"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi watched Lilith carefully as he spoke. He didn't want to miss a single reaction, hoping that he'd be able to tell from her reaction what her response would be. He stared into those beautiful eyes of hers, dying to know what was going on in that head of hers. His main worry was that she wouldn't believe him, laugh, and walk off. Surely she wouldn't...would she? THINK POSITIVE!!! He kept teling himself as he continued to speak. He'd never done this before so it was all knew to him. So of course he was nervous as hell yet somehow, for the moment atleast, he managed to keep his cool. He was determined not to stutter or blush, he was after all trying to sweep the woman off her feet.

He took note of the fact that she was kind've becoming breathless. Her breathing was off and she'd started to lift her head on her own. This confused him even more, he now understood why his father always told him to never try and understand women. Just enjoy the mystery of it all and love em'. He never understood till now. He shook off all his thoughts of worry and just went back to speaking. As he continued to look into those eyes of hers he suddenly became very calm and relaxed as the words flowed from his lips. There was no pausing to think about what he was saying, he just said what his heart was screaming at him.

When he finished speaking he held his breath and prayed for the best. What was about to happen was a complete shock but a good one to say the least. He smiled when she place her hand on the side of his face. He loved the feeling of her soft hand on his face and hair. His widened when she spoke, followed by a series of blinks. Let me deci-...before Tadashi could finish the thought he felt Lilith's hand wrap around the side of his neck and her lips press against his. Tadashi's eyes would widen, he felt like he could sing from the mountain tops.

He kissed her back with the same amount of passion as the hand under her chin would slide around to the back of her neck, his hand gently cupping the back of her head/neck. His thumb ran gently across her jaw line as his hand moved to it's new position. His other hand would move to Lilith's side and gently pull her to him. Her kimino top was soft and felt good against his bare chest. He continued to kiss her, not wanting the moment to end. He could've stood there with her forever. The former hoshinin and six tailed demon was so excited that his heart skipped a few beats.

Everything about the kiss was amazing. He loved the feel of her soft lips against his. It wasn't the first time he'd ever been kissed but those were the kisses of young girls who had crushes on the crazy haired boy who they were told to stay away from. When he was young his fellow nin in training, atleast the females anyways, found him interesting. They giggled when he passed by and would kiss his pale cheeks whenever they got the chance. Their parents would scold them, Tadashi just shrugged it off. Course back then all he cared about was training. Now he cared about two things, Lilith and then training.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith's eyes closed for a few moments as her kiss was returned. Her body was pulled and pressed up against his, was this right? She had met him only about a week ago, yet he had already fallen for her and her heart had already been wrapped and encased in his own silken web. Was it the cookies that brought these feelings on? If it was, then her business really would pick up quickly. But despite wheither it was the cookies or pure luck that they had gotten this close, she really didn't give a damn. This made her happy. This filled her with a warmth that she thought she would never feel. Was this how love was supposed to be? Her past was less than pure, she had done things that she wasn't proud of, but none of those things made her feel this way.

Slowly, she broke away from the kiss, allowing her heels to rest on the floor once more. She was shorter than Tadashi, but not by much. When she wore her shoes she was normally a little higher than eye level with most people, some were just tall freaks of nature that shouldn't be competed with.

Her strawberry eyes raised up to his own baby blue orbs, a new spark that previously wasn't there. She smiled softly and wrinkled her nose, releasing a very minor toothless chuckle.
"So what now? Marriage and Children?"
Of course she was merely joking. She was never one to rush into anything, although that is what they were doing now. Her free hand reached up and pressed its index finger against the tip of his nose.
"We'll just keep this our little secret..."
Lilith took her hands from the side of his face and nose, and seemed to almost glide across the floor towards the back doorway. She still had a few things to do today. Including making sweets as a thank you for certain people. Tadashi was sure to want to help with that. She went down a few stairs before waiting to see if he was going to follow. She turned half way around, and watched the doorway.

She now had a new bounce in her step, a lightness in her being, was this love carrying her about? Was this weightless feeling her chest normal? Is this what all those characters in fairy tales felt like? She hoped it was. She hoped this was something everyone experienced sooner or later. If a kiss happened once, would it happen again?

Also, what was their relationship now? Were they still just friends, or more? Did that kiss mean more than it should have? Was he going to tell Anazeka about this? She seemed to be one of his best friends as of yet. There were so many questions that needed to be thought through. One thing was certain, things would probably not be the same and tonight's date would seem all the more special. Therefore, she would have to do something to make herself seem special.

Tadashi enjoyed every second of the kiss. He didn't question what was happening, for him it felt right. He couldn't explain it, but he knew it wasn't the cookies. He'd been fond of Lilith since the day he met her, at the time he thought nothing of it but as the days passed the fondness grew. Tadashi couldn't help but smile whenever Lilith entered the room or his heart skipping a beat whenever she touched him. Living with her had made it all the more interesting. He was unsure of what to do with himself half the time. The cookie was just the icing on the cake, a confirmation for him not that he needed it. Tadashi was sure of his feelings he just couldn't figure out how to tell her since everything had happened so fast.

When Lilith pulled away Tadashi blinked a few times before starring into those strawberry eyes of hers. She was a little shorter than him, so he had to tilt his head slightly downward but nothing crazy. He couldn't help but smile when she smiled and wrinkled her nose. He was on the edge of his seat wondering what she was about to say. Would she say it was a mistake? Would she say something positive...he could only hope. Would she say anything at all for that matter or leave him hanging. He didn't have a clue, but one thing was certain he certainly didn't expect for her to say what she did. His eyes widened a bit his smile widening.

Before he could think of a response or for that matter fully comprehend what Lilith had said she put her index finger on the tip of his nose and spoke once more. He nodded in a bit of a dazed manner. He watched as she glided across the room and exited not a moment later. He stood there for a second, blinking a few times. He shook his head as he picked up his shirt and collar. Tadashi finally came to the conclusion Lilith had to be joking about the marriage and babies, least for now anyways. No way she'd want to rush into such a thing, though it did make him blush slightly which faded instantly.

The former hoshi nin would exit the room, stopping at the top of the stairs to stare down at Lilith for a moment. He shut the door and slowly put his shirt back on before he stepped down to where Lilith was. He fiddled with his collar for a moment before there was a click, the lock snapping into place. With as heavy as the collar was it required a heavy duty lock. He smiled, the twinkle in his eyes was more vibrant than ever before, "What all do we need to do before this evening?" He asked in his usual calm tone, his never looked away. The kimono the spiders had made was safely drapped over his arm at the moment. He'd be sure to put it up before doing anything.

Thoughts were flooding into Tadashi's mind. What did the kiss mean? Was it the first of many, one could only hope? How was he supposed to act now? What was their status....did friends kiss like that? No, they had to be more I mean he'd just spilled his guts to her and her reply was a kiss! Tadashi started to smile more, he needed to think something else or his face was going to get stuck like this. He couldn't wait for their date. He continued to smile as he waited for Lilith's reply.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith smiled as Tadashi exited the room and joined her on the stairs. He seemed to be as giddy as she was. She was glad that no one had caught them, that might of been the first time that she ever felt akward. She was a pretty open person, even catching someone's face in her breasts wouldn't make her embarassed or flustered. More then likely she'd probably just laugh and pat their head. People could probably look up her skirt and she wouldn't smash their heads into the ground. It was only certain things that made her mad. But when those strings were tugged all hell would break loose. That's when her temper truely surfaced.

Lilith smiled a bit more and chuckled as Tadashi fiddled with his accessories. People would be think the wrong thing happened in that room. A boy and a girl, alone in a windowless area of an empty house, exiting said room with new twinkles in their eyes and the slight adjusting of clothing. It was certainly hinting at something, something not as innocent as a kiss. She began to think of how she should approach the subject of sweets to someone with an obvious sweet tooth. What better way than to just be blunt?

She looked up at him after a few more moments of thought with those now sparkling strawberry eyes of hers.
"I was thinking of making some Candy Sushi and Moon Cakes. Sushi as a thank you for those who helped me, and cakes to celebrate the new year."
She softly giggled a bit before stepping down a few stairs. She spun around on her toes to look up at him, her long silken hair swaying around like dancers' ribbons.
"Would you like to help? You just have to keep yourself from eating the ingredients before we're finished."
She wagged one of her slender pale fingers in a 'no-no' motion, teasing him once again. It was then that she got another ingenious idea.
"When we're done, why don't we stop by Anezka's house and give her some? Do you know where she lives?"
Lilith had been in the village for over a week and she still hadn't met the girl she owed her life to. She was eager to meet the snow haired girl, and thank her personally. Also, she wondered if Anezka was going to the festival as well. Did she have a date, or even a love interest? That was going a bit too personal to ask.. But if she wasn't planning on going to the festival, she probably would be now. Lilith was determined to pay her back somehow. But how..?

She continued to curiously gaze up at Tadashi with her sparkling ruby eyes. It was a wonder that her blackened lips hadn't rubbed off on his. That would of been an embarassing situation for him. Probably for anyone. It was probably a good thing that this was just an innocent kiss and nothing disgusting and animalistic. A kiss that was most likely the spark of an interesting chain of events. Was she supposed to hold his hand now? Was she supposed to walk around with him? Did that mean they were engauged? Ok now that last one was going a bit overboard. Even she knew it didn't work that way. ...Right? Perhaps she should ask.. then again what if she hurt his feelings? What if she sounded stupid. Perhaps it was just better to stay quiet and allow things to run their natural course.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi hadn't really thought about how it looked for the two of them to be exiting such a private room in such a manner. He'd probably think about it later when he was alone and meditating, which would send him into a fit of blushing and probably make him lose his concentration. He'd end up wondering about what might of happened if someone would have walked in on them kissing. Which would of course make him blush more. But for the moment his thoughts were all on Lilith ingeneral and the future, not about what things looked like or what might've happened.

His mind wandered to the up coming festival as he waited for her reply to his question. It only made him smile more. He'd come to the conclusion that if there was dancing at the festival he would ask her to dance even if the kiss was supposed to be a secret, that didn't mean everything had to be secret...right? The people watching would just think it was two friends dancing...right? Well then there's the whole kiss when the clock strikes twelve thing. Should he kiss her? Would she even let him for that matter? So many thoughts and questions, it was making his head spin.

The chaos in his head screeched to a halt when he heard her speak. Her beautiful voice relaxed him and suddenly he'd forgotten everything that was confusing him. He just looked into those eyes of hers and listened. The smile on his face widening when she mentioned making sweets. He looked like a kid in a candy shop, which wasn't good seeing as he was thinking about his two favorite things, Lilith and candy. Poor poor Tadashi, the chap was doomed from the get go. His eyes widened when she asked if he wanted to help, the cogs in his head were turning. Plots of how to eat all the sweets were forming and quickly shattered when she shook her finger at him. The big grin turning into a frown.

All he could do was hope that they made extra or she let him eat the ones that were messed up. He started drooling at the thought of it. He was going to need a bib for this. He nodded that he would love to help, about to speak when she spoke again. This time the topic was Anezka, seeing as his mind was filled with thoughts of Lilth and candy...for a moment he had this look of 'Anezka who?' Which was quickly replaced with a series of blinks and a goofy grin, he remembered. He nodded his head vigorously. "Yes I'd love to help and I'll do my best to behave. I think Anezka would love some sweets and I'm pretty sure I remember where she lives."

He fell silent his gaze never leaving Lilith. Every suttle move she made, he couldn't help but notice the little bounce in her step. After a few seconds of silence he stepped down to where she was, he enjoyed being near her. As he looked into those eyes of hers he thought back to her statement about being a monster. He was curious but he figured she'd tell him when she wanted to so no pressure. He'd tell her what he was if she asked. The beast within him was the six tailed badger of all things...maybe thats why he had crazy hair and what not. Those attributes made him look scary whenever he became pissed off. Which was of course rare. The only things that set Tadashi into a fit of rage had to do with harming the innocent, weak, and the people he cared about. For instance if someone tried to harm Lilith, they'd see the more blood thirsty of the blue eyed boy.

His thoughts then steered away from monsters back to the kiss. Should he hold her hand? Were they a couple? Could he kiss her cheek or lips without the possibility of being slapped? Could he bring her flowers and there not be awkward silence? Love was such a confusing thing! So many questions and so few answers!! Tadashi's head was going to explode at this rate. His questions from earlier about kissing at midnight and what not flooded back. Should he ask what their status was? Was it to early to determine that? The kiss was passionate, it wasn't just a little peck. Was that the deciding factor the type of kiss? His gaze traveled to her lips momentarily..he started to wonder if his were now black. Not that it mattered but it would be hard to explain since the kiss was a secret. Surelly she'd tell me...right? His gaze meeting hers once more as he waited for her to speak or something.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith noticed the dreamy gaze Tadashi seemed to be getting. He seemed to be day dreaming a lot as he followed her down the stairs. She wondered what was going through his head as he did so. Was he thinking about her? Or simply running on love fumes? Millions of questions continued to float through her head as she watched him fix up himself.

At tonight's festival, should she hold his hand? She would probably do it without thinking just to keep him with her as she went to all the stands. She had already planned to check out the food, every village had their own signature foods and despite how thin she was, food was something she enjoyed. Then after she managed to snack on anything she could afford, she'd look for the little game stands that children crowded around.

Now it wasn't that she was some sicko that wanted to steal children away with the temptation of goldfish, she just liked games and hearing children be amazed and happy. Possibly winning a stand game wouldn't be so bad either. Maybe she could win a toy for Tadashi to be entertained with. Then again, he'd probably have a hard enough time keeping an eye on Lilith as she scurried this way and that like a small child with ADD in a shiney objects store. If he took her eyes off her for a moment, she'd probably be halfway across the village finding something else that was interesting.

Then there was the fireworks. She couldn't help but think it romantic to sit on a rooftop to watch them during a festival. She wondered if Tadashi would stick with her long enough to be able to do that. She wasn't much of a dancer and she couldn't remember when people did that during new years ceremonies except for little kids trying to be cute. She was more of a 'silent don't talk cause you'll ruin the moment type'. Besides, there was something else that she was looking forward to. The spiders had their own way of celebrating.

When he agreed to help her make the treats for everyone she clasped her hands together. Who didn't like a man in an apron? She smiled and chuckled softly.
"Oh that's wonderful! And don't worry, there will be plenty left over for even your appetite. I do wonder if Anezka likes sweets... Let's hope so."
She said with a warm smile as she turned her head up to look at Tadashi again.
"We'd better get started if we want extra time to mess around."
And with that statement she was already trotting off towards the kitchen area, bounding with each bare step as if she were weightless. Her heart was still singing for it's new half to follow. It seemed that her heart knew what it wanted, and that was to be pressed up against Tadashi's chest so that it could hear his heart beating within his ribs. But was it right? Her brain wasn't sure but her heart didn't seem to care. It was being rather selfish.

Little did Lilith know what was going on within Tadashi's head was similar to her own. She would love to accept flowers from someone, she was a hopeless romantic that never seemed to believe in her own love. That would be such a nice gesture, this village already seemed like a dream come true. She'd have to test herself to see if that blizzard hadn't killed her. Then again, if this was how death was supposed to be, then she didn't want to be brought back to life. She loved this feeling, but what did it all mean? Would she really get the chance to be like everyone else?

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi hadn't been to a fair in years. The star village was never known for parties and celebrations, which makes since seeing as for the longest all people did was train, meditate, and die....really really early. So he didn't really know what to expect, the thought of dancing was a memory from his childhood days. Dancing wasn't important, no his mind was stuck on things like fireworks, handholding, that kiss earlier....future kisses, etc. His head was constantly filling with more questions, if it didn't stop soon he felt like his head would explode.

His dreamy gaze never left the beautiful woman infront of him. Little did he know she was debating on alot of the same things. He would of course be playing the different games right alongside Lilith. They'd be like two kids in a candy shop, boucning from stand to stand. He couldn't wait to put on his new kimono and bring in the new year with the breathtakingly beautiful Lilith. He'd decided earlier that he would surprise her with flowers as some point in time. Which only brought more questions as he tried to figure out what kind of flowers she would like.

All thoughts came to a halt when Lilith spoke. After everytime he spoke all the questions flooded back into his head. Lilith's reaction to Tadashi knowing where Anezka lived made him smile. He then told her he'd help, her reply made him all bubbly inside. He was glad she seemed so excited that he wanted to help. His mind then started filling with more questions. What would they do after all the work was done? Depending on when they finished they might have a good bit of time to just relax before the festivities began. Great, juuuuuuuust great...more questions.

His piercing blue eyes followed Lilith as she walked into the kitchen. After a moment he shook his head, it finally occured to him that the required function was to follow her. With that he smiled and headed into the kitchen, recalling Lilith statement about left over sweets for him. This made his smile widen. The boys sweet tooth was insane. Tadashi's brain and heart were singing the same tune and it wasn't thanks to the cookies. Tadashi knew this was right, he wasn't sure how but it felt right....hell it felt amazing. Why give that up? Like he said, even monsters have the right to love and be loved.

Tadashi would do everything in his power to make sure Lilith had an amazing time tonight! But first to cook! He clapped his hands together and smiled, "Right! So where do we start?" He stood there, wild hair and all thinking he was ready to get to cookin. Would this be messy? Did he need a apron? He then started wondering how the hell he knew what a apron was...Tadashi was one of those guys that rarely cooked. He could, but he didn't get to often. He also never worried about things like aprons, gloves, hair nets....like one could actually contain his hair...etc.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith smiled as Tadashi followed her into the kitchen. She was so very glad that he was eager to help. It wasn't very common to see a man help in the kitchen, or even act so very gentleman like after the event that had just occured. She was glad he wasn't being immature about it, or asking for another one. Perhaps he would even help her deliver all the little 'gifts' once they were done. But first they needed to actually make the gifts.

She trotted over to one of the cupboards and opened it up, a few bags of ingredients that had been bought from the market were hidden inside. When had she gone out? Most likely while Tadashi was sleeping. Lilith was an early riser, her back never made it easy for her to sleep so she had gotten used to the lack of energy restoration. She turned to wash her hands in the sink as her black tentacles raised and pulled out the bags and set them on the counter. It didn't take her very long to finish washing her hands and turn to Tadashi so she could speak, her chakra tentacles still busy behind her.
"Ok well first we need to make some sweet paste and dough. All I need you to do is keep stirring the paste so that it doesn't burn. It's going to get harder and harder to do so, and it will probably get very very sticky as well. Do you think you can do that for me?"

Behind her, her tentacles were pulling out different pots and trays that were going to be needed while also organizing the ingredients. There were different dried fruits and jars of what looked like natural honey, sacks of rice and flour, a bag of sweet candy treats, and a few other things. Just the ingredients themselves looked quite dilectable. She was sure that Tadashi's mouth was already watering from just the sight. Perhaps she would mess a few things up just for him. He did love sweets, and she loved to cook and bake. They almost seemed to be meant for one another. And they probably were.

Her tentacles soon began to pick up the pieces of dried fruits and mash them together within a pot. Honey, sugar, water, and a few other things were added into the pot and mashed together by those floating cones of blackened chakra. They set the pot on the stove and turned the heat on, a few of the ingredients beginning to melt and mix with one another. A spoon was stuck into the mix, now all Tadashi had to do was start stirring.

(( I'm just going to assume that he is willing to help her, cause that's how Tadashi is X3

Also, her favorite flower is pretty predictable ;D Spider Lilys))

Lilith walked over to the fridge and opened it, taking out the normal ingredients that anyone would find in a cake. She closed the door and carried them over to a bowl on the counter, beginning to add them as she saw fit. Breaking eggs, adding milk and flour; the basics. Eventually she began adding ingredients that made this dough special compared to others. It was amazing how she didn't seem to measure anything, and everything was being made from scratch. All according to taste. Maybe she would let Tadashi taste test something, it was a sure bet that he was probably hopeing for that. Lilith merely continued to smile and even began to lightly hum as she grabbed a spoon of her own and started to stir the ingrediants in the bowl. This was a nice feeling for her, it was somewhat quiet but also very happy.

Her mind began to wander once again, wondering about tonight's festival. Did he want to hold hands as they walked through the different stands like a couple of school kids? Or would that be too embarassing for him? Then again, perhaps that was too bold a move for now. They had just kissed right? Shouldn't they wait or something? But something about that kiss felt different. It felt like it was meant to be. Her heart was swinging within her chest like a pendlum, an easy feeling going through it as it beat. Maybe she should just ask him what he wanted. Yeah, that was more like her. She wasn't normally such a pussyfoot and beating around the bush. She just didn't want to hurt him or scare him away, and little did she know that he was thinking a lot of the same thoughts. She turned her head to look up at him, her hands still stirring. From this angle, she could see his masculine jawline and profile. He was certainly handsome, with skin as milky as hers. Sure his was a little darker and tattern from fighting and probably sparring, but that just made it all the more attractive to her. His pale blue eyes seemed as if someone had plucked out pieces of the sky and placed them there. All these traits seemed to compliment her own. As if they were Yin and Yang. To one as supersitsious as her, this seemed to be a good omen. Her smile widened a bit, her lips remaining closed as she did so. Now was a good a time as any to bring in some conversation.
"Mizuiro-san, what do you want to do at the festival tonight? Do you want to invite Anezka to come with us if she doesn't have someone to take her?"
Sure it wasn't as straight forward as she intended, but she needed to start somewhere right? Afterall, it was usually the boy that asked if he could do things such as holding hands. Lilith was old fashioned like that.

Tadashi nodded vigorously when Lilith asked him if he could stir the paste. Of course he could, he'd be the best stirrer EVER!! Well, he sure as hell would try to be anyways. He smiled, his mind still flooded with questions. He watched as her tentacles grabbed different ingredients. When he spotted the candies his eyes widened a bit. He caught himself drooling a little bit. After snapping out of it, he went back to trying to figure out what all was going on in Lilith's head. She'd kissed him first, so he hadn't done anything by returning the kiss...right? He wondered if she was surprised that he wasn't asking for more. If the fact that he wasn't, made her think he didn't enjoy the kiss..which is totally wrong. He loved every second of it! But, being a gentlemen he would never do such a thing. He would be polite and respectful at all times.

His gaze settled on the pot, a determined look forming on his face. Tadashi starred down the pot for a few seconds as if he was challenging the paste. For Lilith this had to be highly entertaining, a white haired nut challenging a bowl of paste. With that he grasped the spoon and went to work stirring like crazy. After awhile it thickened, the muscles in his arm flexing a bit as he continued to stir like crazy. The thicker it got the more of a determined expressioin would form on his face. All he was thinking about was that damned paste....his motivation being the final product. His concentration was finally broken by Lilith's humming. After awhile he'd softly hum to himself, a tune that matched hers. He could sing a little but nothing like Lilith. Which is why he hummed ever so softly, so it was barely audible.

His mind started to wander again. He was curious about what kind've flowers Lilith would like. He started listing off the different types in his head. Rose, daisy, tuplips, sun flowers,....tiger lilys...lil- hey..wait a sec! SPIDER LILY!!!!!!!!!!! Surely that has to be it! HAHA!!! He suddenly fist pumped and smiled, his hand that was holding a spoon suddenly punching the air had to be the strangest thing to happen in awhile. He blushed slightly and went back to stirring, hopping Lilith hadn't noticed...like he was that lucky. He would look over at her, admiring everything about her. Her soft pale skin, those amazing eyes of hers, that hair, her figure...all of it. She had to be the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid his eyes on. But what was even better was what was underneath. Not many people got Tadashi, but she did. She was beautiful inside and out and she'd stolen his heart.

When she suddenly asked him what he wanted to do at the festival the stirring suddenly came to a halt. He blinked several times. The second question distracted him enough that he calmed down. He continued to stir but looked away from the bowl, his gaze meeting Lilith's. He smiled, "Well...I'd like to try the different foods and play all the different games with you. I was thinking I could fly us up the the top of one of the taller buildings, a tree, hokage mountain...somewhere to have the best view of the fireworks. I love watching the fireworks! I'm pretty sure Anezka will be looking for Neji. That or she'll be spending her time drinking lots of saki." He paused for a moment, "I'd...like to ask you for permission to um...hold your hand tonight? If you don't want to that's fine." He spoke softly, smiling kindly..."What would you like to do at the festival?"

Poor Tadashi didn't know what to do with himself. He was never like this, but with Lilith. He didn't want to risk rushing things, being to clingy, or pushing her away. Which is why he decided to tread softly and carry flowers (XP). He waited silently for her reply, holding his breath a bit. Here was a guy who would and could take on pretty much anyone without hesitation, fearing nothing...but was about to have a heartattack waiting for a answer from this wonderful women infront of him. He'd forgotten the paste, his eyes widened when he remember that he needed to keep stirring. Sooooo, he vigorously went back to stirring. His eyes never looked away from Lilith. He was done challenging the paste, he'd defeated it but he wasn't going to stop till she said so.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith chuckled softly as she watched Tadashi. He was getting so determined over a simple task of stirring. Well at least the ingredients would be mixed rather nicely. She was so very glad that she had help.

She was busy mixing her own group of ingredients in a bowl beside Tadashi. She was making dough for the moon cakes, so her stirring was different. After a while of her own stirring she was able to put the dough on the counter, it was clean and covered in flour of course. Now she was able to knead the dough with her hands, it was almost time to add her special ingredient. She continued to hum as she mixed, her sensitive ears picking up Tadashi's own addition to this. She thought it was sweet, and despite what he might of thought of his own voice, Lilith seemed to enjoy what little she could hear of his.

It wasn't very long after that, that she noticed him fist thrusting the air out of the corner of her eye. She chuckled slightly, amused at this action. She turned her head to look up at him with that ever warm smile.
"You seem to really be getting into your work. You must be the best stirrer ever."

She listened as he both answered her previous questions, and gave his own wishes as well. It made that fluttery feeling return to her chest. His answer, was exactly the same as hers. She had wanted to try all the different foods that Konoha had to offer, as well as the games. Especially the goldfish catching games. Maybe she could get some for the pond that was in the back of there new home. It'd be lovely to see them grow up and become so very beautiful. Perhaps Tadashi would catch one for her. She thought that would be a nice present. She smiled as he asked if he could hold her hand, she couldn't help but think that was very polite and adorable. That was something she liked about Tadashi. He was always so considerate.

She was quite for a few moments before she smiled at Tadashi once again, her answers full and ready.
"Tadashi... I think it's awefully cute that you asked permission.. Most people these days will just grab what isn't theirs. I think that's a fine idea. I would love to hold your hand."
She chuckled rather softly after this, bringing her milky fingers to her lips.
"It seems that we have the same answer for that.. This is my first time in Konoha so I'd love to see how they celebrate.. As for where we should see the fireworks.. I was thinking that we could just sit on our rooftop. It's far away and secluded, and afterwards we'd be able to watch the stars without being bothered. I bet you know all their names since you're from the star village, right?"
She flashed another warm smile to him as she set the wad of dough on the counter. Sure their house was tall, but it wasn't as tall as the Hokage Tower or the Mountain. But Lilith figured that romantic idea was thought of by other people, at their own home they could be all alone, unbothered by anyone. And what was more romantic than being with each other under the starlight? No one could get mad at them or tell them to go home, because they would already be there!

Lilith walked over to the bags of ingredients and began searching through them. There was something extra that she needed to add. She pulled out a single plump lemon and walked back over to the dough. She held up a finger from her free hand and put it to Tadashi's lips, as if to silence the questions before they started. She hushed him, her lips hissing out the familar 'shh' noise.
"This is my own special secret ingredient, so don't tell anyone. Got it? Who would expect such a sour taste would make sweet things better?"
She chuckled a bit and set the lemon on the counter beside the dough. It was less than a second later that there was a swift flash of black chakra and the lemon was sliced in half. That was just a taste of how fast she could use her kekkei genkai. Just imagine that in battle, if she were actually trying to strike someone. It wasn't something people usually liked to mess with. Her fingers grabbed one of the slices, not a single drop of juice had been wasted from the speed of the cut, and began to rub it on the outside of the dough. After it had been covered, she kneaded the dough once more and rubbed the lemon on again. This was making the dough absorb the juice without loosing it's consistancy. She only used one half of the lemon though, the other was for something else.

One of her free tentacles lifted up the spare slice and squeased it into the pot Tadashi was mixing. Eventually, this would make the paste soften, making it easier to stir. It felt so nice to cook with someone, especially Tadashi. Many wonderous thoughts were flowing through her mind. Tonight was surely going to be wonderful.

...Hurry now, it's time to die.
(( It's too bad there's not Naruto in this RP. Poor little Hinata's going to get stood up. ))
(( A Repost for Lee, I think he might of missed it. ))

Hinata smiled softly, slightly reassured that he was well enough to be walking around. It would never cross her mind to think of someone as annoying. Just take a look at the boy she had been crushing over since they were young. He was known for his annoyance. Well, to everyone except Hinata that is. When he offered her some Dango she lightly put up her hand and shook her head gracefully from side to side. Her soft voice escaping from her lips once again.
"Oh, no thank you. I just had my breakfast, and I was thinking about visiting that new friend I was telling you about. She likes to cook, so if she's settled in she's probably going to try and get me to accept all sorts of treats."
She let out a soft giggle, not so very typical of her. (Today was a special day after all.) She knew that Lilith was a very generous person, she had made the very kimono that Hinata was wearing now. What she didn't know was that she was sharing a home with Tadashi, most would see that as... odd. A girl and a boy together beneath one roof with no intention of becoming man and wife. Then again, perhaps that's just what was going through their lust filled minds at the moment. The Hyuuga girl didn't know.

"I'm looking for Toshikoshi Soba Noodles. I thought it might be nice shareing some with Naruto-kun after the festival today..."
A soft pink came to her cheeks from both Lee's compliment and the reminder that she actually had a date with Naruto for the festival. It was completely obvious to everyone that she had been infatuated with him for awhile. So hearing this would be a pleasant suprise for everyone. Who knew if Lee had noticed it too. He wasn't that dense, right? She seemed to break out of her minor dreamy phase and regain her attention.
"Maybe today you should just relax instead of training? It is the start of the new year, some might think it Taboo to train and skip such an occasion."
She returned Lee's warm smile, taking the other compliment as politely as the first.
"Why thank you.."
Lee just seemed to be full of compliments lately. She would need to say something nice about him. Not too hard, right?
"You are sounding very relaxed and joyous today, perfect considering the occasion."
