Ryuichi !?! - - - x x x x x

The apartment was quiet. Usually this meant one of two things: the resident was either out, or sleeping. In this case it was the latter, as evidenced by the gentle and somewhat melodious snoring from the bedroom. Only one man could make snoring sound pleasant to the ears - Ryuichi Sakuma.
The music legend's bedroom was a place that few dared to enter. The rest of the apartment was clean, organised. At least three times a week Ryuichi pulled his hair into a bandanna, donned a fetching yellow apron, and set to the task of putting away the contents of the dishwasher, picking up all magazines, DVDs, or music CDs from the floor and hoovering it thoroughly, and any other tasks around the house that needed doing. He could be surprisingly mature when he wanted to be - although due to his childish ways, he often dressed Kumagoro in an apron as well and tucked the rabbit under his arm whilst he worked.
But the bedroom was a different affair altogether. The bed covers were always messy, dumped in a heap at the foot of the bed. Discarded clothes littered the floor around what would be his washing basket, were it not home to an enormous teddy bear he'd won at a theme park a year ago. It was as unorganised as a teenager's room, and filled with youthful, fun gadjets and pictures. One one wall were posters of bands he liked, featuring Nittle Grasper, Bad Luck, and more recently Mystify. The backboard of his bed was covered in tiny purikura pictures featuring himself and his friends, pulling funny faces and cuddling kumagoro.

Ryuichi slept in the strangest position, his legs on his pillow and his torso half dangling off of the mattress. With each snore his body slid a little further away from the bed, until finally he slipped off entirely. Ryuichi landed with a thud on the floor, bright eyes open and confused. How did he get down here? He was meant to be in bed!
The dazed musician slowly clamboured back under his covers, shivering a little from the cold. For some peculiar reason he was just wearing shorts and some socks -- wait, it was all coming back to him. He'd gone out to see a film last night and gotten home late, so...
He sat up in bed, pulling the duvet around him so that only his face was peeking out from a small gap. He then tottered onto the floor, duvet dragging on the ground behind him as he made his way into the living room and snuggled onto his sofa.
" Good morning, Kumagoro! Did you sleep well? " He said cheerfully to his stuffed rabbit, the infamous Kumagoro. It was impossible to meet with Ryuichi without the rabbit being in tow, and the sheer childishness of this fact often surprised people at first. By now his friends were used to his quirks, although it had taken quite a long time for a couple of them. Ryuichi pulled Kumagoro into the warmth of the duvet, and reached out to turn the TV on. A few channel changes showed that it was mostly news shows on and a couple of drama repeats, which was boring~ ...He wanted to do something fun!

As though sensing his mood, his phone alerted him to a text message. Ryuichi eagerly snatched it up and grinned happily as he read the message asking him if he could come into work today to join the band for a jam session. That meant Tohma and Noriko must be bored too! He replied quickly then flung the phone to the corner of his sofa, leaping out from the safety of his duvets. The man raced back to his room, all the while singing one of Bad Luck's songs under his breath as he got himself dressed. Within fifteen minutes he was out the door, kumagoro clutched in his hand, swung energetically as he skipped down the steps.

He arrived at the NG building sometime around eight thirty wearing a beaming smile. Those who recognised him greeted him as he passed, and Ryuichi responded with a cheerful little wave. However, just as he reached the elevator, his stomach let out the loudest gurgle. Ryuichi blinked in surprise, lowering his gaze to stare at his tummy. Of course, food! He'd been so excited about spending time with his friends that he hadn't eaten breakfast! His jam session wasn't for a little while, so Ryuichi figured he had plenty of time to find something to eat and stop his tummy rumbling. He headed to the staff canteen and picked up some an-pan and melong bread - sweet foods, but yummy. There were a few bemused looks as the singer sat down at one of the tables and bit into his breakfast, Kumagoro sat up on the chair next to him.
Ah~ Bliss.

Akira Tokihito had been up since six o'clock that morning and it was all because he was practicing. It was nothing as intense as Mystify would play, but a soft melody that drifted around the room and lightly bounced off walls. He had woken up and felt the slight chill in the room and as his sheets pooled around his hips, he stared out of the window as the sun shone over the horizon. So, he slid out of bed, shivering in his powder blue pajama pants, and padded across the room to where his guitar sat on display, waiting to be taken out and played. So, for the next hour, that was what Akira did. He played his guitar. Not too loud, of course, because he had neighbors who were still sleeping and he didn't want to upset his neighbors. He didn't go around upsetting people. It wasn't his way... As the city started to awaken, Akira came out of his small trance and smiled hesitantly at a thought. Perhaps he could do something outside the box that day. ---but what? His face fell as no thoughts reached him on what he should do that he normally didn't do. Placing his guitar down carefully, he walked over to his window and pulled the blinds close before he began to shed his clothes so that he could take a shower. Maybe with the rushing sound of the water playing in the background, he could think of what he could do for the day. Yes, the water might help him wonderfully and then he would have his plan for the day. Though, something was nagging at him in the back of his mind as he stepped into the shower, and suddenly shrieked loudly when he realized that he forgot to adjust the temperature. Nothing like boiling hot water to beat mercilessly at your skin without a care for your feelings. Ouchies...!!! The day was starting out wonderously so far for Akira and surprisingly, that wasn't a sarcastic comment. Usually he falls and then the unforgiving water attacks him without him being able to get up and properly defend himself. Today would be a good day!

"Tooku de me o hikarasete mezameru monotachi matte iru
Yoru no jouheki sasowarete utsurisumu mure no nukegara ni
                          shougeki ni taeru tsumori nara
                          itsuwari o misete...
Umarekawareru anata yo hitori hohoemanaide hitomi o irodoru
Nozonda sekai ga totsuzen hai ni natte mo kiseki ni mada meguriaeru
                          (sotto dakishimete kowasu you ni)
Muku na mama de sarasarete hanabira o chirasu hana no you ni
Migaku houseki te no naka no hibi ni sae kizukihajimeteru
                          nukeochita toge o hirou kara..."

Once the shower and the singing was over, Akira shuffled into the kitchen in a towel and immediately pulled out a pack of ramen for himself to make. As he prepared it and popped it into the microwave, he pondered briefly if Koichi and Shiva were awake. Didn't they have to practice today? Or was that yesterday? Wait, yesterday was yesterday, so maybe it was the next day which was the tomorrow...? Scrunching up his face, he tried to calm his head as thoughts bounced around and partied like there was no tomorrow. It was a bit frustrating to say the least but he was luckily broken from his thoughts as the beep on his microwave went off. Breakfast was served! Sluuuurp... Sluuuuuurp... Sluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp! Within the next five minutes, all of the ramen was gone and Akira was scraping desperately at the bottom of the bowl before he sighed sadly. Alas, the ramen was truly all gone and that was a rather sad day for Akira. The only thing that could be sadder was his mom burned ramen. One day he would find out her secret and try to rectify the problem so that it would never happen again. Until then, he would have to step in when he went over to his family's house and his mom announced she was making ramen. He would do backflips into the kitchen and save the day! Well, in his mind, he would. In real life, he would attempt to do a backflip, fall over into the lamp, and then get picked on and laughed at until his next accident. Right back to the task at hand... What out of the box thing could Akira do? He was truly boggled and stumped and he simply didn't like it. So, he went back into his room and decided on what he would wear for the day, and since he was trying to be different, he pushed past his frilly and lacy and all that was delicate and headed for his long-sleeved shirts. Pulling out a light blue one and a pair of blue jeans, Akira discarded his towel and walked around his room in search of a decent pair of undies and socks. Finally, his outfit was altogether and he felt warm and no longer chilly and such. He even had on a scarf...

As he picked up his guitar again and crawled back into his bed, he looked over at his phone on the nightstand and wondered if he should send his bandmates a message. It took two minutes for him to decide that but finally he did. He could only hope that he wasn't disturbing them or waking them up, but maybe they should be up so that they could be up?

                          to: koichi, shiva
                          from: akira
                          message: ohayou
is there anything planned for today?
perhaps we may spend this day together
even if something is not planned.
                          please? <3

Once his message was sent, Akira began to play his guitar again but it was a quieter version of Rage Beat by Bad Luck. The two bands were such an inspiration but now Mystify did not need to be inspired. They were inspiring and their single being number one proved it. That made Akira smile softly at the thought as he switched over from Rage Beat to one of Nittle Grasper's songs, Sleepless Beauty, and he played that for a few moments before he then switched over to one of Mystify's songs. It was such an easy transition for him now but before he nearly plucked strings trying to get it just right. Practice, practice, praaaaaaaaactice. Yep, and a lot of it too. Oh, was that point already understood? Good then... Akira now only waited for one or both of his bandmates to message him back as he placed his guitar down safely against the wall and laid down on his bed, closing his eyes. He was feeling a little sleepy but that probably had to do with the fact he normally slept longer than he had that morning. Maybe a little nap was called for. He pondered that idea for a little while but he decided that it was not worth it and he needed to get out so that he could be refreshed for the day. So, he quickly grabbed and put on everything he needed and slipped on his shoes, and headed out of the door. Locking the apartment door behind himself, he pulled his coat closer to him as he headed down the two flights of stairs that led to the ground level. He never took the elevator because he could do a simple task such as walk down the stairs. As his foot hit the last step, his neighbor rounded a corner, clearly heading up the stairs and stepped on Akira's foot. "Eeep!" That had been the best he could give as his neighbor apologized profusely before stepping around Akira and continuing up the stairs. Well, dang it, the day wasn't too bad still. Stay hopeful. Now, Akira was off to walk and perhaps he would simply head to the NG building and see if either of his bandmates were there, though he doubted it. One was lazy and the other needed sleep. If practice wasn't mandatory, it was likely Akira wouldn't see his bandmates until afternoon and that made his heart drop. He enjoyed being around his bandmates. With a sigh, he took off walking in the direction of the NG building, hoping for the best. It was the most he could do at that point!

User ImageYuki glared at the road as he drove. This was not how he had planned this day. Not...one...bit.He had wanted to finish the outline for his latest, instead he was stuck going to the signing of a book he had released almost two months ago. It wasn't his fault the it had taken so long to find an appropriate cover, and go though the editing process. He really should blame his editor in the first place, it was she who had decided he needed to make a live appearance to his latest release. Honestly, it wasn't like he needed the publicity, what was going through her thick skull? His irritation growing, he grunted slightly and slowed the car to a stop at the red light. No doubt he would get a whiny earful when he got home Shu was going to throw a fit that he had left before the brat had woken up. At the moment, he was tired, grumpy, and really couldn't care less, but he knew it was going to cost him when he returned.

Yuki rolled his eyes and lit a cigarette, then rolled down the window as he breathed in the nicotine. 'At least that helped me wake up a bit.' was his vague thought as he stuffed his favorite lighter into his front left pocket. He hit the gas once the light was green again and stuck his hand out the window, holding the little white stick between his fingers and thumb. "She better make this short." Yuki muttered as he made a sharp right turn. He would not be out here more then necessary, editor or no. He licked his lips as he parked the car and put his cigarette in his mouth

"Eiri-san!" a voice called behind him as he stepped out of the car. He brushed off his simple black suit before turning to face the person. 'Speaking of the devil...'he thought with a roll of his eyes as his editor Shina Amiko came to greet him. "I'm glad your early for once!" she gave him an excited smile.

"Early?" Yuki frowned. "I thought I was late..." he checked his watch, lightly tapping the surface. He narrowed his eyes though, when she shook her head in denial.

"No, No, I've learned this time Eri-san." Shina said waggling her finger in front of his face. Yuki just glared at her. "I made sure to tell you to come a half an hour early!" she gloated.

The blond writer shook his head in annoyance and dropped what was left of his cigarette on the floor, not even bothering to put it out. "What ever.." he muttered." then with out further ado he walked past her and towards the bookstore. Zenos Best Books was pretty good sized book store when it came down to it, and honestly it was the most popular in the district. With good reason of course. After all Zenos was the first shop to sell Yuki's books. A small bell jingled as he walked through the door and onto soft blue carpet. Despite it being his first seller, this was the first time he had set foot in this particular store. Honestly why would he when the moment he showed up, he was likely to be mobbed by fans? No, he was smarter then that, he just ordered what he wanted online.

He ignored his editor even as heard her stilettos click on the entrance way just behind him. He was highly annoyed with her, and as childish as it was he was he was going to give the silent treatment for a while. Ignoring the store owner as she stuttered out a greeting he slipped over to a table where there were several piles of his "And then the rain fell" books stacked around on the floor. Forgetting his silent treatment plan he turned to glare at his editor again. "There is no way in hell I am signing all those!" he snapped. Of course his annoyance was returned with a simple smile, and she spoke as if he hadn't even just yelled at her.

"Of course Eri-san" she said indulgently, making him feel very like a tantrum throwing ten-year-old. Before he could add anything on another bell jingled signaling the arrival of customers. He huffed and looked away before sinking slowly into the hard chair. 'This will not end well.' he thought as he plastered on a fake smile for his fans.

Just Let me write in peace!
Suguru Fujisaki.
Bad Luck's keyboard player.

I held a jewel in my fingers
And went to sleep
The day was warm,

Suguru Fujisaki was and probably always would be a very serious person. The only time he didn't look like a cranky old person was when he was asleep, there were no bored stares or exasperated glares. There was only his face completely relaxed and innocent and pretty much angelic looking. Really there was nothing more adorable than a sleeping Suguru because he just looked so unguarded. It was rare for the famous keyboardist from Bad Luck to look anything but cool and reserved, well at least in front of the public and most of the time with the band. See, sometimes he became frazzled and ended up whirling about in anger and frustration at his childish band mates but all of that did not matte! The point was that for the most part Suguru looked like an adult, he didn't look like the innocent little kid that he still was. When he was asleep he was totally relaxed and couldn't put on his polite business smile or his angry face or even his dull reserved face. It was just Suguru being cute and real for once instead of being polite and fake. It was nice to see him that was, even though he was a very good keyboardist it still took a lot for him to really connect with Shuichi and Hiro, even then he still called them by their last names only. He still had a long way to go to before he acted as open as he was sleeping in front of his two partners while he was awake.

Suguru really was like a child when he slept, all curled up in his bed with the sheets thrown around him, his mouth was slightly open and he was drooling on his pillow adorably. He was much more unreserved when he was sleeping and if anyone saw him in such a state he would probably end up a flustered blushing mess. His room was pretty bare just like his entire apartment, just a large bed and a bedside desk and that was it, there was a door leading to an equally immaculate and bare bathroom. Then down the hall there was another bedroom that had been converted into an office and a space to create music, this interestingly enough looked like the most lived in part of his apartment. The living room was attached to the kitchen and they were clean and filled with only the bare necessities, there was also a smaller half bath that was down the hall too. It was a nice apartment, a fairly large one too. It was right smack dab in between his school and the NG building. He had been given it by Tohma or rather by his parents making sure Tohma gave him a good place to stay. They were cousins after all but more so than that he needed to protect one of his talents from being in a bad situation. Suguru was too young to find an apartment on his own after all and it was silly for him to live with his parents who lived down near Eiri Yuki's parents anyway.

When Suguru finally started to wake up he slipped out of his bed and fell onto the floor with a soft thump, he was wearing only a large button down sleeping shirt and some boxer shorts that showed off a heck of a lot of his slim pale legs. He rubbed at his warm brown eyes sleepily and his dark green hair fluffed and spiked out playfully. Suguru groaned softly and moved up onto his knees and hands before moving and slowly standing up before wandering into the bathroom. When he awoke Suguru wasn't at his sharpest and it too a quick dip into the shower to snap him out of his sleepy haze. He slipped his clothing off and turned on his shower before stepping in and jolting awake from the shock of the cold water. Suguru stood still until the water became hotter then he washed himself thoroughly and scrubbed at his hair with cucumber melon shampoo. Suguru liked the clean sweet smell and he liked how it wasn't too overpowering or feminine. Once he was all rinsed clean he slipped out of the shower and put on his normal formal clothing, dress pants that were black, a button down shirt that was greenish bluish and a dress jacket over it that was black, he even wore a tie that was a darker colored version of his shirt. He looked like an adorable little business man even though he was too childish and cute for it to work.

Suguru had to go to NG this morning so that he could practice with the band and do other good things like that. He left his apartment early and walked down the hall before entering an elevator and riding all the way down to the bottom floor. Once he reached it, he left the apartment complex and wandered out and down the sidewalk slowly. He normally walked to NG and took the bus to his school, he walked because it relaxed him on the way to his job and he took the bus because before school he often studied up and he needed to be still to do it. It wasn't an insanely long walk and once he made it to NG he entered it and politely greeted everyone who passed by him. Suguru was known for being polite but also being a bit distanced from everyone. He was so much younger than most people and they never really connected to him well. He was headed towards the staff canteen, since he found breakfast was much easier to handle there than anywhere else. Suguru entered that area and looked around, notably spotting Ryuichi and looking confused. Shuichi was better with playing with Ryuichi so not greeting him would be a good idea but then again Ryuichi was like a sempai and it would be rude not to greet him. Suguru frowned to himself and looked a little bit hopeless.

It was going to be another average day for the keyboardist.

The Gem was gone in my hands
And now,
an Amethyst remembrance
Is all I own.

The sun streamed into the room as the sound of typing fluttered into Shuichi Shindou's ears as he hugged his pillow closer to himself since he was curled up, nuzzling it slightly. The night before had been a celebration for Yuki's new book though Yuki hadn't even bothered to show. By the time Shuichi got home, he was too tired to even complain so he simply undressed himself and climbed into bed. Oh, how he loved and adored Yuki~! Despite the fact that the other was an anti-social b*****d who didn't understand the meaning of public displays of affection! It was when the apartment was completely silent that Shuichi began to stir in his sleep. There was the fluttering of his eyelids that hid his eyes until he finally rolled over onto his back and he opened his eyes and stared up groggily at the ceiling. With a loud yawn, he sat up and used the back of his hands to rub at his eyes as everything came into focus. Suddenly, he leaped out of bed with a perfect little flip and landed on his feet, smiling brightly! Today was the day that Yuki did his book signing! He was going to go with him and cheer him on! He had the perfect cheerleading outfit for the job! Oh, Yuki would be so pleased! Dancing off towards Yuki's study, he hummed happily to himself and began to knock rapidly on the door, waiting for Yuki to open it. When he got no reply, he turned the doorknob and peeked inside and he grew instantly curious. Where was Yuki? For the next ten minutes, Shuichi inspected the apartment in search of Yuki and when he came up empty-handed, he immediately threw a small tantrum! Yuki had left him without waking him up to ask if he wanted to go! Oh, Yuki was going to hear about it later...

Shuichi had taken his shower and he had gotten dressed in something warmer than what he normally could be seen wearing. He was still wearing his orange hoodie, but he had on a sweater uner it and he was wearing black pants so his wouldn't freeze to death. Though, it would be nice to have Yuki help him warm up. His facial expression instantly grew dazed as he thought about cuddling up with Yuki to stay warm. How he'd wrap his arms around Yuki and Yuki would say something...rude... Well, so much for that fantasy. He sighed as he hated for the kitchen to get some strawberry pocky and something to drink. He would drink out of his favorite mug and it would be wonderful and he'd stay warm! Besides, maybe he could start on a new song for the group and that way, he'd be ahead and then he wouldn't have to worry about getting shot at or tortured by K. Then he'd have more time to spend with Yuki! Yay! So, he got to work immediately....

The whole write a new song, yay! lasted all of ten minutes and Shuichi was sitting there, daydreaming. He couldn't concentrate. The whole thing with the new band was kind of wearing on him. It was bad enough competing with Nittle Grasper but now he had to compete with Mystify. He believed in the abilities of his band, Bad Luck, but he was afraid that he would somehow let them down. There were the times that he couldn't focus on his music because he was so wrapped up in what was going on with Yuki. He knew he had a slight obsession, but Yuki was his first real lover and he couldn't get enough of the older man who was very much so a b*****d. But Yuki could be kind when he wanted to be. And Shuichi remembered that day that Yuki told him all about the murders and when Yuki cried, it had been a touching moment. Not to mention, Shuichi was in awe that someone could go so long without crying when he basically got teary-eyed and weepy almost everyday. It was true, sadly. His thoughts finally brightened some at the thought of the game show. Sure, it was a competition but he was sure everything would turn out fine! Bad Luck would prevail~! It was written in the stars... At least, he hoped it was written in the stars. Sighing softly, he took a sip of his hot chocolate and smiled at the warming feeling that spread through him. "I should go visit Yuki..." He murmured to himself, a smile still playing on his lips. With that idea said outloud, he got up and started layering himself so he would stay warm. With shoes on, he made sure he had everything he would possibly need and then he locked the door and ran to the elevator! A trip to visit Yuki~!

As Shuichi walked, he considered the fact that he probably needed to head to the NG building because he had practice of some type. K would have his head if he missed practice and Hiro was sure to want to know what was up. How could he say he missed practice so he could spend time with Yuki? He was debating to himself outloud and everyone who passed him was staring at him strangely because he was doing strange motions every time he thought something outloud. Finally, he decided that he'd do a quick visit to Yuki just to see how he was doing and then he'd go to the NG building! The plan was perfect. He was running through the crowd as best he could, but he wasn't getting far fast. It took him ten minutes to get to the department store that Yuki was at, but once he got there, he burst through the doors and noticed the people lined up in front of Yuki to have their books signed. "Yuki~!!!" Oh gosh... Shuichi was likely to get ignored now and chewed out later. But he was so happy to see his lover. Though, he was somewhat concerned by the creepy smile on Yuki's face and he knew it was his be nice to the fans smile because Yuki didn't smile much. Oh... Would he have to wait in line before he could talk to Yuki?

Shiva "Eve", Akasaka.
Mystify's singer.

You and I are betting on words
You and I are wandering worlds
apart from each other joined at the heart

You and I escaping the earth
Tasting tears for all that it's worth
apart from each other joined by a thought

Can you believe me?
Still sitting pretty with a pistol in hand.
Living to love you will you be my man?
If I beg, if I plead would you please, please, please satisfy me?

Shiva loved to sleep, that might be why he enjoyed sheep so much not only were they the symbol of sleepiness for him but they also were similar in English to one another. See, Shiva needed to sleep almost constantly because he had a habit of feeling weak and being sick and having no fun at all. So sleep was his way of storing up energy and strengthening his immune system. This was why Shiva normally came home and fell asleep around eight o' clock every single night, unless it was a night when they had a concert, then he had to stay up late. Shiva was the type of person who never ever desired to stay up late and party or watch fun television shows, all he really wanted to do was sleep. Well sleep and collect sheep items, oh he also liked singing of course, and cuddling with his band mates felt good too. Yup, he liked those types of things. Which was why he was currently sleeping and enjoying his time curled up in his extra large bed, seriously Shiva always wanted beds that were super large partially because he liked it when he had his band mates over and then they could all snuggle in the same bed and it was super cozy and nice. Plus he needed a large bed since he tended to fall asleep and then move around awkwardly. If there was a human or a living animal in the bed he would move to cling to it in his sleep but if no one was in the bed except for him then he would flail about the bed in his sleep. It was natural for Shiva.

There was also another reason for his super sized bed...Shiva happened to have a horrible addiction to stuffed sheep because of this his bed looked similar to a giant fluffy cream cloud. The large silky comforter on it was a deep midnight blue and it had silver star patterns on it while his pillows were all large and fluffy and varied into different shades of blue, the sheets underneath the large comforter were all blues too. It was all the sheep that made it into a neat looking nighttime sky picture. Big sheep little sheep, white sheep, black sheep, there were a lot of sheep and they all fit on the bed in an adorable manner. Shiva slept int he giant pile and it made him feel safer somehow and a lot less lonely. He also slept with his cellular phone in the bed too. Since normally it was used to wake him before he became late to something. Shiva was so immersed by his bed that it was rather amusing to just see the sleeping male who looked simply precious while he was sleeping. He always wore big fluffy pajamas that were often large t-shirts with shorts. He liked it best when he could sleep like that because it felt nice to have some skin touching the sheets. He obviously loved his bed and his bedroom since the whole thing was well living in, there was the bed of course and a side drawer that had a lamp and room for books or drinks or snacks, there was some actual drawers with clothes in them that had a television on top too, for when he was awake enough to watch television.

Shiva had a fairly small apartment all things considered, his parents and his own job could have insured him something much better but he liked what he had. It only had the one bedroom and a fair sized full bathroom, the kitchen and the living room were attached and nice looking and his whole living space seemed full off items that marked it as well lived in. Everything looked so cozy and that was probably because the thing he did most in his apartment was sleep, everything had to be cozy for that reason. He, himself was just sleeping in his giant pile of sheep without a care in the world. It was really rather adorable. His blond hair fluffed out like a baby chick's and his wide eyes closed, his lips set in a small smile and his general expression angelic. he just looked wonderfully adorable. Shiva tended to enjoy sleeping quite a bit and he looked good doing what he enjoyed. The sad thing was that he probably would have stayed sleeping except for the sudden loud jingle jingle and the soft vibrations of his cellular phone. He moaned and crawled underneath his sheets until he found it hiding beneath a stray pillow. Bleary blue eyes opened and he yawned softly. Shiva had no clue what was going on so it took him a while to understand the message, one he did understand it he responded as quickly as he could.

to: koichi, akira
from: shiva
re: message: ohayou
I dunno...ohayou
I wanna spend the day and have lots of hugs from you, both of you...
nnn...
I'll be there in a min---

It was hard for him to type up much and what he did type up was kind of odd and silly in fact he accidentally sent the message without even finishing it but that was normally how Shiva sent messages especially if one woke him up to receive on from him. He was still half asleep when he tried to figure out where he was and where he was going, his long cream colored limbs poked out of the sheep pile and he began taking off his clothing from inside the pile, unlike most people Shiva had a tendency to shower at night so he was clean and so that it felt nicer and more refreshing when he slept. He crawled out of bed almost entirely naked and went over to his clothing in a sleepy confused manner, he pulled out large well worn cargo pants that were a navy color and had a white wing icon sewn onto one of the legs. His top was a loose white and navy colored striped long sleeve shirt, it went down half way to his knees and the sleeves pooled over the tips of his fingers. The top was made to slip off the shoulders and that is what it did, he looked cute but all his clothing was so overly comfortable and easy to relaxing that he went back to his bed and dug his way into the sheep pile again...Someone would wake him up again once it was time to go. Shiva had completely missed the fact that neither Akira nor he actually knew if anything was going on. Koichi would have known, Koichi was smart about those things but Shiva couldn't think clearly and simple fell right back into his comfy sleepy daze in his bed.

You and I are traveling time
You and I a moon rockets climb
In tune with forever, never say never we're told

You and I are floating in space
You and I are waiting to make
the most of a moment alive in this silence so great

Anything goes in this cosmic dare
Anything goes so take care
Did you feel my heart beat to you lies? To your sighs?
Mon amour sweet love of mine

Surprisingly, the night had been long. Koichi had turned into his bed early having decided that the TV channels were full of crap and he had nothing better to do. He'd picked up a bowl of katsu-don from the convenience store and eaten it whilst watching some sad old movie, then taken a long soak in the bath. He turned on some music, then switched it off again after two songs. He picked up his book, but only read a few lines before flinging it aside again. He simply had too much free time. But this was normal for Koichi...it was part of a cycle the boy went through regularly. First stage: Be bored stupid. Second stage: Get girlfriend. Third Stage: Get dumped. The cycle was repeated every few months or so, each time the girl being of the same general build - a pretty face with a slight figure. He didn't have a reason behind choosing this type of girl...and he never denied his attraction either. Koichi accepted the jokes about being shallow, or being 'typical'. It didn't matter, right? It was just playing around.
Of course, once dumped he found that there was a lot of his time that he had nothing to fill with, and ended up lounging about the place moving from one activity to the next. It didn't help that there were no parties to go to, no clubs to check out, no 'movie nights' with his friends...just uneventful, dull evenings that were better spent asleep in bed than trying to stay awake and scrape the barrel for things to do.

If left to sleep in peace, Koichi might not of awoken until noon. However, the shrill tone of his mobile as it received two messages dragged him out of his slumber. With sleepy eyes he stirred under his covers, hair matted into a mess atop his head. He blinked at his hand, fingers curling around his phone. Why was it here...? Oh, now he remembered. He'd been playing some tedious game or other and given up all hope of staying awake. He didn't immediately check his messages, instead letting his phone slip from his fingers and bounce onto the mattress. Koichi buried his head into his pillow, groaning. Waking up was the worst...
The youth practically rolled out of bed, shoving his feet into a pair of slippers before shuffling towards the kitchen. Mindlessly he flicked the kettle on and prepared a cup of coffee, leaving the water to boil as he opened a nearby cupboard to check for cereals. Let's see... there were only two choices. One was a box of relatively new puffs, the other a box of...wait, he didn't remember buying this. Who had bought this? Koichi lifted the box down to examine it. Chololate crispy crunch...yeah, okay. He shrugged and served himself a bowl, figuring it was probably left over from when his girlfriend was around. Waste not want not.

He returned to his bedroom carrying coffee and cereal, chewing over a mouthful as he walked. Koichi settled back onto his bed, legs crossed underneath him and a pillow in his lap to rest his bowl on. He placed his coffee on his bedside table and picked up his phone, delivering another spoonful of 'chocolate crispy crunch' into his mouth as he read the messages from his bandmates. Silent save for the sound of chewing, Koichi made his reply.
      to: akira, shiva
      from: koichi
      re: message: ohayou
      Yeah sure.
You guys woke me up, after all.
      Where should we meet?

He chucked the phone back onto the covers, waiting for the reply. Of course, waiting was boring...so he paused his cereal eating to lift the latest volume of Jump onto his bed, flicking the pages to a chapter he hadn't read yet. He knew that it was for kids but...he hadn't yet grown out of reading Jump mangas - and he imagined he never would do.

Akira hadn't made it to the NG building yet and that was because of the fact that he had stopped at a little stand that sold ramen. What? He was hungry, that one little bowl had done nothing to satisfy him. At all. So, he was satisfying his little stomach and he hoped that it would be enough to sustain him for a couple of hours at least. Unless his bandmates wanted to eat soon. Then he could eat some more. Was it bad that his thoughts were focused entirely on eating? It was probably bad, wasn't it? He wasn't trying to be bad... Honest. Taking the last slurps of his noodles, he sighed contentedly and realized that his phone was flashing which meant text messages! Oh, that was good then. Paying for his ramen, he shyly murmured a goodbye as he exited the stand and began to walk again. He was still headed in the direction of the NG building but he had slowed his pace and was taking a less crowded route so that he could read the text messages on his phone.

Shiva had replied first and the message hadn't been finished. Then Koichi replied and wanted to know where to meet. Akira wasn't really a planner of things since he wasn't much for taking action, but he was thinking where they could meet. It would be usual to meet at the NG building and perhaps do some practicing but Akira wanted to be outside the box, remember?

                          to: koichi, shiva
                          from: akira
                          subj: re; re;
message: sorry for waking you both up.
but perhaps we can meet in the park? near ng building?
or we could meet at a restaurant?
                          and have breakfast?
                          my treat.
                          let me know.
                          <3

Akira was seriously going to end up fat with the way he kept eating, but he didn't think about that as he sent the message. No, instead he was quite pleased with his plan. He had enough to treat his bandmates though they could just as easily treat themselves, he figured. Then again, he didn't know for sure. With a sigh, he continued to walk in the direction of the NG building and wondered if any of the other bands were there yet. He hadn't spoken to any of them because he wasn't sure what he would say. "I like your music, do you like ours?" Something like that sounded awkward to Akira and he honestly didn't know how to approach the members of Bad Luck or Nittle Grasper. He was sure they were normal people like everyone else but Akira had been a fan of theirs before Mystify had made it big. But he no longer wondered what it was like to make a hit song since Mystify had done that. Had even beat Bad Luck out for the number one spot on the charts. It had been a surreal moment that Akira was still reeling in. How had they done it? How had it happened? He couldn't be sure but he knew that he was proud of his band and their accomplishments.

That made him think of the appearance they would be making on Jump! To the Music! and the fact that they would be competing with Bad Luck. It was a little scary for Akira to think about but he knew he had to start preparing himself. The show was in seven days. It was incredibly scary to think about and he didn't like the thought of going against Bad Luck. He remembered watching the show when Bad Luck had first appeared on there and had been losing but won at the very last second. It could happen that way again. Mystify could be in the lead and one question could change it all. It made Akira nervous but he had been studying up on everything he could possibly need to know for the show. He wondered if Koichi and Shiva were ready for the competition or if they had even thought about it. Was Akira worrying for no reason maybe? Perhaps he was. As Akira reached the NG building, he kept walking but his eyes took in the sight of the building as if it were a magical place. It was a place where dreams could come true. He truly believed that and he smiled at the thought as he continued to walk until the building grew smaller and smaller. Finally, he reached his new destination! The park! Oh, what fun he could have at the park. With the animals! Yay? Yay!

Akira found himself a place to sit as he looked around, shivering lightly. His seat was cold but it was a bit chilly out so that made sense. Not many people were walking around and about like they normally would and he wondered if that had to do with the time or the weather. He sighed softly before a yawn escaped him. He was still a bit sleepy and all he wanted to do was snuggle under something, stay warm, and sleep. It sounded like the perfect plan.

Shiva "Eve", Akasaka.
Mystify's singer.

You and I are betting on words
You and I are wandering worlds
apart from each other joined at the heart

You and I escaping the earth
Tasting tears for all that it's worth
apart from each other joined by a thought

Can you believe me?
Still sitting pretty with a pistol in hand.
Living to love you will you be my man?
If I beg, if I plead would you please, please, please satisfy me?

Shiva had fallen completely back to sleep in the time it took for him to fall back into his warm fluffy bed, the sad thing about Shiva was that he had the ability to sleep almost anywhere at any time. Some might consider it cute and it kind of was but at the same time it was sort of awkward and embarrassing for some of the people closest to Shiva. Akira and Koichi understood him enough and were used to him and his near narcoleptic ways but a lot of the other people that were working with their band were completely unfamiliar with the singer or with his sleeping habits. It was frustrating for most people to deal with him since he often placed sleep above publicity and fame. Shiva loved to sing, he loved to create music and perform with his two best friends and he loved to touch people with his music but he did not and could not live the celebrity lifestyle. He was fine with going home early and going to sleep early, he didn't drink or party or stay up late, he didn't even date people. Shiva never seemed interested in those types of things. He seemed happy doing what he did, which was why he attracted so many people.

While he was sleeping the cellular phone was placed near his head, Shiva had not really put it there for any specific reason. It had just sort of fallen there when he had slumped back on to the bed. In his carefree position with the phone so close to his head he definitely heard and felt the first message. Then when he felt the second message he woke up fully again once more.

to: koichi, akira
from: shiva
subj: re; re;
message: Oh...
I'll be at the park.
Then we can all share breakfast...
Yeah, that sounds yummy.
See ya both there...~

Shiva liked his band mates more than anyone else in the whole world, sure he loved his adoptive parents a lot too but they didn't count because to him they were family. He loved them unconditionally because they were the people who raised him but his friends, his two best friends were a different story. After he met them they truly earned all the love and respect that he could give him, Shiva despite being friendly was often a little bit hard to get close to. Sure he was nice to everyone and he genuinely meant to be a kind person but it was hard for him to trust people. It took a lot for him to warm up to a person enough to want to spend time with them and both Akira and Koichi easily turned him into warm gooey mush. They were both kind and wonderful and when he met them he didn't feel suspicious or worried about their motives, all he felt was happiness and trust. They shared a dream together and it seemed as if both of them knew his perfectly. Shiva felt safe around them, he felt safe and he liked feeling safe which is why he enjoyed being as close as possible to his two friends. It was kind of cute just how attached to them he was, if Shiva had it his way he would just cling to both of them twenty four seven.

So he hugged his phone and then slipped out of the bed a bit reluctantly. He walked out if his bedroom and looked around in a dazed fashion, he needed to find some shoes and a hat because it was cold outside. His shoes were by the door so he bent down and slipped on the white and blue sneakers, they were well worn and comfortable and he didn't have to worry about retying them since he kept them tied up. He then looked around until he saw a dark navy colored hat that pulled over his head and sort of disguised him enough to protect him from being recognized. He walked out of his apartment and slipped his phone and his keys into one pocket before leaving the apartment building entirely. Shiva looked both ways a little bit sleepily before remembering which way the park was. Most of the time he would have eaten breakfast before leaving but if he got to eat with his friends then he would rather do that because it was more fun that way. He walked at an unhurried pace and tried to avoid people's gazes. Partially because he didn't want to be recognized as the singer for Mystify and partially because he didn't want to be confused as a lost tourist. Most people assumed he didn't know Japanese and that he needed help and they would often try to "help" him which normally ended up with Shiva feeling awkward and confused.

Once he reached the park Shiva stared blankly, he was sure Akira was somewhere now it was about finding out where he was. Then he saw him! Shiva smiled in a soft dreamy way and wandered to the other male and walked up behind the bench before reaching around and hugging the smaller male from behind, well half hugging and half sort of leaning on the other boy. He nuzzled his cheek against Akira and made a small happy sound, Shiva liked hugging his friends.

"Aki-chan, are you cold?"

Go wipe your snot on some one elses' shoulder.

User ImageTwo hours and over eight signed copies later and Yuki was really starting to loose his patience. He couldn’t' even go tot the bathroom with out these annoying women (and even some men) freaking out. He turned away for a moment o hide a wince as yet another mother gushed and squealed over what an inspiration he was. Why was he doing this again? He glanced over at his editor and shook his head, right, because she was a persistent b***h, that’s why.

“Yes, well, pleas do enjoy.” The writer said, only slightly sarcastic, as he waved for the next person in line to come forward. He leaned to the side hopping to catch a glimpse of the end of the horrendously long line. Nope…but there was news van. Danm, he was never going to get out of here. 'What I wouldn’t’ give for a smoke.' He thought tiredly as he ran his fingers through his hair, an action that unfortunately made some of the women squeal. Some how, he was sure he would be deaf before he got out of this.

Feeling rather bored Yuki went into auto mode and started going over his outline again. He still hadn’t’ decided on the main characters name, hmmm maybe Shika? Naw…an American name would really fit the guy better, and since he was born to and an American mother it would fit better too. Hmmm maybe he should as Tohma, the man always seemed to have good advice, he often asked his brother in laws opinion with out ever reveling what about, though he bet the guy already knew that. This new story he was working on was different then what he had done before.

To tell truth he was actually quite nervous as to how it would be received. It was going to be his first Male male romance. It was also, in a round about sort of way going to be His and Shuichis story. Not that he EVER planned on telling his lover that. Really, Shu was bad enough as it was, he didn’t need Yuki to add fuel to his fire. That, and well it was really embarrassing, he didn’t want to have to deal with the little brats reactions.

He sighed lightly as he waited for the next person. When he was a it was a guy he couldn’t’ help but roll his eyes a bit. ‘Here comes the excuse.’ He thought with an internal eye roll. And sure enough…

“My, um girlfriend she loves your books but um, she couldn’t come, so I uh yeah.” The guy had to be at least thirty and his face was redder then a tomatoes. It didn’t matter though, a customer was a customer, at least that what Shina said.Yuki had just handed over the book when a very familiar voice rang out some where down the line.

“Yuki~!!!”

The blond winced and ducked his head. What the hell was he doing here? The idiot what was he thinking? How could he think it was smart, to come to a place where there were hundreds of fan girls, and shout Yuki’s name? He groaned as people turned to see what the ruckus was about. How, and why would Shu forget that he was just as freaking famous if not more so? With his bright pink hair he stuck out like a sore thumb.

Well on the bright side maybe he could use the distraction to slip away un noticed, he’d let the brat deal with the crowd. As he stood he felt a hand rest on his shoulder and heard some one clear their throat. When he looked to see who he was met with Shinas bright over the top cheesy smile.

“Nice try Eri-san.” She said as she forced him back into his seat. Yuki sighed again. For a woman she had quite a bit of strength he didn't want to deal with her on one of her PMS days that was for sure. Still, he could feel quite the head ache coming on, so for now he decided to ignore the pink haired menace causing a scene.

"Some one up thier must realy hate me." He muttered as he massauged his temples.

Koichi reached over for his phone lazily when it alerted him of more new messages, eyes still transfixed on the manga he was reading. With two pages left to go, he wasn't going to be looking away anytime soon. He pressed the buttons on his phone by memory as he finished his page, his face a mask of gormless interest. How did they come up with the ideas for these things? There was always something going on every week, always a cliffhanger to keep him hooked. He didn't think he'd ever stop...if he did, he would surely be left wondering about the next chapter of the story. He'd tried, once, when he left high school. He'd managed to miss a month's worth of Jump manga before he couldn't take it any longer, and bought all four issues from the used book store down the road. It was official - he couldn't live without them.
His chapter finished, Koichi finally glanced at the messages on his phone. He didn't bother replying, figuring they were both smart enough to figure out he'd be there. Or at least...Shiva probably was. The singer was dippy and useless, but he was trusting. Akira was pretty much the same, although he was a little more timid. Koichi always throught of them both as being a little kitten and puppy; Akira would be the feline, nervous but adorable, and Shiva would be the puppy who was always searching for some love and affection.
He smiled at the thought. But what did that make him? Hmm...he'd have to ask them for their opinion.

He dressed quickly and with little concern for his attire, shoving on his baggy woollen jumper and pulling on some old jeans. Koichi never dressed up, even on stage. He was just too cool for that kind of thing, too relaxed. The musician paused at the door to run a brush through his hair to untangle the knots, then let it fall into it's natural mop. He unhooked his keys and shoved his wallet into his back pocket before slipping his feet into some trainers and setting out.

It was a pleasant day, not too hot nor too cold...but just right. He enjoyed this kind of spring-time weather, as well as the cool breezes of autumn. It was the time of year when everything was neutral, just before the height of Summer. His walk was a simple one; Out the door, down the stairs, slip through the back alley to the main road, walk a little ways...before he knew it, the bulk of the NG building was in front of him, looming over the smaller buildings like a giant. The windows gleamed in the morning sunlight, covering the walls of the building from top to bottom.
He remembered when they'd first arrived at NG to deliver their promo CD, the first time they'd met Seguchi Tohma. Koichi's first thought was that the music god was a good deal smaller than he expected, although he'd had a great deal of respect. He still admired the man not just for his work as the president of the company, but for his amazing skills as a keyboardist. People around the globe knew of Tohma's compositions and catchy melodies. Koichi only hoped that he too could be as creative and successful as Tohma. He didn't care much for fame or money...but music was his passion. When lounging around the place Koichi looked as distinterested and stereotypical as any useless teenager, but when placed in front of a piano or keyboard, his face lit up with a fire that burned for only one thing: music.

He pulled out a cigarette as he walked, taking long drags, savouring the flavour. He ought to stop smoking since he'd been told it was bad for him. He was trying his best to quit, using patches and even trying to switch his addiction to pocky, but in the end he needed that boost of nicotine. As he approached the park he spotted his two friends by a bench, a smile tugging at his lips. It looked like Shiva had already called dibs on hugging Akira...as expected. Koichi had wondered who would get to the park first, the sleepy singer or himself. The prospect of hugs must have given Shiva some kind of super-speed...
He stumped the cigarette out and wandered over, flopping onto Shiva's back.
" You two owe me big time for waking me up..." He complained into Shiva's back, leaning all his weight on the smaller boy. To onlookers they probably looked like fallen human dominoes.

Melon bread was so yummy! Ryuichi just had to get another helping, the canteen staff happily obliging him, giggling at his upbeat attitude. In fact, they'd been so enamoured with him, the kind lady had given him two more melon breads free of charge! So far, the day was going great. The singer hummed as he chewed, the sound muffled by the food in his mouth. Ryuichi bounced from side to side, his hair bouncing with each movement. He broke off a small piece of bread and placed it in front of Kumagoro, patting the stuffed rabbit's head encouragingly. He couldn't let Kumagoro feel left out!

He loved getting treated with affection. Most people, once over the shock of his child-like behaviour, would humour him and treat him...well, like a child. But that was okay! He liked getting free food in the canteen, or balloons in the park, or a seat at puppet shows...it was so much fun! Plus Kumagoro enjoyed it, which was just as important. However, his usually upbeat personality was why when Ryuichi got serious, everyone payed attention. The absence of that sparkling smile and innocent expression was so shocking that no-one could take their eyes off of him. Of course, he so rarely acted his age that it didn't really matter. The only time people could see him acting like an adult was whilst he was singing on stage. Of course there were other occasions but they were few and far between, but when Ryuichi was being serious, it didn't matter who you were. He'd even gotten upset with Shuichi a few times and treated him with a cold shoulder. Shuichi, of all people! The pink-haired nutcase was his bestest, bestest, bestest friend in the whole world!
Ah...next to Tohma. And Noriko. And K. And...uh...
Well okay, a lot of people made the cut for Ryuichi's 'bestest, bestest friends in the whole world' list. He simply loved people far too much. He was naive and carefree, traits which attracted people to him, and attracted him to other people. Once Ryuichi decided someone was wonderful, there was no chance of him letting go.
Which was the case with Shuichi. He was such an original singer, so cute yet so powerful...not unlike himself of course, which was part of his attraction. Shuichi's songs ignited the flame of competition in his soul, and spurred Ryuichi to take up the microphone himself. After all, with a rival, Shuichi would only shine more! There was the new band now, Mystify - that made three vocalists, all inspiring each other to strive to higher places. It was perfect!
There was even the TV show soon with Bad Luck against Mystify. Ryuichi wouldn't miss it for all the world!

Speaking of Bad Luck, had he just seen...?
Yes, he had! Ryuichi's eyes lit up as he focused on Suguru, his smile growing wider. The little keyboardist was such a sweetheart! He reminded him so much of Tohma when he was younger, except perhaps with a bit more attitude - but the genius and dedication was still there.
Ryuichi leapt from his chair, leaving Kumagoro to look after his food as he secretly hid behind a railing. When he was sure that Suguru wasn't looking Ryuichi jumped out at him, wrapping his arms around the smaller boy's shoulders.
" Suguru~! " He crooned, " How are you, Little-Tohma? You look so cute! " Ryuichi stepped back, flicking a clump of Suguru's soft dark hair. It was difficult to say if Ryuichi was trying to annoy the keyboardist with his words and nickname. His bright, pure eyes said that he meant no harm, but could anyone really trust him? Right now, however, he was just trying to be friendly.
" Are you here to play? Is Shuichi here? " Ryuichi's expression was hopeful, his blue eyes pleading. Oh, how good it would be if Shuichi was here too! He could cuddle him and listen to him sing, maybe even sing along with him! Tohma was mean and dind't let him bug Bad Luck whilst they were working, but if he was lucky, he could go find Shuichi without Tohma being the wiser! Oh, he was so sneaky, like a ninja~
...Of course, that was only if Shuichi was here. " He's here, right? "

Suguru decided on getting custard bread because he sort of liked how sweet and flaky it tasted. Suguru did have a bit of a sweet tooth but he did try his best to hide that fact from everyone around him. He didn't like showing how he loved sweet things because it was such a childish thing to like and because he knew he'd be teased for having such kiddish tastes. So custard bread was as far as he went in front of people, he never ate his most favorite sweet thing in front of others. His favorite thing was caramel pocky but it made him super hyper so he hid his love for it. Custard bread was fine, it didn't make him hyper of anything so it was okay to eat it.

Suguru happened to be sort of the opposite of Ryuichi, he was very young but he acted like an old man. A part of it was his history, ever since he was young he had a passion for the piano and the keyboard. He worked so hard on both of them and he truly was a prodigy but at the same time he was never as good as Tohma. In fact no matter how hard he tried he was always being compared to his older cousin, he did have a bit of a complex but he tried to hide it. He didn't want to be seen as an immature little brat, he had to be serious and match his talent with practice and because of that he couldn't be a kid or a silly teenager. Suguru took everything seriously for the sake of being able to be seen as something more than a clone of his older cousin and for the sake of surpassing Tohma Seguchi in every single way possible. He didn't hate his cousin but he felt insecure around him. So to stop feeling so inadequate he was trying his best to become the best ever, even this new keyboardist was a challenger for the name he was trying to make for himself. Suguru wanted to grow up and become better, so he had to act mature and grow up and not like a kid.

So that made Suguru kind of distracted and distanced around even his own band mates, he did care for them but he had a hard becomming really close and friendly with the two older males, even now. It wasn't that Suguru was shy or anything or that he enjoyed being alone but it was just easier to focus on becomming better when he wasn't caught up in Shuichi's and Hiro's drama. Plus they both were a bit older than him and they probably weren't okay with spending a time with a kid.

That was why he wasn't even sure if it was okay to just casually go up and speak with Ryuichi because he wasn't sure if it was okay to be with a rival and because he didn't want to be too open with anyone. It would be silly to just assume that it was okay, Ryuchi was a rival in his own right and besides even though Shuichi was friends with him it didn't mean that Suguru was to. It would be rude to just assume such things and act like they were best friends. Suguru didn't want to be rude, he wanted to be polite and mature and cool. That was why he wasn't going to foolishly act like a silly kid who believed everyone liked him.

So Suguru focused so much on his custard bread and his not going over to say hello to Ryuichi that he actually didn't notice Ryuichi sneaking up behind him. Then when his guard was completely down he felt a pair of arms wrapping around his shoulders and a body pressing into his back lightly. This caused Suguru's entire body to tense up before he literally jumped in the arms that were holding him and made a loud shocked noise that sounded quite similar to a squeak or a scream. Poor Suguru had been scared out of his wits by the surprise attacker and it was obvious that he couldn't contain his shock at all...it was actually kind of funny to watch the normally serious keyboardist scream and jump like a little girl.

"Sakuma-san!" Suguru yelped in a high pitch voice. "L-little Tohma? C-cute?!?" Then Ryuichi moved away from him but that didn't make Suguru any less nervous then his hair was flicked causing Suguru to blush in a flustered manner. All of the teasing words and actions caused him to look even more pouting and flustered and confused, see Suguru was never sure if the other was kidding or not. Plus all of his actions were vaguely hurtful to him, it caused him to feel sort of lost and unsure.

"Umm...n-no Sakuma-san I am here to practice...n-not that I know of." Suguru looked down in a nervous manner, it was hard to speak to Ryuichi especially when the other looked so hopeful and excited and it made him feel bad for sort of letting him down. He didn't know where exactly Shuichi or Hiro were but they were not at NG at the moment and he was sure Ryuichi would be disappointed when he knew his friend wasn't around. Suguru felt like the bad guy in some kind of horror movie. "I'm so sorry Sakuma-san but he is not presently at this location..."

I woke-and chid my fingers,
The Gem was gone in my hands
And now,
an Amethyst remembrance
Is all I own.

Akira was entertaining himself by humming softly and swaying his head back and forth as he waited for his friends. He had received a text message from Shiva and he figured that the blond-haired singer would soon be there. What would Akira do without Koichi and Shiva? Probably hide in his home and only go out if absolutely necessary. Other than that, Akira would probably be a hermit. Before Koichi and Shiva had come into his life, he had definitely been a bit of a recluse and it was a mystery to everyone how he had become Mystify’s guitarist. Well, he didn’t feel bad when people asked him that question because he often wondered him. How on Earth had he landed such a role? Maybe it was because he was really good and Koichi and Shiva had been moved by his playing? A light blush dusted his cheeks as he thought about it and he always wanted to ask, but he was afraid of the answer. It was just so strange to think about and he felt it would look strange of him to suddenly ask. So, he would silently ponder the question in his mind and let his mind come up with fascinating answers all on its own. Before Akira could finish his thoughts, someone was hugging him. Normally, he’d have screamed and begged for his life, but he knew who it was. Shiva. The other enjoyed hugs very much and Akira did too, thanks to Shiva. It was always nice to be hugged. Not to mention, there was always body heat to steal that way.

                          "Aki-chan, are you cold?"

“H-Hai, Shi-chan.” He murmured softly, snuggling into Shiva the best he could with the other behind him. He enjoyed the peace and he blinked suddenly. Oh no… Shiva must have been doing a lot of eating, he got heavier and—

“You two owe me big time for waking me up…”

—maybe the mysterious added weight was really Koichi and it made Akira happy to know that Koichi was there, and that Shiva wasn’t turning into a giant blimp. That would have been awkward. He had never seen an overweight lead singer before… But he would have supported Shiva despite his excess weight and surplus body fat. That would have meant he would have had a lot more body heat to offer and body heat was always a good thing, especially in the Winter. “I’m sorry, Koi-chan, I wanted to have breakfast with you both and-and-and maybe I got a little overexcited.” Akira answered softly, trying to crane his head to look back at the keyboardist but he couldn’t really move much without disturbing the pile, so he simply snuggled in some more. “I’m buying breakfast if that helps any…” He added, hoping that would appease Koichi. If not, Akira could… Dance? Yeah, Akira could try and dance. That should be worth something, right? “You both are so very light on my frail back.” There was a hint of sarcasm in that sentence but it was uttered so pleasantly that the sarcasm could go unnoticed, but more than likely, one of his bandmates would notice it. He didn’t care though because they were really beginning to hurt his back and would have appreciated it kindly if they got off of his back and let him. Then they could go and eat and everything would be wonderful, right?

“Koi-chan, do we have practice today? I can’t remember…” Akira whispered softly as if inquiring about something forbidden or secret. It may have to do with the fact that Akira had noticed people were staring at them and he couldn’t help but blush brightly at the odd looks and stares that they were receiving. He was sure it looked very odd to people from the outside but it was one of those moments where Mystify simply bonded in strange ways. Unfortunately for Akira’s back, this was one of them. But he loved his bandmates dearly. His mother thought that being in the band was good for her recluse son and she enjoyed seeing Koichi and Shiva whenever the opportunity presented itself. His siblings were fans of Koichi and Shiva but not him and he couldn’t help but pout at that thought. One of them had said it was because he was their brother. Shouldn’t that be part of the reason that they would be his ways thought? He hated it when things went backwards and he was confused. Oh… Cooold… Akira had zoned slightly since he was still waiting on the weight on top of his back to disappear. It was cold and he was ready to eat again. He had a fast metabolism and he ate a lot because of it. He was wondering if they didn’t have practice if they could take naps. But they had just woken up. Or at least Koichi and Shiva had. Akira had been up for a little while and he wouldn’t terribly mind a nap… He’d have to wait and see.

Plan gone wrong.

That was what Shuichi was facing as he backed away from the advancing crowd. He had just been so happy to see Yuki and when he looked in the other’s direction for help, it looked as though Yuki had been caught trying to sneak away. That b*****d! He was just gonna leave me! Shuichi pouted outwardly at the thought and he didn’t noticed that the small crowd was advancing on him. When one woman dived, Shuichi had to jump into a spin out of the way as he gracefully landed out of harm’s reach. Thankfully, someone in the bookstore was doing crowd control, so they helped Shuichi out some and got everyone back into the line.

It relieved Shuichi to know that someone cared about his well-being. Geez, he couldn’t believe that Yuki had been about to feed him to the lions. Shuichi loved the fans and all but it got really scary sometimes. And it had gotten a little worse since that television interview where Yuki had admitted they were lovers—it had been a shock to all of Japan, Shuichi especially. He hadn’t ever thought Yuki would admit such a thing to even one person much less everyone who had their television tuned into that station. Just the thought of that day made Shuichi forget his anger towards his lover as he bounded over to him happily and pulled up a chair. He moved in to nuzzle Yuki’s shoulder but he thought better of it as everyone’s eyes seemed to follow his action. How scary… But entertaining when he started waving his hand around and they followed that movement. Hehehehe~! To be honest, Shuichi should have really been heading for NG but he wanted to spend a little quality time with his love.

“Yuki, you left without saying goodbye to me.”

Shuichi was, of course, doing the puppy dog face as he gazed at his lover, knowing he wouldn’t get a positive response. Though, if Yuki gave him a kiss or an I love you, Shuichi would have happily danced out and been on his way to practice. But this was Yuki they were talking about. Though, the other had never been cruel to him in front of his fans. Maybe that meant Yuki wouldn’t demand he leave or be forcefully removed. That would be wonderful! …but he really did need to leave. If K had to come and find him, it wouldn’t be a pretty sight. Besides, anyone could guess where he was if he wasn’t at work… Anyone who knew he, that was. Everyone had figured his adoration for Yuki would lessen over time, but it hadn’t and he knew it was because even though Yuki came off cold and brooding, he was a softie on the inside. That only came out every once in a while. But then again, Shuichi could be suffering from wishful thinking which wouldn’t be the first time he had suffered. With a sigh, he watched as people came up to Yuki and asked him to sign their books. Even men were in line. That made Shuichi shift uncomfortably in his chair. Were other men after his Yuki now too?! That didn't make Shuichi want to leave any faster than he had come and he wished he could sit with Yuki until the book-signing was over. But he would need to get to NG soon and he kept reminding himself of that. Besides, he might get a chance to talk to Ryuichi which was always fun and exciting! Yay~!

"Yuki, I've gotta go soon." He murmured softly as if trying to console his lover and his reaching out and patting Yuki's hand was a clear sign that he thought he was consoling his lover. As if Yuki were going to cry once he left... HA! Funny funny funny....
