For decades, Marvel Comics has shown us vivid worlds of superheroes and villains, each with their own compelling backstories and characteristics that have spawned a vast following in our culture. Rather than re-creating these worlds, we hope to expand them, not only offering unique interpretations on current characters and organizations but also merging them with original arcs, characters, and powers of our own -- an all new Marvel alternate universe. Whether you're a die-hard fan, casual reader, or just an interested party, we open this role-play up to you.

Timeline and Continuity
Though this is still within the context of the Marvel Universe, the time line has been altered to encourage a unique environment for every player. None of the major events of the Marvel comics have happened yet (House of M, Civil War, Legacy Virus, etc.) However, that is not to say that character-specific events haven't already taken place (ie: Bruce Banner being exposed to Gamma radiation, or the X-Gene being discovered, etc.) This is a fresh perspective and a chance for each of us to have a hand in shaping the growth and development of this universe. No matter which version of this world you're familiar with - movies, games, or comics - there is still a place for you in this world.

Current Arc

Though faced with an evil the likes of which many had never seen, our heroes banded together and stood victorious over the wayward Beast. In the creature's wake, the city continues on- its citizens stepping up to rebuild, reclaim, and restore the damage done. Now, after a few weeks of labor and mourning, a familiar calm has settled and the bustling streets are back in full swing. However, unbeknownst to those above, brews a storm below...

On the horizon lurks not a new evil, but one with a past drenched in tyranny and blood. They never sleep, never die, only grow two-fold with each killing blow. Time and time again they've been silence, but this time, they're determine to make their voice heard through the screams of others...

Our current story opens in the present day, in New York City- a hub for heroes and villains alike. Beneath all the glitz and glamour of the bustling Big Apple lies unspeakable evil, malevolent plotting, and suspicious activity -- some super-sized, some mediocre. However, luckily for its citizens the city's shadows also hide hope and justice.
Whether they swing through the skies, stalk the streets, or just spend their days trying to feel like everyone else, this is the place where our cast of sensational vigilantes and troublemakers make their debut.

The story continues in New York City, where our heroes and villains have made themselves known. Both friendships and rivalries have been forged, malevolent plans laid bare, and incredible discoveries made. Through all of this, however, there remains a distinct yet undefinable undercurrent - the faintest hint of something else waiting to occur.
The city itself seems restless, like a spring coiled too tight. At any moment the tension will become too much, and when that happens then there's no telling what could happen. Its imagination could very well run wild.
