Rut suddenly realized the system alert and soon they had the information that the level dungeon had been found...Smiling, he looked to PoH and nodded. "new dungeons mean big rewards, especially level dungeons. Let's go." He told her as he suddenly took off into a run toward the location on his map. As he ran she'd notice that at times he seemed to vanish into the various shadows he passed and appeared from another, though he kept pace with her. Eventually they came to the dungeon and entering said dungeon without a second thought. Rut already had his sword pulled, and while ti might have been sparter to wait, therer was no information to collect to be prepared so the only choice was to descend into the dungeon. There were a number of enemies spawning, but rut and PoH made quick work of them with the skills leveled appropriately and Poh with her skill set optimized and tactics with daggers and poisons prepared.

Even with some of their fiercest attacks, A-Wolf and G-Bear were barely scratching that monster. "I shouldn't have come here. We're going to be slaughtered." Keiyo thought with gritted teeth. He tried to circle around and flank the spider, but after A-Wolf had been webbed he had to back off. With no one to grab its attention afterward it would just shred him.
The swordsman barely noticed Gabrial shouting in time to reach out for the crystal as it flew through the air. He snatched it with his free hand and glanced at it. "So these are health crystals. Haven't seen them before." With a blink he bolted around the spider with the crystal outstretched. Since G-Bear had the monster's attention, he reached the spearman unhindered. He skidded to a stop and pressed the ruby block to A-Wolf's body, where it shattered and allowed the tank to recover his health.
A glance over his shoulder showed that there wasn't time to dawdle though. The Giant Arachnid was focused on Gabrial now. "He might be a higher level than me, but he doesn't look to have much armor. I've gotta give these guys a fighting chance if nothing else!"
Keiyo tossed his sword into his good hand and drew in his sword as he sprinted forward. He was almost at the spider when he heard another Howl skill being used. Someone that Keiyo didn't recognize had entered the fray, a blonde male. "Carsys... if they hadn't sent out that notice we would be alone down here. We'd better make this count." The swordsman skidded to a stop. Attacking blindly wouldn't help. He would have to coordinate with everyone to make the most of this fight.
Gabrial heard the howl and watched the spider head for the new guy. Gabrial said to himself "That's it!" Then shouted 'A-WOLF USE HOWL!!!" Alejandro howled and took the attention away from the spider just before it tried to attack Demon. Gabrial shouted to Demon "New guy! When the spider gets near A-wolf use your howl ability! We'll keep switching it's target before it launches an attack! That way It never gets an attack off!" Gabrial turned to Keiyo ordering "While it's running between targets hit it with any attacks you can get off!" As the spider was heading for Alejandro Gabrial threw his last daggers then pulled out his one handed dagger and rushed for the creature. Alejandro readied his spear. He was waiting for Demon to use howl again then he could stab the spider from behind. Hopefully fast enough since he was still under slow status inflicted from the web. The spider reached Alejandro and was readying for the attack.
As the girl watched the others she felt her hands twich. She should be in there helping them. If she died, so what! She would just revive at town anyways. With a deeo breath, she slowly walked inside, pins drawn and 2 diped in her slow posion.
The spider readied an attack, and he froze. His little sister was right. This was so much diffrent from other games. He could even feel the hair on the back of his neck stand up. But right before the moster struck him, there was a howl and it turnes away from him. Looking to his left he nodded a little to G-Bear before letting out a second howl skill. This time when it turned to him he lifted his sword. But as he watched the beast, he saw small silver sticks stab into its head. " Angel! " he snaped looking over to see her next to the white haired fighter. " I told you to stay out side!"
The girl only smiled. " sorry, just want to help so much, I couldnt help my self!~" She let out a small giggle.
Alejandro's spear nicked the back of the spider and Gabrial threw his knives at it. Gabrial ran out of knives and moved to equip his dagger. As gabrial saw another girl entered the fray he growled thinking 'There are too many people here. We won't get the best stuff if there are too many people.' Gabrial then saw the health bar above Angel's head. It was very low. Plus this Demon guy seemed very protective. Gabrial thought for a moment on letting the spider kill these two so he and Alejandro could keep the best items. This was how they'd play it in other games but in this game they may need allies. So Gabrial ordered "Alejandro now!" Alejandro howled and regained the attention of the spider. Keeping it from attacking Demon. Gabrial ran up behind the spider and kept slashing at it. Alejandro took his spear and charged it. Once Demon would howl again Alejandro would thrust the spear into the spider's face. Gabrial shouted "NEW GUY HOWL!!!"
PoH followed the man to the dungeon taking note of his running into shadows. She paid little attention to it but merely made a mental note of it. She was unsure of this skill but she had seen similar skills that seemed to be rare and somewhat unique. PoH wondered how one would obtain such a skill at this level. As far as she had seen no special skills had popped up for her to train so far. Making a mental note she carried on, entering the dungeon. There were various enemies but PoH had gotten exceptionally good at dodging attacks especially from creatures that used weapons. Wolves were tricky because of having teeth and claws it made them difficult to dodge but weapons were merely one weapon and dodging a single object was not so much of a problem.
This is not to say PoH went unharmed, she did get hit once losing a fair portion of her health revealing how squishy she was as a character however with her stock of potions she just drank a bit and carried on whenever she got hit. These enemies were great for exp especially at her level. If it wasn't for her companion she would have had a hard time getting kills but iwth him she was able to get exp much faster on stronger monsters.
Her partner seemed to do more damage than her by a distinguishable ammount but this didn't bother PoH as when she landed poison and could slash freely her damage grew exponentially. This was a very specific situation but it was one she took advantage of freely. However in this dungeon PoH went easy on using poisons, her partner being quite capable she did not want to deplete her stock despite it's respectable size.
Once they had cleared a group of enemies she realized that the two weren't in a party together and she still had no idea of what the mans name was. Doubting he had knowledge of her name and it's implications PoH looked sidelong at him.
"Do you think we should form a party together? It should make exp distribution easier, not to mention we'll be able to see eachother on the map." PoH spoke calmly as always not showing much emotion and just speaking like a regular average girl who was neither excited nor nervous. She was in fact extremely nervous but she hid it in her indifferent tone. The option of partying together posed a disadvantage that was likely equal to both of them. The track skill PoH had read about relied on knowing the characters name, given they were both similar in playstyle and likely character builds it was fairly likely he would have this skill and could track her, though the equal threat was present for him aswel had she the tracking skill. All in all it balanced out and as long as he wasn't a PKer it would be irrelevant anyway for now.

Rather bored that evening, Yukari continued on her walk. Her lazy movements were paused and she was barely unmoved as she felt someone bump into her. Her marigold orbs flickered in amusement as she stood before a blonde girl, eyes of different colors: Heterochromia. It was a trait not often seen, real life or game. Being few good inches taller than the stranger, Yukari simply gave a light pat to the girl's head. "Are you okay there, kid?"
Amidst the madness of the howling, attacking, and dodging, Keiyo tried to stay at the ready. He moved out of the Giant Arachnid's vision as it would turn, and tried to keep out of the way of the tanks to let them do their job. During one of the exchanges, he thought he saw an opening. "Now!" He thought as he bolted forward. His sword gleamed and he tried to pull off a Horizontal. It had almost connected when a massive jab knocked the wind out of him and practically overloaded his nerves with pain. He could barely even let out a cough. As he looked down, he found that his torso had been impaled on one of the spider's legs. It had somehow anticipated his attack and fought back. In a panic he glanced at his health bar, just in time to see it deplete. "Just... one hit?" Was all he could think before his body exploded into fragments and the emptiness of death claimed him once more.
A small 'eek!' escaped the girl as she bumped into the taller woman. She raised her head with a mixture of fear, apology, and sadness twisting her face. She noticeably cowered when the large sword wielder touched her head. "Auhh, everything's f-fine. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you! I wasn't looking where I was going, and I just..." She took a couple of small steps back and lowered her head. With her resistance all but gone, the salty tears streaked down her cheeks. The girl bit down hard on her lip just to keep from audibly sobbing. This day couldn't get any worse.
Alejandro and Gabrial watched in horror as Keiyo was defeated. Gabrial saw the Spider's health had hit red and that must've caused the new attack to form. Alejandro growled and sneered. He took his spear and charged it up. Then stabbed into the spider's face. The spider attacked and swung around. Alejandro tried to parry and was hit yet again. Gabrial ran up behind the spider and started swinging wildly. The two went on the offensive. The spider prepared to swing again. Gabrial used his dodging skill to avoid the backside of the spider. Causing a level up in Gabrial's dodge skill as well as causing a successful dodge. Alejandro tried to parry, but was once more hit with the backside. Alejandro and gabrial roared together "AAAAAUUUUUGGGHHHHH!!!" And kept attacking. Alejandro backed up and charged his spear. Then lunged it at the spider hitting it directly on with a critical hit. Gabrial charged his dagger and slashed upwards at the spider. Then dropped his dagger, and charged the dagger in his other hand for another upwards slash. The spider's health hit 0 and the spider was defeated. Experience was divided amongst Alejandro, Gabrial, Keiyo, Angel, and Demon. Causing a level up in Angel and Demon. Alejandro and Gabrial looked at their experience bar. It was now 80% full having only been 5% full before. Something from the monster drop was given to Angel, Demon, Alejandro, and Gabrial. Keiyo not being eligible since he was not in the area of the monster's body, nor was he in a party with any of the players. He received experience simply for participating in the battle. Angel was given toxic venom which could be used to craft poisen. Demon was given 5 Throwing picks. Gabrial recieved 5 throwing daggers, and Alejandro received spider meat. Alejandro approached the chest and opened it. Inside was a healing crystal, the quest item needed, and a sack of gold worth roughly 100g. Alejandro took the items and the boys pulled out their crystals and used it to teleport to the town of beginnings. Deciding to return later for the boss fight.
Rut dealt with various enemies with misdirection and timing of his strikes and shifting of his stances. One quick movement with a single hand technique, then grabbing the sword with two ahnds and slipping into a power attack was the common strategy he employed to deal with enemies quickly and efficiently. The two of them kept moving deeper into the dungeon, though Poh said something and he listened.... He tood the advice to heart and nodded. "While we're in dungeons." he said, opening the party menu and sending her an invite and closed the menu.
However as the moved father in, eventually he heard the sounds of a large fight and he looked to her...a dungeon boss maybe? Looking to poh and making a decisin, he grabbed her and pulled her into the shadows, his assassim skill blending him into the shadows and with poh in contact with him, she was blended into the shadows as well, hidden from sight and detection. Neither of them was high enough level at the moment, however if they could wait to see what was waiting and merely avoid it...Looking to poh, he nodded. "Decision is yours, wanna face a dungeon boss?"

With her eyebrow still quirked in amusement, the older woman watched as the younger cowered before her. She wasn't that scary.. Inwardly she chuckled, knowing she wasn't the true meaning provoke such negativity. "Hey, don't worry.. Are you.. crying? Bold and rather shameless, her fingers cupped the round face before her, lifting the unknown girl's chin to peer closer as she cried.

Toralei ears were filled with noise. The new guild didn't seem like a place for a up and coming blacksmith like herself. It seemed more like a guild suited for fighter and she was a support character. Chatter about the first floor of the dungeon was a very hot topic and she couldn't take a single step without people sending her request to join a party. Toralei wasn't sure if it was because of her exotic looking character design or the baby dragon resting on her shoulder. Many people have offer for her to join their party to explore the first floor. While the first floor seemed like a hot spot for more supplies, she had to turn them all down. she wanted to solo for a bit and raise her level for the boss fight. Reaching an hand to mindlessly stroke her familiar tail. The dragon coo affectionately as she stalk the town shops. The shops were crowded with people. Throwing their money away on pre-made weaponry and armor. The inexperience beast tamer 'tsk' at the crowd and decided to gathering herbs outside the town instead.
PoH accepted the party invite looking at the man's name. "Rut huh." she said calmly as if taking a mental note. Before she had time to do anything further she felt a hand grab her and pull her into the shadows. PoH was startled but knew not to scream, it would acomplish nothing in a place like this and only alert more enemies. She heard Rut talk about the boss monster asking if she wanted to fight it.
"I'm not feeling particularly suicidal at the moment. I say we wait for the others to deal enough damage and soak up some hits and then we run in and take as much as we can. I don't know about you but I can't take a hit from a boss at this point. If I can have others do it for me then that will suit me just fine." She said once more indifferent as if it wasn't a thing, not for a moment losing her composure. PoH knew she stood no chance of beating a boss at this stage of the game and even if Rut could she was not going to rely on someone 100%.
PoH stood silently awaiting Rut's response. She was impressed with herself for putting up such an amazing facade of calmness. She was playing her character just as she wanted to and not letting her real life self interfere.
