Lynn Sikorski
Location: Dig Site Company: Juniper. Mood:Normal.
Juniper was quite the character so far. As bosses go she was the most interesting so far, though that had many meanings to Lynn. It was as much as a complement as a joke in her mind. Still Junipers motivation was nothing of question. Lynn thought this as she was spouting about how people would be coming up to the site after they found valuables and possibly auctioning them off. That would be if they happened to find anything of value anyways. For all they knew this placed could of been vacated long before they had came to the site. There was still culture to learn from.
"I'll start work now. As long as we don't butt heads I don't care what you do okay?"
She was giving Lynn free range to do what she wanted. It was unexpected for her to hear that though nice none the less. Still Lynn figured that she would be under direct guidance. Guess her leader ship style is different.
"Explosives could work, but is that safe?"
Lynn was not sure if the explosives would work her self. If this door had lasted this long it would of been made from something sturdy. And there was no telling how thick that door was. The safety was a iffy concern for her. There were two people and all they had to do was rig the explosives in such a way that they could detonate with them being a safe distance down the mountain. There were still plenty of unforeseeable consequences from the using explosives on the door.
Watching has Juniper drew her sword Lynn figured she would try to open the door with her weapon. She did not say it be she was 100% behind the notion that it would be a foolish idea to try to use the sword on the locking mechanism. A sigh came from her bosses mouth as the sword was returned to its sheath. She realized it was not the best idea as well.
"Do you know anywhere that sells explosives?"
"Sadly... no, but I think the town has an inventor so we can possibly commission him to make a shaped charge to penetrate the area we need so we can minimize the potential damage done to the ruins." Lynn wanted to keep as much of this place as intact as she could. This gambit with the explosives is the last of the last cards in the deck of options. She watched as Juniper placed her hands on the door. It looked like she was thinking from where Lynn was standing.
Stepping away from the door her boss went to a spot, dropped to her knees and began to dig. Though there was something odd about how she was going about the whole task. She dismissed to being her personal style. That was until she flat out asked:
"Waaait. Do I have to use a shovel or something?"
Lynn stopped mid stride with her jaw almost hitting the dirt. Thankfully her back was to Juniper or the evidence disbelief would of blinded her. Regaining her composure Lynn turned around and answered. "A shovel isn't really the best idea in my opinion right now. But it make it easier than using your hands.if you do use a shovel might want to sift it just in case something was buried in the dirt for some reason. Like old coins for example."
(OCC: Yeeeaaah. cranked out a post finally)
