Intro not plot

I knew I should have taken the team away from him. The Jounin thought to himself as his only visible eye twitched. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen, yet I allowed him to do as he pleased. He continued lecturing himself, it was only supposed to be some new jutsu he learned. The Jounin continued as he took a look around his surroundings, just some silly Jutsu he wanted to show off. glancing around at his surroundings the Hatake felt like he was walking down memory lane. Something is not right here, The Jounin continued.

"Sensei? I think he is just pulling our leg. I mean seriously nothing happened." The knuckleheaded ninja himself complained, then again he couldn't blame him. This is Konoha for sure. The Jounin continued, "Can we get to training now?" The blond continued, But it is not at the same time. The male thought glancing over to his right now as he watched some familiar kids run by.
"Sensei?" His pink haired Gennin then started. Before the silver haired nin walked over to Jiraiya.
"What kind of Jutsu is this supposed to be?" He asked, obviously annoyed.
"Not the one I was trying to show you." The Sannin replied as the Uchiha tuned in.
"What do you mean nothing has happened." The Uchiha then asked. And I thought you one of the most keen. The Hatake thought to himself.
"Is something wrong?"Sakura then asked.
"Can you get us back?" Kakashi then asked his sensei's mentor.
"How could I if I don't know how I ended up here in the first place." The Sannin replied, and for the first time ever did any of them see the Hatake slap his forehead. Turning to the Gennin the Jounin spoke up.
"Jiraiya here has some how placed us in the past." The Hatake stated.
"Your joking..right?"
"No way,"
". . ." The Uchiha quite for the time.
"I don't know how far back, but for sure it was before the nine tailed attack." Jiraiya said aloud.
"You know this how?" Naruto asked while their sensei changed his appearance to that of a brunette female, as a group walked up.
"Jiraiya? I didn't know you would be back so soon." Looking at the Sannin and Jounin the three Gennin noted how their faces paled. You have got to be kidding me.
"Holy s**t It's a younger kakashi!" Naruto exclaimed.
"A younger?" The three kids standing in front of the blond male replied.
"Oh my Kami its the." Sakura began.
"Yondaime, my student how are things..." Jiraiya cut in.

This was by far going to give the Hatake a head ache. All the questions the Gennin were going to ask, if the village found out all the questions they were going to ask him...and his sensei, oh Kami his sensei.

How was he supposed to get the idiot and his team back to their time?

Plot:

During some training while outside of the village, Jiraiya came upon some scrolls on the outskirts of the sand village. After going to their allied nation, finding out that they were not their documents, obtained the right to own them, and did a little 'research', he started on some more training. According to the scroll he should be able to go back into one's memories and probe through them as he wished, a skill many anbu knew but he never took to much time with...this jutsu was called the Time Reversal Technique. And with the Akatsuki planning on attacking soon, if he were to run into one and interrogate them things should slow down...right?

Pretty sure he has the jutsu down the Sannin heads back home to check in with the ladies of course, there he happens to run into his student's student. A perfect test subject, he hadn't even seen the kids with the male until the blond one spoke. Yelling about some awesome jutsu or something, preforming what he thought to be the necessary hand seals the male waited...and waited...and waited. Thinking he had done something wrong and messed up somewhere he was about to retry when something caught his eye. Chakra, of--his student? That was about the time when the Hatake asked what Jutsu he was trying to preform.

Little did the Sannin know that all he did was change up a simple hand seal. (original: Monkey, Snake, Ox, Bird, Tiger ) And instead of having the target to sleep and working backwards he ended up bringing all of them back in time all together.

Now will the Sannin have to explain to the third and fourth what had happened?
How will he be able to prove himself?
Does Naruto fit into this in any way?
How will Kakashi react now that he may have a chance to save his team mates lives?
How bad will their 'interference' mess up their actual world?
Will Kakashi ever find out the 'brunette' female is his older self?
How will he react?
What kind of joke will Obito crack when he finds out?
What about Minato and his son?
Where is Kushina?

How is the older Konoha taking to the loss?
Will Sarutobi have a heart attack?
Will they believe the truth?
