Itsuki smirked a bit as the notification had popped up and disengaged his hiding skill. Almost immediately after he did this, he realized that he had become detected by a small horde of naga warriors. He leaped back a few feet before unsheathing his blade and readying a sword skill. The blade began to radiate a white aura as he ran at the small horde. Using flash raid, he stunned the first Naga warrior and sent it flying into another. Itsuki didn't hesitate as he used flash stab to cover the distance between his targets and himself. He then began to slash away at the Naga warriors combining a few horizontal and vertical slashes with the occasional flash raid thrown in. The Naga warriors got a few hits in as Itsuki continued his onslaught, but the damage had been minimized by the tanking armor he forged out of umbral ingots. After the last of the Nagas had fallen, Itsuki had decided to rest for a few minutes and regain his health.

Keiyo dismissed the map prompt after it had appeared. Why was Carsys so selective in the information that they shared? Pointing out the dungeon was useful, but not particularly so. Players would end up sharing the information eventually regardless. "Or maybe they wouldn't." He mused. His expression grew darker as he called on a memory of a pair of players that had wanted to keep the dungeon entrance a secret on floor one. "Then they could extort other players for their own benefit."

Keiyo cast a glance over his shoulder when he heard a large group approaching. He guessed that it was the members of Leviathan. He didn't have qualms with them, but right now his agitation was only worsening by the minute. If Kou and Geki took up their offer, he'd be fine with it, but for now he wanted to keep moving. Keiyo drew his weapon and proceeded into the dungeon's maw. It was time to get serious.

As Kou was about to answer, he caught sight of Keiyo moving on ahead. 'After the complete flip, I think I should keep an eye on him...' He gave Andalious a smile saying "Sorry." and dashed off to catch up with Keiyo. He drew his weapons as he caught up. "Hey, I get where you're coming from about the lost players...my friends are some of them...That's why...That's why I came to catch up with you. 'Cause we know we've got to get through this and switching is a much easier way to fight than going ahead solo; figured you could use the backup." He spoke with a lighter tone, can't be all dark and gloomy.

Geki was utterly baffled that Red just marched into the dungeon with merely a "Sorry." And Keiyo didn't even respond to her. "Right...Just me then," he said with a sweatdrop. "I guess we won't mind. If you wanna tag along, go right ahead."

Keiyo flicked his gaze toward Kou as the man talked, and merely nodded afterward. "Stay sharp."

The floor dungeon was very much like a castle's dungeon, as to be expected. The passages were composed of dark bricks and were rather uninspiring to look at. Torches provided some light along the way, but otherwise it was just cold, dank hallways. It was relatively uneventful for the duo for a few moments as they navigated the labyrinth, and then one of the dungeon's denizens spawned before them - an Executioner. It was a beefy humanoid creature with a dark hood, and wielded an impressive two-handed axe. It let out a deep growl before performing an overhead swing to try and hit Kou with a cleaving strike.

Kou raised his swords as the Executioner swung at him. He held it off but still took some damage. He pushed it away and slashed at it horizontally. The first slash connected, the second didn't. The Executioner was faster than he had anticipated and struck him with a diagonal swing, knocking the redhead backwards. With his health now sitting above 50%, he called out, "Switch."

The second swordsman was more than ready to switch in when he heard the call. Being in the dungeon, in a hallway no less, the fighting space was more cramped. Keiyo didn't have the freedom to kite monsters and perform wide, easy evasions, which almost meant it would be harder to pull off attacks with more hits. Such was the nature of the game.

With the Executioner left wide open by Kou's attack, it was easy for Keiyo to tear into the hulk with a sideways slice. The monster regained its composure quickly, as to be expected, and tried to nail him with a faster attack by flicking the opposite, blunt end of its axe's handle. Keiyo managed to avoid the attack by ducking and moving inward to the attack in a sideways 'V' ('>') pattern. During the motion, in a curious change of strategy, he sheathed his weapon quickly. His hands were curled into fists, which began to burn with yellow light as he brought them up and outward. He swung with his right fist first to nail the Executioner in the ribs, then with his left, and twice more in an alternating fashion. Finally, Keiyo stooped low, then burst upward to throttle the monster in the jaw with an uppercut to complete the Quicksilver skill. The reason for switching to his martial arts, it seemed, was that the added speed and slight stun of the rapid punches allowed Keiyo to remain on the offensive, and avoid being smashed by a kick from the monster for being in such close quarters. But now, as to be expected, he was vulnerable from the somewhat risky maneuver. "Switch!!" He barked. Despite his bouts of insane fighting style at times, it seemed he was still a good combatant.

RedGrump really preferred to be the one to land hits, but with this one he decided he'd be better off covering for Keiyo's vulnerability and make openings. He lunged forwards and slashed at the large foe. He attacked like before; one horizontal slash, but instead of slashing again, blocked for its attack. It swung diagonally again but instead of connecting with its target, it was stopped and forced back with a large effort from Kou. "Switch!"

While Kou switched in to keep the Executioner occupied, Keiyo pulled out his weapon once more to be prepared if the other swordsman didn't finish it off. It seemed that Kou was trying to play it safe with this one, and remained on a keen defense. So long as it meant that it was dead, Keiyo didn't care. While they were dungeon monsters, the Executioners didn't have the massive defense of the Rooks, so its health bar was dropping noticeably faster. He figured that he could finish this one off in the next round. When Keiyo switched in, he immediately went for a heavy assault with North Star, where he slashed at the monster four times. It was a nice skill to contrast the Vertical and Horizontal Square skills, which seemed to demand more maneuverability. Keiyo had expected the hulk to be be finished, but a decent chunk of red still filled its life meter by the end of the attack. "s**t." Was the only thing he had time to think of before the Executioner retaliated. Its massive axe glowed green, then it swung at Keiyo horizontally. The hit connected with the immobilized swordsman, and it hit hard. The axe blade dug deep into Keiyo's side, and also plowed him into the wall with a thud. A deep howl of pain escaped him in response and he crumpled against wall, with his HP bar taking a massive hit.

Anda watched as two of the players she recognized from boss runs left into the dungeon, leaving only one. Anda smiled at him, and waved him off, "Don't worry about us, you should rush in there and help your own party," She said, thinking he was with them. She looked to her group, "Alright boys and girls, we'll split the two parties at the first junction to cover more ground. You run into the mid boss, wait for the other party before tackling. Lets move," She said, drawing her shield and sword from her back as she began to move into the dungeon.

It was astonishing how Geki didn't notice the other players with the blue haired girl. "...Fair enough. See you!" Geki turned around and ran straight into the dungeon. The walls were made of dark bricks, presumably covered in soot. It looked like a castle basement and reminded him of those old screensavers that looked like a corridor maze. He soon made it to the spot where Keiyo and Red were just in time to see the former slam into a wall. "KEIYO!" Apparently, that shout attracted the attention of the Executioner, who stared dead at him and raised his giant axe, which had started to glow green. Once the Vertical chop came crashing down, Geki managed to dodge out of the way just in time to initiate his own sword skill. Rather than target the Executioner, Geki used Snake Bite, intending to break the axe.

Kou carefully watched as Keiyo switched in and pulled off a North Star. With the HP bar dropping as rapidly as it was, he thought it was done for, until it caught Keiyo in a moment of vulnerability. With a chance in sight he grabbed it, ducking past Keiyo as he hit the wall and slashing at the Executioner in a circular motion, knocking its HP out completely. As the foe dissipated into data, he went to his teammate's side. "You OK there?" he asked, holding out a potion.

⋙Siegfried watched as everyone ran in to attack even the entire snake party did, He sat there for a moment before he drew his big two handed swords and walked into the area. His grip tightened on his swords as he tried to ignore his instinct to just charge in there, but it was no good, he Let out a sigh before running straight in there and activating a sword skill Heavy Rush this was a two handed sword skill that let him slash 2 times with each weapon, and dealt heavy damage. After he was done and took a good portion of health out of a lone executioner , the executioner attacked him with its massive axe. Instead of dodging Siegfried put his two swords up in a cross shaped in front of him and blocked a good portion of the damage before he jumped back. ⋘

"Fine." He remarked, as he took the potion from Kou and drunk it down. Slight agitation gnawed at him, but at least he wasn't dead. It was, admittedly, foolish to charge in at something that didn't seem to have particularly high defense in the dungeon of all places. He'd remember that for next time. With his HP now beginning to climb back up, Keiyo got back on his feet. He glanced at Geki, who decided to catch up instead of going with the other party. It made little difference to him, but having someone else to switch with would hopefully speed things up.

After dismissing his spoils menu, Keiyo kept moving forward. There were plenty of more fights ahead.

"If you're wondering," Geki spoke up, "the lady outside is talking over some things with her friends. They'll be in shortly." Keiyo, however, didn't seem to be listening as he just kept moving forward. Geki wasn't surprised. He also wouldn't be surprised if Keiyo's cursor would turn orange one day at the rate he was going. Regardless, Geki sheathed his sword and kept a few paces behind.
