The hotel was found by a couple that had a pair of slaves. They bought the house and the the land around it including the town about 5 milies away. The couple soon found out there was abandin Nekos out in the forest. They went and gathered them all up. They told them if they wanted to survive the would work as slaves. They opened the hotel up. Each quest would get one or two nekos and they would pick which neko they would want.

Yes, that is. As I explained, I had my parents around me until the age of 14, leaving me with others of my kind. It was a hard thing, to fit in, but I’m just glad my parents had died of natural causes. Oh, then somehow I ended up being stuck in a forest. Those humans were violent creatures, but I had my trees so I was happy enough. Then, one day I just happened to be picked up against my will to become this apparent slave. I mean, what’s that meant to be? That’s just degrading the other neko’s and I forced into it.
