As another text vibrated the phone in his hand Hiroki looked down at the small screen, his eyes narrowing slightly to block the glare. The text was from Susumu again (he blatantly ignored the second text the other man sent him, full with little emotes that only seemed to infuriate the orange haired male even further) which told him where to meet. Firing back a quick text in confirmation, he shoved his phone haphazardly into the pocket of his hoodie. The place where they were supposed to meet wasn't too far away, Hiroki mused, he could probably make it there within fifteen minutes or so. Once Hiroki made sure that his baseball bat was strapped securely to his backpack and everything else was in order, he dropped his board back onto the cement and hopped on, cutting back into the flow of pedestrians.

The travel from the main streets and to the drop off area passed like a blur. As if he was on autopilot, he passed by familiar stores without even a glance. Even as the streetlights flickered on and buildings lit up for the upcoming night, his attention never wavered from the path in front of him.

Once he reached his viewpoint, which involved breaking into an abandoned house close to the warehouses and climbing onto the rooftop, Hiroki waited. Lowering his backpack onto the roof, he pulled out his bat and binoculars, placing the former on his left next to his skateboard. Rocking a bit restlessly, Hiroki flipped out his phone again, unlocking the thing and texting a quick message to Susumu.

Unbeatable Gawker

Akira Hisakawa
The Protagonist

User Image

Still nervously shifting from one foot to another, Akira moves up the line. The suspicious looking man with the odd hair was on his way out. Trying to look like he wasn’t looking, Akira saw the man’s wallet fall to the ground. From the look of it he hadn’t noticed yet. Paying for his own items he collects the bag and crouches to pick the wallet up. Staring at the outside of the wallet for a short time, he walks without looking where he is going and nearly collides with a trio of young women walking into the store. After apologizing profusely and moving across the street to get out of the crowd Akira looked for the man from earlier. Catching a glimpse of him further down the street he tries to catch up.

Not getting any closer despite picking up his own pace, Akira started getting curious about what was inside the man’s wallet. He wouldn’t want there to be something obvious to contact the owner with and look like a dummy for not thinking to check. The crowds were beginning to thin as he followed the man towards a more industrial area of the district. Thinking this would be a good time to check the contents Akira opens the wallet, trying to keep a good view of the man as he was walking off. The first thing he noticed was the amount of business cards the man had in there. Club. Club. Escorts. Bar. He read silently, leaving most of them in their spots unread. Akira’s theory of the man being a gangster was not confirmed but it was still in the lead. Which meant that perhaps it was best to just hand it to him than leave it with a police officer, or so Akira’s logic followed at least. Checking the ID card in the wallet he found the owner’s name, Susumu Kurosawa. Calling out to Susumu, all that came out was a raspy wheeze. He had not noticed how unnerving the area seemed to have gotten as he was following this guy. Gathering what courage he had Akira just decided to get this over with as quickly as possible. Breaking into a quick jog, Akira waves his arm over his head. “Susumu Kurosawa! I have something for you! Akira hoped that the man would not make a big deal about this so he could find his way back to the hotel.

Amaya Takenaka
the Jorōgumo

Once she got the directions, Amaya changed course from the Nights to this warehouse area. She picked up her pace from before, thinking about the plan of attack as she speedwalked through the crowds. The demon wondered if the area would be clear enough for her to shift without any witnesses, that would certainly make things easier if something bad went down. Taking up the rear would likely involve an element of surprise, which was right up her alley. Hopefully she wouldn't have to use her venom; it wasn't always easy to close the gap and get a good bite in. Depending on the layout, she might even be able to spin a web, either as a perch or a trap. She'd have to see first. If there would even be a problem. It didn't hurt being prepared, but she couldn't help thinking that all this exertion was bad for her complexion. But, it was the (non-existent, in this case) price she paid for staying in the good graces of the gang that gave her a home and a real job.

As she neared the drop point, Amaya surveyed the surroundings, then decided it would probably be best to stay grounded. Especially if there was already support from above. There wasn't a good place to inconspicuously spin a web and still be able to see what was happening with the drop, anyway. She pulled her hat down a little to cover her face a bit- she thought it looked cool, if no other use came from it- and leaned up against the side of a building, in a small alley between one warehouse and another, a decent distance away from where Susumu would be heading, but still close enough to see, and to rush in if needed. She sent a quick confirmation text to the boss, saying she was in position, then settled in to wait.

Wolfgang Itsuki van Ravencroft
Saints Vampire

As Wolfgang entered the alley, kicking up the trash bags and boxes, he uses powers to make the car reach speeds that it wouldn't normally achieved. Zipping through the back alleys with animistic roars as Wolfgang push the brakes and accelerator at intervals as he sped round corners eventually landing on the road only to throw the car into another alley. With powers flowing through the car, giving him some invisibility as he went faster than what to the human could register, gone within a blink of a eye.

Despite the shortcuts from the traffic, Wolfgang still managed to get lost as it was a shortcut he never really used and it didn't help that the sat nav couldn't pinpoint his whereabouts in accordance to where he needed to be. So Wolfgang slowed down, disengaging his powers so the car sounded normal as he came to the end of the alley which opened into a empty road. He turned into the road and parked himself waiting for the sat nav to figure itself out.

After a moment of silence as Wolfgang looked around the car, the sat nav beeping into life announcing that he had arrived at his destination. "Oh... okay.." Wolfgang said blinking the small gadget, he saw noone around and shrugged. "Nothing to do here but wait" He said with a smirk as he switched off the engine then clicked the seat into a inclining position before placing his hands behind his head and kicked back relaxed for a small while. Resting feet up on the steering wheel.

Eri Van Ravencroft

Eri smiled gently as the twins latched onto Wolfgang’s and her own bodies, stroking the young girl’s hair with a gentle hand, weaving her fingers in and out of the white hair. These kits were like children to Eri and Wolfgang, who had none of their own yet, and it was lovely when ever they could interact together. “You both are my favorites, “ Eri said truthfully, laughing warmly.

Then the two switched, Kohaku hugging her from the side, feeling his ears twitch slightly under the hat he was wearing. They were very similar in their appearance, and so she tried to be an example to him, wearing her ears proudly- though she did have an excuse of being into what the customers were into. Her own tail wagged back and forth, the two canine like beings making the smallest of vortexes with their wagging tails. “Yes, and are you dear?” she asked with a smile, her face exploding in color as Wolfgang kissed her face in farewell.

She turned her head, a smile gracing the pink. “Have a safe day dear,” She called after him, blowing a kiss after him.

Turning her attention back to the twins she put a free hand on her hips, tuting a bit. “Now you two, are we going to have a good day running the best club and loving people out there?” She asked, pumping the two up as she sat down at the table with them, settling for a night of business and meetings.

If there was one more thing she have in common with her brother was that she loves having her hair played with. Feeling both Eri and Wolfgang fingers gliding through hair had her humming in delight. Akane pouted as uncle Wolfgang had to leave, but she understood. If Susumu said they were needed, you don't ignore him. "Stay safe." Akane said as she let go. She didn't want to let go, but she didn't have a choice in the matter.

"I am." Kohaku answered. Holding himself back from licking the women's cheek, but instead he opted to pressing his nose to her cheek. Watching up close as Eri cheeks blossom with color did Kohaku began to pull away. Kohaku felt oddly jealous when Wolfgang kissed Eri's cheek. She was Wolfgang's mate not his, but he felt a little possessive. Something he didn't have the right to feel, but decided it was a misplace feeling because of how close he was to the two. Kohaku didn't trust anyone when he first joined the Saints. He didn't open up or talk to anyone. Eri got him to speak and through her he began to trust Wolfgang more. Eventually the vampire became someone he comes to rely on especially if he was hurt or feeling a little down.

The twins equally felt nervous watching Wolfgang leave. Their attention focuses quickly on Eri as she began to pump them up for work. "Yup! What's today's agenda? Is it finally bunny suit, karaoke night?" Akane asked, half-joking, but also serious if her idea of everyone wearing bunny suits and singing karaoke. Pulling Kohaku down on the chair, she reclaimed her spot in his lap.

Susumu walked casually to the spot, finishing his bubble tea smoothie he tossed the empty cup in a trash bin before moving down a series of wide open alleys for trucks to get through. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes before standing straight and kept a steady pace. He was so focused he didn't hear anyone behind him until he was in a wide open space. He checked his phone. Right on time. He refrained from looking around, not wanting to give any one elses positions. He was the focus, the one to make the trade, and the bait.

He was in the zone until someone threw it off as he turned to be surprised by some young fellow coming up to him holding something in his hand. " Kid, this isn't a place for you to be- " He turned to hear someone call out to him from another direction. " H- Hey.... one of you the carry off... " Susumu growled as he turned to the kid who might had just given his name to this possible Rokkaku rat. " Kid, back off. You don't belong here. " The shaky guy who looked like he got no sleep came closer holding a messenger bag. " Look I got what you wanted here. " He opened the bag which involved Susumu reaching behind his belt as his fingers wrapped around the hilt of a hidden blade. However all the man took out was an envelope. " Just... show the cash and you get your information. " Susumu gritted his teeth. This kid would screw everything up.

" Just a sec... " he said to the jittering man. He went over to Akira and stared down at him, his sun glasses obscured how annoyed he was but he kept his hand on his belt, ready to pull it out if need be. He noticed a wallet in his hand. He looked at it, held his hand out and took it from the kid and looked in it. " You looked in my wallet... " He said almost immediately. He was very practical with how things were placed. He stared at the kid, and handed him 50,000 yen. " Take this and get the hell out of here kid. " Susumu cared little that he handed nearly half a 100 thousand yen to the kid, but he had more important things to deal with.

" Hey! What the hell you're suppose to be paying me! If this doesn't go right they'll ki- " Susumu was about to tell the jittering man to clam up when he noticed a red dot on the side of his head. He unfortunately did not, and before his sentence could finish a muffled sound of a whistle came from above, and the man's face went dull as he swayed a bit and collapsed, a red pool forming around his head.

" [******** me side ways..." said the lanky man as his shoulders drooped. A pair of men from behind him and Akira held batons and wore black fatigues. They brandished batons as they ran forward. " Take them both in! " Susumu sneered annoyed as he ran forward scooping Akira behind him as Susumu spun and rose his arm as the Masako grunts came at him with a wide over hand swing. Susumu pushed the forearm of the guard up with his own as he delivered a well placed kick to push the other out of the way. The other guard took initiative and threw a punch at Susumu's head which caused the lanky man to jerk in the other direction. Recovering rather quickly he dodged a swing of the baton and grappled with the guard for it. He delivered a hard kick to his ankle, hard enough for a definitive crack to be heard as the guard shouted loudly. Susumu wrenched the baton out of his hand and swung with all his strength down on the guards head. The guard shut up quickly as it smashed down, he swayed but was given no quarter as Susumu delivered another over head swing, and another, then finally ending him with a back hand strike of the baton, causing him to topple over. As the other guard regained himself on a wall Susumu came in and delivered yet another kick in the same place he put the first. Winding the guard who lurched forward Susumu grabbed his head and threw it back agasint the hard concrete wall of the warehouse. He kept smashing his head while switching to the baton to smash into his sides. As the guard coughed and gurgled down to his knees Susumu reared his leg back and delivered a very merciless kick to the guards face smashing it again into the wall. He too collapsed.

" ******** scrubs... " He wiped his mouth as he looked over at Akira. " What the hell am I -" He was cut off as concrete shattered around him as he ducked his head. More Masako units, now equipped with guns shot at Susumu, he quickly ran with his head low, grabbing Akira in the process as he shielded him with his own body as he pushed his head down. As they passed the wall Susumu looked back at the dead man that held the information. He risked running through another volley as he used the warehouse wall as a cover, he heard them walking forward slowly as they noticed their dead friends bodies. As Susumu grabbed the bag, he ran back through the kill zone, and came through unscathed.

" Come on kid! If you don't want to be a stain on the asphalt tonight, you'll stick with me. " He lurched to the side as a bullet struck the ground. He looked back and saw a muzzle flash from on top the roof. " Sniper! Get your head down, zig zag! " He grabbed Akira and threw him forward of him. Susumu trying his best to mask Akira's movements so he was in the line of sight instead. As they got to a number of large containers he caught his breath for a moment as the guards shouted orders and began spreading out. Susumu peaked out noticing the sniper fire stopped. " s**t and more s**t... Alright you Rokkaku ********. You want to play that way, we'll play that way. " He reached down into his pants and grabbed a snub nosed revolver and spun it and held it to Akira, gun grip forward." Take this, and don't be a p***y and tell me you can't just take it and use it if they grab you." Susumu himself kept to the baton." Wait a sec, my boys and girls will give us an opening. "

He speed dialed a joint call to get everyone's attention. " s**t went wrong, create a distraction for the snipers and open up an escape. Wolf, I want that engine hot and ready to roar now. Hiroki, Amaya don't sit around and play, do what you have to quick then get out. " Susumu hung up and looked at Akira." Be ready to run when I say so kid. Straight down the alley. " he took a deep breath and waited for the ques before he headed out.

Wolfgang Itsuki van Ravencroft
Saints Vampire

Wolfgang opened one eye as the phone ringed before picking up and immediately had orders barked at him. So apparently the job has gone eh? Wolfgang pushed the button on the side of the seat for the chair to return to the upright position. Once was in a suitable driving position, the vampire proceed to turn the engine back on. Keeping it nice and warm from his eventual passengers.

To save him from totally getting bored, Wolfgang decided to blast out some tunes. May as well since the deal had gone awry.

Eri’s red lips curved into a smile, thinking of how the customers would react to the workers in bunny suits. The smile was part sensual and part mischievous, the idea sparking all sorts of things. That would certainly garner attention of the masses, probably loads of money as well as intelligence. One could always trust a bunny gal, and any information that needed to be passed could be done without trouble.

“Akane, this is a great idea. Though perhaps we limit the karaoke for later in the evening. Let us have those who like to sing get lubricated first. It might improve moods and attract many,” She said with a nod, thinking of the inventory of costumes of bunny kind, a pleased smile.

“We might not have enough of the one piece suits for everyone, but we have many ears and tails. Perhaps we will attach some to the fancier costumes and leave those for the high rollers,” Eri said thoughtfully, looking at the schedule in her book, nodding again.

Hiroki watched. He watched and he waited for anything, something to happen. With his binoculars trapped in a unyielding grip, his shoulders relaxed somewhat when he caught sight of a distinctly female silhouette in the shadows. Bringing himself up into a crouch, Hiroki let his eyes close for a moment, basking in the near silence of the area. Gradually, he let his senses expand, curling in wisps around him. Just like how he was trained back in the Rokkaku. Don't think, just feel. Hiroki let out a gentle breath, calming down and slowing his heart rate. He could do this. This was just another mission. Nothing to worry about.

His eyes opened again when another shadow caught his eye, however his eyebrows arched up in surprise when another quickly followed. That wasn't Wolf, as he was supposed to be manning the car. Susumu also didn't mention having anyone tag along with them. Hiroki's eyes narrowed slightly when Susumu and this new person stepped into the light of the docking station. He gave an uncomfortable shift and swallowed, touching his bat to reassure himself. Everything was fine. Things would go just like normal. Susumu would come out of this completely fine, and then they'd make a quick getaway.

                                        However, that wasn't the case.

Gunfire filled the air and Hiroki was on alert. The first person his gaze snapped onto was Susumu, who was currently punching a man out. Growling under his breath, because this wasn't supposed to happen, they [******** up somehow, and now they were in danger. It was probably that one little ******** who didn't belong here. Collecting his skateboard and bat, Hiroki flew into action.

The first thing he worried about was the sniper. That, was a problem. A big one that Hiro didn't want bagging them down. So, he treading along the rooftops, using his skateboard to clear gaps that he most likely wouldn't be able to with his his feet alone. And soon, he was on him. Hiroki held his breath, picking up his skateboard as to not alert the sniper to his position. Silently, he thanked his past self for picking out dark colors for the day. Biting down on his lips and clutching his skateboard to his chest, Hiroki approached the Rokkaku agent silently. When, finally, he was close enough, he brought his skateboard over the agent's head. That, thankfully, dazed him enough for Hiroki to tackle the man. Wrapping his arms around the mans neck, and his legs around the middle. Like a constrictor, he began to squeeze. With his legs placed methodically to prevent much movement for his opponent, Hiroki used both of his arms to cut of the circulation to the man's head, cutting off the blood flow to his head with his arms. The agent's thrashing nearly knocked Hiroki's grip loose, having been his in the face and clawed a few times, but he persevered. Soon enough, the man's struggling ceased and only noise that filled the rooftops was Hiroki's gasping and panting.

When he finally got his breath back, and wiped the blood from his face, the redhead jumped off the roof, positioning his skateboard under him to absorb the brunt of the impact. He gave a small hiss as he landed, Hiroki caught sight of Susumu and that guy ducking behind a few cargo containers. Redirecting his attention towards the left side of the assault group, Hiroki kicked off and boarded faster towards them. Create a distraction. That was his goal. Twirling his bat around, the male let out a sharp whistle as he approached two Rokkaku agents. The shrill noise caught their attention, and Hiroki's first swing landed with a sickening crunch of metal meeting bone and flesh. Blood splattered onto the ground from the hit, some spraying up to coat Hiroki's jacket, dying the black fabric even darker. The second swing caught another agent's ankle, and he went crashing to the ground with a pained shout. However, he wasn't expecting a third. This one connected with his gut.

Hiroki let out a slightly choked noise as he crouched down, spinning around sharply to face his assailant. The man, bulky and probably all brawn and no brains. twirled a baton around in what the redhead considered to be lazy fashion. Bristling, Hiroki stood, ignoring the dull ache in his abdomen. Clenching his hand around the hilt of his bat, he bent his knees slightly, nearly bouncing on his skateboard. Adrenaline rushed through his veins, like a shot of euphoria. He could feel himself trembling, though not out of fear. He was... excited. He could feel the unrestrained joy in smashing his bat into this man's face over and over and over again until he was only a bloody pulp. So he did.

Hiro rushed forward, Crouching down low, Hiroki launched both himself and his board into the air. At the last second, he pushed harshly on the front of his skateboard, sending it careening into the man's neck, cracking his windpipe. Hiro rolled through with the motion, kneeing the man in the face. The jump was too high for him to land perfectly, So Hiroki landed and rolled out with the movement, the pavement digging into his shoulder. The man let out a quiet gurgle, a raspy gasp of a dying man's last breath. And Hiroki watched, with a tilted head and wide eyes as the man slumped to the ground.

Then, he calmly walked over to the other felled man, who clutched onto his ankle and let out raggad breaths. Licking his lips in anticipation Hiroki walked over to his next victim (no, they weren't victims. They were bad people who deserved this) and, with a unperturbed expression, slammed his bat into the man's jaw. The scream that the man emitted rattled him to the core, and immediately he slammed the bat into the side of the man's head. Blood splashed up, dotting along Hiroki's cheeks and running down his neck, staining his white hoodie. Then, he did it again. And again and again and again until all of the anger and regret and guilt was flushed out of his system. By the end of it, Hiroki's bat was soaked in blood, his clothes and face, and other exposed boy parts were splotched with the crimson fluid.

Hiroki released a shuddering breath and wiped his bloody bat on the man's chest, cleaning most of it away. Then, he rubbed at his cheeks, smearing the blood and adding dirt to the mix. Inhaling once, he cleared the images of the three men from his mind, hopped onto his skateboard, and stuck to the shadows.

Trembling slightly as the adrenaline began to slowly seep out of his body, Hiroki ducked back around the crates to find Susumu and the... guy. Nearly stumbling over them, Hiroki bent down and glared, "The ********, Susumu? This was supposed to be a ******** easy thing." he hissed, though his gaze narrowed onto the other man next to his boss, "Who the [********] are you?" he sneered, fully knowing the state of his appearance, bloody and furious.

Her approval meant a lot and if she had a tail like Kohaku and her's will be wagging a lot. "If you need some extra hands, Kohaku and I can help. Ya'know we can pull our share of the weight here." Akane offered. "...within reasons of course." The owl-shifter didn't mind being a waitress or cooking at the club when the official chef isn't around. Nor does she have any problem with anyone working here. Akane knew she wasn't capable of being a high-class escort. The customers will return demanding their money back.

Kohaku stared at their aunt as she actually found Akane stupid idea anything, but stupid. Not that he complaining about the workers dress in skin-tight bunny suit costumes. "We won't have to wear them are we?" Kohaku asked. It wasn't unusual for the twins to help out in the kitchen or around the club room. They aren't needed 24/7 at Risk and they end up having more times on their hands than they know what to do with. Usually Kohaku found himself being dragged all over the city or here at the bar watching Eri worked as Akane fingers patted him affectionately. Looking at his twin sisters, he pressed his face into her white hair. Feeling suddenly graceful for having a strong sister next to him since their discovery.

Feeling Kohaku face in her hair, Akane reached under his hat to pet his ears. One day he'll feel comfortable with showing them outside the complex. "Aunty... Do you know where everyone going tonight?" Akane asked suddenly. They didn't get a text message from Susumu so it must be sorta dangerous if he wasn't asking them to come too.

Eri smiled, glad that these two were here and ready to help. Such hard workers, Eri wanted to gather them up in her arms and give them a big squeeze- she would try to remember this for later when they were home at the complex. But for now, she tried her best to stay completely professional. “We might need you two doing some bar tending and answering phone calls,” Eri said, nodding, turning the page to look at the other schedules.

Bunny people were always a big draw, and depending on what Susu was doing, with her honey Wolfy, they might have to pass a lot of information around. Kohaku’s question made Eri’s mind imagine the two in bunny outfits and she let out a small squeak of delight, reaching over to pet Kohaku’s head.

“Awww you guys~ If you want to wear the outfits, you’re of course more than welcome to. But as owners and managers, I feel we are entitled to dress up how we choose. To set ourselves apart,” She let her hand rest on where Kohaku’s ear was in the hat and pat again.

Akira Hisakawa
The Protagonist

Everything seemed to happen so fast. Akira held out Susumu’s wallet, but the other man was distracted by a third man with a messenger bag. Susumu turned back to Akira and the wallet was replaced with 50,000 yen. His eyes widen at the sight of so much money just being given away. He was about to say something about not needing a reward for returning it but the third man suddenly collapsed mid-sentence. At first he had thought the man had fainted but the growing puddle of blood said otherwise. Gaping at the sight, he was out of it as he heard two men approaching from behind. One was down by the time Akira had turned and the other soon joined his friend. Who is this guy? Was all that flashed through his head for a brief moment before the fear of getting shot overtook any rational thought.

Getting grabbed and pushed towards cover, Akira wouldn’t have resisted even if he could still think straight. Following the man’s directions as well as he could, he was soon behind a shipping container and handed a revolver. Opening his mouth to speak, Susumu said not to say almost exactly what Akira was about to. His arm felt almost heavy holding the gun, despite the small size of it. When prompted to get ready to run all Akira could do was nod. Getting ready to sprint, he was startled by a man covered in blood. Turning and shouting in shock Akira fires off two shots from the revolver in the direction of the voice. Both of them miss their target, flying over his head and stopping in the far wall. Finally pulling himself together enough to speak he starts yelling back at the new guy. “Who am I? Who are you? What the heck is going on around here? People are shooting at us! All I wanted to do is return his wallet.” Akira gestures at Susumu with the gun, forgetting that it was in his hand. His breathing had become quicker and he was beginning to feel a bit light headed. “They think I’m with you guys! Oh man, this is really bad.” He begins nervously pacing in place. Thinking that for now maybe the safest place he could be for a while is with the armed men who aren’t shooting at him. “What are we waiting for? Shouldn’t we get out of here before they decide to just walk around the corner and shoot us? He spits, perhaps a bit more forcefully than he had intended, but he was getting very stressed out by this whole situation.

Amaya Takenaka
the Jorōgumo

Amaya had been picking some dried blood out from underneath her nails when a loud gunshot went off. The shock of it made her dig in a little too far and she hissed, ready to storm out to see what was going on. When she saw Susumu in a fight with multiple agents, she stopped, and pressed back into the wall. It wouldn't help him right now for her to run out unprepared. He could handle himself for now, so she took the moment to psyche herself up and get ready. The gunfire picked up, then came the group call on her cell. Time to move.

Hiroki seemed to come out of nowhere- from above, that must mean the enemy support from above was taken care of. He took out a few on the ground as well, then ducked away. She had to move soon, or all the fun would be taken by everyone else. Throwing caution to the wind (there probably weren't any witnesses making it out of here anyway) Amaya finally shifted, her body changing, four large striped legs sprouting from her waist, and her jaw stretched, morphed, splitting apart to form dripping mandibles. She hadn't brought a weapon and would have to improvise, and that meant working with what small amount of the element of surprise she had left. Especially against men with guns.

Even though Hiroki took out most of them, there were still a pair approaching the crates he had gone behind. Their attention seemed to be focused, as the spider demon crept quietly to a blind spot, then, with a lack of any better idea, bum-rushed the man on the left, who jerked his hand upon impact, firing instinctively, but instead of it's intended target, the bullet found his partner's shoulder , causing the other man to drop his weapon. A bite to the neck sealed the deal for the first man, but Amaya couldn't stop to savor the rush of blood pouring out. The second man scrambled for his gun, and found it, but she was upon him quickly. Amaya grabbed his gun hand, but the man pushed back with frantic strength, grasping her other arm. Her bloodied jaws snapped in anticipation, but she wasn't getting anywhere as he kept pushing back.

Finally, wincing at what she was about to do, she forced her head forward, forehead connecting with the gunman's. He reeled back, dazed, and that was when she struck, tearing at his throat, then moving to the organs as he bled out, perching in position to tuck in for a snack when a few more gunshots went off. Her head shot up and she tensed, but a quick scan showed that there wasn't anyone she had missed on this side. It came from behind the crates. As she moved to investigate, she took a quick look back. More Masako approaching from a way away, but if they moved quickly… they might get through.

Coming around the corner, expecting to just find Hiroki, she found Susumu as well, along with some new guy with a gun who looked way freaked out, shouting something. Amaya looked to Susumu, then back to the kid. "Who's the spaz?" She shook her head. "Actually, no time. More guys heading our way, but if Wolfgang's ready I think we can make a break for it.."

The woman tapped her foot as she waited for the elevator and groaned as it didn't come and didn't come. The two small sentient plush toys sat on her shoulders, Shiro on the left and Kuro on the right. Shiro was hopping up and down while Kuro dozed off. The woman was fed up with the elevator and without warning kicked the doors once before moving towards the stairs. Shiro managed to grab onto the woman's long black hair but kuro fell of the shoulder and rolled around on the ground as it woke up. The woman started her decent to the first floor when the elevator bell rang. Turning back the door to the stairs got in her way and the elevator door had closed by the time she made it back. Kicking the door again she cursed the elevator and let out a sigh. Disgruntled the woman walked down the stairs.

"Sylvia, if you had waited you would have gotten on." Shiro commented in a chipper voice as it slid down the railing. The woman glared at the small plush creature but gave no comment. As she descended the stairs her composure slowly fell apart. On the first floor the elevator doors opened and Kuro hopped out and looked around. It was still drowsy and let out an adorable yawn that was muffled by the furniture. As Kuro was waking up it's ears perked up at the sound of voices. It sounded like... Eri... and Akane.. which meant Kohaku was here as well. Right as it started to bounce over to them the stairwell door opened slowly as Sylvia staggered out of it. Shiro was holding her hair like reins and guiding her. As Sylvia made her way over to the woman she tried to compose her self but she was shaking slightly.

Kuro hopped after it's master and exchanged glances with Shiro who sighed. As Sylvia got close to Eri she waved at the twins before she collapsed onto the bar counter and motioned for Eri to come over. "Eri... dear... something terrible has happened. It... it's hard to talk about.... but... I felt like you should know...." She mumbled in between tears rolling down her cheeks. "I've run out of booze~" she said sobbing into her arms. While she had some left that was being save for a special occasion. Kuro and Shiro hopped up onto the counter and Shiro patted Sylvia on the head while Kuro hopped past the counter to look for a bottle of Sochu.
