Zaiden J. Zakii & Mokumon
The Digidestined of Darkness HP: 5/5
Team Gamma
"And what do you think you'd ever say? I won't listen anyway. You don't know me, and I'll never be what you want me to be. And what do you think you'd understand? I'm a boy, no, I'm a man. You can't take me, and throw me away"
Zaiden smiled at Jasmine as she spoke about having the right Digimon. No Digimon would be better for him than his little Mokumon. Even if the little guy hadn't Digivolved yet despite having been in his care for over a year, the chestnut-haired boy didn't care one bit. What use was Digivolving anyway; he liked his partner just the way he was.
"Ah good, hopefully those Digimon get bored with most of the people having split already and take a hike. Maybe then we won't have to run; we'll just have to make Juggernaut work before they decide to come back." he said hopefully, looking over at Mokumon who now had his face plastered to Jasmine's screen. He began to laugh at the infant's antics; he'd always had unyielding curiosity. This had annoyed the cloudy Digimon's previous owner and got him dumped in the streets. Luckily for the little infant, Zaiden was on his way home from school when he witnessed it and promptly took the little guy home with him. The amber-eyed teen didn't mind the constant barrage of questions, having to yank valuables out of the little guys' mouth at least three times a day, nor did he mind putting up with the silly antics as the Digimon learned. "So...I think I'm ready; should we go now or wait?"
"But the shiny!" wailed Mokumon, which sent Zaiden into a fit of giggles at how serious the little Digimon sounded.
"I'm sure Jasmine will let you see the shiny later or something. We have to go Mokumon." Standing up, Zaiden made his way to the window and looked out; sure enough the tallest building near the center of the city was still intact, he assumed that was what Jasmine was referring to. He then quickly ducked down as a gang of Rookie level Digimon stormed by.
"And I want a moment to be real. Wanna touch things I don't feel. Wanna hold on and feel I belong. And how can the world want me to change? They're the ones that stay the same. They don't know me, Cause I'm not here."
