User Image "I won't run away anymore!" User Image

Hinata was calmly walking through the crowded streets of the Konoha market, it seemed that people still needed those last minutes of shopping. Occasionally bumping into a few people and apologizing not a moment later, she somehow found her way towards the outer parts of the marketplace without tearing her kimono or snagging her hair on a passing cart. She looked down at her sandals and hem of her furisode, sighing with relief that it hadn't gotten dirty from the small scuffles of her 'escape'.

The pale Heiress' relief didn't last for long. As soon as she thought it was safe, the ever excitable knucklehead --that she just so happened to be head over heels for-- was heading straight for her. She just needed to stay calm, yes that was it, calm. Calm. Calm. Calm. There was no need to faint, no need to blush, he had just popped out of nowhere and was most likely just in the same place by coincidence. She may of actually done it too, if a handful of what were --to the bashful Hyuuga-- some of the most beautiful flowers she'd ever seen. They may of just been weeds or someone's prized flowers that they worked so hard to raise from nothing but seeds, but seeing as how her childhood crush was giving them to her, that just made them all the more special. Her eyes almost seemed to glisten as she stared down silently into the petals and leaves, their scent still very fresh. They must of just been picked. But did Hinata care? No, not one bit. It was the boy holding them that was currently racing through her mind.
"Naruto-kun.... got me flowers.."
The porcelain girl's pearly fingers wrapped around the base of the flowers, her eyes a little nervous to drift upward at the very man that had offered them to her in the first place. Her cheeks began to heat up as she heard the blonde's voice, her head feeling quite light. Shyly, she stuck her face into the bouquet of flowers to try and distract herself. A few inaudable mumbles came from her hidden pair of lips as she spoke. It probably sounded like something along the lines of 'these flowers smell really nice~!'. But as to what she really said, was still very much a mystery.

Hinata's hand made, or rather spider made, silk kimono was made of a fine shimmering ocean blue, lined with navy trim and designs. Her long navy blue locks had been half pulled up with a butterfly clip and finely combed. Around her neck was the very same 'yin-yang' pendant that Naruto had given to her at christmas time. She seemed to not have taken it off since the day she opened the tiny giftwrapped box, much to Hiashi and Neji's annoyance. Though it was a tiny trinket that Naruto had probably been attracted to from its shineyness, Hinata had grown very much attached to it.

Hinata's rosey face softly looked up at her golden headed escort, trying so very hard to not faint like she had done so many times. That usually resulted in Naruto carrying her home or her awakening to Naruto being scolded by one of her dear friends. Her faint irises seemed to sparkle against the whites of her eyes as she looked to the highly energetic ninja, at a slight loss of what to say. Before she knew it, her foolish little lips had begun to move on their own.
"It was a very nice morning today... wasn't it?.."
Her voice was meek, and soft, but at least time it was able to be heard. The Hyuuga herself almost couldn't hear herself over the rapid pounding within her chest. She truely was nervous and needed to desperately relax.

Naruto blinked when Hinata didn't reply. In fact she was completely silent, and stared ahead with blank eyes. The blond ball of energy waved a hand in front of her head, but wasn't rewarded with a response of any kind. Oh no .. She wasn't gonna faint like she usually did right? He had proven terrible at catching her in the past, so she would end up with a bump on her head if she did.

When Hinata finally spoke though, she didn't answer his question, and Naruto blinked with a confused expression on his face. ”Uh .. Yeah? You're .. Whatcha doing here?” Today Naruto was wearing black standard issue ninja cargo pants with the signature bandage around his thigh, with a pouch for weapons. He was also wearing a black T-shirt with elbow length sleeves and a bright orange Konoha symbol on the back and chest. Instead of his Hitai-Ate, he was wearing his old goggles, and of course the blue necklace Tsunade-Baachan gave him was there as well. All of this looked well worn, and a little too short.

Naruto scratched the back of his head, rubbing a little dirt from the flowers into his hair in the process. ”I'm sorry 'bout not getting you some great flowers, I didn't think I'd find you, because you were gone when I came to visit-ttebayo. You're dad looked like he would kill me .. I'll get you some nicer ones later if you'd like.” He offered Hinata a price winning smile.

After a few more moments of tension the Hyuuga girl seemed to think it was safe and picked up her lightly pink tinged face from the rather earthy group of flowers. With the rest of her pale skin, the faint blush was probably a nice touch as if she had lightly brushed on a bit of make-up. Her pair of lilac eyes glided upwards towards the blonde's confused face as he asked her yet another question. Although, she didn't really know the answer to that herself.
"W-well... I'm not entirely sure of that myself. I came here to look for something but I got a little distracted and couldn't remember what it was.. It's rather silly isn't it?"
She spoke meekly with a milky smile that matched her wind chime like voice. She was probably pretty embarassed about the situation, but at least she had a good sense of humor to not let herself get down about it. It wasn't important, at least she hoped it hadn't been. The Hyuuga heiress was trying oh so hard to not just collapse on the spot, she was determined to be as bold and fearless as Naruto was. Things like that didn't happen right away, but at least she was able to talk to him now. That was quite an improvement to her.

As Naruto continued to speak though, Hintata felt the natural urge to be a little bolder. Along with her usual kindness, this urge seemed to make her mouth move on it's own.
"N-no.. It's alright... I.. I really like them."
The snowy skinned girl softly smiled as her pupiless orbs gazed back down into the simple dirt stained flowers. Sure they weren't fancy or expensive, or as colorful as ones bought in the store, but they certainly had something those tempting window sitters didn't have. They had been hand picked for her by Naruto, just the fact he had thought about her made them more special. Store bought flowers could have the same effect if purchased with good intentions, but Hinata would of been just as happy with a handful of weeds. She wasn't a picky person.

Hinata looked a bit suprised when Naruto mentioned that he had gone to visit her. She had been home all morning and in the few minutes that she had gone out into the village marketplace to look for noodles, she had missed Naruto's visit. What were the chances of that? It was normal for her father to have a permanent grimance on his face, but it was also odd that he would simply ask Naruto to get off the grounds. That had seemed to have become Neji's job. At least Naruto had come back in one piece and didn't have much trouble, it would be very disheartening if something were to cause Hinata to be alone during the festival. Perhaps the thought of such an occurance was what kept Naruto alive.
"I do apologize for my Father though... He's just pretty protective of our clan.."
She gently bowed her head a bit and looked up once more from her flowers to Naruto's face, a small smile playing at her lips. She was doing so well! How could she not be a little proud of herself? She hadn't fainted yet and the akwardness had somewhat started to lift. If the rest of the afternoon and night could be like this, that would be enough to keep her spirits high for weeks. After tonight though, it was a wonder if Hinata would simply go back to stalking Naruto or would he be waiting at the front gates every morning? That might be an impossiblity for the ninja whom was known to sleep in, but popping up somewhere that Hinata happened to be would certainly be... interesting.

Tadashi smiled when she rubbed her thumb against his hand, her soft skin felt good against his rough hands. He loved that their hands fit together so perfectly, he gently squeezed her hands as he ran his own rough thumb against her hand. Every second with her made him more and more thankful for well...everything. He felt lighter than air at the moment, relieved that telling her how he felt had gone over so well. Tadashi had never expressed such emotions before so needless to say he had been sweating bullets and unsure of what to expect would happen after telling her. It was a leap of faith type thing and right now, he couldn't be happier that he'd done so.

He nodded and smiled, he was glad that they liked him. He was always careful when he walked through the house and what not. "I'm glad they do, I love them. It's so interesting watching them work and talk to you. Least....I think that's what they're doing. Either way it's all very extraordinary!" He nodded his head vigorously while agreeing with himself. He then watched as Lilith grabbed the other bag of sweets and one of her tentacles grabbed the warm basket. His gaze then went back to Lilith's sparkling eyes. He pretty much forgot everything when he looked into her eyes. She could pretty much tell him to do anything right about now, he was putty in her hands. Those eyes of hers took his breath away, almost as much as seeing her in her new kimono did.

When she spoke he just nodded his head before blinking a few times...realizing that she'd actually made a request. Once he snapped out of his mesmerized state he smiled, "Yes I did, that sounds like a great idea." He then fell silent, attempting to recall where Anezka lived. He was a little scatter brained at the moment, his thought interrupted by Lilith when she started tugging on his arm. He blinked and chuckled, she was so eager to get going. It was cute and very amusing. He stayed quiet as she gave the spiders their orders. He looked up at the ceiling, nodding to the spiders. "I promise to keep her safe and behave like a perfect gentleman." He then looked back at Lilith, "Let the fun begin!!" He then opened the front door, holding it open for her, "Ladies first," he smiled.

Naruto shrugged, not taking the Hyuuga Clan Leaders behaviour to heart at all, though he feared him a little, just like Sakura. ”Must've been because I yelled a little.” Little would be an understatement, since the entire clan must've heard him. His grin didn't deteriorate the least, and he gently patted Hinata on the shoulder. ”But I'm glad you're not mad at me for not getting you real flowers. I'm not so good with stuff like that-ttebayo.” he admitted a little sheepishly, but his mood didn't fail because of that. Sakura hadn't liked his courting at all, so perhaps this way was better? He should get Hinata a potted plant though, because then she could keep it, instead of them dying on her.

Now that he thought about it, he didn't even know how you 'went to the festival together' .. Did Hinata? He'd never been good at festivals, especially not the one held on his birthday, but that was understandable too. ” .. Sooo ..” He started as he thought about what to say. ”Wanna go to Ichiraku with me or are you busy?” He hopes she'd say yes. Ichiraku was one of his favourite places, and if Hinata game along it would be great. Ramen always tasted better when you shared it with people you liked.

(( Nah, that's fine. You wait for mine as well. ))

Ino sighed as she was just standing at the counter of the flower shop. She yawned seeing as no one was coming in today. With her arms folded she leaned on the counter just staring at the door. She then heard her name being called out by her dad. Yes Okaa-san? she called back up. He said that she could have a break now that he was done doing whatever it was he had been doing. Ino smiled and nodded her head making sure he was down the stairs before she took off her yellow apron and walked out of the door with a little pep in her step glad to have at least a bit of time off.

She began to walk around Konoha then and it sort of dawned on her that she had nothing to do now. She was fixing the fishnets on her arms when she heard her stomach growl. Chuckling lightly to herself she headed over to the Market and grabbed herself a couple of dumplings. One for now, one for way later. She was on ANOTHER diet after all. Got to keep fit to look your best...hmm...Keep fit eh? The blonde kunoichi then smiled and after paying for the dumplings she began to eat one as she walked towards a clearing that was just off the border of Konoha. Time for training... she thought as she continued walking.

I'm the spider, you're the fly...

||•♥•|| Lilith Nekomata ||•♥•||
The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith happily smiled as Tadashi returned her small gestures. While many people would of prefered Lilith's soft skin, she enjoyed Tadashi's worn and tattern hands. They were the hands of a hard worker; they didn't have the tell tale signs of someone who smoked or gambled. They felt and looked as though he would be able to take care of anyone without much trouble. It would be odd to meet a man with soft hands, he was either a liar or a spoiled pampered little brat. Neither of which was very pleasing. Lilith didn't like either option, she wouldn't be woo'd by large amounts of money it would only make her suspicious. Tadashi seemed honest and sincere, he had eased his way closer and closer through tangled webs of silk to get to her safe zone. But was this all just too good to be true? Could there really be someone like Tadashi? A genuine trustworthy man that was actually interested in the dark beauty? Even after learning how odd she was? The raven haired girl certainly hoped so.

However the more time she spent with Tadashi, the closer they seemed to get. It made her begin to wonder about her own feelings. He loved her, but did she love him back? Could she love something with less than eight limbs? If one were to pluck the legs off a spider she'd still love it, but it wasn't the same when compared to a human that naturally had four limbs. Humans were traitorous and deceitful, able to lie through the smiles on their faces. But Tadashi, seemed different. If she were to tell him to stay while she left, he'd surely follow to make sure she didn't get into trouble. He seemed like the kind of man that would carry women bridal style after coming to their rescue. Could she really love someone made of flesh and bone? Instead of someone with an exoskeleton? She felt like she could trust him, something deep within told her that she could trust him like she could trust the spiders. He was different than ordinary humans. Was that not worthy of love?

Lilith looked up to Tadashi's face with those large sparkling strawberry red eyes, a bit of wonder circling around in her ruby irises. He certainly looked deserving of love. He wasn't too mature and he wasn't too childish, he was just right for Lilith. He enjoyed the spiders' company and tried his best to not step on them or cause them harm, that was enough to warm Lilith's heart into a lulled sense of security. Despite how dense she could be when it came to these types of situations, she could tell that he was trying hard to get something he wanted. She could feel it in his tensing muscles that he was nervous. It felt cruel to not return his efforts. He was such a good man that deserved a lot more than he got, the least she could do was attempt to open her heart to him. It wasn't like she was forcing herself to love him, she would admit that she held tender feelings towards him, although she couldn't quite call those feelings love just yet. No harm could come from trying, right?

When Tadashi began to speak of how he loved the spiders and how they interacted with everything, a spark went through her mind. He liked the spiders, and the spiders liked him, so if he began to pick up on their different cues and sounds perhaps he could be like her. That would have to wait till she fully knew that she could trust him. The spiders began to make a very quiet chattering amongst themselves in the rafters of the house. Most likely, it was their version of gossip. Lilith tried to ignore their embarassing little taunts, but the soft blush on her face and the slight avoidance of her gaze from above might of given away what they were talking about. It was quite lucky for her that Tadashi seemed a little distracted, giving her face enough time to cool. She couldn't help but chuckle softly when Tadashi announced to the spiders how he intended to act. Something like that usually went without saying.
"Isn't that what you always do?"
As if on cue, Tadashi seemed to prove Lilith's accusation. Once again she chuckled and allowed herself to walk outside of the home they had made together, dragging Tadashi out with her--seeing as how she had clutched onto his arm and their fingers remained intertwined. Her blackened tentacles quickly followed afterwards and even closing the door behind them. (They certainly came in handy didn't they?) She had a total of three out at the moment; one to hold their basket of freshly baked goodies, one to hold her umbrella, and one to hold the candy present that they had carefully made for Anzeka. The one that held the umbrella slinked before the pair of ninja and gingerly opened the silk cover to protect the two from snow once they had left the porch. But before Tadashi could begin to lead her to wherever he wanted, she had a few more things to say.
"You know, maybe if you stick around long enough I'll help you be able to understand them too.."
Her voice was a little quieter than normal, perhaps because she didn't want to reveal too much to him at once. There was no reason to lose her head, but that little bit of information just seemed to slip out. Almost as if realising this, her mood quickly changed to her usual upbeat tone as she smiled up at him and purposed a new idea.
"How 'bout after we finish visiting Anzeka we take the sceneic view of the village on our way to the festival? You'll get more time to finish the sweets before we start tasting all the yummy festival food~!"
Her last sentence, seemed a little more tempting than most. Probably because she knew that food was Tadashi's weak point, especially when it came to sweets.

Hinata softly continued to smile as she listened to Naruto 'explain' why her father might of yelled at him. It was true that their clan was a group of very quite people, and like most clans, if one was bothered it set off a domino effect and almost everyone in the area was irritated to some degree. Hinata was tossed out of her daze as she felt Naruto's hand lightly beat against her shoulder. She hadn't been expecting it at all. But as Hinata listened to Naruto continue to speak, she couldn't help but wonder a little. Why would she be mad about something like that? Then again, he didn't really know her that well and she wasn't like most girls. She knew that he had liked Sakura for a very long time, and she was a very high maintenance girl. She could just imagine how many times Naruto's kind gestures with good intentions had been shot down by a barrage of fists. To Hinata, it was just nice that he had gotten her anything at all. Even if they both had a bit of dirt soiling their hands, it seemed alright to the pale heiress.
"I.. I thought it was a very sweet ges-gesture.."
Her tongue seemed to stumble over her innocently quiet words as it always did. Luckily for her, this time it wasn't so bad. She could feel herself getting more and more comfortable being so close to Naruto. She didn't feel her face getting extremely hot, nor did her head feel light. Yes her heart was pounding, but that was to be expected. Though she could feel herself standing on the edge, it wouldn't take more than a few 'wrongly interpreted' words to make her usual spell of fainting and tomato faced blushes return. But that was to be expected from such a timid girl, seeing her acting so bold and standing her ground, especially around Naruto, would be a suprise for anyone. In fact, having someone point out how she was acting, would probably make her flustered. The sudden realisation being pointed out would probably make her drop to the ground like a fly that just flew into a cloud of bug spray.

Once again, the nearly akward silence was broken by Naruto's voice. Hinata's pupiless eyes had to blink a few times just to bring her back to reality. This wasn't a dream after all, this was happening and she needed to make sure she didn't mess it up. Perhaps this was why she enjoyed his company so much, she was naturally quiet and had a hard time keeping up conversations, and Naruto was just a tiny bit ADHD. Before the conversation had a chance to die he already had a new idea to cling onto. (Something Hinata didn't mind one bit.) It was very much like Naruto to want to go to Ichiraku's. He practically lived there. Hinata didn't mind it though, that's who Naruto was and everyone knew it. Naruto without Ramen was like a screaming streaking Hinata. It just didn't make sense.

Hinata gently nodded as she gently stroked one of the flower's petals.
"N-no I'm not busy at all.. Ramen sounds like a pe-perfect idea.."
How could she possibly be busy? Nothing would ever make her too busy for Naruto. Especially when she was finally going somewhere with him. It was a shock when he had made the connection that neither of them had anyone to go with to the festival, a shock that made her faint right in front of him. Though if that hadn't happened, he wouldn't of carried her home and he wouldn't of gotten to be there at her birthday along with Neji and Lilith(Temporarily. He did, although, gobble down Lilith's Ichigo Daifuku like there was no tomorrow.) These sweet and sour encounters were becoming more and more frequent, but at least now she had calmed herself down and was able to stand his presence a little longer.

Naruto laughed happily, glad that he was going to have food, and glad that Hinata was coming with him. He patted Hinata's shoulder with the hand that didn't have dirt on it, smiled widely and began walking towards Ichiraku. Even if he was blindfolded, spun around and dumped somewhere in Konoha, he would always be able to find the Ramen Stand. He'd like to think of it as a natural talent of his, and boasted proudly about it to everyone who wanted to listen, which was only Iruka-Sensei and then Ero-Sennin because he had to listen.

Hinata was a real neat person in Naruto's opinion, and it was great she had the time to eat with him. Mostly people were busy with their ninja business, unlike him who was still a Genin. Which was stupid because he was way cooler than Shikamaru, and he had kicked Neji's a**. He frowned at the conclusion he had reached in his head. He should be pronounced the Hokage straight away because he was so awesome. Stupid Baa-chan.

        ”Oi, Hinata!

He yelled out, earning a few strange looks from villagers as they were walking right next to eachother. ”What kind of Ramen d'you like the best? I like Tonkatsu Ramen with eeeeeeextra pork! Although the best Ramen ever is from ichiraku-” All of a sudden, Naruto twirled around, grabbing both of Hinata's hands, looking her straight in the eyes, mouth in a thin line.

”Hinata ..” He breathed, the look in his eyes very serious as he leaned in. ”Promise me .. That you will never, ever, choose another Ramen stand before ichiraku.” No friend of his should eat ramen any other place than Ichiraku unless it was cup ramen, or they were out of town. That was a HUGE sin in Naruto's book.

(( That would really embarrassing, so please do make her find him.
I hope you don't mind that I am running Naruto as very oblivious, and that he doesn't think of Hinata the way he did Sakura to begin with. It's just the way I feel Naruto would act and behave if he really liked someone. Also I think he wouldn't notice how much he likes her until it hits him in the head. People tend to make Naruto smart and it annoys me >__> ))
(( Oh that sounds delightfully fun >D

I hope Plundy doesn't mind finding a white bush on the way to the festival.

He wouldn't be Naruto if he wasn't Oblivious. That's how Hinata likes her man, dense and dumb.

I just don't think I'm doing a good job with Hinata, yes she faints a lot but not THAT much. But at the same time, she's usually not this bold. Then again, it's mind over matter. ))

It didn't take too long before Naruto was happily making his way towards Ichiraku's as he usually did everyday. Hinata couldn't help but admire his carefree laugh that perfectly matched his nature when times were at peace. When trouble was about, Naruto was easily able to toughen up and switch his personality around. He always had a nobel reason to fight and protect someone, and these reasons would spurt forth out of thin air. If only others could see Naruto the way Hinata saw him. Or maybe, it was just Hinata's long infatuation with him that caused her to think this way. Whatever the reason, Hinata's adoration for the blonde never seemed to faulter despite the blunders and predicaments that always seemed to happen when they were younger.

The pale heiress took one last look at the flowers he had given her before beginning to follow after Naruto with a slight bounce to her step. She almost looked like a little duckling following after him, though her steps were far more graceful than a pair of webbed feet. She was careful not to ruin her flowers or bump into someone, while also taking extra care to not lose sight of Naruto. He had this way of popping out of no where to suprise you if you didn't keep track of him. That would most likely spook Hinata if he were to do that while she was lost in thought. Then again, lots of things spooked Hinata.

Suddenly Naruto's ever ear shattering voice broke into Hinata's blissful little cloud. He'd asked her a question that she hadn't entirely thought about before. Her pale eyes blinked a few times as her mind struggled to catch up with what was being asked of it. Hinata wasn't very picky as most high ranking clan members were, as long as it didn't taste of crab or shrimp. Red beans or cinnamon were her favorite flavors, but there were no such flavors in ramen... were there? No, not that she knew of. Last time she went to the ramen stand was with Naruto, Lilith, Tadashi, and that strange ninja that didn't say anything on christmas. What did she order then? It just didn't come as smoothly as she had wanted it to. She remembered eating beside Naruto, but as to what she was eating she couldn't recall. Hinata could hear Naruto talking about his own perfered flavor, but she had let her gaurd down and couldn't prepare herself fast enough for his actions that followed.

Hinata nearly dropped her flowers as her small tender hands were cupped and a pair of ice blue eyes flashed dangerously close to her face. They shone so vibrantly that they almost looked like a pair of frosty orbs with the ability to freeze the heiress' blood solid. That cold feeling would save her face for a few moments as her heart bashed against her rib cage. This was too close! Once he said her name, she could feel her lungs stop working as a soft blush came to her face. She wanted to resist, she wanted to stay awake through something like this. What if he was about to say something important or romantic, she couldn't just let it all be tossed away! As he leaned closer the pressure began to build even greater. But all of that pressure was relieved once Hinata realised his passionate speech was more about Ramen than actual passion. That seemed much more like Naruto. The forceful and spontanious romantic wouldn't fit him at all. This sudden realization took quite a load off of Hinata's chest, though it was a bit too much for her to handle all at once. Her face became beet red and flustered as she realised, not only how close they were and that he was holding her hands, but she had been thinking lovey dovey thoughts about him and he probably knew! (Though with his density, it was highly unlikely.) Her voice slightly trembled for a few moments as she managed to choke out a few words.
"P-P-Promise..I-I would N-nNever--"
Then her eyes closed and her head fell limp. Luckily for her Naruto had been holding her hands so she didn't fall to the ground and soil her pretty Furusode. To people around, the situation would probably be rather confusing. And to Naruto, it would probably be misleading. He probably thought that she had fainted at the thought of going to a different ramen stand, oblivious as he was. But was she really that dramatic? Of course not. But Naruto didn't know that, he was just a simple minded blonde with a one track mind. Though it had started out sweet and strong, this situation was getting more and more hilarious.

Tadashi smiled from ear to ear at the thought of learning how to understand the spiders. For him it would be an honor to be trusted with such a ability. It was after all what allowed Lilith to speak with the spiders, a huge part of the bond between them. He imagined that if he could speak with them he'd talk to them for hours, taking in all the stories. He'd also like to be able to talk to them so they could ask him questions about his intentions, so he could really explain himself. What if he married her? He felt like he'd have to talk with them about it...get permission almost. He'd have to be able to talk to them, right? The thought made him smile, which was odd considering before meeting her he never thought about marriage. Tadashi was the loner for the most part. He couldn't stay in his own village and when he lived in Iwagakure they treated him like the odd ball though...the kids loved him. Mainly because he would fly them around the village. His mind started to drift to thoughts of marriage and Lilith...he caught himself before he started blushing, shaking off the thought.

Her voice and being pulled out the door helped push the thought aside. He then looked into her beautiful eyes once more when she suggested taking the scenic view of the village after visiting Anezka, before going to the festival. It sound like a wonderful idea...the prospects of more food was a added bonus. He nodded his head vigorously and smiled, "That sounds like a wonderful plan." He smiled some more, a bit of a twinkle in his eyes. "As to what you said earlier...when I told the spiders of my intentions. Yes, I am but I wanted tell them because they are your family. I want to show them respect and to show them that I care by telling them my intentions. I want them to fell comfortable with me taking you out to festivals or something like dinner. Because, well...I hope and plan to do it more often." He nodded in agreement with himself. "I want to take you on dates and fly you to places you've always dreamed of going. I want to show you the stars and clouds close up, so you can see how truly beautiful they are." He leaned forward a bit, "But even up close, they aren't as beautiful as you." He whispered gently, his piercing blue eyes starred into Lilith's as he spoke.

"As for getting to learn how to understand them. I would be honored to learn how to do something so amazing. Something that is so very important to you, entrusted to me. And I plan to stick around as long as you let me." He paused for a minute, "Where you are...is where I want to be." He smiled again, gently squeezing her hand, her smooth skin felt wonderful between his fingers. Her beautiful skin glowed like the moon and her eyes sparkled like the stars. Tadashi wasn't under a trance, he wasn't lying, he was just....head over heels nuts in love with the most amazing woman he'd ever met. He loved every moment he spent with her and cherished each and every one of them. He couldn't explain it, he'd never felt this before. Looking at the white haired nut, you wouldn't expect such statements from him. Rather, most wouldn't expect it, which made since because before he never had said such things. His complete honesty would be shocking to some. Normally such gut spilling just didn't happen, not like this at least. But he wanted her to know, he wanted her to see that he really did care.

The Pessimistic Optimist

Lilith smiled brightly as Tadashi followed her lead and agreed with her plan. He was so full of life with sparkling eyes that glistened like the sky on a partly cloudy day. The shines themselves reminded her of clouds that shielded her from the heat of the blistering sun. His clear irises like pools of purified water that could soothe her aches and pains away. They were so calming to look into, but they also had that taste of danger within them. She could tell that a glare from those orbs had the ability to freeze even the strongest of ninja in their tracks. From the scars on his body, she could tell that he had certainly been around violence. She was glad that his personality didn't show that. One would never suspect that such a nice person would harbor such disfiguring scars. This meant that he must of either tried to protect people, or was an outcast looking for his place in the world, just as she was. His face was not that of a liar's, but her's was.

A dark, pale, seductive beauty that hides parts of her body, emphasizes other parts, and can easily switch her emotions at a flicker; this girl was dangerous. Tadashi was partially blind to this, but he could see that she was a force to be reckoned with. (Especially when it came to the spiders.) But did his love for her keep him safe from this horrid truth? Or did it simply blind him and help dig him deeper and deeper into his own grave? She could kill without question if ordered to, and could allow her temper to take over at the simplest things. Blood was nothing to her, cannibalism a normality, and with the power of her tentacles... Ripping people to shreds was child's play. The village had every right to be wary of her, despite her promise to not hurt anyone. Things could easily tip the balance, and the skeletons in her closet could easily come back to haunt her in her new home. Her control of spiders just gave her more of an advantage, something so small and deadly could be used to murder people cleanly. Who would suspect the spider in the kitchen of killing a family of five? Trusting this girl was like licking a lollipop that had a poisonous center, how close was too close to that core?

Lilith couldn't help but smirk as Tadashi explained why he had notified the spiders. He really did seem to understand her relationship with them, and he was always very courteous. He was certainly a pleasure to be around, and his words always seemed to lull Lilith into security. As Tadashi complimented her once again, her strawberry red eyes couldn't help but aquire a dreamy gloss to them.
"Oh Tadashi..."
Lilith chuckled softly and tilted her head to the side.
"Spiders are terrible snoops. Naturally you're never more than three feet away from one at all times. They'll be comfortable, but want to know everything.. And as for the places I've dreamed of, beauty can be found everywhere if you know where to look."
Her ruby orbs traveled back up to his wonderful face, glistening admist her pale skin.
"But of course, I'm sure anything will be much more enjoyable with you to share it with.."
Lilith certainly had a way of lowering and then brightening spirits. It was her own way of teasing, and seeing Tadashi's face brighten up was always enjoyable.

Lilith listened as Tadashi spoke of how eager he was to learn the language of the spiders. It would be, however, a while until Lilith let Tadashi get that close to her. Lilith felt him squeeze her hand, an action that only made her smile a little wider. She released a fourth tentacle from her back and took out one of the still warm pastries from the basket and held it before her. She wrapped her free arm, that had the basket handles resting in her elbow, around the arm that was beside her, resting her head on the shoulder it was attached to. Despite him not being pudgy, his shoulder did make a very nice head rest. The raven haired girl allowed her eyes to close as they walked, showing that she trusted he wouldn't bump her into something as they went down the path. She let out a soft sigh, before her lips began to move.
"I do hope you can love me for me, instead of what you see before you.."
Now many might of taken this as a joke, seeing as how she was tempting Tadashi with a candy filled treat, but the real meaning behind it was much more grave. She was a killer at heart, and much different when it came to missions and being outside this village. Could he really love her when blood lust filled those sparkling ruby eyes? The only exception to this would be when children were around. Even genjutsu and other illusions of children would stop her immediately. That was her main weakness that would hopefully prove that she did have a heart.
