. Then again, it was what she heard, she doesn't know what was going to take place.

Espeon had been a bit mewing for a bit, which got Sera's attention. Pawing at her leg, the breeder just picked up the feline and the sneaky creature stole a lick from her ice cream. "Hey! You know you can't have this! ...It's a treat after all." Sera smiled before looking around again. Soon enough, Espeon just jumped away and run off into the crowd. Maybe she wanted to go explore. Knowing her own Pokemon, that cat will come back to Sera soon enough. The cat has a knack for exploring places without her consent. Shrugging, her eyes trailed back to Honoka. "What now? Anything you want to do?" Her free hand just fidgeted with her pokegear that was around her neck. She was anticipating and counting each second until she saw her brother again. What was Hiroyuki doing these days? Okay, stalking was out of the question, but as the older sister, she was somewhat curious!

At that moment, she heard the sound of music and then a whip. Looking for the source of that crack, she saw a small gathering of where the two were previously located at to see someone doing magic tricks. Well, that's rare. Then again, it was something Sera wouldn't mind seeing either. She'll get her chance soon enough. Munching on the sugar cone, her sweet treat melted away into a bliss of happiness.

            Ice cream is really good.
