An old woman who lived far from the city in a peaceful and open space told them she would be glad to take him in. Unknowing of course what he was she was a bit uneasy at first but raised him like her own with plenty of love.
Daewyn lived a happy and quiet life. He didn't really go out to meat people so the only real family or friend he had was the old woman. She unfortunately passed away when he was 16. Daewyn for a while was able to live on his own in the small cottage. He learned already knew how to take care of himself since the old woman knew she wouldn't be with him forever. He was captured about a year after her death and put into slavery.

He has been using his money in criminal activities, but has been quiet about such things, the public unknowing. Only having one butler however, he has become interested in the use of slaves on his estate . . .
Another thing to note, Mortis constantly covers his face with a mask with button eyes. He usually does this after he comes back to life, since his face is still recovering.

- Amanda sat there in the stall or room cage whatever you wanted to call it. She was currently creating little tips of fire with her fingers. She made a fire ball and tossed it from hand to hand as she sat there. She had been at this place for about two months now. The previous 'master' she had had made her kill her own parents for the fun of it and then gave her back to the slave shop. She didn't really know if she wanted to go to a new 'master' but she knew she would if she had too and she probably did if someone wanted to 'buy' her.

There was a rustle, and a clatter, and a yawn tthat came from one of the cages in the little slave shop. It's morning... Cyrus thought, waking up from a perfect, and really beautiful dream of freedom. As if that was real. It was never real for a slave in this country, unless you were dead. Cyrus heard the bell tingle and the wind rustle and then it subsided. She sat up, brushing the dust off her white shirt and jeans. She coughed from all dust, she was alergic. She looked around, not expecting to be seen by anyone since she was the one at the end of the hall. She blew her hair away from her face, and put her knees to her chest.
