"Nngh-! The fireworks were so spectacular last night." Juniper muttered as she crawled slowly from her tent. Not just any tent though; the blue colored tarp just so happened to almost be her house. The bright glint of the sun was blinding for the blue haired girl. She rubbed at her eyes before reaching up at the sun to stretch. Sleeping on the ground really took a toll on her muscles and joints. Her body felt stiff and tight; almost like she couldn't move. "I've really got to get that checked." she placed her hands on her hips as she twisted and turned, looking like she was practically trying to break herself in half. When none of the stretches seemed to work Juniper finally gave up and dropped to the ground in triumph. The feel of the earth underneath her skin was somewhat calming. Gross as it may seem, but Juniper was always looking for an excuse to dig her nails into the ground. It seemed all too common to walk around looking like she lived in a dirt cave.

The events of last night were far away from her memory by now. Juniper had pulled what she liked to call the "Major Alcoholic" card on New Years. This basically meant that she had been so intoxicated, that only one or two events from it could be recalled. "I hope I made a fool out of myself." she muttered almost enthusiastically. People's opinions of her just didn't matter much anymore. At least she would make a name for herself. They could believe what they wanted to and so could she. On the other hand though, Juniper never allowed to let things get out of hand.  It didn't seem like that situation happened anyway because for one, her drunk self found her way back to the tent. And she was definately not at the sherrif's place. That concluded that this time around, she was very lucky.

Juniper groaned out of boredness. If she wanted she could test herself with a challenging hike up the mountain, but it was way too early for her to do so. Juniper used her hands to push her up off the floor. Her dainty hand reached down to her sheath, searching for her sword. When all she felt was air, a sharp gasp broke the silence she had been sitting it. "My sword! Where is it?" Juniper practically began flailing her arms as she looked in every nook and cranny. The soft glitter of something in the stream caught the young girl's eye. She paced over and stuck her hand right into the cool flowing water. There it was as she pulled her hand back out with the object; her sword. If it were to be lost- Oh, Juniper could only think of all the dangers she would face. The girl dried the metal on her shorts before kneeling next to the water. She splashed some of the water onto her face before cupping some of the liquid in her hand. Carefully bringing it to her lips, Juniper took a few sips of it. The water quenched her thirst decently.

With nothing really particular to do in her mind Juniper stood straight again before sliding the sword back into its place that rested upon her hip. The sound of the ground crunching underneath her teal ankle boots. She had nowhere to go in mind. All the girl was really doing was wandering aimlessly around the dig site. Who knew? Maybe she'd even find treasure around here somewhere.

"Look around there's no time to waste
life goes on nothing's gonna change
Feel the winds of life blowing cold."

So he had been wrong about her guess? It would not be the first time. Still, he found himself frowning a bit as she talked. Sometimes he really should think about his words before he said them... but that would require energy and patience. The first one could be a bit of a problem, but the second one really had him. Patience was not a virtue he possessed. If something was happening, then why waste time pondering on it?

Though it was nice to hear that she loved her job. It was nice to know that someone loved doing their occupation, that someone had a choice into their life. Cafe work had been determined for Jonathan since the day he was born. It's not to say that he does not enjoy it, but he was expecting something else from himself. It was generic to say that he dreamed of something more, but it really applies to him. Not a day had passed that he had not dreamed of life in the larger cities... though he still doubted that it would ever happen with him.
"That's a nice thing to hear about," he replied, with a hint of envy in his voice.

He blinked a couple times when she asked about a new archaeologist. That sounded familiar... maybe that was what those people were talking about at the cafe yesterday.
"Well, I did hear something about a new person moving in town. I do not know if it's the archaeologist you heard about or not, though rumor has it that whoever it was had been spotted at the Dig Site," he said, wrapping her finished breakfast inside a bag. Placing it on the counter, he also grabbed her cup of coffee and placed it next to her breakfast. "There you are. And the coffee is freshly brewed, so it's going to be hot," he warned her. She would probably know that by now, but he figured it was nice to at least let them know. Or it can be a slip of habit, always warning others about the food and drinks.

"It won't take so long as you are growing old
there is no answer to be found
it is so easy to fall without a sound..."

This is our stage: at the cafe.
Who is sharing the spotlight? Giselle, and Lynn.
My current aura: energized, if not a little enthusiastic.
Hmm, I'm out of chocolate...: ((...))

Location: Cafe Company: Johnathan. Mood:Normal.

Placing the payment she thought was enough Lynn took both items. "Thanks for the food... and informing me of some one at the dig site. See ya around." Was what Lynn said before she turned around and left the cafe. Lynn cut to the east side of town and followed it up passing behind the blacksmiths, jewelers, and another shop. When she was on the trail to the mountain it did not take her long to get to the dig site had she knew a few short cuts.

It was quite obvious to anyone with eyes where the dig site grounds began as there were tents set up. Lynn passed most of them in an auto-pilot mode until she got to an A framed tent. unzipping the door Lynn stepped in and placed the coffee and omelet on the desk inside the tent. Lynn went through the tent opening up all the windows letting the sun fill the tent with light. Upon opening the last tent window, which was right by the door she used to enter, Lynn noticed a blue haired woman wandering around the site and she was carrying a sword. Who the hell is that?! Lynn thought when she realized it was a sword the woman was carrying. Sure Johnathan mentioned there was a archeologist at the site now but it could of not been this woman. Well if I live through this I'm getting something for up here....

Stepping out of the tent Lynn approached the woman. Lynn stopped a good distance away from the woman, because she was not to keen on dealing with a sword today... or ever. "Excuse me? Are you here for the dig site or did you get lost?" Lynn's voice was some what hostile when she asked but the presence of the womans sword was not making Lynn comfortable

"Excuse me? Are you here for the dig site or did you get lost?"

Juniper froze in her tracks when a woman's voice was heard from behind her. Her hand gripped onto the hilt of the sword, ready to draw it at any moments notice. Never did the girl kill a person with the sword but it just made situations a whole lot more comfortable. People these days were like snakes; Mysterious and shrouded in odarkness. They could strike her at a moments notice, and Juniper had to always be prepared if the situation should occur. "Maybe I am. What does it matter to you? I know where I am." she replied in a whole string of sentences without pause. Juniper came off as a cold person at first but she couldn't really help it. Atleast this person was a woman; she had a tendency to be more hostile when it came to men "I may be looking for the digsite. This is my tent." her hand motioned towards the blue tent in the distance.

"Ahem. Allow me to formally introduce myself. My name-" Juniper motioned to herself by placing her hand to her chest. An amused smirk began to tug at the girls' lips. "is Juniper Louise Adams. It's a pleasure to have you in my presence." she would've extended her hand out in a greeting, but she would not take her hand off her sword for anyone. Her free hand rose to run a hand through her short hair. Juniper always favored having short hair over long hair. With this time of silence the girl began to survey the woman in front of her. She wore loose clothing and her hair was almost the same as Juniper's, except it was a pink-ish color. 'I like her hair.' she thought before nodding at the girl approvingly.

"Please excuse my attitude. I suppose you seem alright." her hand which once rested on the sword fell back to her side. The girl in front of her concluded to be no threat, and her sword seemed to be making this situation an uncomfortable one. "I'm the new archeologist. But this town is a bit too confusing for me. Not like I remember anything about arriving here last night." Last night Juniper began drinking as soon as she arrived and laid her eyes on the alcohol. "By the way. Do you know where the dig site is?"

Rayn started walking back through town square, wondering what time it was. He had a bag full of food, and he knew he probably spent too much time getting everything together. He ran through simple recipes, trying to think what he could make that would be tasteful and good for Guy’s situation. The coffee was another thing. He didn’t know how black he wanted it, and was unsure if the clinic’s meager drink supplies were enough.

”So a light omelet, with a side of toast and coffee or tea…” he pondered, trying to think about what else he was missing.

He started to come up on the clinic, finalizing the plans he had in his head. He realized his walk was a bit much, but he had to be picky about ingredients. Even when everything was great, he quickly learned that there is still a higher class in the highest class products. He turned the handle of the clinic door, and decided he had to say something.

”I’m back! I’ll have food ready quick.”

Rayn slipped into the kitchen, pondering whether or not an open door was a good idea. He pushed it aside, as he rolled up his sleeves, cracking eggs and getting them ready for Guy to eat. The toast sat on the pan, cooking quickly after he had finished the vegetable omelet. He made sure the coffee was going well, and had it all in the French press hardly used in the office. Slicing an apple into a few slices to finish the plate, he thought about how medicine was the only option he had thought if when he came to Bluebell. Cooking as a profession never came to mind. He shook his head, and brought out the meal on a tray for Guy, with a few extra cups and hot water for tea if either one of them wanted it.

                              ”Breakfast is served.”

He placed the meal in front of Guy, and went out to grab his chair from his desk. He pulled out another book that he was studying with, mainly trying to find methods to ease the stress of medical practice he engaged in rarely. He kept an ear to their conversation, but didn’t want to disturb them so much. He still was unsure about how to interact with others he hardly knew.

Lynn Sikorski

Location: Dig Site Company: Juniper. Mood:Tense.

The whole situation was escalating rather quickly. It was obvious Lynn had caught this blue haired woman off guard when her hand bolted to the sword ready to draw it. Lynn's hand twitched as if she wanted to move for a firearm. One that was completely non existent. Lynn's inquiry seamed to push this woman even deeper in to frustration and more so she apparently was here deliberately.

"I may be looking for the dig site. This is my tent." The woman's hand motioned to a blue tent not to far off in the distance away from the main grouping of tents the dig site used. Shortly after the woman introduced her self as Juniper Louise Adams, though the exact manner she introduced her self Lynn got the feeling she was a bit egotistical. Or just had misinterpreted the way she had said it.

With a blink of an eye things started to calm down and Juniper released her grip on the sword and let it rest at her side.

"I'm the new archeologist. But this town is a bit too confusing for me. Not like I remember anything about arriving here last night."
So this was the woman Johnathan was talking about in the cafe. "By the way. Do you know where the dig site is?"

Lynn nodded and let her self relax more. Her obviously tense posture released its self. It was nice to have that position filled. Now they could make some real progress, though the fact she did not know where the site was exactly kind of made Lynn do a mental jaw drop. "It's right over there." Lynn pointed over her shoulder with her left hand towards the tents. "Name's Lynn I was the only one working up here for a while." Lynn extended her right hand out for a hand shake in the usual manner she greeted people. "Nice to know my boss almost pulled a sword on me on the first day." Lynn smirked a bit when she said this.

((OOC))

Seems like she was cheerful. He would really be looking forward to showing her a bit of what he knew, as well as giving her a tour around town. He'd start with the tour of course. As soon as he could stand and walk. Wasn't good to lay around in bed all the time after all, so he'd need to walk as soon as he possible could. But she didn't have to be so formal. Not to mention that being called "Mister" made him sound old.

"No need to be so formal. Just call me Guy. Mister doesn't really suit me. Makes me sound like an old man."

He said, chuckling a bit. It did sound kind of like she was a little girl speaking to an older man. It was kind of cute, except for the part that made him sound old. But he'd rather be called by his name rather than his surname.

"And don't worry. Once I can walk I'll give you a tour. Never good to just lay around."

But for the moment, he should probably avoid moving around as much as possible. Would be for the best. But at the least he did seem to put her in a good mood. That was a good sign. Seems as if he just made a new friend huh?

Listening to what she said, she had no idea how much he'd rather just get up and walk away from here. He was easily restless. If she hadn't been here he'd be bored half to death, even with a book. This town wasn't that big, so not much did happen. Especially not in the clinic. But he was curious about what she meant about being in hospital beds many times. She was sickly perhaps and went in and out of hospitals? And she had a brother as well? She was really starting to perk his curiosity.

"You been in and out of hospitals a lot I assume? How come?"

He just couldn't help but to ask, but as she apologized for bothering him, he gave a somewhat nervous smile. She really thought that she was bothering him? He wouldn't be able to sleep even if he tried to right now, besides, he'd rather have company than to just lay around alone, so she wasn't bothering him at all.

"You're not a bother. I'd rather have someone to talk with rather than lay around alone. I'd just get restless and end up doing something stupid. So don't worry. You're pretty interesting after all."

Looking up as Rayn came back, telling them that he'd have some food ready soon. The guy was certainly quick. Quite the hard worker, wasn't he? But it was just qualities of someone who would become a great doctor some day. He certainly did show that he cared about the patients after all. That was a rarity. so when Rayn came with the tray, as well as something for both him and Minaru to drink, Guy really wasn't sparing any praise.

"Thanks Rayn, it looks great. You really take your job serious, don't you? At this rate, I bet you'll surpass Olivar in no time."

He wasn't lying either. He bet that one day, Rayn would be better than Olivar at this job. There was no doubt in his mind. Just as long as Olivar didn't rub his bad sides off on Rayn. Like sticking a hand into an over wound and dig around a persons guts. If anyone would do that to him again, he'd rather kill himself. He did not want to go trough it once more. He didn't want to experience that more than once in his life. It was bad enough.

Juniper stood on her tiptoes to look at the place where Lynn was pointing towards. She quickly nodded before talking a mental note of where it was. It would've been quite the predicament if Juniper had forgotten where her own workplace was. "Ooh. It looks like this will be a great job after all.. Imagine all those artifacts we will uncover. Aha!" just thinking about making new discoveries made her ecstatic. Juniper pulled her sword out, swung it once and placed it into the ground. She leaned against it as it it were some sort of cane. "This'll be just like treasure hunting. We'll be the best!" Juniper had the tendency to over think things. It always made her fantasies seem way out of proportion.. And sometimes better than they actually were. But to her? Working somewhere where she could get her hands dirty was the greatest. "Lynn..? Hmm.. Okay nice to meet you Lynn." the girl stared at the hand that was held out in front of her. Juniper rose her own hand and gripped Lynn's hand, giving her a firm handshake.

"Nice to know my boss almost pulled a sword on me on the first day."

"Very nice isn't it?" she replied with an embarrassed chuckle. If Juniper had known that the girl was going to be her co-worker then maybe it would've been different. At least now Lynn had an interesting story to tell about how she and Juniper had met. Or if Lynn didn't think too well of her then she could use it to make people dislike June. "Ave' you been here long?.. I feel so overdressed" she blurted out before tugging at her top. Compared to other villagers, June definitely stood out in a crowd with her clothes. They technically didn't hide much of her but it hid enough. No one was complaining about it. "Did I bother you just now? I didn't mean to do that. But anyway.. What do you townsfolk usually do out here in Bluebell?" Juniper didn't know why she asked; Lynn did talk to her first after all.

"Mpf.." Yume mumbled as she slowly got up from her bed and stared at her clock. It took her about a minute to realize the clock read 10:30 and no, she wasn't hallucinating. Her eyes widened in surprise as she sighed and scratched her head. She has got to stop sleeping in so much. How many times had that clock rang and she just slammed her hand on it and went back to sleep? "Ugghh..." Yume yawned, tired of thinking about it. I hope nobody wanted to go to the bath house today...but wait..didn't I have an assistant? Oh yeah. I hope he's doing okay while his boss is sleeping in at home. She chuckled a little at the thought and quickly got dressed in jeans and a long blue t-shirt, deciding to ditch the kimono since it wasn't any special day. She tied her hair into a loose low ponytail and hurried down stairs after washing up. It was a pretty simple outfit, but well, it's not like Yume had a fancy wardrobe.

      S
he quickly poured herself a glass of milk and gulped it down, afterwards grabbing a white hoodie and a slice of bread and running out the door. It was almost the same as yesterday. Same routine: get up, look at clock, panic, rush to dress, grab bread, run out of door as fast as you can. "I really need to wake up on time tomorrow! This kind of routine is really tiring me out.." Yume mumbled into the wind as she ran. It sure was a little windy today. Maybe she should have worn a warmer shirt? Well, too late for that now. She's already at the bath house. That was fast... Yume thought, before realizing how fast she was running.

      "I
'm here. I'm here. Sorry I'm late..." She stopped to catch her breath, then continued. "I slept in..again. Sorry I had to make you watch the shop..Yggdra." Looking around, she noticed they had a customer: a black haired young man. "Oh, welcome!" She said immediately. "Is there anything we can help you with?" She asked as she realized her breakfast was still in her hand. She gently bit down on the soft bread and went to stand next to Yggdra behind the counter. He was communicating with his notebook again. Oh yeah..he can't speak. Yume remembered, but she didn't mind it now. She's gotten pretty used to it while working with him.

The blonde giggled at his comment, he wasn't old at all he seemed only a few years older than her. She had never thought of it that way, it was just something she had grown used to. "Alright M-" she stopped suddenly, jumping a bit and putting her finger tips gently over her lips. She removed her hand a smiled a little embarrassed. "Guy-kun." she finished happily hoping it wouldn't be too weird adding that last part in. She couldn't call him mister so adding that last part would be okay since she still wanted to be respectful. She was Japanese so it would only make sense, at least to her and other Japanese people.

She thought a moment about what he said, he must have really wanted to get out of bed. From what he's been saying about how long it would be until he got to move again it really emphasized how bad this "accident" of his was. At that second she realized she had probably said too
much about herself, he was probably really curious now. The girl panicked a bit but didn't show it to the man, exhaling slowly she was about to say something to dodge the subject but was interrupted.

"Crap . ." she thought to herself, quickly thinking up an excuse. "Oh nothing too bad," she lied, the girl felt guilty about lying to someone she only just met but it was best for him not to know the truth. She thought it would be better to wait until she knew him better, and until he was in a better condition. "just a few scuffles that's all." the blonde finished letting out a weak laugh. As she tried to speak up she was interrupted once more, she stayed silent for a second then waited to see if he had anything else to say. After a few seconds she finally spoke up.

"Interesting? You really think so?" Minaru giggled a bit, her cheeks gave off heat that made them turn a little pink again. She never really got compliments or talked to people very often so it was very easy to make her blush. As Guy looked up she turned around as well, noticing that Rayn was back. She didn't even notice him come in, and on top of that he had food ready. Was she really talking to the man for so long? She turned back to Guy and gazed at him for a moment, it was the first time in awhile she had a real conversation with someone other than her brother. Turning back to Rayn she looked at him a little upset, "I'm sorry I wish I could have helped, I didn't even notice." her tone was a little sympathetic, she didn't want the boy to think she was rude or hated him or anything like that. She stared at the food, it looked good but she still wish she could have helped a little bit. Her cooking was one of the best, she loved cooking it was one of her passions. Minaru was just one of those girls that knew her way around the kitchen. Or she guessed people would say she knew her way around the house, since she cooked and cleaned everything perfectly from technically being enslaved her whole life.

Turning back to guy he mentioned someone named Olivar again, it struck her curiosity a bit. "I'm sorry, but may I ask who this Olivar person is?" she said politely in a small voice, wondering if she was asking at the wrong time. She tried her best not to be nosy, especially since she had lied to him only moments before but he kept bringing up the name. She couldn't help herself..

Rayn Lin Case

Rayn noticed most of the attention started to shift towards him after he walked into the clinic. Once he got out of the kitchen, he found his work relatively simple: watch the patients. He wasn't supposed to let Guy loose, but having Minaru around seemed to make everything easier. It gave all of them someone else to talk to, and gave Rayn a chance to practice caring for patients.

”I aim to please, Guy. Disease and injury don't take a holiday. I can at least work half a day of mine.” He grinned at the end of his statement, since he knew it was just an excuse to study what he forgot at the clinic more often.

When he saw the frown on Minaru's face, he wanted to play strict like the doctor, but he knew he couldn't hurt her feelings. It wasn't the right way to handle it. If he did that during regular hours, the doctor would have his head in a heartbeat, regardless of who the patient was.

”Don't worry about it. You're a patient because of your ankle. If you want something to eat, don't hesitate to ask. Just focus on healing up so you can go back to what you want to do. It's in my job description to learn about the doc's patients and worry about them when he cannot.”

Rayn continued to read on, flipping to and from a couple diagrams as he read about the proper procedure to relax a worried patient. Since he was only the intern, he had to find some manner of assuring to his patients that he could do the doc's job to some degree. He still wanted to see if Olivar wrote in Guy's medical record what happened. Guy seemed to be trying to get out of his care for some reason, remembering the comment about how he'd see Rayn instead for his next procedure.

When Minaru questioned Guy about the doctor, he slipped his metal bookmark into his book, and closed it. He knew that he hardly knew the doc personally. Other than the fact he was occasionally referred to as Ray, he regretted not actually getting to know him.

”Olivar is my boss. He seems to have some magic up his sleeve when he practices medicine. Why I generally ask him to review my work so that I could try and figure out a couple of his secrets.”

He got up and went to grab his cup and plate from the kitchen. He thought his tea had steeped enough. He took a sip, before taking out the new bottle of milk and sugar out, pouring the milk into a small dispenser and added 2 teaspoons of sugar before stirring it. He licked the spoon and smiled. The company made things taste better than usual, and he began hoping more people would visit more often so life would seem better than usual.

We drove in silence across Pont Champlain
And all of the time you thought I was sad
I was trying to remember your name...

His answer had her blinking in surprise, not at his calling her Ishy, since he was her neighbor she didn't mind that. Rather what confused her was him saying his partner had been hurt and was at the clinic. She had been referring to Rin but it would seem Zaf thought she meant someone else. Her expression a bit puzzled, she tilted her head as she looked up sideways at Zaf. "I was talking about Rin. Did you think I meant someone else?" Although now that she thought about it, she supposed the blonde guard hadn't been by her part of town yet today. Or had he? She really hadn't been paying attention to the goings on outside her windows this morning. Adjusting her sunglasses, she let her thoughts drift back off of the missing guard and onto Zaf's next comments. Apparently she was the only one of the two that had forgotten to eat this morning. Taking his offered arm, she finally noticed that something seemed different about Zaf that morning though she couldn't quite tell what it was yet.

"I would appreciate an escort very much. I was actually just heading toward the cafe. I'm afraid I didn't get my shopping done yesterday due to the festival so I am a bit ow on food at the moment." Ishtar had the grace to look a bit sheepish at that. It wasn't exactly fun to admit that she had forgotten something so basic to everyday life, but there you had it. When Zaf scolded her for not telling him who she was yesterday, she actually broke out in laughter. Clutching slightly at his arm, she laughed until tears formed in her eyes. She had been waiting to get a response like this every since she had shown up here months ago. Suddenly her laughter ending in a coughing fit as she leaned against Zaf. Gasping slightly, she felt her throat go tight as it became hard to breathe for about fifteen seconds. The attacks were frightening to her but she didn't want him to guess what was really wrong.

Once she could breathe easily again, she drew in a couple shaky breaths and loosened her grip on his arm back to normal. Reaching up with her free hand, she smoothed back her bangs before giving Zaf a playful smirk. "I never told you because you never asked. After all, shouldn't it be obvious who I am?" The bravado was more of a front than anything, hopefully her idol persona would cover up what had just happened. She knew it was dangerous only letting the doctor know she as sick but the last thing she wanted was sympathy or pitying looks.

Lynn Sikorski

Location: Dig Site Company: Juniper. Mood:Relaxing.

Lynn's new boss comment on the sword she possessed though the topic changed when she tugged on her top and said.
"Ave' you been here long?.. I feel so overdressed" Lynn looked at her. Over dressed may of not been her first choice of words to describe how Juniper dressed. It was not exactly the most covering clothing but obviously covered what she was not wanting to show. Personally Lynn would not be able to dress like that. She liked her pants and hoodies too much to part with them. Which made formal gatherings a bit of an interesting situation for her.

"Did I bother you just now? I didn't mean to do that. But anyway.. What do you townsfolk usually do out here in Bluebell?" Lynn shrugged. "You threw me in for a loop with your sword mostly. Though I cant blame you for reacting the way you did. Would of done the same in your shoes. As for what people do you'd need to ask someone else." Lynn paused for a moment putting her hands in her pocket. "I've mostly kept to my self up here at the site. Since the last actual archeologist left I've had to cover a lot of ground... That and I like it up here. Though a guy named Ken likes to come up and visit from time to time. You can ask him if he decides to visit today."

So far Juniper was not giving Lynn a bad impression. She certainly was not riding a high horse like the last guy. Goddess how much I want to punch that guy. Lynn thought as the mans voice emerged from the depths of her mind. "Still now that your hear we can actually make some progress."

People become afraid to get close, because they know the pain of saying "goodbye",
but the invisible bonds between us met and grew,
so I will nurture those bonds forever... and ever...

Kenrik's eyes widened when the man did not start talking. Rather, he picked up a notebook and a pen and began to write everything down. Reading the man's handwriting was challenging, he will not lie. Even so, he could still decipher a lot of the words he was saying, nodding in agreement about his second statement. A lot of people in town were night owls, after all. So naturally, most of them would sleep through the day if it was at all possible. Personally, Kenrik was always a bit of a morning person. He often woke up early to study some clockwork, and then wander to wherever he felt like throughout the day. Whatever he stumbled across was a mystery, which he may or may not enjoy. Though most of the time, his little experiences were rewarding.

Before he could respond to the blond, the sound of the door opening made him flinch. A raven-haired woman entered, apologizing for oversleeping.
So she must be the owner... he thought, smiling to himself. At least it was someone important who was startling him with all of the noise. Kenrik was too easily startled; it might be useful if he placed some thought in his surroundings.

The woman asked him if he needed any help, which he shook his head.
"Not as of now. I was just enjoying chatting with your employee," he replied. Honestly, he really had not thought about using the Bath House today. Though after talking to the two people inside of it, he may (and by that, meaning will) end up using it; he didn't know how often slow days came around, and figured it would be wise to make the most of it. "Though I will let you know when a situation arises. Oh! And by the way, I'm Kenrik Moorefield," he said, nodding his head as he shifted his attention from the owner to the blond (who was most likely the worker) and back. "I reside at the inn that isn't too far from here."

We are sometimes hurt, as we cannot live how we want to,
but this warmth of your hand wrapped around my fingers,
is truly something I want to protect forever... and ever...

Bet you'll never find me! Wandering at the Bath House.
I enjoy your company! A blonde haired man. (Yggdra) an d a woman who just entered (Yume)
To be or not to be... Content, a bit curious.
I seem to be Out Of Clockworks currently: ((You mean I'm not te only one who gets lost at random intervals? (^∇^)))

Devon had noticed that Cheryl didn't seem to care for his style of coffee. Not that he could necessarily blame her, he tended to brew it pretty strong since he needed the boost first thing in the mornings. "Cheryl, eh? Aren't you the one running the circus that moved to town?" Devon might be busy most of the time but he had heard rumors about a circus in town the last few times he had gone down to the tavern after he got done with work. It might be interesting to visit a circus at some point, his parents used to take Nekki and him to see them whenever they came through town. But that had been a long time ago, he reflected a bit sadly. Before Nekki vanished... Mentally giving himself a slap, he studied the woman across the table from him with a newly found thoughtfulness. "It might be worth a try..." He thought that to himself before taking a drink of his black coffee.

"Cheryl, you travel quite a bit with the circus right?" He asked. "You see, I have been looking for someone for the last few years. He is my twin brother, Nekki. We look similar except his hair is a darker red without the tips and his eyes are more green. I think he might be working as a mercenary, or at least he used to be." Devon's voice had taken a serious tone but his expression held a hint of the pain he felt. It was hard not to show how much he was worried about Nekki, especially after all this time. It hadn't been at all like his twin to just break off all contact. Clearing his throat, he got up and took his coffee cup to the sink and rinsed it out before setting it aside to wash after lunch.

Taking the lid off the stew, he gave it a quick stir and added the carrots and onions he had chopped earlier. He chuckled though when Cheryl mentioned she had climbed into the sheep pen to see the cat. Speaking of the cat, he watched it run back out the door and take off. "Yeah, that cat has been hanging around here since I moved in. I have no idea where he comes from but he is always well fed." Wiping his hands on a towel, he walked over and shut the door behind the cat. "So, if I may ask, what is it like living at a circus?" Devon moved with a simple comfort about the kitchen as he set a loaf of bread into the oven to cook. He may not look it but his mother had made sure he could fend for himself in the kitchen.
