.: Tadashi Hoshikaru :.
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill
Tadashi couldn't help but smile, his chest swelling with pride when she said he had to be the best stirrer ever. Heck yeah he was!!!!!!! He was certainly a determined little nut. Though her telling him that did make him happy, he was still nervous as hell when he started telling her what he thought would be fun to do at the festival. When he finished he took a deep breath and prayed she wouldn't laugh as him for asking to hold her hand. He was affraid it would make him appear to be some shy little boy who would just blush and stutter or something. But that wasn't the case, he was just a gentlemen and nervous. The nervousness would soon fade away, but for the moment...he had about a billion different thoughts running through his head. He was about to go bonkers.
Everything calm to a hault when Lilith said his name. He even stopped breathing for a few seconds, he just stood there looking at her and listening. He gave a sigh of relief when didn't laugh. Infact, she said it was cute and more importantly, SHE SAID YES! She said yes...holy crap she said yes! HAHA! I think this is the best day of my life!!! He started breathing normally again as she continued to speak. He smiled, he was nearly bouncing with joy but he contained himself. Hell, he was so excited he could kiss her but he wouldn't, he didn't want to rush things or make her feel uncomfortable. No, he'd control himself. Stay calm, he kept telling himself, don't go singing it from the rooftops or anything. Get ahold of yourself!!!!
Before he could formulate a reply she started speaking again. He listened eagerly, taking in every word. It was his first time in Konoha as well, so this was going to be a adventure for the both of them. Truth be told, he like'd her idea more than his own. Nodding his head vigorously in agreement with her suggestion. His white crazy hair going all over the place as he did so. The smile on his face widening a bit. He didn't speak, not wanting to interrupt her. As she continued to speak, Tadashi's smile widened a bit more. He once again nodded a yes, this time answering her question about the stars. But this time it was a simple nod, not as violent and nutty as the first one. Yes, he was proud to say that he did know all of their names.
His mind started to wander while Lilith looked for something. The house was definately secluded and lying the roof looking up at the stars would be very romantic. He was very close to blushing but just as his cheeks started to warm up a bit he felt a soft finger pressed up against his lips. Tadashi blinked a few times, his eyes had looked almost glazed over for a minutes as he was lost in thought. But when she put a finger to his lips he snapped out of it, his eyes first went to the lemon...then her finger. He went crosseyed trying to look at her finger. She knew him to well, stopping his questions before they began. So he just nodded to show he understood, his gaze then traveling to the lemon once more. He admired how skilled she was with her kekkei genkai. He watched as she rubbed half the lemon all over the dough. His gaze followed the second half as it was squeezed over his bowl. It was certainly a surprise, he never thought of lemon in something like this.
He smiled, making a mental not to drool all over her finger...or lick his lips for that matter. That could probably gross her out. So he tried talking instead, "I promise I wont tell a soul." He nodded, a determined to look on his face. "I think watching the fireworks from our rooftop is a brilliant idea. I shall do my best to name off all the stars I can, it's been awhile since I've really thought about all their names. It'll be peaceful just you, me, the stars and fireworks. I can't wait!" He smiled while looking deep into those beautiful eyes of hers. She was without a doubt the most beautiful and amazing woman he'd ever met. Tadashi felt as light as a feather, his heart skipping a few beats. He knew they had work to do so they could take their time getting ready for the festival but he didn't want to look away.
