.: Tadashi Hoshikaru :.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi couldn't help but smile, his chest swelling with pride when she said he had to be the best stirrer ever. Heck yeah he was!!!!!!! He was certainly a determined little nut. Though her telling him that did make him happy, he was still nervous as hell when he started telling her what he thought would be fun to do at the festival. When he finished he took a deep breath and prayed she wouldn't laugh as him for asking to hold her hand. He was affraid it would make him appear to be some shy little boy who would just blush and stutter or something. But that wasn't the case, he was just a gentlemen and nervous. The nervousness would soon fade away, but for the moment...he had about a billion different thoughts running through his head. He was about to go bonkers.

Everything calm to a hault when Lilith said his name. He even stopped breathing for a few seconds, he just stood there looking at her and listening. He gave a sigh of relief when didn't laugh. Infact, she said it was cute and more importantly, SHE SAID YES! She said yes...holy crap she said yes! HAHA! I think this is the best day of my life!!! He started breathing normally again as she continued to speak. He smiled, he was nearly bouncing with joy but he contained himself. Hell, he was so excited he could kiss her but he wouldn't, he didn't want to rush things or make her feel uncomfortable. No, he'd control himself. Stay calm, he kept telling himself, don't go singing it from the rooftops or anything. Get ahold of yourself!!!!

Before he could formulate a reply she started speaking again. He listened eagerly, taking in every word. It was his first time in Konoha as well, so this was going to be a adventure for the both of them. Truth be told, he like'd her idea more than his own. Nodding his head vigorously in agreement with her suggestion. His white crazy hair going all over the place as he did so. The smile on his face widening a bit. He didn't speak, not wanting to interrupt her. As she continued to speak, Tadashi's smile widened a bit more. He once again nodded a yes, this time answering her question about the stars. But this time it was a simple nod, not as violent and nutty as the first one. Yes, he was proud to say that he did know all of their names.

His mind started to wander while Lilith looked for something. The house was definately secluded and lying the roof looking up at the stars would be very romantic. He was very close to blushing but just as his cheeks started to warm up a bit he felt a soft finger pressed up against his lips. Tadashi blinked a few times, his eyes had looked almost glazed over for a minutes as he was lost in thought. But when she put a finger to his lips he snapped out of it, his eyes first went to the lemon...then her finger. He went crosseyed trying to look at her finger. She knew him to well, stopping his questions before they began. So he just nodded to show he understood, his gaze then traveling to the lemon once more. He admired how skilled she was with her kekkei genkai. He watched as she rubbed half the lemon all over the dough. His gaze followed the second half as it was squeezed over his bowl. It was certainly a surprise, he never thought of lemon in something like this.

He smiled, making a mental not to drool all over her finger...or lick his lips for that matter. That could probably gross her out. So he tried talking instead, "I promise I wont tell a soul." He nodded, a determined to look on his face. "I think watching the fireworks from our rooftop is a brilliant idea. I shall do my best to name off all the stars I can, it's been awhile since I've really thought about all their names. It'll be peaceful just you, me, the stars and fireworks. I can't wait!" He smiled while looking deep into those beautiful eyes of hers. She was without a doubt the most beautiful and amazing woman he'd ever met. Tadashi felt as light as a feather, his heart skipping a few beats. He knew they had work to do so they could take their time getting ready for the festival but he didn't want to look away.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith smiled warmly as Tadashi promised not to tell anyone about her secret ingredient. Though his voice was slightly muffled from her finger, she was still able to make out his words. For whatever reason, she felt like his words were the honest truth. Normally she just wouldn't tempt anyone, she would of lightly pushed them into something else so they wouldn't be able to see. But with Tadashi, an invisible bond of trust had been sewn through. There was something about him that told Lilith it was ok to open up to him. Perhaps that kiss that unlocked more than it was supposed to, then again, his words had certainly swept her off her feet. Just the fact that he had followed through with his words made it all the more meaningful to the porcelain skinned girl.

Lilith was so very glad that he liked her idea. The whole reason she had bought a house that was tall and narrow was so she could stargaze without being bothered. She had always enjoyed looking up into the endless sky, it was something that she couldn't look at while she was locked up within that acursed box. There was nothing but different shades of black, grey, and a strange purple. Unless she summoned spiders to keep her company, there was really nothing to do but train and slowly fall into madness. What would happened if she had stayed much longer? It must of been fate that the old man had sold the box to a bunch of foolish teenagers. The raven haired girl had often wondered if that was how the demons felt when they were imprisoned. It was no wonder why they were so violent and destructive if that were the case! Lilith was a bit of an oddball herself, though strange was a better term for it.

As Tadashi started to go through his usual levels of excitment and his perkiness grew, Lilith's smile widened just a tiny bit. It was ok if he didn't know all the names, she probably couldn't even name one of the tiny glistening lights in the sky. He could tell her that one of them was named Bubleza and she would believe him. She'd never be able to find the star again anyway.

Tadashi was a certainly interesting man. He was so very uplifting, just having him in the room seemed to brighten everything. Lilith knew that she probably would of gotten lonely if she hadn't met him. That day that he had come to visit her in the hospital was such a nice memory. The night before was an even nicer one. She remembered that he had wanted to walk her home that night, but she was in a hurry to get back to her hospital room. Tonight would certainly have to make up for it.

Lilith noticed that he seemed to be stareing at her again. While it was rude to stare, this was different. His eyes seemed to be lost, almost as if he were hypnotized by something. (Or under a genjutsu) This was a warm loving look, something Lilith wasn't used to. It didn't creep her out, she was just at a loss of what to do. She didn't want him to feel like he was unwanted, but at the same time she didn't want to completely lose her dignity. Oh what to do, what to do... Suddenly an idea sparked in her mind. Maybe there was something that he wanted, but was too modest and kind to ask for it. But what was it? Maybe he had wanted to snack like he always did, but was restraining himself for her sake. He was such a good boy. Lilith smiled and tossed the lemon husks into the trash and placed her hand on his shoulder, the sour scent of citrus probably filling his nostrils. She softly swung her head to his side and raised her heels so she was standing on her toes. A quick tender kiss was placed on his cheek.
"Thank you for helping and not snacking on the paste."
Her heels lowered back to the ground and she turned off the stove. Everything was ready for the next step. She tore off a piece of the dough and made it into a ball in her hands. One by one she was able to fill them with paste and place them on a tray for baking. There wasn't a lot of pastries, but there was definately enough for the two of them. Though the pot was still quite filled with a thick syrupy liquid, Lilith put the tray into the oven to bake. She still had some other things to make. But these would be easier.

She grabbed the handles of the pot and picked it up with little effort. She then carried it over to the counter and began to pour it into a pan that she had set out earlier. As the paste poured out, it cooled against the metal pan and became more like a fruit roll up. (Though these probably don't exsist in the naruto universe) She set the now empty pot back onto the stove and turned to Tadashi.
"I bet you're really going to like this part. You get to clean the bowl."
By 'clean', she meant eat all the sweet leftovers.

Lilith spun around to grab the different bags of candy from the counter. She started to open the bags, releasing a sugary sweet scent into the air. She set them down next to pan as her black tentacles sliced the paste into rectangles. She would cautiously grab handfulls of different assortments of candy and place them in the paste before rolling them up into a cane. Her tentacle was ready to slice up the cane into what seemed to be, candy sushi. It was a creative idea, though it was probably teeth rotting. She could almost imagine a waterfall falling from Tadashi's mouth. She would be sure to give him some when they were done.

One by one she rolled and cut the treats, each one unique and colorful. She didn't take very long to finish these, but they certainly looked delicious. She picked one up and held it to Tadashi's mouth.
"Taste it."

(( Here I was wondering why no reply showed up in my subscription list, and then it turns out I accidentally unsubscribed .. I apologize -__- ))

Lee lowered the hand holding the bag of what used to be dango. Now it was just filled with sticks. He had a healthy appetite. “She sounds like a good person, your friend.” He used to stop by at Gai-Sensei's place and be invited to stay and eat, usually curry, but sadly Gai wasn't present at the moment, so he had had to eat alone for a good while. He missed his sensei .. “What a nice thought.” He said truthfully. “Such a beautiful display of young love as we are nearing the springtime of youth again.” His face broke into a wide grin. Naruto-Kun was a good friend of his, and so was Hinata-San, even if they had not talked much. There was little that made Lee happier than his friends being happy, and living in their youth.

“Hm. Thank you. I cannot stop training though, even on an occasion like this. A genius of hard word must keep working hard, or the momentum he had built up will leave in an instant.” He did not have anything else to build up regarding to being a ninja, so staying off training, even for a little while, was out of the question. “Where are you and Naruto-Kun going this evening?” He was not that dense. He would sometimes miss things in excitement, and be a little slow on some things, but this was obvious, even to Lee.

Hinata listened as Lee stated his belief about training. He wasn't going to take a break for even one day? Too much of anything was never good, but then again, Hinata could understand why he was this way. He had something to prove. That, and he took after Gai. Having his arm and leg crushed was a set back for him, but not for long. He was still a force to be reckoned with, and having her cousin as part of his team only made him that much stronger. Sparing with a Hyuuga for most of your life, the clan prodigy at that, would make you very skilled at evading attacks and predicting those of others. Even without Chakra, Lee was definately a prodigy of his own, Hinata could think of no other shinobi that could match his skills in pure Taijutsu. Even Gai would have to resort to Chakra eventually. Hinata herself was light on her feet, but that still couldn't compare. Non-stop training and striving to get better was who Lee was. But even he deserved a break every now and again. But how could Hinata help him without trying to force that idea on him. She had to think of that for a few seconds before she finally thought of a solution.
"When a storm comes around a big solid strong tree might be uprooted and die. A young youthful tree is flexible and will weather the wind from the storm. I'm not really sure if that'll help any but I trust that you won't overexert yourself and end up in the hospital."

A soft blush came to Hinata's face as Lee asked about what her and Naruto were going to do later. She herself couldn't believe it. She had said it before, but it hadn't seemed to really stick on either one of them. She put her knuckle to her mouth once more, this childish trait still strong and evident in the young Heiress.
"W-well he asked me to accompany him to the New Year's Festival. I'm really excited though, I hope it all goes well.."
Hinata was also very nervous, and with good reason to be. She fainted just by looking at Naruto and him getting too close. Naruto was someone who always wanted to be in everyone's face and be noticed, it was a combination for disaster.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi didn't want to ask for anything, though he did want candy. He was just lost in her eyes. His mind wandering back to that kiss in the secret room, couldn't really blame him it's not like such things happened to him on a daily basis. His mind continued to drift, back to when they first met. He'd found her mesmerizing and nearly forgot to breath the first time he saw her. The same thing happened when she kissed him. Needless to say the poor ol' chap was head over heels nuts and in love with Lilith. He started thinking about tonight, trying to think of stuff for them to do. His mind suddenly froze when felt her hand on his shoulder, next thing he knew he could feel her soft lips pressed against his cheek.

Tadashi kept his cool, well...for the most part though his cheek did become rather warm. He stood there for a second, starring off into lala land. He decided that is this was all a dream he never wanted to wake up, but it was real...he never wanted today to end. He heard her speak, snapping him out of it. He'd blink a few times before smiling and nodding, "I'm always happy to help you. It was tempting but for you I fought off the urge." He gave a goofy smile and chuckled a bit. He looked over her shoulder, watching as she rolled the dough into balls and filled them with paste. He licked his lips, his mouth watering. His eyes were as big as dinner plates...it all looked so yummy!!!!

He watched her put them in the oven, he frowned a bit which quickly turned into a smile when Lilith poured the the paste out on a metal pan. He was awed by how quickly it cooled and the texture after it did so. His gaze went to Lilith when she spoke. Yeah...noooooooow he really was drooling. His eyes widened even more, "I get to clean the bowl...." He was damn near bouncing up and down with joy. He picked up the bowl and ran his finger across the bottom of the bowl, licking all the yummy paste off. "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, yummy!!!!" He licked around the rim of the bowl, ending up with paste on the tip of his nose.

He wiggled it a bit but didn't worry about it, he just went back to cleaning the bowl. All the while he watched as Lilith put candy into the paste and rolled it like a cane. He was very curious when she started cutting it up...candy sushi!!! What a brilliant, stupendous, glorious, idea!!!!!!!!! Oooooh all he could do was hope that she'd let him have one. He put his finger in the bowl...brining the paste covered finger to his mouth and missing when Lilith turned to look at him, a piece of candy sushi in hand. Missing his mouth ended up with paste on the side of his face and in his hair. He was like a messy little kid!

His eyes widened, licking his lips. He opened his mouth slowly, gently biting down on the candy treat. He slowly pulled the piece of candy out of her fingers, smiling as he did so. He jerked his head back letting the piece of candy fly into the air. The goof ball opened his mouth and caught the piece of candy, smiling as he slowly started to chew. It was like when you toss a piece of popcorn into the air and catch it in your mouth. His eyes widening even more, as did the grin on his face. He swallowed before speaking, not wanting to talk with his mouth full. "Sooooooo yummy!!!!!!! I could eat about a thousand of those things....." That was a understatement...like he'd stop at a thousand.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Now Lilith had kissed the pale headed boy twice. Once on the lips and once on the cheek, and she intended to do it again. But that would have to wait until after the festival. Tadashi didn't seem to complain or fuss when she did so either, so he must of not minded very much. At least, that was how Lilith saw it. The soft blushes that Tadashi occasionally got seemed to confirm what Lilith hoped to be truth. It felt so nice to have this type of contact with another human being. What made him stay around was a mystery to the raven haired girl. It must of been the hint of venomous danger that allured them close to one another and threaded their strings of fate.

When Lilith first set her ruby eyes upon this little goofball, she couldn't of imagined that they would be like this. She knew they would be friends, just because he loved spiders. Ensnareing Tadashi's heart just sort of happened, he was in love with Lilith for being herself and no one else. Tadashi had learned to play with Lilith's delicate heartstrings, and struck all the right chords in beautiful harmony.

The morbid little beauty could not figure out why anyone would love her. She was a monster, monsters weren't meant to love. Although she was a hopeless romantic at heart, she just figured that the little novels she read could never be about her. But here was someone else, much like herself, that was able to easily pry open the calcified remains of her shriveled heart. And she loved every second of it. The only compassion she ever felt was that from the spiders that constantly flocked around her. It was as if they knew she needed caring kindness from someone, perhaps that's why they seemed to enjoy Tadashi's company as well. To see Lilith happy was what they wanted. Lilith was happy being able to be seen on a human level with another being like herself. The only thing that could make her happier was children, but that would have to wait...maybe.

Lilith adored how childish Tadashi could be at times. It always brought a smile to her face when she saw him get excited. He was just a spark of energy, or rather a few thousand volts of it. Seeing him bouncing with joy to clean the remainder of the paste and help her around the kitchen just made him seem all the more child-like. It was just so... cute! Lilith couldn't contain herself at times, she just wanted to squeeze him till he burst. Seeing him stick his head inside the pot to get every last drop was enough to make her softly giggle. His smacking and slurping was just like Winnie the Pooh with his mountain of honeypots. Seeing him covered in spots of sticky colorful paste in every crevice he could get it into made the smile on her face sweeten and warm. How could she ever get upset at a face like that? It was like she had a small child tugging at her apron strings to show her what it had done. To say it was adorable, was an understatement.

After Tadashi had performed his minor trick of tossing the candy into his mouth, Lilith lightly clapped her hands a few times and released a small 'yay' from her lips as she waited for his response. If there was anyone in the village of Konoha that knew their candy, it was Tadashi. He always had candy somewhere, and it was a sure bet he'd probably spoil his children with sweet little treats as well if he had any. When the blue eyed sugar god released his approval, Lilith mirrored it with equal excitment.
"Oh that's wonderful! I'm so very glad they turned out so delicious, let's hope the cakes come out just as wonderful."
Wasn't she forgetting something? She still needed to deliver all of the little treats, and package them! Well the truth was that she didn't forget them, she just had a very interesting plan for them. She tilted her head up to look at the ceiling, her lips moving and seeming to mouth words, though no sound escaped. Little by little, the tiny eight-legged creatures began to swarm onto the counter and examine the tasty sugar morsels. They communicated with one another before beginning to spin their silken webs. Lilith lowered her head to look at them before turning around to face Tadashi once again, a smile on her face as she softly poked one of the sticky patches on his face.
"You look as sweet as you are now~. But you should go clean up and get ready for the festival. The cakes should be done by then and we can take a walk around before the festival starts."
She chuckled softly and waved her hand as if softly urging him to go. She was eager to see if the spiders had done a good job on his Kimono. She needed to get ready herself. She wanted to look nice for Tadashi, she wanted tonight to be wonderful.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi absolutely loved it when Lilith kissed him, her soft lips against his was probably the best feeling in the whole entire world. Least, that's how he felt about it. She'd kissed him twice and he could only hope she'd do it again. Oh how he wanted to kiss those lips once again, perhaps tonight...after the festival of course. He wanted to surprise her with flowers, just to see her smile. To hold her close and let her know that even monsters were meant to be loved. It made him happy to see her smiling and giggling. To know that he had some part in making that happen filled him with joy. He had a feeling that such things were not exactly everyday occurrences for her, but he was bound and determined to make it so.

He smiled when she clapped, he was glad he pulled it off. On more than one occasion this simple trick went horribly wrong and he ended up with a black eye or something along those lines. He could so childish at times, especially when he was around candy and Lilith. But he could also be a romantic gentleman. His father taught him how to treat women, though Vix had never really dated anyone before. He never really thought about such things, he'd spent his years training. But with Lilith, things were different. When he looked at her, he couldn't think of anything else. He loved that she liked how childish he could be at times, his love of sweets, etc. She didn't judge him and he certainly didn't judge her, no he adored her.

He smiled and nodded his head, about to speak but he decided to just watch for the moment. He was amazed at how she and the spiders communicated and worked together. He loved the spiders, they were absolutely amazing. Almost as amazing as Lilith, but nothing was more extraordinary than her. This coming for a guy who soared high above the clouds and the tops of mountains. Who watched the sunrise from heights that most could only dream about. One day he'd ask Lilith if she'd like to see the world for such heights, she would be safe in his arms. He'd do anything to protect her. But that would wait for now he just watched, eyes as big as dinner plates as the spiders started spinning their silken webs.

He just watched in amazement until Lilith's beautiful voice reached his ears. He blinked a few times before looking into those gorgeous eyes of hers once again. His smile widened even more. He nodded in agreement, he knew he needed to shower and get dressed. He couldn't wait for the cakes to be done, more importantly he couldn't wait to go to the festival. Fireworks, food, games, and time with Lilith...what could possibly be better? He also couldn't wait to try out his knew kimono, it was probably the best gift he'd ever gotten.

"Sounds like a wonderful plan, " he smiled and ran a hand through his hair. "Ha, guess I better take a shower first. I can't wait till the festival." He leaned forward and gently kissed her cheek, "I loved cooking with you Lilith, thank you for letting me help." He smiled before turning on his heel and heading towards the stairs. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs and turned his head back to look at Lilith. "Everyone is going to love those delicious treats as much as I do. Though, that's nothing compared to how much I love you." He spoke in a soft tone, smiling before walking up the stairs. Once he reached the second floor he headed straight for the bathroom.

When shut the door behind him he let out a gentle sigh and smiled, he was absolutely nuts about her. He looked in the mirror for a few minutes, lost in his thoughts before he finally got undressed and hopped in the shower. He'd folded his clothes and removed his collar as he waited for the water to warm up, which didn't take long. Washington paste out of his hair was going to be interesting. He also made sure not to stay in the shower to long, in case Lilith needed to take one. He started to hum a little tune as he worked to wash out the paste. He'd nearly skipped up the stairs and now he was singing in the shower, boy was he in a good mood. The shower only lasted about 15 minutes or so.

He rubbed his head with a towel, his hair would look just like it had before the shower...but without the paste. He dried off and wrapped the towel around his waist. He put on his collar and hung his clothing over his arm before leaving the bathroom. He poked his head out the door before he stepped out and started walking towards his room. He'd put the kimono in his room before showering and he couldn't see the point in getting dressed to walk to his room so he could just take them off to change all over again. He walked slowly, the old floorboards had a thing for squeaking when they really didn't needed to stay quiet. He stopped and sniffed the air, the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen were making him drool. He once again got lost in thought, just standing there for several minutes enjoying the splendid smells.

||•♥•|| Lilith Nekomata ||•♥•||
The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith couldn't help but enjoy Tadashi's company more and more. Perfection seemed to just be radiating off of the white haired boy as he spent more and more time around Lilith. For once Lilith wasn't just understanding what the characters of romance novels were feeling, she was experiencing it herself! Her chest felt odd, like something that was previously missing was now there. Her very bones felt warmer, almost as if they were absorbing Tadashi's body heat. It was such a nice feeling, like life itself were flowing through her veins. Could all this really be because of Tadashi? If it was, then Lilith didn't want him to go away any time soon! This was a wonderous thing to experience, oh how she hoped that things would only get better.

The spiders had begun to work together to carefully knit small cloths of silk and wrap up a few of the candy treats. Together they formed what Lilith would call 'adorable little sacks'. All they needed were sticks and they would look like mini runaway bags. Each with a different pattern. They had decided among themselves that they would deliver the candies for Lilith so she could be alone with Tadashi. They weren't stupid, quite the opposite in fact, they could see what was happening. Spiders were not a jealous species, they wanted to give something back to Lilith. She protected and loved them on a daily basis, never took advantage of them, and never asked them to leave; How could they not wish for her happiness? It was a sure bet that if anyone ever made her upset, they would see to it that they got what was coming to them. The spiders had taken a liking to Tadahshi as well, he never crushed a single one nor had he hurt Lilith. He did, however, have a bottomless pit for a stomach that posed a challange for Lilith. The spiders knew she liked people to be full when she cooked, but he seemed happy all the same and quite satisfied. That was enough for Lilith at the moment. When they got more money though, she planned to make him full at least once.

Lilith chuckled softly as Tadashi both agreed with her plan, and ran a hand through his sticky folicles. She had been looking forward to this all morning. Suddenly, there was a new feeling running through her. A tender kiss had been placed on her cheek, by none other than Tadashi. Her body temporarily froze, the only part of her seeming to work was her ears as they listened to Tadashi's smooth gracious voice. A boy showing manners and gratitude? Now that was attractive. Lilith could feel her cheeks heating up in a soft blush that luckily blended well into her pale skin. As he turned away, Lilith had to descritely fan herself off, but she didn't have much time as he stopped to add to his earlier statement. Lilith's heart skipped a couple of beats. All she seemed to be able to do was watch him as he walked up the stairs and disappeared from her sight. Not only had he complimented her cooking but she had also declared his love for her. Any suspicion or unclarity about Tadahshi's feelings towards her were now blown away. The raven haired girl put her hands to her cheeks as her mind started to reel with thoughts about what had just occured.
"Tadashi...loves...me...? He loves me more than he loves candy? ...Wow."
Tadashi was a man that loved his candy. From what Lilith had picked up, his two loves were Candy and then Training. But now, she was on top of that list? Something in her clicked, she realised that she too had developed feelings for Tadashi. These weren't the normal feelings that she usually felt for friends, these were new and more powerful. She looked to the spiders for a moment, allowing her face time to cool, and listened as they seemed to silently communicate to her. After a few moments she nodded her head and got a determined glint in her eyes.
"You guys are right, I'll have to work hard to not let this one go!"
A soft blush came once again to her face as the spiders remarked an idea of their own. It was probably along the lines of 'so you can have lots of babies!'. It was a good thing that she was the only one that could hear them. As arachnids, that would be the first and only thing on their minds. Lilith sighed softly to release the tension that they had caused. Children would have to wait, first she had to make sure she didn't mess things up.

Lilith waited for the upstairs shower to turn on before she exited the kitchen and walked to one of the downstair rooms. She had a trunk of special items in there, and she didn't want to risk Tadashi seeing her special kimono if he didn't need to. She walked over to it and began to unlock it, pulling out the soft pale fabric that she intended to wear. The box itself smelt of fresh orchids. The scent was readily embedded into the cloth as a result. She smiled and began to change, she wanted to look nice for Tadashi.

Much later, Lilith was busy taking the cakes out of the oven and placing them into a basket. The scent of flowers and freshly baked 'bread' was swirling around the house, along with Lilith's ever present humming. Lilith herself, looking quite elegant. It was sure to be a sight if Tadashi were to walk in. Her new kimono was made with layers. A shiney black kimono top with an even darker pattern of webbing knit into it glistened in the afternoon sunlight, its sleaves went past her fingers. Beneath it, was a white kimono that opened at her thighs and draped down to her ankles. There was even a red ribbon that wrapped around her mid torso and tied itself in a large red bow in the back. All of this draped down past her shoulders and swung across her chest. Even her hair had been fixed up. The white tuffs on her head had been fashioned to look like two lotus flowers abundant with petals, red ribbons tied beneath them. A ribbon was also tied around her neck, with a medium sized gemstone resting at her stomach. If she hadn't been beautiful before, she certainly hoped that she did now. All she wanted was for Tadashi to be happy, so that one day she could be a good wife and mother to his children. If they had any.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Had the goofball realized that Lilith was blushing, he probably would've felt a bit more relaxed about his actions....or apologized for fear she was offended. He hadn't really planned to just spill his guts, he wanted to surprise her at the festival or one morning when he brought her some flowers but something had just come over him. He couldn't help it, he wanted to yell it as loud as he could on the top of the mountain so everyone would know. He was like a balloon that had met it's limit and suddenly someone just added a tiiiiiiiiny bit of air and POP, he spilled his guts. He could only hope that she felt the same. What he had said hadn't really hit him at first, he'd really only started to wrap his mind around it while he was in the shower. The ball was in her court now and Tadashi had no idea what to expect.

He stood there thinking about all the different possibilities as he stood there enjoying the smells coming from the kitchen. He forgot that at the moment aside from his towel he was indisposed to say the least. However, he finally snapped out of it when he heard a bird chirping outside. He blinked several times before suddenly yelping and running off in a blur as fast as his legs could carry him. How embarrassing would it be if Lilith had walked by!!! He went straight to his room, shutting the door behind him. He put his clothes in the closet before shaking his head like a dog. Tadashi walked over the bed and picked up his kimono, unfolding it gently. He held it up to get a good look at it, it was absolutely amazing; the spiders had done an amazing job.

He put the kimono on, tossing the towel on the bed beforehand. Tadashi would stand there for several minutes starring in the mirror. He absolutely loved it. The amazing creation fit him perfectly; it complemented his build and made his eyes stand out even more. It even went well with his insane hair, which he decided to try and tame….failing miserably however. He smiled, chest swelling with pride before he slipped into his sandals and left his room. He couldn’t wait to show Lilith!!! More importantly he couldn’t wait to see her outfit, he knew she would be gorgeous she already was and he didn’t think it was possible for her to be any more beautiful.

He eagerly made his way down the stairs, taking them two at a time. He started to hum a little tune as he reached the bottom of the stairs. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs, first looking towards the kitchen. That's when his gaze settled on what had to be one of the most amazing kimonos he'd ever seen. Tadashi's smile widened as he looked over Lilith's outfit. Well he could see of it that is. He slowly walked into the kitchen, his smile widening even more. "Lilith..." he spoke in his usual calm tone, a bit of a twinkle in his eyes as he spoke. He spoke as he walked towards her. His grin was already huge, who knows how long it will be when he saw her from the front.

He walked to the side of/in front of her so he could see the front. She was absolutely gorgeous. She always was and he didn't think it was possible for her to be anymore beautiful than she already was but for somehow SHE WAS!!!!!!!!! "You're absolutely beautiful. I didn't know it was possible for you to be anymore gorgeous than you already were but I was wrong. The kimono is amazing and beautiful, you are beautiful. You took my breath away." He reached for her hand to gentle grasp it in his own rough hand, bending over a bit as he brought the hand to his lips...gently kissing it. It was something that gentlemen did eons ago that men rarely did nowadays.

"I am honored to be your date for the evening. I know we are going to have an amazing time." He nodded a glint of determination in his eyes. He smiled, lowering her hand but not letting go. He loved her kimono....he loved everything about her. He could only hope that she thought his gift looked good on him. Had he known what the spiders had been talking about earlier, he'd probably be blood red by now just from blushing. Of course, certain thoughts about the future had popped into his head but still, he would've been blushing. For now he was just praying that he didn't screw things up!!
