![]() Alana-Ray Eltsina ![]() There they stand, the innumerable stars.. Alana was slightly taken back when he snapped at her. She hadn't realized that he despised it so much. Sure, she had noticed that he seemed a bit annoyed, but enough to talk back to her like that? Alana merely stood there for a moment, and after a short time she would finally blink just once before turning around and walking back towards the stove. Her place of peace. She turned the sausage again, probably for longer than she should have. She should have just turned it and left it alone, and yet, she continued. It was her distraction as she thought. It gave her something to do, something to keep her hands busy. She was a bit.. bothered. Ikamo was something she wasn't use to dealing with. The normal rebellious slave was usually easy to take care of. They give in fairly quick. Alana never has to deal with them on such a personal level. He had too much spirit, one that she didn't quite want to break. What else was she to do though? Alana drained the noodles in a colander that she had placed in the second side of the sink. Steam quickly filled the air above the skin, and she was careful not to let the hot vapor burn her delicate skin. She shook the colander a few times to get rid of the excess water, then she would set it down on the counter. The noodles were done. The sauce was simmering on the stove. The sausage was done, and Alana would quickly remove them from the skillet and place them on a plate covered with paper towels, to dry them from the extra grease. She would set the plate down on the counter, then without looking back, she would speak. " Would you bring the meatballs over here so that I may cook them? Then, you may eat. " Her voice had become so much softer, like she had lost that cheerful attitude that she had just a short time ago. Though he couldn't see it yet, her smile had faded, leaving her with almost an emotionless expression. She was thinking, and when she thought, she usually did nothing to show what it was about. .. shining in order like a living hymn, written in light. ![]() |
