▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Yumi half smiled at the comment that Remy had made earlier. She had a feeling that the girl was trying to compliment her, but it was an odd sort of compliment.  It was okay though, it was still a nice time. After  spending quite awhile around her, Yumi began to realize that the girl used the words 'crimey' and 'bogus' a whole lot. It fit the girl's personality though; she enjoyed listening to Remy say it a lot. It was like a catchphrase 'I wonder what my catch phrase would be..' she wondered as her eyes trailed up towards the sky. The clouds danced very slowly across it, but there were only one or two in sight. "That cloud looks like a cat." she sub-consciously muttered out loud before her eyes went back to meet with the crowd. Her face brightened up at the sound of something about a challenge.

The girl finally found her attention back at Grey, who began to speak to her again. Her hand reached up to rub at her arm again, slightly laughing when he had also made the same mistake as her. "S-sorry! sorry, that was my fault. I'm not good with words." she admitted shamefully, knowing that she had no social skills whatsoever. Remy spoke up at the two, snapping at them. Yumi figured it was because she and Grey were having the most pathetic conversation out of them all. Both of them seemed to be having problems with forming sentences. "Mwo-? I was confused too I suppose. But thanks. I um.. I guess I like my name too" she said, a bit flustered. "It's quite okay though.. Er- about being flustered. I can't really.. Talk?" the end of her sentence once came out in question form.

Another cat.. Actually the cat from earlier had came up again, patting the boys hair. The cat was so cute in Yumi's mind. She couldn't afford to have pets though. In the mornings she was sleeping or getting chores done, and when night came around she was tending to the customers at the bar. "I wish I could have a pet." she watched Grey pet the cat as she began to smile. Remy was blaming the cat again, and all Yumi could really do was giggle at her.  "Its nice to meet you both.." she said to the two before lightly blushing. Her ears perked up at the words 'drinking contest', a small mischievous smile appeared on the girls face "I guess it sounds like I'll be getting some business tonight." she nodded to herself. "Oh- yeh. I work at the tavern.. I mean.. I own the tavern." she explained to Grey.

OOC: I edited my last post on accident T-T

Nuregami Mizu Okami

[My Location?] Heading to the square [The one I'm with] No one yet [Mood] Happy/Nervous

Animals are my life
I live for my animals

User Image User Image User Image User Image

Nuregami was doing the same old thing she always did, write inside her diary. She always wrote in it in a sort of letter format to the same people as always, her parents. "Done!" she said as she dropped the pencil on her desk and woke everyone up and set up there food. "Itegami, Kazugami, Amaterasu, Chibiterasu, Kabegami, Michigami brothers come to eat!!!" In a flash they all woke up and went to eat in their corresponding dished, she then took a large hay bail from her shed and took it to the backyard where a large white horse was waiting to be fed, "Here you go, I hope you like it," Nure said as she stroked his broad back. "Ah! I forgot to give you a name, I'll call you Kazugami, may this name give you the fastest feet in all of Bluebell Valley," she said to the horse, the tall horse looked at her an nudged her in delight. Nure then looked into the eye of Kazugami and said with a warm voice, "I will always be by you so prepare to accept me as your rider."She patted him on the side and went inside to grab her stuff before she left the house warning them, "I better not find the house a mess by the time I get back, I'll be here as soon as I can so that later we can go outside to hear music. It is the new year festival after all."

Nuregami hurried herself and stopped when she passed her cherry blossom tree. She watered it for a bit and then continued on her walk to the animal clinic a looked into the window, I wonder when Ill get to see to new doctor, I can't wait to learn under his guidance she thought with a smile on her face, she then left the clinic and continued on her way to the town square where she saw many people. She stopped and hid behind a tree at the end of the square overlooking the group and said with a sigh, "Haaa so many people are here for the festival, makes me nervous seeing so many strange people in one place.. Maybe I should go before anyone notices me... Ack!" she said as she noticed someone(Garret) coming near her and hid on the other side of the tree.

User ImageRitsuka
Location:Out and about Currently with:Muse. Mood:relaxed

Ritsuka listened to Muse speak of her old towns, he loved hearing about other places. Ritsuka hadn't travled much, but it seemed so fun to do so. It sounded interesting, and he liked hearing about it. Great food... that reminded him of his sister, and how great of a baker she was. Maybe he'd ask her to bake something for Muse, as a welcoming gift, but Mia hadn't told him yet when she was planning to move here anyway. He shrugged the thoughts away, "Wow, that sounds like fun. Traveling around and such." He commented and gave her a small smile. It did sound like fun. Maybe some day Ritsuka could visit another town, but he felt like Bluebell Valley would always be his home. The city wasn't his home anymore, the only reasons to go back would be to visit and shop, and see his father.

Glancing up at her he felt the breeze push his hair into his face, he moved his hair out of his deep purple eyes and smiled slightly, thinking for a short moment. None of his stories would be as interesting as hers! He only was a city boy, who moved out into a little town called Bluebell Valley. The city was much bigger, but he liked it here more. "Oh, well nothing too interesting. I was born in the city, but i moved here a few years ago. This place seems much more like home than the city." He explained with a faint smile, he rememberd the city. So big, so many places, so many people, but none of that felt welcoming and warm like this place did. Sure, he missed the city once in a while, but he could always go visit his father, even if it was a far travel.

Today is amazing~

Tomorrow will be great~

But today is a gift...

That is why they call it the present~

Marshall smiled at all the commotion going on. People were coming to the town square and the staff was already beginning to set up. He listened to Ellis speak, snickering about Charle's reaction and Ellis' as well. "Hey, when you start, I usually can't stop you." He replied to Ellis, rubbing the back of his neck with a grin. "Say, do you wanna go back to the office with me? I have some things to do but I sure would enjoy the company." He asked her, but didn't really wait for an answer. Before she could decline to accept his offer, he grabbed her hand and led her off down the road to the Mayor's office.

((Sorry for shortness, I really just woke up and I'm just trying to get somewhere))

Sakana felt sort of. . .odd at the moment. There were so many people around that it almost made her dizzy. She was about to great more people before she started coughing a little bit. It only lasted a moment or two, but she made sure to cover her mouth and such. She sighed once it calmed down before adjusting herself back to normal. She fixed her hat before looking around. Everyone was busy at the moment anyways, so she didn't wish to bother them. Sakana figured she might as well go to the flower shop to check the flowers now. She turned on her heels before heading out of the town square. It seemed like everyone was asking each other to see the fireworks and such together since it was New Year's and all. Sakana had. . .sort of hoped she'd get asked, but it wasn't a big deal. Sakana was never good with boys, she never really knew what to say or just felt stupid saying anything sometimes. There were a lot of cute boys in this town though, she had to admit. Was this town really for her though? Sakana had been sent here from the city by her parents since the city was not very good for her health. Though, she thought she'd go back one day. She did miss her parents very much and wished to be able to see them again. But, she was getting older and living with her parents would seem like a burden on them as well.

Sakana looked to the sky above and smiled a little bit, she'd figure something out. It didn't take long before she arrived at the Flower Shop. Outside, there were some baskets and pots with flowers that would get the beautiful sunshine of the day. Sakana grabbed the watering can that was near the flowers before filling it with some water from the faucet they had on the side. Sure they had a hose, but Sakana preferred to just use a watering can to get water spread about evenly. She filled it up before she began to go around to each planet and watered them very carefully. Sakana seemed to always be good at gardening. She always watered plants with just the right amount, without drowning the planet or having it too dry. While watering the plants, Sakana couldn't help but hum a small tune to herself. She loved to sing, but would never admit it. After a moment she began to sing a song that she had actually came up with herself called Monochrome. She didn't sing very loud, but loud enough for her to hear herself of course. Sakana never really liked singing in front of other people, she felt embarrassed to sing.

Indent Her smile coaxed a brighter grin from Will, glad to see her relaxing some. " Heh, go for it! I'd be glad to show ya around. " His farm was one of the things that he was honestly, truly proud of, and he always enjoyed having visitors come by to see the result of his hard work. Not to mention some of the animals - mostly his two pets and the horses - quite enjoyed having somebody else come by. The young man laced his hands behind his head, leaning his skull back into his palms a little as he grinned and nodded slightly. " It's nice to meet you too, Mia~ " Her mention of being a baker made his eyes light up. It was amazing the farmer was as thin as he was, with his undying love for baked goods and sweets. " You can expect to see me at your bakery sometime then! "

Indent After a moment William let his arms drop back to his sides, ever restless. " You won't be disappointed~ Bluebell really knows how to do festivals, lemme tell ya. " Still grinning, much like an excited boy half his age, he turned towards the town square and began to walk off towards it at a leisurely pace. " The more the merrier! Personally, I wouldn't object to any baking~ " He chuckled a little, before his eyes caught on someone up ahead on one edge of the square. He lifted an arm to wave in Garret's direction. " Hey, Garret! " For a moment he looked back to Mia, fully intent on dragging her over to start introducing her to the villagers. " He's a little quirky, but a nice guy. Come on~ " Without waiting for an answer he hustled on over to the inventor. " Garret, this is Mia. She's new in town. Mia, this is Garret. " Though he wasn't entirely sure how to introduce him aside from that. The local inventor? Creator of strange things? Deciding to just leave it as it was, Will smirked a little, looking quite pleased with himself for getting his new companion meeting other people.

Indent So involved in her work was Lillian that she didn't even hear the door opening, the quiet footsteps as somebody came inside; she just shelved another book, then looked down to the spine of the next one in her hands. But when a voice spoke - even if quiet and shy - she jumped a little, turning around quickly with wide eyes and glasses slipping down her nose. There stood a young man she couldn't say she knew; though he probably couldn't see her, hidden behind one of the shelves as she was. The young woman swallowed, putting her armful of books back on the cart and pushing up her glasses before stepping out into plain sight.

Indent " G-Good morning, " she greeted quietly, tucking a slightly wavy strand of dark hair behind one pierced ear. The woman offered a shy little smile, stepping forward slowly. She couldn't say she actually expected anybody to come by today; usually business was non-existent on festival days. " S-Sorry. I was just putting some of the books away.... " She shifted her feet a little, glancing down awkwardly for a moment in a vain attempt to muster up some confidence before looking up again. " I-I, ah... Don't believe we've met. " One small hand reached out to shake, her smile warm, but still a touch nervous. Meeting new people wasn't exactly her forte. Really, she was just lucky only one person had come in rather than some group. " I'm Lillian Granger, the librarian here.... "

Rayn was a little started himself, before seeing the outstretched hand and reached his own out, shaking it lightly. The hand was soft, and she seemed to be surprised he actually came in. He was a bit nervous himself, and he could tell she truly wasn't expecting him to come in on such short notice. He started to look into her eyes a bit, before remembering what he was doing. The eye contact made him a little uneasy, as it usually was a weapon used in school, not actually used in real conversation. He let her hand go, and decided he should say something to break the silence.

”Morning. I'm Rayn, and I work at the clinic,” he grinned lightly, the corners of his mouth lightly twitching with nervousness. ”I was looking to see what there was. I was so used to hiding in libraries that I had a standing order on new books and classics. I'm fairly new here, so new I hardly even know my boss.” A light pause started between his words, as he tried to analyze what she had just said. ”Would you like help with your work? It seems to be a lot for one person.”

He started to move toward the cart, his fingers running past the titles within his reach. He had recognized a few, but there were so many authors he had never heard of. Part of him wanted to dive right in, but he remembered he had to get back outside and finish the booths so that he could start cleaning the clinic as soon as possible. It was already 9:00, and it didn't seem like everyone else was planning to work. He at least wanted to help someone who really could use it then and there.

Doctor Olivar Asano Kubara

Olivar simply watched as all the other villagers began to awaken and head toward where all the activity was. Although he was only twenty two years of age, he had been working as the Clinic Doctor for as long as he could remember, almost literally. He enjoyed the festivals and holidays, although it usually meant he would be busy in the clinic the next day helping people deal with hangovers and stomach aches from over-eating. He was almost lost in thought.

He heard Rayn ask the Mayor if he could help with the decorations. The mayor told him to ask him but before Olivar could respond, Ray had already left. He was actually going to tell him that he didnt mind and that he didnt really need to ask him about such things. Apparently no one ever seemed to remember that he closed the clinic on holidays and festival days. He would have to remember to place a sign up later to tell anyone who came by.

Shortly after, Sakana told him about the herbs that her and her Nana were growing and he told himself that he would stop by somtime to look and see what types of herbs they were. He worried for her health. She never told him about her condition but being a doctor, he could see that something was wrong. She left the group though, probably to go tend her flowers.

This was when Remy challenged him to a drinking match later. He knew that she was agitated that he normally beat her at such challenges. For a doctor, he could truly hold his liquor and it was very hard to get him drunk, though he quite enjoyed drinking with friends.
"Gladly Remy, but no using magic to boost your constitution." He called out as she walked away. He noticed that everyone seemed to be slitting off into their own little groups.

He chose now to go off and check on the clinic as well as drop off his notes on the herbs.
"I'll see you all later. I need to check on the Clinic." He said to no particular party but anyone who heard would know where he went. As he went around the corner to his clinic, he had a small coughing fit. He wasn't worried. It was probably just from overworking. He knew he needed more rest, but he preferred to work most of the time, helping the villagers and collecting data on herbs and picking those that were ready to be used. When he reached the clinic, he placed his notes on his desk and pulled out a large piece of blank paper. He wrote his message on it: The Clinic will be closed due to the Festivities going on in the Town Square. If anyone wishes to find me, i can either be found there, or if it is later, i can be found in the Tavern outdrinking all challengers! Also, Ray, If you tried to come back here while the festivities are still going on, GO BACK and Enjoy yourself. New Years only comes once a year. Signed, Doctor Olivar Kubara. He felt that it was adequite and attached it to the front of the clinic door before heading back to the Town Square.

                                              Dear Liam,

Son, I am dearly sorry I could not be with you to celebrate New Year’s with you. That means you can’t drink anything without my supervision (haha). The office called once again, and they really need me! The company is thinking of doing a major collaboration; remember the one we were discussing? Yeah, with that big business that had over 13 million customers worldwide! This could be a big thing for us, and they need me there of course, as the main brain. This could be big son, I promise I would make it up, I know you wanted to spent this holiday with me, since I missed Christmas. I promised I will not do anything for your 19th birthday.

Please take care of yourself and be careful if you do have to go out into the mines today. I left you more than enough money for anything you may want to buy. Throw a party if you like, I won’t say a word when I get back.

                                              Love, Dad

PS; Oh, man! You ARE 19, where has the time GONE? That's rhetorical, I can already the heart-wrenching answer you'd come up with.

Liam crushed the note in his hand and let out a tired sigh. He ran a hand through his red hair and looked around the lonely, large home. Was he serious? He was going to do business on New Years Day? He was supposed to celebrate with his son. Wasn't he more important than work for once? Liam never opened his mouth to complain, no matter how much it actually hurt for his Dad to never be there. By now, at 19 years old, Liam barely acknowledged it. It no long bothered him. He just got so irritated with broken promises. At least....he would have the people at work and the Cafe to celebrate with? Of course, most of them could drink, and who didn't want to get drunk on New year’s? With the exception of Liam of course.. He saw way too many villagers drunk off their asses when it wasn’t even new years . " Thanks, Dad" Liam replied to himself, dragging his feet across the kitchen floor. He had found the note attached to the fridge, a place Liam only went to in the morning to get rid of that dry feeling in his mouth when he woke up. He could not cook to save his life, which his father never considered. Liam always had to settle to putting together a microwave meal when he was too fatigued to out to the Cafe, or when the mines had not been too good to him.

The young male opened the fridge, downing half a carton of orange juice, satisfied he did not have to worry about his father storming in and tell him to use a cup. But, part of him actually did want the man to yell at him. Without out his father raspy voice in the morning, it reminded Liam he was alone. He was used to it, so why did it bother him so much? Liam threw away the orange juice carton, sighing as he just realized the Cafe' was closed, wasn’t it a holiday? What would he do now? His bright eyes searched the fridge desperately, hoping something would magically appear. Nope, he had not time to restock the fridge, so of course hi father would not take the time to do it the days he was here. "Great...” The teen huffed, grabbing a container of applesauce and settling for that for the time being...

Tearing off the top, not bothering to grab a spoon, Liam downed the applesauce as he walked back to his bedroom. He wanted to stay home the entire day, sleep-in or something. But, being home in the complete silent would drive him crazy inside. He had to be outside; he had to enjoy the fresh air. He had to listen to the birds chirp, smell the scent of dirt and trees. He had to explore...there was just something about the earth he truly loved. He did not love being trapped in the house, alone.

Liam quickly made haste toward the shower, stripping off his pajama bottoms and showering. It only took him a half hour to get completely clean, washing his hair included. He felt like he was in a rush, anything to hurry and escape the silence of his home. Liam grabbed an outfit from his closet, pulling it off its hanger. He quickly pulled the shirt over his small frame before pulling on his lightly colored pants. Liam never got hot, he hated the cold, therefore the smallest spring breeze would cause him to shiver. He pulled on a small jacket and a hat. For what reason did he put on a hat? He just really liked wearing hats…

After he was fully dressed, he grabbed his keys, heading out his large home. He made sure the door was lock before staring up at his house. He father had paid a lot for a home he was never in. Nice red brick, cozy interior design, it was a shame he never got to fully appreciate the home. Liam stared at his feet as he walked down the dirt road that connected his home to the rest of the town. Where was he headed exactly? He had no idea what he would so today. His plans had been completely designed by the man who raised him. He could go to the general store, but he had dressed far too nicely for that. He would certainly go visit his boss, just to see if he could get ahead on any work. The red haired male started down the path, his hands shoved in his pockets.

Garret "Fuse" Jenkins Innovator, Inventor, Genius

WorkaholicWell, so much for getting away without interacting with someone. Hearing his name be called out caused Garret to curse to himself. The inventor bit his lip as he saw ahead of himself a somewhat familiar face, what was the dudes name? Will or something. Wasn't he the farmer or something? That sounded about right, the only reason why the farmer was familiar was because Garret a time or two before had offered ideas on how to improve the farms equipment and tools. By editing or inventing something better.
WorkaholicWatching as Will dragged over some unfamiliar girl, Garret quirked a brow at the two as Will took it upon himself to introduce them. "Nice to meet ya' " 'I guess' Was his flat response, followed along with a grumbling thought to himself. Well, so long as this introduction stayed in a small group like this, maybe staying in the square would be tolerable, for the time being.

MUSE WINDTAKER

xxxxxxxxxxxx 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓻

▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬

❝Those born to the sea, with its roll and its swell,
Know the faces and names of those patterns so well.
And each night on the ocean's a story to tell,
But the only observers are stars.❞

Muse merely shrugged at the idea of traveling. Sure it was fun to begin with when "being tied down" to one place for the rest of your life but it slowly became...her life. Being nomadic was her dream when she was younger but that was only because of how isolated and lonely Rosecreek had been. Maybe, if it wasn't so frequent, traveling would be fun again. Till then, it was her job.

"The city you say?" Muse then asked "I have yet to be there." It would most likely be her next stop after Bluebell. The woman had heard many things about the city, ranging from good to bad and everywhere in between. The only way to know what life was like there was if she were to go there herself. Then again, did she really want to? Well, at this point no but her mind could change in a year or so. It's not like it hadn't before. Muse then shot her gaze to Ritsuka and watched him for a moment. He too had just recently moved as well, hm? Curious about this she then asked "Did you leave lots of people behind? Or was it just yourself?" The snowy haired woman had lots of questions about this but decided to stray away from all of that for now. She just met him and already she acted like she had known him for years. Strange, wasn't it? Still, Muse watched as they began to walk past some houses which meant they were getting closer and closer to town. She had never noticed how cute Bluebell was!

    OOC: Fail post. Next time it'll be better ^_^;

Nuregami slid herself away from the upcoming group of people and hurried along on her way to see if the general store was opened, Itegami and the rest would really like some souveniors when I get back from.. the... Ah man! Nuregami suddenly stopped to smack her face with her sleeve, Ugh I completely forgot that I was closed on Monday... Ack even more so that its a festival day as well. So embarrassing, she thought as she started to tear in embarrassment of her dumb mistake. She picked up her long hair and started walking away from the store frusterated and with her head buried in her hair and sleeve.

She stamped on the streets away from the square when she triped and fell. She did not land on the ground though as she opened her eyes and saw in her fogged up vision a head of red hair... or was it orange.. Blond?? She backed away for a second and wipped away her tears and said frantically, "I'm so very sorry! Are you ok, did I hurt you with my fall? Was your outfit ruined by my tears?!" Her pale face was getting more and more flustered as she did not know what to do in a situation like this, she only knew how to deal with animals, not people.

With Marshall I'm going to go where? Town Square Black pleated skirt and a white button-up shirt

"Eh? Doesn't change the fact that you were supposed to look out for my best interest. I mean come on Marshall, I'm five inches shorter than you~ What could a drunk me possibly do to you?" Ellis replied with a small sigh as she shook her head with disappointment. Well at least she knew that relying on the town mayor to keep her sober during the holidays was merely too much for him to handle...she really should consider finding another person to take care of her. Her blue-green eyes narrowed slightly she looked back towards Marshall, seeming rather suspicious of her friend. "That means that you still know what happened last night more than I do! C'mon...at least tell me that I didn't make a fool of myself."

At the sudden invitation, Ellis could not help but blink in confusion. She looked around at the other people in their little group, wondering if maybe it was offered to someone other than herself, but that thought was soon shot to hell when Marshall grabbed her by the hand and began to pull her along with her. Suspicious indeed. The last time he dragged her off like this, Ellis was made to lick envelopes for several hours as he just sat behind his desk and smiled innocently at her.

"Company? You never ask for company unless I bring you something from the tea house...you want me to lick envelopes again?!" Ellis cried out in protest as she extended her hand out to Emily, hoping that the waitress would save her from her cruel fate.

Mia
Bakery's baker
Currently with: William, Garret Location: Near town square Mood:Content

Mia smiled brightly hearing should would have customers at the bakery, she was also excited to hear that he wouldn't mind her stopping by the farm either. She was glad she could relax and enjoy his company, rather than feeling like she was such a bother to him. She nodded, the festivals in towns like Bluebell Valley just seemed more fun than festivals in the city. She couldn't wait for tonight, where she could meet new people and find her brother. It seemed as though she arrived on the perfect day, she got to experience a festival on her first day living here! She glanced around herself, the trees were huge with large leaves swaying in the wind, she loved the trees. In the city, there weren't much of them. She glanced over to Will as he spoke again. He was greeting another man near by.

Urging her to come along, she followed him over to the other man. She smiled faintly at him. He didn't seem so excited to meet her, she waved shortly, "Hello." She simply said. She didn't want to bug him if he didn't want to talk. She learned that in the city, don't bother people. Tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, she shifted her weight between feet, she wondered how many people were in this town, up a little further was a group of people in the distance, but she kept her focus on the two men she was with now.

((Sorry, kinda short ))

Location:Out and about Currently with:Muse. Mood:relaxed

Ritsuka was slightly surprised she hadn't been to the city, after all, she had been to several places, she was a traveler, but a lot of people hadn't been to the city, it was far from any towns like Bluebell Valley. Her next questions sent flashbacks tumbling through his mind. His father, and his younger sister. He remembered walking his sister to the store to buy an icecream cone in the summer. Then when his father had brought them home a candy bar when he got home from work sometimes. He smiled lightly, "My father and sister still live in the city. My sister was talking about moving to Bluebell Valley sometime soon as well." He replied. He sighed lightly.

Sometimes he missed his sister and father, and always his mother. He could at least see his sister and father, but it was a far travel. Maybe some day Ritsuka would visit one of the islands nearest to their shore line. That sounded like fun to Ritsuka, he liked a cool vacation once in a while. He wouldn't like to travel all the time though, he liked having a home here in Bluebell Valley that he could always come home to, no matter what. He would ask about her family, but he didn't wan't to seem nosey, so he decided against it. Maybe he would later if he got to know her a bit better.
