Living every day

Mad Hatter smiled to herself as she nodded. "That's where you are wrong, C.C. Each of the tea drinks have a specific taste that differs from one another and I always make sure the Queen of Heart gets her favorite as always when she comes to visit, that is, unless she requests a different kind." she explained as the cups rotated around the table. "A simple milk lover as yourself would never understand."

C.C. sighed and continued drinking his milk, "That maybe so... but the queen always changes just to test you it seems..." he stood on his back legs like a human, "But then again, your a Hatter of many hats like a teacup of many colors."He smiled, "But answer me this, why call your self a mad hatter when all you do is drink tea?" he bagan to snicker, "You should be called...the Mad Tea Drinker!!!!" he started to burst into laughter, the trees moved as if they were laughing with him

Mad Hatter slammed the empty tea cup down, rumbling the table at the same time to bring silence. Luckily, nothing had broken or was even chipped. She cleared her throat for a moment before she settled down to speak. "Clearly, C.C... If you're only here to bother me, you may leave. I do not recall asking you to come here and annoy me like you seem to having no one else to bother." she spoke, surprisingly calm. She got up from her chair and gestured with her arm to the gate that leads elsewhere. "Go now."

The table where C.C. was on was now empty, C.C. is gone, but a strange voice echoed in the air, "My dear, I was never here, so how can you shoo away... the was never here?" an eerie laugh echoed and he continued, "But I must say, why get mad when everyone here is MAd?" A smile smile is visible in the distance, "But then again, your mad too!" the smile vanished as C.C. 's melody can be heard even into the gardens of both the Hatter and the Queen.

Mad Hatter remained silent and waited for his melody to end before moving again. Of course she knew she is mad... Everyone within Wonderland is mad. Even rare visitors. C.C. had no need to remind her. She's Mad Hatter, after all. Still, she remembers her true name, but she does not bother to have anyone call her that name anymore. It was troublesome anyways. She took a deep breath before continuing what she's doing: tea tasting and decorations. There was much to do anyways.

Ah, my dear, you have a story?

A pair walked through Wonderland, arm in arm, laughing as they went. One, a tall boy with sunny hair and chocolate eyes, looking down at his companion with a smile on his lips that almost outshone hers. The other was a small girl with equally sunny hair and chocolate coloured eyes, seeming telling the boy something that made his entire being light up with seeming joy. She finished her tale, and he laughed, before speaking in a soft voice, yet nevertheless a happy one, “Sister, my dear,” He stated, shaking his head in what appeared to be partial disbelief, “Your memory for rhymes always astounds me.” His sister laughed again, dimples forming in her cheeks as she stopped walking and wrapped her arms around her brother, and replied in a sing song voice, “Ah, but your memory for stories is always better Dee. I have rhythm and rhyme on my side to aid my memory, you must simply remember each single line, each single word. My skill is nothing in comparison to you own.”

Dee shook his head, but did not argue as they reached a gate, with the view beyond hidden by a rather large tree. The two stopped simultaneously, and turned to stare at each other, both as confused as their sibling. “Is this a place we know, Dee?” Asked the girl, golden eyebrows furrowing as she tried to bring back memories of this place she could not recall. Her brother seemed to ponder the idea for a moment, and then his face lit up as he obviously remembered where they were, “Why Dum, “ He replied, a grin on his face, “I do believe this is the residence of the Mad Hatter!” Dum clapped her hands, and quickly opened the gate and ran past the tree to look for the girl. Dee was not far behind her, although calmer, before asking, “Why, do you suppose she isn't in?” Before he spotted her at the same time as his younger sister, who promptly skipped across to the Hatter so as to enquire as to what she was doing.

Mad Hatter moved about, ordering each tables and chairs and dishes where they should be. There was plenty of time to be prepared before noon, but Mad Hatter always wanted to be prepared. The tarot card she had drawn earlier still remained on her mind. A surprise visitor? Could it mean a dreamer will be coming? Or perhaps a group that she has not seen in a while? She exhaled as she turned, taking notice of Dum... or was it Dee? Coming to her. What did the storytelling twins want now? Are they here to tell her another story? She walked about, curious.

“Mad Hatter!” Dum laughed, clapping her hands like the girl was song kind of shiny new toy. Dee was not far behind her, and as he did so Dum looked up at his face, and wrapped her arms around her big brother’s waist. “It’s such a long time since we have seen you.” Dee smiled, slightly calmer than his sister, but still obviously pleased nonetheless, “I don’t think we have seen each other since we recited ‘You Are Old, Father William’, have we?” The taller twin smiled, obviously no longer searching his memory for this fact, certain that he was correct. Dum looked up at the elder girl, and half reluctantly let go of her brother so as to enthusiastically embrace the Mad Hatter, and then let go just as quickly. The twins looked around themselves for a second, then at each other, and then at the Mad Hatter, “My,” exclaimed Dee, as though she had just realised something, “I do believe you haven’t had a tea party in a while! That is quite unlike you, Mad Hatter, pray tell, when do you plan on having another?” Dum, of course, was not as stupid as her name implied, and had spotted a blank invitation stolen by the wind but dropped nearby. She had realised the girl was having another tea party quite quickly, and since the twins simply adored both tea and the people that attended parties full of it, she simply knew she would have to convince the Mad Hatter to give them an invitation – it had been such a long time since they had heard a new story, and the Queen was always at the parties, and always such fun to be around!

((I'm afraid I need to leave now, as it is five am here, sorry. Feel free to tell the twins to clear off so you can talk to someone else! Sorry again!))

Mad Hatter looked at the siblings' behavior and noticed how energetic they were. "It's been a long time indeed." she spoke. She was quite surprised to receive a hug from Dum, and quite... glad that it was short. She fixed her top hat a little bit, remaining calm. "I am fixing for another tea party." she said. "Would you two care to have spare time in the afternoon to drop by? I believe your stories would be greatly appreciated then." she offered. That would mean she'd need plenty more tea than she has on the table at the moment. She loved how the twins seem to match her love for tea, but not as much. After all, it is Mad Hatter that loves tea the most in Wonderland. Tea parties were what she was known for best. And it did not seem like her to not have a tea party as Dum has mentioned.

Dum grinned happily, and leaned on her brother, looking half a though she was resting, and half as though she was hugging hum, just without her arms. Dee shook his head, slightly calmer than his sister but still happy, “Ah,” He grinned, brown eyes lighting up, “It would be an absolute pleasure to join your tea party this afternoon!” Dum laughed happily, and then leant off him, glancing around again, even twitchier than she was normally, “We suppose that would give us chance to tell more stories! And perhaps hear more, as we have not seen so many of your usual guests in such a long time. Pray, tell, is Her Majesty the Queen going to be joining us, as she often does?" Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum loved being around the Queen of Hearts, as she was –quite simply – amusing to them. She lost her temper so very often, and never seemed to find it within herself to go anywhere without having someone’s head chopped off. “I wonder if anyone will be losing their head today?” Dum pondered out loud, as though following her brother’s train of thought, “I do believe she has left it a while since her last beheading! You shall have to be careful her tea is perfect, shall you not?” The girl laughed, as her brother joined in too. Dee seemed to pause for thought for a second, causing his sister to look up at him in confusion, and furrow her eyebrows as she nudged him, prompting him to speak whatever may be on his mind. Dee simply shook his head, and replied, “I was simply wondering whether we shall have enough stories she hasn’t heard already, my twin. It would be an awful shame for either or both of us to lose our heads simply because she has heard our tales once too often.” Dum nodded solomly in agreement, and then the two seemed to forget this idea as though it was nothing, and Dee asked the Mad Hatter, “Perhaps there is a way we can be of use to you, rather than just talking and distracting you from your beloved tea, Mad Hatter?”

Mad Hatter lightly chuckled. "I have not heard yet if Her Majesty may be coming. Either she'll send Rabbit or someone else to send word." she said. After all, she did just send out invitations moments before she started preparing. There wasn't much to worry about her tea. It is always perfect, and she did her best not to seem insulted by Dum's question. She then thought of the tarot card from earlier. "Perhaps there is something you may do." she said, looking at the twins. "My hat has made me draw a tarot card for today and told me and Wonderland to expect a surprise visitor." she said. "Perhaps it might mean something more than just those within Wonderland?" she asked.

“Why,” Dum exclaimed, glancing up at her brother, “Do you mean a new dreamer may be arriving? How absolutely splendid!” Dum looked up at her brother, and repeated, as though he had not heard himself, “A new dreamer Dee! We shall be able to have new stories! This is quite fabulous!” Dee nodded in agreement with his sister, and turned to look at the Mad Hatter with quite the grin on his face, “Since her Majesty has not yet confirmed or denied that she will be attending this afternoon’s tea party, I suppose we have plenty of spare time now, perhaps?” Dum nodded in solemn agreement, although her eyes were still lit up at the excitement of possibly meeting someone new. Dee smiled, and then continued, “Well then, Mad Hatter, what do you suggest we do? Do you wish for us to search for this surprise visitor?” Dee asked half uncertainly, as though attempting to think how they could go about such a task, as Wonderland was quite big. Dum was back to being her usual hyper self at his side, laughing and clinging onto his arm like a child, happy that there may be someone new arriving who had not heard their stories before, and would hopefully have plenty of their own to tell.
It would be the first new story they had heard for quite a while, as there were not many beings that they had not already asked in Wonderland.

Mad Hatter nodded. "Perhaps there might be a dreamer coming." she agreed. It was just what she's thinking. The two of them... it would be fine if they found their visitor, right? "It would be of delight if the two of you could greet this dreamer. Perhaps that person might find their way here." She paused for a moment, thinking. "The Queen might want to chop off the person's head if she were to hear of someone entering without permission." she looked at them for a moment. "Of course there is plenty of time to be sure of our visitor to not wish to leave this place. I believe it would be best if all of us were in our area of preferences before the visitor comes. Don't raise your hopes now." she warned. Mad Hatter knows very well the twin would love to meet the new dreamer, but she also knew the queen might not like this type of information.

Dum looked like she was thinking about something, and then said simply, “Yes, the Queen may not like it, but I suppose as long as they do not do anything to anger her Majesty, hey may be able to get on her good side. Play games with her, that sort of thing.” She sighed happily, and then continued, “It’s quite easy to get on the Queen’s good side so long as you know how. Sadly, no one seems to. What a shame.” Dum finished off, shaking her head with what may have been disapproval, and what may have been disbelief. Dee nodded in agreement with both the Mad Hatter and his sister, before saying, “I shan’t raise my hopes either, for that always seems to end in bad luck, doesn’t it Dum?” He said, turning to his sister, who nodded quite firmly, as though she were some kind of expert on the matter, before looking as though she were pondering something. After a few minutes, she muttered, “I do hope they don’t lose their head before we hear their stories, as it’s been a long time since anyone new arrived. I’m quite bored of everyone, we need someone to spice up our lives. Perhaps the Queen will agree with us, and spare the Dreamer’s head simply for that purpose.”

Mad Hatter nodded. The twins knew exactly what they were saying and she understood them exactly as they have spoke. It has been a shame to lose so many people at once after the coronation of the Queen of Hearts. She had nothing against the previous King and neither does she hold anything negative towards the Queen. Just as long as she had her tea, she could oblige by the laws. "Let's just hope the visitor may be a smart person so as to pass through Wonderland. This world has much to offer and not a thing should be missed." she said, picking up a tea cup to taste. "Perhaps, like all of us, the Queen would have a riddle for the person to solve." she said. Each residents within always had a riddle or a story or two to share with someone. She looked after them after a sweet taste. "I bid you two good luck." she said.
