[[Sorry busy as hell.
Exams all week, a presentation due in the morning, and I have several meetings this afternoon and tomorrow.

I know I need to post but sadly it will have to wait till Friday or something. I'm going nuts!
Anyways just wanted to let you all know that I haven't left. Just drowning in work is all @~@

@Yasha
That crazy a** list of work I had to do this week....it got longer X___________X]]
(( I know what you mean Plundy D; I had to make like 10 orders yesterday and bake them, then today they didn't even show up so I have to look for them now to sell it to them. On the plus side this chunky girl is buying 15 dollars worth of charms since they're cakes and candies and doughnuts and stuff. I also had to do an outline and an opening paragraph for an analytical essay, MAN! Just when I become literate we have no use to make stories. Why can't english actually be about the proper way to speak and write english instead of writing about it? Meh!

But on the plus side I got commissioned to make the logo for T.E.D.A. I'm only getting 25 dollars but still, my logo will be on pamphlets and bags and all this stuff for the entire program.

Today I have to write the two body paragraphs. Two pages of the tone of the passage and why it's that tone and why the imagery is important. And my teacher doesn't like the way I word things. I have everything I need to pass but she doesn't want me to use "a tone of sympathy" no she wants "a sympathetic tone" and blah blah blah D< Grr! I'm just procrastinating now...))

After wandering along the road, following every turn it took, he found himself at the market. Deciding that markets were indeed a good things to attend now that is was New year, he walked around, looking at the many things one could buy. Despite the fact that the market was there everyday he rarely ever went, because he was busy training and such. With a smile on his face he trotted down the path, even buying himself some dango. He soon came to notice a familiar head of hair, one that could only belong to the Hyuuga heiress with the colour and style, one which was rare, not only in the clan itself, but in Konoha as well.

Smile widening, Lee went over with his usual enthusiasm, although a little less loud because of his poor ears. “Hinata-Sama! Good morning to you, did you have a good birthday?” He asked, eyes curving into upturned U's as he made a deep polite bow. He had missed talking to people the days he had been to the hospital, he even missed his usual loudness which he had had to abandon after experiencing first hand that it hurt to greet your doctor in a loud fashion.

Hinata gracefully turned her head to the somewhat familar voice. After all, Lee mostly trained or went on missions, and if he did have a squad it was more then likely with her cousin not her. Also, he didn't seem to have his usual amount of volume and enthusiasm today. The young heiress couldn't help but wonder why. As her signature pale eyes laid themselves on the normally green clad ninja, her soft lips curled to form her usual gentle smile."Oh, Good Morning Lee-san. I hope you're doing well today."
Her voice was as soft and polite as ever, yet today it seemed to have a slightly... youthful tone as well. Neji hadn't informed Hinata of the events that had happened the day of her birthday, as far as she knew he had been home all day. She didn't know that Lee was in the hospital, then again, if she had known she probably would of felt bad celebrating anything when one of her friends was ill. (Most likely why Neji didn't inform her)
"My birthday? It was very nice.. Nii-san let Lilith and Naruto-kun visit too. Father was very impressed. Thank you for asking, and how have you been Lee-san?"
Hinata was glad to have met Lee this morning. Yes she was looking for something, but she was certainly not in a hurry. It felt nice to chat with friends, last time she spoke with this particular one she was interrupted by her cousin. (Not that she minded.) The girl's simple little mind couldn't help but wonder what her fellow shinobi was doing in the market today. Of course it wasn't any of her business, but she had become quite curious since her return from her last mission. For some reason, she felt like she had to explore, while mantaining her timidness. Maybe, it was because Kiba and Shino weren't around. Without her old teamates, the bold Kiba and his dog especially, perhaps the dainty girl felt like she should make up their lost time. Where had her teamates ended up anyway?

Lee nodded and smiled widely at her. “Of course I am, in such a youthful place how could one not be both faring and feeling well?” He said, making a gesture out in the air, towards the rest of Konoha. He had no idea about the battle that had taken place, as he had not talked to anyone for the past few days except for the doctors who were very eager to sign him out of the hospital when he was healthy enough, such devotion they showed to their job!

“What a great thing, and a sweet display of youthfulness, from both the side of Hiashi-Sama and your most noble friends.” It was indeed considerate of Hinata-Sama's father to let other people that he did not know direct into his home, and especially for Hinata-Sama's birthday. Lee was certain that he was becoming more youthful! He had even begun not glaring madly at him, and instead shake his head. Perhaps this was the start of a beautiful friendship between him and Neji-San's most noble uncle? Unwrapping from his delusional fantasy, he smiled at Hinata-Sama again. “Why I have been in the hospital. I got injured in a spar against Anezka-San. Got a concussion, some inner ear bleeding and I pressed two of my ribs.”

While the tale in itself sounded pretty serious, he wore a broad grin, both hands gathered behind his back, Dango bag still in hand. “I woke up yesterday, was told I was ill by the doctors and had to stay for an extra day. I almost never get sick though, what a good thing I was sparring, or else I would not have found out!” Taking the knock out as a good thing was an acceptable way for Lee to deal with his short-term illness to himself, it had after all not been very serious.

Hinata smiled softly as she listened to Lee's usual lament on youthfulness.
"I'm glad to see you in such high spirits. It wouldn't be a festival if people were gloomy today."
The pale Hyuuga heiress was certainly glad that her cousin's most energetic friend, aside from Naruto, was feeling well and most likely able to attend the festivities that would be coming later that night. But where were her cousin and Naruto, whom had invited her to go with him, now? Normally she would of had breakfast with her cousin, but this morning he had already been gone by the time she had awoken. It wasn't like him to do such things. Perhaps he had a good reason to do so. Afterall, Hinata had no way of knowing his business unless she asked or followed him, and he was always able to catch her. It was to be expected from the prodigy of their clan. Hinata was in as in the dark as Lee was about the fight that had occured over the past few days. She hadn't heard anything from Neji, nor had the Hokage announced a state of emergancy. In fact, seeing as how the festival was still going on things must of been deemed safe.

Hinata happily continued to listen to Lee speak of her father and friends. She herself had been suprised at how well everyone had gotten along. Even more suprised that Neji had allowed them in at all. He would of never allowed anything harmful into the mansion, he must of really wanted her birthday to be special. The sweet strawberry desserts that Lilith made weren't bad either, the branch members certainly were eager to ask for seconds. It wasn't until Lee mentioned that he had been hospitalized, that the young heiress felt a bit of guilt for not knowing.

She should of asked her cousin what happened to Lee, he had been speaking with her that morning and then joined him, but at night he was gone. Unfortunatly she had been so preoccupied with the celebration, it hadn't crossed her mind to ask about him. It certainly had been a selfish act. A very small gasp escaped her lips when heard of his injuries, they certainly sounded painful. But the Shinobi that stood before her was the one they said would never be able to fight again, the one that was never supposed to be a ninja, the one whose arm and leg had been crushed and then repaired, it shouldn't be suprising that he'd speak so lightly of minor injuries. Even if half his brain were to be crushed, he would still try to train. There wasn't anything in this world or the next that could keep this Shinobi down for long. The timid girl's face softened as she heard that he had been released and not escaped like a certain other friend of hers. At least he was ok now.
"Oh my, are you sure you're ok Lee-san? Perhaps you should still take it easy..."
It certainly was like Hinata to worry about others. Even if she knew that they'd probably say they were fine and continue on their way.
"Are you positive that you aren't in any pain?.."
At that, she began to wonder about Lilith. Had she gotten settled in yet? Was she still in the village at all? And what had she meant by... herbal remedies?

Lee grinned widely, swaying a bit on the spot on his heels. “How very considerate of you to ask me if I am all right Hinata-Sama, but I am perfectly fine I assure you. The doctors told me I made a very good recovery, but that I should avoid loud noises for a while. How very eager they were to send me on my way out of the hospital when I had become well again. Most considerate of them to make sure I could return to my duties as a ninja!” It did not at all occur to him that the doctors had thrown him out because he had annoyed them too much.

“Oh I am not in any pain, again you are being so sweet and considerate.” He smiled warmly at her, unfolding his hands from behind his back, grabbing himself another stick of dango. “Would you like some Dango Hinata-Sama? They are very good, that they are.” He offered the bag to her. “I originally set out to train, but now I realize how good it was for me to stop at the market. I just remembered that I am short of rise cakes. I did not have the time to prepare them yesterday, being in the hospital and such, so this year I will have to buy them.” He wore a warm grin, unlike the overly happy one he usually wore. He himself had not noticed the resent change that he had undergone to become more down to earth. He did notice that Hinata-Sama did not stutter today though. “May I say you are sounding very happy and free of stutters today, I am very happy for you.”

Hinata smiled softly, slightly reassured that he was well enough to be walking around. It would never cross her mind to think of someone as annoying. Just take a look at the boy she had been crushing over since they were young. He was known for his annoyance. Well, to everyone except Hinata that is. When he offered her some Dango she lightly put up her hand and shook her head gracefully from side to side. Her soft voice escaping from her lips once again.
"Oh, no thank you. I just had my breakfast, and I was thinking about visiting that new friend I was telling you about. She likes to cook, so if she's settled in she's probably going to try and get me to accept all sorts of treats."
She let out a soft giggle, not so very typical of her. (Today was a special day after all.) She knew that Lilith was a very generous person, she had made the very kimono that Hinata was wearing now. What she didn't know was that she was sharing a home with Tadashi, most would see that as... odd. A girl and a boy together beneath one roof with no intention of becoming man and wife. Then again, perhaps that's just what was going through their lust filled minds at the moment. The Hyuuga girl didn't know.

"I'm looking for Toshikoshi Soba Noodles. I thought it might be nice shareing some with Naruto-kun after the festival today..."
A soft pink came to her cheeks from both Lee's compliment and the reminder that she actually had a date with Naruto for the festival. It was completely obvious to everyone that she had been infatuated with him for awhile. So hearing this would be a pleasant suprise for everyone. Who knew if Lee had noticed it too. He wasn't that dense, right? She seemed to break out of her minor dreamy phase and regain her attention.
"Maybe today you should just relax instead of training? It is the start of the new year, some might think it Taboo to train and skip such an occasion."
She returned Lee's warm smile, taking the other compliment as politely as the first.
"Why thank you.."
Lee just seemed to be full of compliments lately. She would need to say something nice about him. Not too hard, right?
"You are sounding very relaxed and joyous today, perfect considering the occasion."

.: Tadashi Hoshikaru :.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi blinked several times, confused by her reaction to his statement. Truth be told, he wasn't sure what her reaction would be but if he had to guess it sure wouldn't have been this. His surprise showed ever so slightly on his face, fading away as she ran one of her soft warm hands down the side of his face. He'd close his eyes for a moment, her skin was so soft. He couldn't help but smile and blush ever so slightly. His smile turning to a partial frown when she removed her hand. He watched as she put the jar away.

He wanted to say something, but he was in a scramble trying to gather his thoughts. At the moment he was literally speechless. He was in deep concentration trying to make sense of everything that had just occured when Lilith suddenly showed him his gift. Tadashi would immediately snap out of it and blink multiple times before his eyes would widen as he looked down at the kimono. The frown quickly turning into a grin once more.

He'd gently hold it in his hands, removing the little wrapping (ribbon....x.X can't remember how it was wrapped. Just a ribbon,..right? Blah, XD if it was just folded ignore that part). He unfolded the kimono, his eyes widening even more, "It's absolutely amazing! It's beautiful," he smiled as his gaze traveled from the kimono, "almost as beautiful as the woman who gave it to me." He slowly tore his gaze away from her to look back as the amazing creation.

"The detail! I can't wait to wear it on our da-..." he paused for a moment, "...date." He looked at Lilith, drapping the Kimono over his arm to keep it from touching the ground. He would gently grasp Lilith's warm soft hands in his own. His were a bit rough from wear and tear but nothing extreme. "I absolutely love it." He paused for a moment, "Lilith, I think you were wrong earlier." The kind sweet Tadashi looked down for a moment before looking up at her with those piercing blue eyes of his. "I think...no I know, that my feelings are for you and no one else."

He spoke in a very calm tone, mind his heart was racing a bit. Tadashi had spent most of his life training, soooooo love wasn't something he'd experience before. Which is why he kept pausing, he kept going over what he was about to say before he said it. He didn't want to say the wrong thing. He didn't want to scare her off or make her uncomfortable. He knew it had to be Lilith. The only other women he knew were Hinata, Anezka, and the hokage. No waaaaaaay could it be the hokage, Anezka was just a friend...a devious friend who talked him into trying saki, and he barely knew Hinata. But Lilith was another story. She was different, enchanting, amazing, wonderful, and many many other things.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith smiled softly, feeling the warmth run into Tadashi's face as her hand glided across its side. It was cute to Lilith. She felt like she had caught him with his hand in the cookie jar. Which was partly literal. But something told her that this wasn't normal. People do not act like this on a daily basis...do they?

After her hand was removed and her jar put away, she expected everything to go back to normal. But the silence in the air was less than normal. Tadashi was never this serious and quiet. He always had that curious air about him and would constantly be looking for something new to explore. She could almost feel those piercing blue eyes of his drilling themselves into the back of her skull. Almost like she had done something wrong. She hadn't, had she?

The gift was given, and things were just as they should be. A wave of comfort washed over the raven haired girl from seeing the look of joy and twinkling within his eyes. Then came the usual barrage of compliments. It was times like this that make Lilith feel particularly spoiled. But honestly, how does one ask to not be complimented? That in itself sounded rude. Somewhere within herself she enjoyed this, making her feel rather vain. She cooked for him and gave him a home, this could be considered payment, yes? She placed her hands together and rested them on the short hem of her kimono top, feeling a little bashful about her work. The spiders were the real masters of the threads, she was merely their artistic instructor.
"I'm sure they would be happy to hear that. Especially the widows~." (Ha! Spider humor XD)
The majority of spider species were solitary cannibals, there was maybe one or two species that living in colonies, and they were relatively small. If Lilith were to try to make a kimono herself it would probably fall apart in a matter of moments, something she would feel terrible about. It wasn't until she heard the word 'date' that her heart skipped a few beats.

It hadn't occured to her that that's what it was until now. Sure she had joked about it to herself, but now was when the true feeling of it set in. Now there was a sudden feeling of breathlessness, a tugging at her heart. Her face got a look of innocence and wonder, like a stray puppy that had just been found. She would of probably gasped, seeing as her lungs had forgotten how to breathe, if his hands hadn't handled her own so cautiously. They were a little tatterned, but that was something Lilith liked. They were the hands of a hard worker, a protector and provider, the hands of dedication. Her own hands were smooth and soft, not because she never worked, but because they were mostly scars. Along with her own herbal remedies, and noble blood, her hands did not appear to be blighted with swirling disfigured skin. They were small compared to his, making her seem more dainty than she really was. There was another compliment that flowed from his lips, then a moment of silence that seemed to last forever. It wasn't the words that brought down the invisible barrier that made Lilith seem less womanly, but the silence and gaze into those sky blue eyes of his. It brought a slight pink to even her cheeks, something that rarely happened. Then without warning, she was suddenly wrong about something. She didn't like to be wrong, but before she could be brought back down to earth Tadashi shattered something within her very soul with his words. Suddenly she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her own strawberry red orbs seemed to reflect the sparkle in Tadashi's eyes as her lips moved themselves.
"What...did you say?.."
Her voice seemed to drift off, rather dream like. While Tadashi's heart was racing and bouncing around in his ribcage, Lilith's felt like it had stopped. This wasn't real. It was a Gen Jutsu, it had to be! She almost felt like pulling her hands away and trying to release herself, but her body wouldn't allow that. It was if her very heart was cussing her out and telling her not to ruin this. Not to cause more pain to it, not to make it overflow with undieing loneliness. Her fingers trembled a bit as she tried to break her gaze away, she could feel warmth rushing through her body and she wanted to hide it. But even she knew that if she did that, she would loose this feeling.

Up till now her hands had felt a little limp. Her fingers suddenly began to move and make her hands clasp around his. Her eyes softened as her forehead fell into his chest. No she hadn't fainted, she just didn't want to look. She didn't want to hurt someone who had just admitted to have feelings for her. Very quietly, her voice began to pour from her lips, she didn't want to bring harm to anyone and she knew that he was being completely honest.
"Tadashi... I cannot deny that you are a good and honest man.. And I also cannot deny the fact that heart does beat for you.. But you must also know that your feelings are lost. I am a monster not meant to be loved, not stable enough to fixate on one definate place.. I cannot ask so much of you, I cannot ask to be followed to the ends of the earth and back, I cannot bare to cause you pain... Please reconsider your feelings... you havn't seen the beast I truely am and I do not wish to drag you into the gruesome horrors I bring with me.."
Her hands started to tremble even more, as if she were inflicting pain unto herself. She didn't want to do this. Honestly, she would of loved to wrap her arms around him and accept his feelings open heartedly. Unfortunatly, she only brought torment to her loved ones no matter how hard she tried. Tadashi was too good for that type of life, he deserved better than the creature before him. At least, that's how Lilith saw it.

.: Tadashi Hoshikaru :.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill

Tadashi smiled when Lilith said the widows would like it. He'd been around them long enough so he understood, where as alot of people would be clueless. He chuckled a bit but said nothing. Instead he went on with spilling his guts to Lilith, praying the entire time that she would scream and run off or something. Seeing as all this was knew to him, he wasn't sure how she'd react. Especially after her reaction to the cookie being sweet. Tadashi really didn't know what the hell to expect, poor guy was in the dark about it.

Her reaction made his heart skip a beat. She hadn't runoff, slapped him, screamed, or anything crazy. She'd just asked a question. Though the look on her face showed her surprise. He blinked a few times and for a second he considered repeating it. But decided he had no desire to look like a dumby as that exact moment so he stayed quiet. Before he could reconsider his decision not to speak, Lilith's hands started shaking. Her soft hands that were smaller than his would move around to clasp his rather rough hands.

Next thing he knew her head was on his chest. He blinked a few times and looked down at her head when she started speaking. He was a bit confused and as he listened the confusion only grew. But the look of confusion quickly faded and replaced by a comforting smile and twinkle in his eyes. He waited for her to finish before he spoke. Making sure to gather his thoughts so they actually made sense when he spoke. His lips would part slowly, as he leaned his head down and stretched his neck to gently kiss the top of her head.

"Lilith," he spoke in calm, comforting, warm tone. "How can my feelings be lost when I just found the reason for my feelings, feelings that I've never experienced before and I don't want them to end." His right hand would wiggle free of her grasp. He straightened up a bit before his hand would gently cup her chin and lift her head so she would look at him. His piercing blue eyes were filled with kindness, firey passion, and a few other things as he stared into her beautiful eyes.

"Everyone is meant to be loved, and I don't care if you say you are a monster. Makes no difference to me. I have a monster in me, which is why I have that seal on my stomach. As for traveling," he smiled, "I'd follow you to the ends of the earth whether or not you asked me. I like traveling and adventure. I live with you and your wonderful little friends." He paused, "My home is where you are and no matter what you say I won't reconsider my feelings."

He nodded his head in agreement with himself, a very determined look on that kind face of his. "No matter the grusome ordeals, dangerous situations, injuries, I'll always be by your side. No matter what happens." He leaned in ever so slightly, "What do you say? Two monsters taking on the world against all odds. I think we have a damn good chance of making it. I speak from the heart and my heart only races and aches for you."

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith continued to let her fingers tremble against Tadashi's hands. Her hair had slid forward to cover the sides of her face, seeing as how her forehead was against his chest. The silence was burning her, causing pressure to build up in her chest. Then, with a touch of his lips, the pressure was gone. Her unseen eyes widened a bit from the kiss to her head, it suprised her a little. Then she just began to listen as he spoke to her with that calming tone. She couldn't help but think that he didn't understand. He hadn't seen what she could do when she really wished to kill. Oh how she wished she could believe him..

She suddenly felt Tadashi's hand move, and scoop up her chin so she could gaze up into those sky-colored eyes of his. It reminded her of eating peppermint, it was sweet but also filled one's mouth with a cold feeling. Her strawberry orbs glistened a bit, as if she had wanted to cry but let the feeling pass. His chilled gaze was comforting to her hot face. With the blushing and feelings that were set to burst, her face had begun to heat up, blood rushing to it. Being like this made her lungs want to stop working again. And the more he spoke the more breathless she became. Her head began to lift on its own. He had a monster inside him? Was he a Jinchuuriki? He had to be, he fit the description that Lilith had read up about. Perhaps he had the twin tailed cat within him, then again, he didn't have any of Nekomata's markings. No matter which beast his body contained, Lilith still wouldn't mind. Tadashi's words couldn't be anymore alluring and romantic if he added something about spiders within it. The Onyx haired girl could certainly feel her heart melting and racing within her chest.

If she could describe her feelings, it would most likely be with spiders. She felt like a spider sitting in it's web, feared by all insects, bugs, and even males of her own species. But just like all creatures of the animal kingdom, spiders must mate. The tiny male would strum at the threads of the female's web and slowly make it's way to the center. Other spiders dance and hold up each others front legs to gaze into the faces of their mate. This was to make sure they were looking at the opposite gender, but it was still rather cute. Even if the knowledge that one mistake could end the life of the male before it began, would not stop them. They even sacrificed their bodies to the female afterwards, to feed their unborn offspring. Some of the most menacing beasts of this world, could be tender. So why couldn't they?

Lilith's hands stopped trembling, and her ruby eyes merely locked in place with his. One could say that she was melting like butter. This was crazy. She wasn't meant to love yet here Tadashi had just made things seem so clear. Even if he hadn't even mentioned spiders, his words had touched her and painted such a vivid scene in her mind. Her expression softened and that familar warm smile of hers returned to her pale porcelain face. She waited for him to finish before moving her free milky hand to the side of his face. She gazed into his eyes with a loving expression, softly touching his cheek and cloudy hair.
"What do I say...? I'll let you decide.."
She firmly rested her hand beneath his ear so that her fingers would wrap around the side of his neck. She took a step closer to him and even raised her heels a bit, locking her lips with his in quite a passionately spontanious kiss.
