◘ welcome one and all! this is my very first next generation roleplay. so, please, don't bite my head off if i have done something wrong. but please feel free to give me suggestions and what not, to improve this roleplay to everyones satisfaction. here in this thread you will see things such as the rules and announcements. i shall post in other threads profiles and such. there will be a outside of hogwarts thread. so my very good roleplayers, you can tell their parents life in the wizarding world as well. in this roleplay the setting shall take place twenty-three years after Harry's seventh year. i do hope you join this and i hope it is plenty fun!

|| O N E || first of all. i cannot stress this enough. if you are going to join, please stay active! i understand that each and everyone of you have lives and i encourage you to have one. but please post at least once every two days. or go for once a day. i want this to stay active and i don't want it to be a dud. so try to post every day, or once every two days. if you don't post in a week i will send you a pm. let's stay active, yeah?!

|| T W O || literacy is our friend, literacy is our friend. pbe literate. i will not ask five paragraphs from you, but at least go for one or two. but no 'txt tlk'. you know tlkin liek dis!!!2981029. that is just annoying and no one wants to read it.

|| T H R E E || so i know some of you like to be more than one character. am i right or am i right? so i do have some kind of restraint of characters. you are only allowed to be three, at most, main characters. i really don't mind how many oc characters you are. but i wouldn't want you hogging up all the good characters. so three characters at most and unlimited in oc. but please not, when you have a few oc characters, don't take more than you can handle. not only will your oc be mad at you for abandoning it, it will go on a murder rampage and kill your other characters. no one wants a lunatic oc. D;

|| F O U R || ooh romance is sooo encouraged! of course you can have obvious couples here. you know for ex. harry and ginny. i don't mind any. but you should all know by now. follow gaia's tos. the limit is pg-14. yes, making out and what not is allowed. but once the clothes come off. time skip or something along those lines, ya know? but create drama. makes things rather more interesting, don't you think?

|| F I V E || you know what i hate more than inactive people and non-literate people? ugly posts! D; no one, i repeat, no one! likes an ugly post. you all know what pretty is right? color and icons and pictures. just don't clutter it. there is a limit, ya know? put some quotes too. alrightie? if i see an ugly post, i will immediately tell you to change it. if you have trouble, you can always ask me. although i am not quite an expert.

|| S I X || alright. now you know most of it. stay active, stay clean, blahblahblah. i want respect for everyone and absolutely no ignoring someone! that's just mean. >( and also stay in character. hermione granger wouldn't go off and do skateboarding tricks and ron wouldn't know what soccor is. (we all know he had a fight about soccor with dean thomas in the first book, or atleast i do. hehe.)

|| S E V E N || this is considering the marriage thing and kids and such. (this rule is mainly for the people of the past rp, but may also concern newcomers) okay so we all know how important the marriage and baby's daddy/mommy and stuff is, because without it there would be no students. but if you have a character and want it to be married you need to ask the person playing that character if it is alright for your characters to be married and figure out how many children you want that couple to have and so forth. don't say you want your character to marry so and so and have like ten kids without asking the other person if that is okay with them.

Isadora pulled up in front of the train station and watched her husband get out to open the door for Bridget while she opened her own door. " I see who the favorite is." Isadora joked while Bridget just laughed and opened up the trunk of the car to grab her trunk. Meanwhile Alex helped his daughter out while shooting his wife a smile. "You know I love both my girls. But she's off to Hogwarts and deserves special treatment." Isadora just rolled her eyes as she came around to give the trunk a final yank to get it out of the car's trunk. Once the heavy object was out she handed her daughter some money that she tucked into her pocket. "Spoil yourself." She instructed causing her daughter to nod while her eyes scanned the parking lot. Isadora bit back a laugh when her daughter started waving frantically and followed her line of vision to see her sister, niece, nephew, along with Carlie and her daughter. "Well look who's here." Isadora said as Avani and the gang got closer. Avani just gave a small bow before hugging her sister.

"Nice to see you too Izzie," Avani said letting go and hugging Alex for a second while Isadora hugged Carlie. "Hey Carls," Isadora greeted before hugging her two nieces who were both looking at a potions book. "Nice to see you studying so early." Isadora said as she skimmed the book. Apparently they were reading about the classic love potion. Crazy girls. Isadora looked over at Fyodor to see him chatting with Bridget. She was always glad that those two became friends. It meant Bridget always had someone to talk to. A loud scream caused everyone to turn and see Sophie running up to them. Avani nearly fell backwards when Sophie hugged her much to Carlie's chagrin. She got a hug next with Violet following pulling her trunk.

"Ready for the new year?" Violet asked as she came to a stop next to Anastasia and Charlotte. The girls both nodded as Charlotte shut the book. "Definitely, I'm so ready to start." Anastasia agreed causing Charlotte to nod. "I'm ready to learn some more potions. The ones we learned last year were seriously lacking." Violet just looked between the two girls confused before launching into a chat about everyone's summers. Even if they were family it didn't mean they always knew what was going on.

"Ready for another year?" Bridget asked while the parents all talked about how old they were getting. Fyodor nodded as he scratched his head. "Am I ready for my sister to get hit on for another full year? Not really, am I ready to play some Quidditch and learn some new things, oh yeah." Bridget just shook her head as she followed the parents who were now leading them into the train station.

As soon as they were all through the wall they started to hug their parents and aunts goodbye. "Be good," Isadora whispered in her daughter's ear. Bridget nodded before hugging her dad. "Be good baby. Don't do anything stupid." He instructed causing Bridget to laugh before she boarded the train.

"Be good sweetie. I love you," Avani told her daughter as she hugged her. Anastasia just squeezed her mother tighter before letting go and going to stand near Charlotte. Fyodor got a hug next. "Watch out for your sister and behave. I love you, don't forget that." Fyodor just gave his mother a reassuring smile as he pulled back and followed Bridget onto the train.

"Remember, don't let anyone mess with you. You're a Garrett, meaning you are invincible." Carlie said before hugging her daughter. "Be good," Carlie said as she let her daughter go. Charlotte looked at her mother before giving up instructions of her own. "I'll be okay mom, just be happy. Hang out with Aunt Avani, or Aunt Sophie. Don't be sad okay?" Carlie just gave her daughter a small grin before waving at her and Anastasia as they got onto the train.

"Love you baby girl." Sophie said as she hugged her daughter. Violet grinned loving the feeling of being loved. "Love you too mom," Violet said as she let go only to be hugged by her dad. "Be good, remember to be fair." Violet nodded as she let go and waved to them before following her cousins onto the train. The parents all watched them get on before lingering a moment and leaving the station. They'd do as they always did after they left the station, they would go eat lunch together and catch up.

"Finally," Anastasia said as she took a seat in one of the compartments. Charlotte took a seat across from her leaning back in her seat. As much as she loved her mother she didn't like the saying goodbye part. "I know, I'm just glad we're here." Both girls looked over as Violet took a seat next to Charlotte pulling out a book to keep herself occupied. The girls traded looks before pulling out their own books to read.

"Can I just say that all the goodbyes make me sad?" Bridget asked as they headed into a separate compartment that was next to the one the girls occupied. Fyodor nodded in understanding. "I know, I hate leaving my parents. But it's part of life right?" Bridget just shrugged, she really wasn't sure if it was or not. She hoped not, she didn't think she could keep saying goodbye to her parents.

"I hate muggle traffic." Amelia looked up from her book at the sound of her father's mutterings. She watched as her mother just set her hand on her father's arm. Almost like a sign that she agreed, or that she wanted him to keep calm. Her mother met Amelia's eyes in the car's rearview mirror and she smiled a knowing smile that Amelia returned before she returned to reading her Defense Against the Dark Arts book.

Soon enough the car came to a complete stop in front of the train station. Amelia tucked her book into her bag that also housed her wand. She stepped out of the car just as her dad won the fight to get the trunk out of the car. "I swear this thing gets heavier every year." Her father mumbled causing both her and her mother to laugh. Their laughter caused her father's face to light up. He always said he loved the sound of his girls laughter. He kept a hold of the trunk as he started to walk through the train station towards platform 9 3/4. Her mother kept pace beside her, not saying a word. But she didn't expect her to say anything either. Her mother was never big on words, no one in her family really was. Both of her parents being unspeakables made words far and few between. Not that Amelia minded, she liked the silence. It gave her time to think and learn.

Once they passed through the walls of the platform Amelia watched her mom look around, probably for her aunts before she noticed something pinned to the wall. Amelia watched her mother step away to retrieve the object, look at whatever it was before a smile flitted to her lips. If she had guess, it was most likely a note from her aunts telling her where they were. She watched her mother tuck the note away before giving her daughter a hug. "Love you sweetie. Remember, be yourself. No matter how many words that means." Amelia hugged her mother tightly before moving onto her father. "Just remember baby girl, we are always here. We love you, and you're always welcome back. Be yourself, stick with your cousins." Amelia gave her father a kiss on the cheek in thanks before pulling back and waving at them both as she got onto the train.

Amelia looked at the occupants of each of the compartments until she came to the ones containing her family. In one she saw Fyodor and Bridget talking, from what she heard it was about what they wanted to do with their lives. In the other she spotted Violet, Anastasia and Charlotte just reading and occasionally talking about their summers. She settled on sitting with the girls. Anastasia never minded that Amelia didn't talk. In fact she was probably one of the few people Amelia did talk to. Violet would get a few words from her sometimes, Charlotte got a lot of looks instead of words. Looks that Charlotte knew exactly how to interpret as words. Fyodor was usually good with Amelia's silence. He would sit with her and just make comments about what was going on around them, he was a lot like her dad. Just aiming to get some laughter from the normally silent girl. Bridget was always iffy for Amelia. Sometimes she was okay with the silence, and sometimes she wanted more then Amelia was willing to give. But she could always count on Bridget to bail her out if someone was harassing her.

Amelia noticed Anastasia look up and give her a grin. "Hey Amelia," Anastasia greeted causing the other two to look up. Violet immediately hugged her causing Amelia to almost tumble backwards. She'd forgotten how much her cousin liked to hug her. She patted Violet's back as Charlotte helped pry her off of Amelia. "Don't strangle her." Charlotte said as she got Violet to let go and sit down. Charlotte shook her head as she gave Amelia a grin. "Hey Ames, good summer?" Amelia nodded as she took a seat next to Charlotte and pulled out her Defense against the dark arts book to read. She might as well enjoy the silence while it lasted.

James waved goodbye to his parents one more time after kissing his mom's cheek and giving his father a hug. He quickly hurried down the halls in search of his friends, not entirely sure where they were. No doubt Albus would be running into the train afterward, and he wanted to get as far away as possible.

He sighed dramatically as he could not find them. "Darn it." He grumbled, looking around one more time before coming to the conclusion that they weren't there yet. He plopped down into one of the compartments and stretched out, dropping his bags there and then slipping out again to find someone to taunt, harrass, and/or flirt.

"Ten," Charlotte said looking across the compartment at Anastasia. Anastasia just scoffed. "Twenty. He's not coming back." Charlotte raised an eyebrow which elicited a chuckle from Amelia. She turned to the girl and raised another eyebrow. "Care to offer up your opinion?" Amelia held her hands up, a sign that she wasn't getting involved. "That's what I thought. He is coming back." Anastasia just shook her head as she held up her book. "I'm telling you, that in the next book he's not coming back." Charlotte just rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. "He is, and when he does you owe me twenty bucks."

Anne Marie smiled as she got out of the car where her husband, Christopher, held the door open for her. She then walked to thetrunk of the car and opened it up while Adam, her eldest child and only son, grabbed his and his sister's trunks out of the trunk. Anne Marie walked to the front of the Kings Cross station in London and got trolleys to help pull all of her children's luggage. She brought them back to the car as she saw Adam and Christopher get the rest of the children's luggage out of the car. She then helped her daughters, Melrose and Madeline, get their trunks, bags, and owl/cat cages on their trolleys. When all three of her children's trolleys were fastened with their things she started walking with her children and husband to platform nine and three quarters. She watched as Adam ran through, followed by Melrose, and then Madeline, and then she ran through with Christopher.

When on the platform they walked over to a more spaced out part of the platform and watched as their children greeted fellow classmates and friends. As she walked she nodded and waved to some of the people she recognized from her time in school. Then when they had reached a less crowded spot she said good-bye to her daughters as the guys packed up everyone's stuff in the luggage rack on the train. "Have a great time at Hogwarts sweetie." "Do you have a seven?" Fyodor asked as he listened to other people on the train. He was especially listening to the compartment next door to make sure no one was bothering his sister as he looked at the cards in his hand. They were playing some muggle game that Bridget had learned from a book. "No, go fish." Fyodor grabbed another card before matching up a pair and setting them on the area of bench between him and Bridget.

"Guesses on who your sister will crush on this year?" Bridget asked as she studied her cards. Fyodor scoffed. "Not even taking guesses. She'll like who she wants, and I'll just deal with the older brother, hurt her and I'll kill you talk." He said as he waited for Bridget to ask him for a card. "Got a three?" She asked finally. Fyodor shook his head and watched as Bridget grabbed a card. "Why are we playing this again?" Fyodor asked as he stared at his cards. Bridget just shrugged. "Because we were bored." Fyodor nodded before throwing his cards on the seat and rooting through his bag for his wizard chess board. The game was starting to get boring.
