How did he know that as soon as he was out of sight, his best friends would come in and try to take all of his daughter’s attention? Having showered last night, Cameron only took a couple minutes to take a quick shower and was now drying himself off when he heard the door open and Chris’s voice could be heard through the bathroom door. Cameron couldn’t help but roll his eyes in amusement as the thin walls of his dorm allowed him to listen as one of his best friends spoke to his daughter in gibberish speech. He could not believe how in love his best friends were to Mia.

It brought to mind the days before Mia was born when her mother was pregnant with her. He had to admit to himself that even though they had been best friends since their first year because they shared the same dorm back in Salem, Mia was the reason why Cameron was even closer to Chris and Sam. They were the first to know about him getting Mia’s mom pregnant and they were the first to know that she was going to deliver. The guys had been with him during the entire time, save for the delivery since only he was allowed in the room. But afterwards, the two never left his side. They never left after Mia’s mom died during the delivery, and they never left when it was determined that Mia was not breathing on her own and had to spend days in the ICU because of his critical condition. Cameron really owed a lot to these two. It was the main reason why he had decided, without a single doubt, that they would be the perfect godfathers for her. Because no matter how many times he thought about it, those two must have fallen in love with Mia at first sight just as much as he had the second her bloody form appeared. Yes, there was no doubt about it that the perfect little child he called his daughter was the reason why he, Chris, and Sam were the best of friends now.

Cameron was in the middle of fixing his hair when he heard a knock on the door followed by Chris’s voice saying that Mia was obviously missing him more than her actual father. He rolled his eyes in amusement then chuckled. There was no point in answering back when it was just fact that no matter what those two said, Mia was going to love her biological father more than her godfathers, and Cameron had plenty of evidence to prove it. But for the benefit of his best friends, he was going to be nice and keep them to himself. Whatever made his best friends happy, he was not going to get in the way of it.

It didn’t even seem like minutes after Chris that Sam came into his room and fawned over Mia. He could hear different noises coming from the room and it literally made Cameron stop what he was doing to wonder what the hell was going on. He then concluded that it was probably just Sam using his ability to make Mia happy. It must have been working because his little girl was in fits of giggles that, after so much time with her, sounded to Cameron like she was also drooling a lot. He leaned against the wall to listen to his daughter’s contagious laughter, picturing in his head the times in his life when all he wanted was to hear that laugh and nothing else.

It made Cameron happy that the sight of her godfathers made Mia very excited. She was starting to become a very smart child and could remember faces now compared to a few months ago. There were times when Cameron felt that he wasn’t ready for his little angel to grow up. Then he remembered that her growing up meant fewer diapers to change and a part of him was encouraging it. He believed that he could not handle another round of watching his best friends change her diaper, after the first time he walked in on them attempting to change her for the first time, Cameron will never take the two seriously; not even when they have kids of their own. He will always remember that meat racked pot and his poor baby sitting there without a diaper on.

He was brought back from his trip down hilarious memory lane when Sam’s voice came through and told him his lame excuse that Mia liked him better. This made Cameron chuckle and shake his head. Pushing himself off the wall, he pulled his bathroom door open just as Sam exited. He looked down at Katy with an amused smirk on his lips. “I’m sorry for those two. They’re obviously desperate for Mia’s attention. Remind me to disinfect my laptop before we leave. Those two kissed my screen didn’t they?” he jested then moved to share the chair with Katy to look at his daughter. The little child’s face seemed to have lit up like the stars in the night sky at the sight of him. She even started let out a high shriek of excitement and clapped her hands enthusiastically while drool dribbled down her chin. “Oh, that’s very yummy, mamas. You’re already dribbling on your new bib Baba bought you, huh?” he cooed to his daughter, resting an arm on the back of the chair and around Katy. He turned to look at Katy with a smirk before bringing all his attention to Mia again. She was speaking inaudible gibberish again, this time fumbling with the necklace that Chris had gotten her as well as the tiara Sam bought her. This made Cameron chuckle. “You like the gifts that Uncle Chris and Uncle Sam bought you, mamas? They’re nice huh?” he asked with a smile.

He noticed that it was his grandfather that was now holding Mia, a small smile on his lips. “She can’t get over the tiara and the necklace. But don’t worry Cammie, she absolutely loved your package. Only her father would fully understand her love for monkeys. And the locket, I know how important it was to you. I’m happy that you’re giving it to Mia, though I would have recommended waiting a little longer.” The old man said, bouncing little Mia on his lap gently, resulting in the infant giggling uncontrollably. She was always a fan on being bounced when on someone’s lap. Cameron smiled softly. His grandfather was right, the locket he had given Mia for her gift was very important to him. It was the same locket he had given to Mia’s mother when she was pregnant. Now he wanted his favorite girl to have it, that way she could always know how beautiful her mother was. “We’ll make sure that she doesn’t break it, so she’ll only really wear it when you’re around. But we’ll also make sure that she doesn’t hurt herself with the gifts Chris and Sam gave her.” Cameron blinked once then looked at his daughter. He acknowledged that he understood with a silent nod and a smile. “Oh, and Katy. Thanks for the storybooks. Mia loves them.” Cameron looked at his friend with a bright smile. She would give Mia books.

Looking down at his watch, Cameron’s eyes widened then he looked at Katy. “We gotta go or we’ll be late. Hey Gramps, I’ll call you later tonight so you can put Mia to sleep. I realize it’s late now,” he explained, bringing the laptop closer to him so that he could hang up soon. However, any kind of goodbye did not happen because Mia must have sensed that he was going to leave. “BABA!” Mia had cried out, a frown on her face as she reached her hands out to him as if she was hoping that he would take her and hold her. A frown appeared on Cameron’s face and he looked worriedly at Katy. He hated these kinds of moments. He knew that any second, Mia was going to act hard-headed and start crying. So these next few seconds had to be acted out fast. With a sigh, Cameron looked to the screen again with a bright, reassuring smile. “Mia, baby, Baba has to go. And you have to go to sleep now. I’ll talk to you later when you wake up okay? I’ll be right here waiting for you. I promise, baby. Baba needs to go now. I love you.” After he motioned a kiss to the screen, Cameron said goodbye to his grandparents then allowed Katy to say her goodbyes and quickly ended the call before he could see his daughter cry. He knew that she would start crying after he hung up, but what else could he do?

For a second, Cameron allowed a tired look to appear on his face before he took a deep breath and stood up off the chair. “Come on, we better get going before this storm gets any worse.”

For the most part, Cameron thought that Herbology class today went by too slowly. He wasn’t even that interested in flesh-eating trees. Most of the time he spent in class today was passing notes to Elisa who was sitting in front of her. The topic of their discussion was Anaily. Cameron had to give the girl props for being able to keep their conversation away from eyesight of Anaily. Eventually, the two had to stop passing notes because the Asian female brought all her attention to Anaily for some reason. It didn’t matter anyway because Cameron already knew what he had to do. Elisa had done her part, it was time for him to do his.

Once class ended, Cameron waited for Anaily to leave before he went off after her. He wasn’t following her. He was just keeping a close eye on her as much as he could. Eventually, they were both in the same hallway with him a few feet behind her, but not noticeable enough to make it obvious he was trailing her. It was now or never. With a deep breath, Cameron pulled out his iPhone and scrolled to his photos. But just as he was about to walk to Anaily, he heard someone call out to him. Turning his head, Cameron smiled at Enzo as the guy came closer. The smile faltered for a second when he took sight of the guy’s nose. He had heard about the fight between Zak and Charlie earlier and that it was because Zak punched Enzo. He felt sorry for his friend, but he was also glad that he was also alright.

“Hey, man. I heard about what happened earlier. I hope things are good with you; though the nose does give you a bit of a bad a** look. And Mia’s good. I was just talking to her this morning. And it’s nine months, not six. I wish she was just six months though. I don’t think I’m ready for her to grow up just yet,” he answered with a chuckle. Turning his head, he checked to make sure that Anaily was still in the hallway. She was. He turned his head to look at his friend again with a nervous smile. “Hey, listen. Wanna back me up? Eli has been helping me figure out a way to do this plan for weeks without telling anyone. I was going to do this on my own, but you having my back would make this easier for me. Come on.” With a huge grin on his face, Cameron wrapped an arm around Enzo’s shoulders and led him hastily over to where Anaily was.

“Ana! Wait up!” Cameron cried out, stopping right in front of her. He released his arm from around Enzo’s shoulder with a wink then turned his attention to the female in front of him. “Hey, listen, I was wondering about two things. First, do you wanna study later? Since we have a test coming up soon, maybe you and I could study together. Two heads are better than one.” He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck with the hand that was not tightly holding onto his phone. Pausing for a second, he looked from Anaily to Enzo then back to Anaily. It really was now or never. Clearing his throat, he continued. “Um, Mia turned nine months today. I wish you saw her, she’s so big now.” He paused again for dramatic effect. “Oh wait, my grandparents sent me a recent photo of her. Check it out.” With a deep breath, and a quick look to Enzo for support, Cameron scrolled to his photos and selected the first photo in the folder dedicated only to Mia’s pictures. He wasn’t lying when he said that this was a recent photo. It was just that this photo was recent for a reason. He looked at the photo for a second, let out a sigh then handed the phone over to Anaily. In the photo, Mia was sitting up in her play pen. She had one of her adorable toothless smiles on her face and her hands were messing with her hair. She was wearing a pink onesie with the words “Go to the ball with my Baba?” stitched on the front in blue letters.

Yes, Cameron was asking Anaily to the ball. This had been Elisa’s plan for days and it only took her and Chris’s pestering to actually go along with it. As he waited for a response, Cameron calmly stuck his hands—which were actually sweating—into his pockets and turned his eyes towards Enzo. He really wanted to ask what his friend would think Anaily would say, but obviously that would be a stupid thing to do.

Jacqueline Hayes, known as Jackie to most, had always been a girl that had worked hard towards having routines so she could get things accomplished. That was to say, she had schedules designed for when she was supposed to wake up, get dressed, and leave to eat breakfast so she'd be able to fit everything she needed to do in before class. She typically followed these schedules religiously without deviating from them, apparently having no problem waking up early, but for some reason today said schedules seemed to have been forgotten as breakfast was already over and the blonde haired female was still curled up in bed and cuddling with her pillow. The female was still dead asleep when she rolled over in bed with intentions of making herself more comfortable, although instead she wound up toppling out of bed and landing on the floor below with an alarming crash.

This was enough to startle the female awake, the blonde staring about the room looking bewildered as she wondered to herself how on Earth she'd managed to land on the floor. A frown appeared on her face as she rubbed her rear end, wincing as she did so, thankfully that seemed to be the only thing that received any damage during her fall. Standing up the female stood to her full height and lazily tossed the pillows and blankets that had fallen off with her back onto the bed. The female didn't even bother to check the time yet, assuming that she had woken up before her alarm was set to go off. Jackie could already hear the sounds of rain hitting the window so she immediately turned to look at outside, noting that the weather seemed quite miserable. She sighed heavily. She didn't mind the rain, it could actually be quite nice sometimes, but she certainly didn't want to walk to Herbology in that mess. Hopefully it would clear up a little before they all had to go to class.

Jackie wandered away from the window, rubbing her lower back in a sleepy manner as she searched for her watch so she could check the time. It honestly didn't take too long for her to locate her watch and upon noting the time, at first she could have swore she was reading it wrong? It took her a few seconds to process the information before finally blue eyes widened and she shouted out a stream of profanity in French, being French-Canadian and speaking the language since birth. The watch was dropped back onto her desk rather abruptly as the female hurried around her room, gathering up the first clean clothes that she could find and rushing into the bathroom. She needed to shower and get dressed so she could leave and find some source of food before she had to go to Herbology. Jackie may have been a female but she wasn't one to starve herself. She liked food, and she doubted she could make it through Herbology on an empty stomach.

Luckily Jackie managed to speed up her entire routine enough that she was out of the shower and dressed in under twenty minutes. Makeup and hair was rushed although it still came out looking rather nice, at least in Jackie's opinion. Jackie didn't even bother finding the rest of the books she needed for the day, merely grabbing her Herbology textbook, a collection of slightly crumpled parchment, a quill and ink and her wand - all of which were tossed into her bag in no particular order before the female practically flew out of her room. With all her rushing about there was quite a large mess left behind in her room that she would have to clean later. Which, knowing Jackie, she probably wouldn't really clean her room all the way. With her habits she was lucky if she talked herself into straightening up a little bit.

Jackie didn't even bother going into the dining hall, knowing that all of the food from breakfast was likely already cleared. Instead she passed the kitchens and slipped into the kitchens where the house elves were at work. The house elves seemed un-phased by her arrival, recognizing the blonde haired female as this was not the first time she'd come to the kitchens. There were a few occasions before where she'd slipped down here for a midnight snack, if that doesn't make it obvious that she likes food I don't know what will. Jackie conversed with a few of the house elves, practically begging for food, and soon the female was exiting the kitchen with a few fruit pastries and a cup of coffee. Sipping from the coffee, Jackie noted that there was something about it that tasted odd. She'd been noticing that a lot while at Westburg but she hadn't pointed it out to anyone. Not to say that it was a bad odd, actually it was a good odd, but still very odd. Never in her life had Jackie tasted coffee like this before attending Westburg. The female continued munching on her pastries and drinking her coffee, wandering about the school aimlessly without much else to do until finally she noted it was time to head to class. She may have been late for breakfast but she certainly wasn't going to be late for class, that much was sure.

Disposing of the napkin and her coffee cup that she had been carrying around Jackie began heading downstairs. On her way down the rather elaborate staircase and into the entrance hall Jackie caught snippets of conversations from other students walking near her, hearing words being spoken about a fight that had occurred between two students that had used to attend Durmstrang. Jackie didn't really find this interesting, she had not been there to witness the fight and she doubted that it was anyone she knew, so she pushed this bit of information aside and instead focused on what they would be learning in Herbology today. She hoped it was something interesting. Jackie was pretty talented at Herbology although when it came down to the lessons and her interest in them there was a fifty fifty chance of her either loving or hating them. When they were talking about dangerous things such as devils snare then the subject was capable of maintaining Jackie's attention. On the other hand, when they were talking about boring subjects like gillyweed which seemed pretty much useless unless you were interested in swimming - then Jackie usually ended up doodling all over her notes and napping in the middle of class.
                                                          User Image

Herbology had actually been interesting today, really interesting actually. They had been given a lecture on flesh-eating trees and Professor Devereux had even gone so far as to bring in live samples, which Jackie knew professors back at Salem never would have done. Needless to say, the lesson managed to hold her attention for the full ninety minutes and she took a lot of notes. When they were finally dismissed Jackie took her time gathering her things together, struggling to reorganize her bag considering she'd made such a mess of it in her mad rush this morning. While she was doing so she heard a couple students nearby talking again, once more mentioning the fight. This time, however, Jackie actually heard names. The names Zak and Enzo came up, which Jackie didn't pay much attention to, but upon hearing the name Charlie, Jackie glanced upwards. Charlie had been involved in the fight? This left Jackie rather confused. Charlie didn't seem like the person to get into fights. In fact, he didn't seem like the sort of person to get into any trouble at all.

Deciding that she needed to get to the bottom of this, Jackie shut her bag and slung it over her shoulder, casting a drying charm before stepping out into the downpour outside the greenhouse and beginning the trek back towards Westburg. She didn't waste time stopping to chat with anyone, on a mission at the moment. Well, it couldn't exactly be labeled as a mission, more like a quest for answers. Arriving back into the school Jackie stood in the entrance hall for a moment, wondering to herself - if she were Charlie, where would she go? She ran through a list of locations in the school in her head before finally deciding that it would be best to start by checking his room. Nodding to herself, Jackie started heading upstairs, all the while trying to reason with herself. It was probably another Charlie, the Charlie she knew would never get into fights. Were there any other Charlie's attending Westburg? Well, it was a reasonably common name, and Jackie was sure there were probably several other Jackie's attending Westburg too so it was possible that it was someone else. But she'd also heard mention of Enzo, and Jackie knew that Charlie was friends with Enzo...

All these thoughts running through her head at once ended up confusing Jackie so the female tried to push them aside, thinking of something that wasn't so confusing...like the dance. Before everyone had started gossiping about the fight that was all anyone was talking about. The dance, who was going, who was taking who, who was wearing what, what the dance was going to be like. While Jackie had been interested in going to the dance at first, well she was still interested, it was kind of becoming talked about a little too much. It seemed as if the students at Westburg were incapable of coming up with any other topic to talk about. All the females at school seemed to be fluttering about, worrying about someone asking them to the dance, apparently finding it important that they go with a date. Jackie must have been an odd female, because she was going to the dance and frankly, the blonde did not give a damn weather she had a date or not. If she had a date, that was great, she would have a lot of fun. If she didn't have date she was still going to go and she was going to have fun with her friends. She could find people to dance with and students were bound to throw smaller parties after the dance that would also be entertaining. In short, unlike most females at Westburg, Jackie did not think it would be the end of the world if she didn't have a date to the dance.

Turning the corner Jackie continued walking in the direction of the boy's dorms, finally locating Charlie's room. The female knocked on the door a couple of times for courtesys sake before opening the door and peering inside. Sure enough Charlie was there, and he was injured. He was obviously the Charlie that had been involved in the fight that everyone was talking to. Stepping into the room Jackie shut the door behind her, leaning against it in a casual manner with an attempt at a light hearted smile on her face. "Hey there stranger, when were you planning on telling me you suddenly had an interest in street fighting?"
She teased, now approaching him and taking the opportunity to examine his injury closer. Jackie obviously didn't seem to care that she had entered his room without real permission, nor did she seem to care that she was invading his personal space to examine the damage that had been done during his fight. Anyone that knew Jackie knew this was typical behavior for her, so hopefully Charlie wouldn't be too alarmed. "Hope you don't mind I let myself in, I'm kind of rude like that," She commented casually as her eyes scanned the bruise. She frowned, "That Russian freak did this to you?" She asked, her eyebrows raising. Jackie obviously didn't approve of Zak, he was really weird - and that was saying something considering that Jackie had her moments where she could be the very definition of weird. Jackie chuckled, "Want me to call one of your many female admirers so they can kiss it better for you? I'm sure they'd have a ball doing that," She joked.

so let's crawl back to love !!

"Hey Essie, nice running into you here too." Charlie said, upon noticing Esme's arrival, and Esme's method of response was to smile at him, mumbling to herself about how she needed to pay more attention when she was walking so she didn't injure anyone. That was bound to happen one day with how often she walked around in a daze. "I second that motion. So Mich is going to change, we'll all walk to class together. Essie, stick around?" " Charlie suggested, and Esme nodded. So the trio headed in the direction of the girl's dorms, the direction that Esme had just came from but she didn't make mention of that. Once they reached the female dorms they allowed Mich to go into her room to change, and while they were waiting Esme and Charlie spent their time chatting with one another, the usual updates on the other's life and how they were doing with classes.

Eventually Mich had finished getting ready and then the three walked together in the direction of the exit so they could head out to the greenhouses to attend Herbology. Esme found herself glancing out the window as they walked, noticing that it was still raining and therefore they'd all need a drying charm in order to go to class. The weather at this school was really frustrating sometimes. Not that it was much better at Hogwarts, actually there were points in the year when it was worse at Hogwarts, but at least the teachers at Hogwarts were considerate enough to cancel classes like Herbology and Astronomy when the weather was this miserable. Apparently Westburg didn't care if any of their students got swept away in a torrential downpour. Turning back to look at Charlie and Mich, Esme noted that it seemed as if Charlie was about to say something when a commotion happening nearby was cause for her attention was drawn away from Charlie.

Why was Enzo bleeding? That was the first thought that went through Esme's head as she noticed that he had a bloody nose. It didn't take the female too long to put the pieces together, connecting them and figuring out that Zak had punched Enzo, thereby breaking Enzo's nose. It was pretty shocking to see students fighting like this in the middle of the corridor, nothing like this had happened at Westburg thus far. It wasn't the best of situations, but Esme thought it was a good thing that they hadn't thought to pull out their wands and begin hexing each other. Charlie started jogging towards Enzo and Esme followed behind him, dropping her bag onto the floor. "Enzo.. are you okay? Essie, Mich-- help me get a hold of him." She could hear Charlie say, but already Esme was ahead of him, She took hold of one of Enzo's arms, making an effort to try and help him stand upright. As a single person that was a difficult task considering Enzo was a male and she was much smaller than him, but with Mich's help they succeeded in keeping him from falling. Esme was trying her best to ignore all the blood, being a little bit squeamish.

If witnessing a fight between two students at Westburg wasn't enough, things got more shocking when Charlie joined the fight - opting to punch Zak instead of leave. Of course it seemed as if Zak had instigated, although Esme wasn't sure about that because she didn't speak nor did she understand any Russian with the exception of one or two badly pronounced words. With the fight happening, Esme was trying to think of a way to get Charlie away from Zak but she was still struggling to hold Enzo up. As if on cue, several professors came running down the hallway and made quick work of breaking the fight up. Enzo was taken from Esme and Mich and Esme wanted to go see if Charlie was alright, but before she really got a chance to get near enough to talk to him she and Mich were ushered away by the professors who insisted that they should head to class. Despite her obvious thoughts that she should see if Charlie was okay, Esme knew the professors could take care of this so she gave into their demands and headed in the direction of class.

Making her way downstairs she noticed that almost everyone seemed to be discussing the fight that had just happened, the news spreading like wildfire. By dinner tonight the entire school would probably know about the fight, although knowing the students of Westburg they would have made up some 'interesting' reason as to why the fight occured and the story would have gotten so distorted that the real reasoning would cease to exist, but by tomorrow afternoon the fight was probably bound to be forgotten. That was how the chain of gossip at Westburg usually went. A certain topic would be talked about until extinction, beaten like a dead horse, then pretty much everyone forgot.

Arriving downstairs Esme mimicked the other students, casting a drying charm on her clothes and then exiting the school, beginning the trek to the greenhouses. She'd been so preoccupied with thoughts about the fight and why Zak would do something like that to Enzo that she hadn't really succeeded in performing the drying charm properly. Esme knew Enzo, he was really nice and he wouldn't do anything to make anyone mad - at least it didn't seem like it, so what was Zak's issue? Because of her lack of an effective drying charm, by time Esme arrived at the Greenhouse her clothes were damp. Frustrated, she cast a charm to dry her clothes off, but this charm took several different times before she succeeded. Esme was typically really good at charms, but when she was distracted and focusing on other things obviously she was presented with some difficulty.
                                                User Image

Esme had not been involved in the fight, but despite her lack of involvement the female found herself unable to stop thinking about it throughout Herbology. Professor Devereux gave a lecture on flesh - eating trees which Esme would normally have been interested in, however instead she found herself struggling to take notes as she glanced around the greenhouse, trying to see if Charlie, Enzo, or even Zak had come to class. Eventually Charlie and Enzo showed up, which earned a sigh of relief from Esme but she was still worried about their condition. She decided that after class was over she would go talk to them, making sure they were alright - and then, if they wanted to talk about it, ask why the fight had started in the first place.

Professor Devereux lecture finally drew to a close and the female dismissed her students. Esme collected her things and rose from her seat, heading to the door. She noted that the weather was still disgusting outside, it didn't seem like it was going to let up anytime soon. Esme pitied all those that had to attend quidditch practice later today, Esme knew how miserable it was to attempt to fly in the rain. On her way out of the greenhouses Esme didn't see Charlie anywhere, Esme figuring that he'd probably returned to his room or something like that. Scanning the crowds of students trudging through the rain, Esme did notice Enzo standing near Cameron. Without much thought on the matter, Esme approached Enzo with intentions of checking on his condition. "Enzo! Thank goodness you're okay,"
Esme immediately exclaimed, because she had been worrying about both Enzo and Charlie for the entirety of Herbology. "What happened? Why did that jerk hit you? You didn't say anything bad, did you?" She inquired curiously. She was almost positive that Enzo hadn't said anything, he didn't exactly seem like the sort to instigate - at least he hadn't seemed like that in the entire time Esme had known him. Esme had decided to assume that it was Zak who had caused the fight, that was the option that was the most likely.

Realizing that, maybe, it would be a good idea to talk about something other than the fight from earlier - because fighting wasn't exactly the most pleasant topic to be discussed, Esme tried to change the subject. "The lecture in Herbology was interesting, I didn't know there was such a thing as flesh eating trees,"
She exclaimed with a light hearted laugh, managing to sound like a ditz. That wasn't true, Esme had known about flesh eating trees. In fact, she'd read a good deal about them a couple years beforehand when she'd been studying for her OWLs. Esme was by no means stupid, although sometimes (like now) it seemed like she deliberately tried to make herself seem as if she was.

Just the thought of being able to dance again to relieve all her stress made Elisa’s day so much better. She had to admit that she thought her day would be terrible with all the preparations for the ball she still had to take care of. However, after spending that time with Jeremy before first class, her spirits were lifted entirely off the ground. She ignored the uncertainty in her stomach about what she was feeling in relation to Jeremy. He is her best friend first and foremost and she wasn’t going to let some uncertain feelings get in the way of that friendship. She really didn’t want to lose him again. Besides, he couldn’t possibly be interested in her like that. Her reputation in itself already made her completely NOT his type.

To keep her mind from such depressing thoughts, in an attempt to make sure that her day continued to be a good one, Elisa thought about the dance lesson she and Noah were going to give Eva soon. A part of her wanted to keep the lesson super short just so that she can have some private time with Noah afterwards before she had to go to the meeting at lunch. Suddenly, the thought of having alone time with Noah sounded just amazing. She hadn’t had some quality time with him, both as a best friend and as a lover, in a long time. And she had to admit to herself that seeing him soften up the way he had around Kim made her a bit jealous. Of course, she understood that the two were just friends, but Noah doesn’t typically act like that around her. Was there something more going on between those two earlier that Elisa knew nothing about? It was definitely something that she was going to ask Kim later if they ever get the chance to hang out. She’ll just remember to not mention that she and Noah are sleeping together; no one really knows that bit of information.

She must have not walked that far away from Jeremy because he suddenly called out to her. Elisa turned around and watched as her best friend ran over to her and moved to stand in her way of the music room. Confused, her head cocked to the side because he wasn’t saying anything. However, she was trying to read his expression to understand what he could possibly be thinking. Just as she thought she had an idea, he made a surprising move. Eyes widened with shock as time seemed to come to a complete stop. This moment was definitely not like before when she accidentally missed kissing Jeremy’s cheek. This moment was completely different, indeed. Her body seemed to immobilize the second she noticed that he was coming closer to her. It was as if her body had completely shut down any kind of movement that would make her take a step back or make him stop whatever he was about to do.

It took her a couple seconds to realize what was going on. It was an overwhelming roller coaster of emotions that flowed all over her bloodstream that made her mind think of multiple things at once. This was actually an odd reaction to Elisa because she was master at these kinds of situations. And for the first time since her first time, she had no idea how to react while kissing a guy. The first thing that she was thinking about was whether or not she was standing correctly. Next, she wondered where her hands should go. After that, she questioned whether she was doing it right. Then finally, her mind was raging over whether this was really happening; was she really kissing Jeremy? There was no doubt about it that Elisa was freaking out over this. Her eyes had widened to the size of golf balls for only God knows how long. This was definitely a completely different experience for her. Not even her first kiss back at Mahoutokoro during her fourth year was as emotionally intense as this. She was happy, confused, and frightened all at once. But most of all, she couldn’t help the thought that she was actually enjoying this. It was why her eyes immediately shut lightly and her eyes slid up to his forearm. How could kissing her best friend feel this…right?

Suddenly, the world seemed to be moving at a regular pace again when Jeremy pulled away with a look almost as shocked as she was feeling. He must have not realized what he was doing until too late. Before she could say anything to reassure him that everything was okay, he slurred a sentence together and rushed out of there to the direction that was obviously the library. A part of her wanted to follow after him and pull him into a kiss again. But then the other, more dominant, part of her felt like a frightened sick puppy wanting to run away from the situation as quickly as she could. Elisa stood still on the spot for a long time, turning her head to watch Jeremy walk away until he turned a corner and disappeared. She didn’t realize it, but her fingers traced around her full lips. She could still feel the lingering gentle pressure of his lips on hers. A blink later, Elisa composed herself and walked in the direction of the music room.

The music room wasn’t just a music room. In fact, it was so big that anyone could easily move the instruments to one side and use the hardwood floor as a dance floor. It did help that there was actually a mirror that covered an entire wall of the room. Maybe the headmistress created the room like that on purpose. With a sigh, Elisa closed the door behind her and walked over to the mirror. She placed her backpack on the floor then pulled out her laptop and went to her playlist. She must have been early because neither Noah nor Eva was around. It didn’t matter anyway. She wanted some time alone to calm herself down. The walk to the music room had her thinking about Jeremy and Jeremy alone. And each time his face came into clear view in her mind, her heart raced painfully in her chest and her palms started to sweat. She couldn’t understand these symptoms and her feelings. After all, Jeremy was just her best friend. But if that was so, then why did he kiss her?

Thinking of Jeremy was obviously upsetting her now because she was starting to fear that things would get awkward between the two. And the ball! They were going together! Taking off her scarf and tossing it to the side, Elisa waved her wand to magically make the music blast all around her. She started to stretch her muscles out, closing her eyes while she allowed the upbeat music to give her inspiration. Once she felt entirely relaxed, Elisa opened her eyes, stared at her reflection in the mirror and then started to dance. She knew she was good at dancing; hell she was even better than her older sister. It was why she was confident in watching herself dance. She didn’t need to think that people weren’t watching; she wanted them to watch her. It was during her dancing that she finally felt at peace. The only thoughts she had were to keep moving…and also about the lap dance she wanted to give Noah later. Sex with him did sound nice. At least then she knew what feelings she had for the guy compared to the emotional roller coaster she was feeling with Jeremy. That kiss was really screwing with her head, even if she really enjoyed it and wanted to do it again.

"Why, sure-- come right in." as Charlie sat up and looked at his family friend, Jackie. He was relaxing on his bed, thinking about how his jaw didn't hurt too much when she had barged into his room, barely knocking first and suddenly asked if he was a street fighter. He chuckled at the comment. "I was hoping you'd see me in the newspaper first, becoming a big champion fighter and then I would break the news to you." Jackie was a little firecracker, he knew that. They had been friends for a long time, even if Jackie hadn't attended his school. He knew her by her family and that both his and her dad, were good friends in the business. Which of course, led the entire to meet and with that, he and Jackie met and hit it off. As friends, of course.

He wasn't interested in her like that. Even if he admitted that she was rather flawless looking and she had a cute smile to her dynamic personality. He bonded with her instantly and enjoyed her company. Jackie was outgoing and a little rebellious but he liked her for that. She was practically like his little sister. Someone who he could trust and say what was on his mind, well, when he wanted to. She was pretty as well, looking like a sex magnet which could of caught anyone's attention but.. well, no. She wasn't like his little sister. When his little sister came close to him, he wasn't uncomfortable. With Jackie, he was. It was a little awkward but he knew, Jackie didn't care. She was being a good friend who was looking out for him.

He sat on the edge of his bed, making room for Jackie to sit. He wasn't willing to sit still so she could inspect his bruise. He thought of it like it was no big deal. The bruise would be less noticeable tomorrow, recalling what Enzo had told him. He heard her excuse herself for barging in and ask if 'that russian freak' or Zak punched him, he nodded and shrugged. "It's not a first," as he commented and paused, then answered her next question. "He's not a freak, he's just a jerk." He looked up at Jackie, with her eyebrow raising and let out a sigh, deciding to tell what basically went on. "I was defending Enzo, that was it. He punched Enzo's nose, all because he didn't like hugs. I mean, who does that? I saw what happened, rushed to Enzo's side to see if he was okay and then Zak, said something that pissed me off and then.. it happened."

He didn't feel all too guilty that he punched the arrogant jerk it was just he felt guilty that he couldn't have ignored the comment and walked away. He was a better person on top of all that. "You know that I would never be willing to fight or hit anyone." as he looked up at her, hoping she'd believe him. He wasn't a violent type of guy, at all. Charlie gave another chuckle when he heard Jackie ask if he wanted her to call one of 'fan girls' to come and kiss his bruise. Why did everyone assume that there were tons of girls chasing after him and loved him? It was absurd. He knew it wasn't true. "Hilarious, very funny." He shook his head and grinned. "Where were you today all morning, anyway? I was wondering when I'd see you."

Chaz’s mind stayed on trying to figure out how to maneuver through the library silently enough during the morning hours to implement his plan of action while Amon talked to MK before he chuckled slightly and flipped his middle finger up at Amon before sticking another forkful of food into his mouth. Leave it to Amon to say something that would irritate the hell out of him, but make him laugh at the same time. “Shut up a**,” he retaliated but chuckled again. It really wouldn’t be too hard to make it snow, and detention was something he had and could handle without his parents bugging the hell out of him about acting like a decent human being while he was on campus. “Day of the ball? Maybe we can get Charlie in too?” he mused softly, gazing every which way about the dining hall. ”Speaking of the ball, who are you gonna take?” He was genuinely curious, since they rolled in the same circle and he didn’t want to step on any toes. His first bet was probably going to be Eli, and he couldn’t think of someone right off-hand that would compete with him. “s**t, I forgot to get my shirt. I’ll talk to you later,” Chaz said suddenly before he stood up with a small smile at Amon and then walked out of the dining hall. He could potentially just get his shirt from Eli later that night, but he didn’t want to have to deal with the bundles of losers that hung out around her and hoped she would look their way.
                  -
******** herbology. Chaz peered outside of his window and shook his head as he watched the rain as it feel in steady sheets, making him want to curl up and just go back to sleep. He hated herbology and being in rain, therefore, the two shouldn’t mix. Chax slid off of his bed before walking out of his room and towards the library, pondering over his prank again. They could potentially make the snow come from the ceiling so that it wouldn’t ruin the books, or the could just forget about the books like he wanted to and just wreak havoc everywhere in the library and take whatever consequences came at them, but the librarian b***h already hated him and probably wouldn’t let him in the first place. That would have to change; he had s**t to get done. Too zoned out to pay attention to what was in front of him, he crashed into a soft body, making his eyes widen almost comically as his hands went to steady the other body before he looked down into the chocolate brown eyes of none other than Elvira, someone he would gladly learn Spanish for. ”You’re fine sweetheart, you didn’t have to run into me to get my attention.” he said with a cocky grin before he leaned down and grabbed the remaining books she’d dropped and handed them to her. Stronger? Nah, she was just light.

”Maybe. Sorry for knocking into you, make sure next time you keep your pretty little head out of the clouds,” he said with another grin before he grimaced at her request. ”I’ll give it some thought.” he said and nodded in goodbye once she started to walk off, his eyes glued to the sensual way her hips moved while she did so. One female that he wanted in his bed and would get before the school year was over, even if she had turned him down previously. He blinked slightly before he continued the way he came, realizing that she was going to the same way he was, not that he was going to do anything about that. He was used to females coming to him, not the other way around. If she wanted to talk, she would find a way. Upon entering the library, a harsh glare from the librarian was sent his way, and Chaz just smiled charmingly before he sidled up to the desk. ”Morning, and might I say you look just lovely today? That puce blouse really compliments your complexion,” he said, attempting to trickle insults into him sucking up so that she wouldn’t suspect anything uncouth.

”What do you want Ewing? Why can’t you be more like your doll of a sister and not make me want to choke on air every time I see you?” [******** you too, Chaz just continued to smile before he shrugged, acting like her comment hadn’t bothered him. ”Because then life would be too easy dear. I need a book on snow my fair lady,” he said, continuing to maintain his grin while he ignored her skeptical look. ”Snow? Are you five? We have books on the composition of snow, if that’s what you mean.” ”That’s perfect, just perfect.” he said before ambling off in the direction she pointed in and quickly scanning the spines for something that would help them with the prank, finding something almost instantly. He grabbed the book and went towards the back of the library and sat down to read, trying not to show his horror while doing so.
                  -
Chaz had just finished the last chapter when people began to trickle in from the first class. He closed the book and put it back before he walked out of the library, inwardly fuming. That had been a waste of time – nothing in that book could help them. Then again, it certainly beat being outside in the forsaken rain. As he turned the corner, a rush of girls surged passed him, squealing and exclaiming about a fight, and something to do with Russian. The only people he knew that spoke Russian were Zak and Eva, so perhaps they’d gotten into a fight? That was highly unlikely, he hadn’t ever seen them speak to each other, which really didn’t mean anything since he didn’t care to watch them. As he continued down the corridors to see if he could find Eli, more and more garbled murmurs about fighting reached his ears, this time dealing with Enzo and Charlie. Were Charlie and Enzo fighting? That didn’t seem right, Charlie was one of his mates and he wouldn’t hurt someone like Enzo, as annoying and infuriating as he was. Somehow the two of them were friends, which he didn’t and wouldn’t ever understand. ”Chaz, did you hear?” Finally, someone was going to tell him something worthwhile. He let out a soft sigh of relief while he shook his head, quickly getting information of the little spat that had gone on during Herbology. ”Enzo got punched in the face by Zak, who got punched by Charlie, who then got punched in the face by Zak? Damn, everything good happens when I skip class…” he said and sighed, leaving his informant to continue on his mission to find Eli.

Knowing her, she would most likely be on her way to dance in the music room to relieve stress before she had to go plan things for the dance. He turned the corner, expecting to just set up a time to get his shirt back and slip in a hint about the ball, not at all prepared to see someone kissing her. Chaz stopped at the edge of the corner, feeling almost like a creep as he stood watching her kiss someone else, rage filling him almost immediately. He knew that she knew he slept with other people, and he knew she did too, but seeing her with someone else made him sick. He turned around and went opposite the way he came, trying to convince himself that he wasn’t running away like some scared little puppy. There were plenty of other girls he could ask to the ball, plenty of other girls that he could get to sleep with him. He didn’t need Eli – if she wanted some no named loser, so be it. ******** sucked for her.

Almost instantly his mind traveled to Elvira and their encounter from earlier and he smirked slightly. Now he could pursue someone else, he didn’t have a reputation of opening her legs for anything that had a d**k. Or, he could go and talk to Demi – she always had something to say to make him feel better, even if it did irritate the hell out of him. [******** this,” he growled before he walked out of the building altogether and out into the rain.

Enzo saw Cam's slip as he saw his nose. But he paid it no attention. Of course, his nose probably didn't look all that great. While it was no longer broken the bruising was still there. That would take a couple days to heal. "Ah, yes. Everything's fine now." Enzo chuckled a bit. "I doubt that anything could give me a bad a** look, Cam" He listened as Cam spoke about Mia. His friend really loved his little girl, and Enzo thought that they were the most adorable thing. He didn't have a daughter himself, but he did have a baby sister whom he loved dearly. They were actually around the same age at this point, Mia being nine months, not six as Enzo had thought. "Nine months? They grow up much too fast. Aria is nearly one as well. She's getting so big. I haven't seen her in a while though, I wish I could." His sister was back in Italy with his mother and father. Since he hadn't been back there since he'd come to Westburg, he hadn't seen anyone in his family since then either. Sometimes Enzo wished that he was back in Italy, but he was enjoying his time at Westburg as well. After all, it was an honor to be chosen among these other brilliant witches and wizards.

At first Enzo didn't know what Cam was talking about, but then he saw Anaily and it clicked. Cam wanted to ask her to the dance, no doubt. He knew that he had been crushing on her. Enzo grinned widely at his friend and nodded. "Of course, I will! Absolutely. Maybe you could help me later..." Enzo had been trying to muster up the courage to ask Ce-Ce for a while now. Even before he'd heard about the dance he'd been trying to figure out how to ask her on a date of some kind. Enzo was not one who was very good with women, he'd never had a girlfriend. Hell, he still hadn't had his first kiss. He was a virgin in the purest sense of the word. He'd never even touched a girl other than in a hug. Ce-Ce was his best friend and that was the problem. There was no way that he thought of him in that way, and he knew it. Enzo wanted to do something about that but he had no idea how. He had no idea what to do and he needed help from someone that might know more about women and dating. He had been going to talk to Charlie about the whole ordeal but he wasn't around at the moment and Enzo didn't want to wait any longer. Cam, he could talk to Cam. After he did his own thing.

Enzo let Cam put his arm around his shoulder and lead him over to where Anaily was. "Hello, Ana." Enzo didn't intervene with anything that Cam was doing. He didn't speak after that, letting Cam just talk to her. He had no idea what Cam's plan was but he was sure that it would be something good since Eli helped him out with it. When Cam looked back at him he gave an encouraging look. Enzo had never seen Cam this nervous before. Somehow Enzo had thought that Cam would be quite the ladies man. After all, he was a rather good looking guy, certainly more so than Enzo was. When he saw what Cam was doing, he grinned. It was adorable. Ask a girl out using a baby, that was good. And Mia looked so adorable in the picture. Enzo wondered who had knitted the little outfit that she was wearing. Eli was a genius, maybe Enzo would have to ask her for help himself. There was no way that Anaily could say no to that. Who could possibly say no to that? If not for how cute Mia was, for how much time and planning it must have taken to put that all together.

As Cam looked back over at him Enzo gave him a smile and a slight nod. Right after that he heard a voice from behind him. "Enzo! Thank goodness you're okay," Enzo turned his head to see Essie rushing up to him. As she came up he gave her a hug. "Hey, Essie. Yes, I'm fine, thank you for your help before." Essie had been helping him while he was disoriented after the punch. She was one of the reasons he never fell over and he didn't hurt himself any further. "I'm not quite sure actually. I said nothing. He was standing there with Eva so I went up and greeted them and hugged her and then I hugged him..." Enzo thought for a moment, recalling the memory. He couldn't quite remember when the hit came. "...I suppose that's when he hit me." Enzo gave Essie a smile, showing her that he was fine now. He still didn't really understand why Zak had punched him, but he didn't want to hate the guy. It was probably just a big misunderstanding. Enzo wanted to believe that he hadn't meant it, that there had been some kind of mistake. He was a little glad of the topic change. "Oh, yes. They're rather dangerous." Enzo looked back at Cam and Anaily, waiting for her answer as earnestly as Cam was. He wanted to see his friend's plan succeed.

"I make you nervous?" Noah had asked. Kim nodded with a gulp. She became quiet after her little rambling session and instead, she looked up at him as he spoke. When Noah leaned forward just slightly, Kim thought he was about to kiss her! Well, he did, but instead of kissing her lips as she had hoped for, he kissed her on the cheek. What a tease, Kim thought to herself. He had insisted that there was nothing to be embarassed about, but if only he knew just how she felt about him. It was hard to talk to someone that you were just so fond of. It's like everything you did or said was being examined closely under a giant magnifying glass. Glancing up at Noah after his little small peck on her cheek, Kim felt herself blush hard. When Noah finally suggested that they go back inside, Kim was relieved to be able to escape this scene. Maybe the redness in her cheeks would finally fade and she would finally stop looking like a tomato. "That would be a good idea," Kim agreed, smiling as Noah put his arm around her. Kim smiled to herself and made a mental note that she liked the feeling of his arm around her. Despite the fact that sometimes she got nervous around Noah, she always felt a little safer with him somehow.

                                                          T I M E S K I P!

In Herbology that day they learned about flesh eating trees. Kim took notes like she always day, but even though it was an interesting topic, she wondered why on Earth they would ever need flesh eating trees. Kim had taken a seat in the front like she always did. She was the typoe of person who liked to be on top of her studies. Herbology was always an interesting class even though it wasn't one of Kim's favorite subjects. Maybe it was just because Professor Deveraux was the one teaching. The woman was a charmer and always had a way to make class fun. Glancing over her shoulder, Kim caught sight of her friend Eli. She cursed beneath her breath. Why did Eli have to be so far away? She had so much to tell Eli! Well, she supposed she would just have to tell Eli later.

After what seemed to be an eternity, class was finally over. Kim grabbed her bag and started to put her books away when one of her classmates touched her arm and asked her if she had heard what happened to Enzo? It was quite obvious that Kim hadn't heard of the small brawl earlier on that day since she stood there looking confused. Once she knew though, a very concerned expression spread across her face. Enzo was one of her good friends as well as her potions partner. Although he had to deal with her blowing things up sometimes, he still remained her friend even when she had nearly burned off her eyebrows. Leaving class, Kim looked around until she found Enzo. He was with Esme and Cam and Ana. Hurrying towards him, Kim touched Enzo by the arm. "Potions partner! Are you okay?" Kim asked. "Maybe I can get you a potion or something...it can't be that hard to brew something that will help the swelling go down." Kim bit her bottom lip, trying to examine Enzo and make sure that he wasn't cut elsewhere. However, it seemed like there was a good deal of people expressiong their concerns for Enzo. Still, it didn't hurt to make sure that someone was alright. Enzo was probably one of the nicest guys Kim had met at Westburg.

Now that she actually had a chance to breathe and to nod at Esme and greet Cam and Ana, Kim realized she must have stumbled upon some sort of scheme...It seemed like Cam was asking Ana to the ball! Kim squealed and clasped her hands over her mouth. Turning to Enzo she made a face. "Oh no," she said. "Did I just squeal out loud?" Furrowing her brows, Kim crinkled her nose. That squeal had meant to stay in her head, but she was never successful at trying to keep things in her own mind. She always ended up bursting out at the most random moments. Turning her attention to Ana, Kim's eyes lit up with excitement. Surely her friend will have to say yes to such an adorable picture.

I'll take you up on that offer, Chris.” she replied to his suggestion they hang out after class. Chris eventually had somehow found a way to persuade Robbie not to miss Herbology class, he had promised to keep her from getting dirty. He piggybacked her to the greenhouse, and like he promised she didn't get wet nor did she get a spec of mud on her. She was thankful, because if she had gotten mud on her shoes she would have thrown a complete tantrum.

Robbie was creeped out entirely by the flesh eating trees Professor Devereux showed the class, they were terrifying–at least that's what Robbie thought. Some of the other students were fascinated by them. Robbie hated to admit it, but they were kind of cool, but she would never want to be by a flesh-eating tree ever again in her entire life and she planned to keep that promise. After class Robbie gathered her books and left the greenhouse, it was still pouring rain outside, so Robbie casted a drying charm, with ease, on herself to make sure that she had no possibility of getting wet.

Once she was inside, Robbie immediately headed back to her dorm room. She found her cat Honey stretched across her bed, “Honey, I'm home!” she greeted the cat happily, who immediately sprung up and trotted her to Robbie to welcome her back from class. Robbie sat her bag down on the floor to enable herself to pick up joyous cat. Honey proceeded to lick Robbie's face, “I missed her you too!” she said excitedly with a giggle. “So, I should tell you about Herbology.” she began her daily run down of class with her cat. Robbie didn't think it was odd at all, her cat was her best friend. She knew her cat knew absolutely nothing she was saying, but had an open ear. “There were these really weird flesh-eating trees. They were huge! I couldn't really look at them, they were terrifying, and I had the feeling if I looked I would become their prey. Even I kind of already was. But, you know what I mean, Honey.” Robbie looked down at her cat, who looked like she was attentively listening to her story about class. Robbie smiled at her cat, “You don't want to hear this, do you?” she asked. The cat responded by rubbing it's body against Robbie's leg. “I thought so.” she said with a bit of disappointment.

Honey, I am going out to the library. Or maybe I'm going to wander around the halls for a bit. But I will be back later.” she said with a smile and left her dorm.

Robbie did as she said she was going to do, she wandered around the halls of Westburg, not really aiming to do much. Then she heard a group of girls talking a bit louder than they really should be. She heard Charlie's name and dismissed it, but then she heard 'punch' and became more interested in their conversation. “Wait. What happened?” she yelled over to them. All the girls went silent and turned to Robbie. "We would expect Charlie's girlfriend to know what happened to him!" one girl shouted at her. A frown came across Robbie's face, "All I would like to know it was happened. I don't stalk Charlie like you do." Robbie said with a smirk. "Oh, and I'm not his girlfriend." she added in quickly. Robbie heard a few low grunts at her last comment, then some one spoke up. "Charlie and Zak got into a fight!" Robbie raised an eyebrow at this, she knew Charlie wasn't a fighting type of guy. But then again, he can do some pretty drastic things. "Thanks." she said as she walked away, slightly confused by what she just heard. Her best bet was to go to Charlie's dorm and see what's up.

Once Robbie reached Charlie's dorm she knocked a couple times then opened up the door. "Hey, I heard you got into a bit of a tussle. You okay?" Charlie said he was fine, but he had pain in his jaw. Robbie rolled her eyes, slightly disappointed in the fact that he would get into a fight. Out of the corner of her eye, Robbie noticed someone else in the room. She looked over to see it was Jackie. "Oh, hey there." she greeted her, feeling a bad that she didn't noticed her before. Robbie then looked back over to Charlie, "You know, I would at least like to know why you and Zak had to get physical." Robbie was disappointed in Charlie, until he told her why he was in the fight with Zak. Robbie gasped, "What?" was all she could manage to say. She never could imagine Zak punching Lorenzo. Enzo was also a nice guy, like Charlie, and he was a huge teddy bear. Robbie raised her hands, signaling Charlie that she was done with the conversation. She didn't feel like talking about it anymore. Robbie waved goodbye and closed Charlie's dorm door.

Robbie continued her stroll through the halls of the school. Robbie was able to dismiss thought of the fight to the back of her mind, it was stupid in general, Enzo certainly didn't need to punched. And Zak sure had some explaining to do once Robbie got her hands on him.

The halls were not extremely busy surprisingly since class had recently let out. Robbie then spotted someone from afar, she got a bit closer and saw that it was Amon. “Hey Amon!” she called out to him, with a polite wave. Robbie then continued her walk, getting closer and closer to her friend.

Chaz was way ahead of Amon as far as prank planning went. He was already getting dates and times set up. Amon hadn't even started to think about things like that. The farthest he'd gotten was the number of people they would need. Amon nodded once when Chaz asked about bringing Charlie in. Amon wasn't close friends with Charlie, but he knew him since they were both from Durmstrang. And if they were going to pull it off they would need more people in on it. "Yeah, sure. It's a pretty big prank. The more the merrier." The day of the ball would be fine. Everyone would be in the dance, distracted. It would be a perfect time to pull it off. Amon was caught off guard when Chaz asked him who he was going to take to the ball. He hadn't even thought about that at all. He hadn't been planning on asking someone to the ball, on taking someone to the ball. He had no idea who he could take to the ball, but he couldn't tell Chaz that. He'd have to come up with someone. Amon wasn't big on dancing or ball's and the like, but everyone would be going and the couples would be everywhere. So, he couldn't go alone.

Before Amon even had time to think of some sort of answer to Chaz's question he was off and out of the dining hall. "Alright, later." Amon was partially relieved. He really didn't know who he was going to ask to the ball, if anyone. He really couldn't think of anyone in particular, not at the moment anyway. Amon still had some time to think about it, but not much. Soon everyone would be getting into date mode, asking one another, and by then whoever he wanted to ask would already have a date. So, he had better think of who he wanted to ask before then. Amon finished up his meager breakfast and left the dining hall. Herbology. Fun. Just what he wanted to be doing.

By the time herbology was over, Amon was ready to fall asleep. The only interesting thing that had happened was Charlie and Enzo walking in looking like they'd both run straight into a wall. Amon was friendly with Charlie, but they weren't best friends. He didn't know him that well, but they were civil to each other and sometimes pulled pranks together. Enzo...he didn't know anything about the kid other than he gave hugs to everyone. Seemed a little too flamboyant for Amon's tastes. Amon wasn't a hugger. He hadn't really cared what had actually happened to the two of them but some kid told them anyway. When he said that Zak was the cause, Amon got slightly worried. What had happened that made Zak start a fight? Amon was good friends with Zak and he knew that Zak was slow to open up to anyone. He never really lashed out though. He made a mental note to talk to his friend later and ask him about it. The rest of the period had been boring. Sure, flesh eating trees weren't something you heard about every day, but Amon wasn't as interested as the other students. He could have cared less about flesh eating trees. He would probably never care about flesh eating trees unless one was actually eating him.

It was a relief when herbology ended. Amon gathered up his books and left the classroom. He didn't want to go back to his room straight away, but he decided to anyway. He put his books away and sat down on his bed. Who would he be taking to the ball? That was the question that he'd have to answer soon. Amon thought about all the different girls in the school. Some he could cross off the list straight away due to their hatred of him or the fact that he barely knew them. He went through the list in his head again. There were some girls that he was friends with that he really liked as friends but didn't like that much. So after a few more sweeps he was left with a reasonable number of candidates, or so he thought. Amon figured if he could narrow it down to two it wouldn't take him too much longer to come up with who he was actually going to ask. Amon wasn't very good in the relationship department. He'd dated girls before, but his relationships had never lasted too long. Amon got up from his bed and left the room. He needed to walk around for a bit. He went through the hallways, thinking about each girl and if he really liked them. Maybe he was thinking about it too much. After a few more minutes Amon came down to two: Sonya or Kat.

Amon looked up as he heard his name. It was Robbie. Amon smiled and waved back. He continued walking towards her. It was a little bit weird seeing Robbie after just considering asking her to the ball. She had been one of the final girls he had been thinking about. But he and Robbie were just friends, Amon knew that. "Hey. So, gearing up for the ball? Do you know who you're going with yet?" Just because he wasn't going to ask her didn't mean he wasn't curious about who she was going with.

Anaily smiled at Enzo. He was always so friendly and nice to everyone. That was one of the things she loved about him. "I am good as well. So far today has been a wonderful day!" she chimed happily as she walked next to him. She couldn’t stop thinking about what Eli had said earlier. It was so obvious that she was walking about Cameron. One because he was the only student with a child, and two because well he was one of the best eye candy that Ana had ever seen. Looking out the window she wondered if Eli would be able to pull this off. Cam was pretty attached to his lovely little Mia, and didn’t seem to pay attention too much else. She had tried more then once to get his attention, but she wasn’t sure if it was working or now.

She was pulled back into the real world by Enzo asking if they would have class in the garden. She looked outside and shook her head. "I doubt they would give us the day off." she said chuckling. The next thing that she knew Eva and Zak were in the hallway with them. She smiled at both of them, not being all that close with either of them. She was taken completely off guard when all of a sudden Zak was punching Enzo, and it was mere seconds before Charlie was there fighting with Zak. She was kind of in the middle, unsure what to do. Like the other girls she rushed to Enzo’s side, and when the teachers came she asked Charlie how he was feeling before he was off to the nurses office with Enzo. She regretted telling Enzo that it had been a wonderful day; maybe she jinxed the day and caused the whole fight to happen. She would have to check up on him later.

Class was interesting, well as interesting as Herbology could get. She never really liked the class. Maybe it was because she was horrible in it, or maybe she was horrible in it because she didn’t like the class. Either way learning about flesh eating trees was not on the top of her to do list. The only good part of the class was Eli, well and Eli and Jeremy really. She was so excited for her friend. The two parted ways when Eli ran of with Jeremy, she gave Jeremy a wink before Eli and him ran off. They were a cute couple.

She casting a drying charm on herself and walking inside, roaming the hallways unsure of what to do. Suddenly she heard Cameron call out for her, her heart skipping a beat as she turned. She smiled at him, kissing him on the check and then doing the same to Enzo. She could still see that Enzo had taken a beating, but before she could ask him how he was feeling Cam was asking if she wanted to study with him later. "Of course I’ll study with you later." she said with a smile. For one she loved studying, and then there was the fact that she liked Cam. The two things together were perfect. She saw him look from her to Enzo and she raised one eyebrow. What was going on.

When he said that Mia turned nine months her eyes widen. How could she forget! "Oh Cam I totally forgot! I bet she’s even more beautiful. She’s going to be a heartbreaker.“ she said with a smile. When Cam handed her his phone she took it excitedly, eager to see the beautiful little girl. She was so mesmerized with Mia’s adorable face that at first she didn’t realized that her onesie had words on. When she realized it her jaw could have hit the floor. She threw her arms around Cam’s neck. "Of course! I’d love to go with you.“ she said excitedly. Oh Eli had done it! She didn’t even realize that Esme and Kim had joined their group.

She looked at Kim and smiled brightly. She wanted to squeal with excitement as well, so she couldn’t blame Kim for doing so. "Don’t worry Kim, when dealing with Mia and Cam a sequel is very, very appropriate.“ She couldn't wait to see Eli and hug her so tight!

MK looked up at the pouring rain and frowned slightly. How were they going to have Herbology, and why would they have it outside in such dismal weather? It was bound to make people depressed, especially those like her who weren’t good at Herbology and wanted to get out of it as early as possible. Sighing softly, she turned around to meet Adryen’s chocolate brown gaze, her own green one widening in shock at the sudden closeness and delicious smell he emitted. When had he gotten behind her anyway? MK blinked slightly before she nodded with a smile at his comment, trying to brush off his presence like she would on any other day, but failing miserably. She cocked her head at him and took in another whiff of his scent, moving closer to him as if he was a magnet. ”It’s beautiful, but doesn’t it seem kind of depressing to have to sit out here while it’s pouring?” she questioned before shrugging slightly. Maybe it was just her. ”I…had to tell you something? Right, right. Uhm…” she trailed off before she caught her bottom lip in her teeth before her gaze went down to the saturated ground beneath them. What had she been trying to tell him?

Before he’d walked up and wrapped her in his scent and just over all cuteness she’d known why she was looking for him, but she’d lost her train of thought during the sudden impact of adorable. ”Did I give you any clues as to what I was going to say? I honestly I can’t remember,”
she finally said and rolled her gaze to look up at him before smiling sheepishly. ”Sorry Ren, I can’t remember.” she said, before her gaze went over to one of the rose bushes near them and her eyes lit up. ”I remember now! I was going to ask you if you were excited for the ball?” Balls weren’t something she liked going to, there were too many politics that came with wearing the elegant dress and getting dolled up for one night. One misstep and your dress could be ruined, or you could upset your date, or the whole night could just end up being a great catastrophe – especially if someone spiked the punch. She’d kindly asked her brother and his friends ( she would have to beg Amon later ) to stay clear of the punch so as not to make poor unfortunate souls like herself tipsy out of their minds, but he’d just laughed at her like she’d grown accustomed to over the years when asking him to not pull his endless pranks.

”Do you have anybody you want to bring to the ball Ren? Maybe Elvira? You two seem really close,”
she asked with a smile, pushing down the initial jealousy she felt towards Elvira. She got to spend time with Ren, it seemed like, everyday whereas she almost had to work for their private one on one conversations like they were having now. MK jumped slightly when arms wrapped around her torso and tipped her head back to see her personal teddy bear, Sam, giving her his usual morning hug. ”Good morning Sammy bear!” she returned cheerfully with a bright smile at him before she turned her attention back to Adryen. ”I apologize Ren, what were you saying?” she asked, before letting out a groan of distaste when Professor Devereux came waltzing through the garden. ”Once again, our conversation is cut short by Herbology. I’ll save you a seat at lunch though,” she said with a sunny smile before she went and sat near the back of the classroom, hoping and praying that she wouldn’t doze off during the lesson.

                      timeskip

It turned about to be physically impossible to fall asleep during a long and very important public service announcement about man eating trees, which made MK hate Herbology even more. If getting eaten by a tree was a real possibility, why would anyone want to go into that field? MK had sat in the back with wide eyes the whole time as Professor Devereux showed and explained examples of the decidedly uncouth plant, making MK shiver every time it made any movement at all. If that wasn’t enough to make you jump, Demi had gone ape crazy on the Professor, which had MK raising her eyebrows. She knew that the other female tended to get irritated a little easily, but at an authoritative figure? That seemed to be a little bit of a stretch, even for her. She gathered her stuff like the others around her when they were ( finally ) released from what she deemed hell was like and backed out of the greenhouse before anyone could tell her otherwise and swiftly walked into the castle, releasing her drying charm as soon as she did so, watching the other students walk around her as they hurried to get warmer too.

Finally content with her state of being, she walked towards the steps to her dorm, pausing when word about a fight got around to her. ”Fight? What fight?”
she asked a random passerby, raising her eyebrow at the shocking discovery. Enzo, Charlie, and Zak had gotten into a fight? Zak she wasn’t so surprised at, his every movement embodied danger in her mind, but sweet, huggable Enzo and adorable, lovable Charlie? How that even possible? ”Charlie and Enzo got into a fight? Whatever for?” she questioned, instantly getting a watered down version of the story. Enzo had hugged Zak, which seemed to entitle a punch in the face, which had retaliated with a punch to Zak’s face, and then another one thrown from Zak on Charlie? ”Wow, I hope they’re all okay and not too badly hurt,” she mumbled with a quick nod to her informant before she hurried to her dorm and put her books down before heading out to find Zak. While he did scare her in some ways, she couldn’t understand why he would punch someone just because they’d hugged him. Heaven forbid she ever tried to hug him now. Then again, if he was all bruised up, she would want to hug him and heal him, so maybe that wasn’t the best thing to do.

MK changed her angle and headed back towards the entrance, hoping to find someone that could assist her with ball planning, such as what dress she would wear, and if she would ever get a date. She let out a quiet squeak when Chaz brushed passed her and out into the storm, making her groan in disapproval. Not only would he get a cold, he would be grumpy for the rest of the day because he didn’t like being wet. She shook her head slightly before she went back up to the dorms to Aspen’s room, noticing that the door was open, but knocked anyway. ”Aspen, I assume that was your music that I heard down the hallway? It sounded beautiful,”
she said with a smile, wrinkling her nose in distaste once she took a step into her room. ”Whatever incense you’re burning in here isn’t a pleasant though,” she said and coughed softly, deciding to stay by the door frame.

It took quite an amount of will power for Demi to hold back a chuckle as Chris tilted his head. Though, his words allowed a small smile to slip through the cracks. Having grown up in a full household, she was forgotten quite a bit by family members. So, him saying that he wouldn't even think about ignoring her struck quite a chord. "I'll have to think about it." The lie slithered through her front teeth so gracefully it sounded like a true statement. To actually be truthful, though, she'd already forgiven him. He was a really good friend, but that didn't mean she couldn't make his mind do some flips every so often. Not only that, but she was quite interested in how he would make it up to her, even though there wasn't really a need. Although, it was rather difficult to ponder about such a thing while he was fiddling with her damp hair. She would give anything for him to keep playing with her locks. Demi liked having her hair played with, not tugged on. Most guys didn't seem to understand that, at all. The feeling put her into a sort of daze, as it often did. Then, Chris mentioned Gizmo and Demi almost immediately snapped out of it. "I try to stop by and visit her as often as I can, but lately that hasn't been a lot. Either I'm having to avoid Chaz so he doesn't try to jump in my pants or I've got something school related to do." At mentioning Chaz Demi rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue. She was starting to grow sick of him, mostly because of how he treated his sister, MK, but also because of how he somehow managed to sleep with her about three times. There wasn't even any sort of memory of sex with him in her mind.

Thinking of the sex-addict started to make her want to punch a wall, but that would make her break her hand. So, she started to try and think of something else to get her mind off him. Just as she was about to lose all hope of doing so, she spotted Mitexi slither on up to Chris and give him a note. Now, Demi didn't know Aspen personally, or anything of the sort, but she'd managed to get to know Mitexi a little thanks to brief encounters. Curious as to what the note said, Demi moved behind Chris and leaned over him, placing her hands on his shoulders. "What's it say," she asked before stopping herself. Thankfully, Chris didn't seem to hear and began talking. While listening she took a couple steps back from him to give each other a bit of personal space. The amount of space quickly decreased moments after it had been established. Demi was starting to like how Chris was acting. Sure, he'd been cuddly with her before but never this much. As the corners of her mouth curved upward in a smile, Demi wrapped her fingers around his long necklace and began to toy with it. "Alright, I'll tag along." Her smile grew a little bit bigger as she let out a short laugh. Taking a step back she gently tugged on Chris's necklace. "Come on, Daddy, let's go get our children." Any normal person around them wouldn't get the joke, but Demi knew that Chris would understand it perfectly.

After moving a little bit closer to where Aspen's room was located, which was a few rooms away from her own, Demi released Chris's necklace and walked a few paces ahead of him. Her hands were placed behind her back, fingers of each interlaced. Both eyes stared up at the ceiling with her head tilted up ever so slightly. For whatever reason, she began to think about the ball that was coming up. She didn't plan on going, but she figured that Chris probably would be. "The stupid ball is coming up soon, who do you plan on going with?" Once the question was out in the open, she spun around and began to walk backwards. While waiting for an answer, she tilted her head just as Chris had done earlier. "Are you scared I'm gonna drop in and make it living Hell for you? I don't even plan on going. So, don't worry about that." Her hands moved from behind her back to behind her neck, fingers interlaced and palms pressing against her neck. "Hey, I could even baby-sit Gizmo for you that night, if you want. Oh, I should also ask Aspen if she wants me to look after Mitexi then, too! That would certainly be a fun night, wouldn't it?" Demi's eyes went from looking at Chris to back at the ceiling in excitement and anticipation. Suddenly, the ceiling started looking farther away than it had moments ago. Only right before she hit the ground did she realize what was happening. The thing that hurt the most was her butt. "Damn," she shouted just seconds after falling. Despite the pain in her posterior, she pulled herself to her feet, using a wall as support. Using the wall as a prop once she was up, she used one hand to slowly rub her rump, letting out a small whine as she did so. Knowing Chris would more than likely be in shock, she turned to him. "I'm fine, just won't be able to sit down for a bit."
