George grinned as he shook Lilu's hand. "I suppose you know who we are," he said airily, pulling out a Dungbomb and placing it in Lilu's hand. "I'll talk to Fred about it tonight. We'll contact you at breakfast tomorrow morning." He thought he sounded much too stiff to be any Weasley (except Percy), so he quickly added, "What kind of dangerous, stupid stunt would you like to be included in?"
"Another recruit, eh, Georgie?" Fred chortled, extending his hand to Lilu. "Fred Weasley, the more-handsome twin." George scowled mockingly, hitting his brother's shoulder gently with the back of his hand.
"You're in," they said in unison. "Meet us in the common room tonight after your last class."
"Lee Jordan, Fred, and I are in on it," George said slowly, solemnly. "Do not let anything slip, to anyone. You have a question, consult Fred or myself. Nobody else must know." He motioned for Lilu to sit between himself and Oliver; he wanted to avoid the Quidditch captain at all costs for the time being.

She sat down next to him and nodded. "Of course I know who you two are. The notorious Fred and George Weasley, pranksters. Don't worry I wouldn't tell a soul. I hate that Filch man and his," she shuddered, "creepy cat." She grinned, "just don't pull anything on me or else," she put her fingers to her eyes and popped them out, "you could lose an eye or two." She laughed and played with her eyes a bit, "count me in on anything dangerous."
Petra happily took the half of the frog offered to her. She was starving! "Thanks!"

It was hard not to notice that the twins were scheming something, however, feeling a little overwhelmed, Paisley didn't know if she was up for anything quite that daring her first night. It was weird enough to be in a school, she'd have to try getting used to that before doing too much else.
User ImageAthena gave the ceiling a condesending look, wondering why the hat didn't mention the enormous need to brag that seemed to engulf the younger years of the Slytherin house. It had never occured to her to brag about every new, top of the line item her parents bought her.

"A new broom?" Athena asked, turning to Draco and smiling a practiced smile. "Very nice. I have an older Nimbus. Always served me well."

[ I gotta get off for a little while, but I'll be back! ]

Draco had to scoff a little, but the one person he was most looking forward to showing his new broom off to, wasn't in the room.

"I'll surely make the Quidditch team this year, I don't think anything could stop me."

Lilu heard Malfoy and turned towards him, he hadn't known her but she knew him from last year. She snickered and made a face at him, hoping to start a little trouble.
User ImageAthena scoffed at the thought. "Quidditch. Please. Only school children care about the outcome of a silly sport," she said, petting the cat in her lap slowly. "I'd much rather suppass others in classes, and that doesn't involve training of any kind."

Her cat purred loudly and Athena gave it a real smile, one that she didn't practice but just came, unrepressable.
Lilith smiled in the direction of Athena. "I couldn't agree more. I'm Lilith." She stuck her hand out without hesitation toward her. "And you are?"
User Image"Athena Dupre," she responded, glad to meet someone new for a change. She took her hand for a moment before letting go, not a fan of contact unless absolutely nessecary. "Slytherin b***h extraordinaire," she added, smirking lightly.
Lilith smirked at her. "Looks like you may have to share that title." She said smuggly.
User Image"First years," Athena grumbled. "think they know everything. That title is copy righted to me, and me alone."
She pretended not the hear her and instead turned her attention back to the table top.

(I have to go for a while sorry)
Lynette looked down the table to the exchange between Athena and Lilith. While eating her food she strained to listen the conversation. She heared bits and pieces, but what she gathered was enough. Lilith was your sterotypical Slytherin, and Athena an older version, still cocky as ever but just starting to devolp a brain. She rolled her eyes at a few of the comments made, and didn't try to hide them.

"You're going to get a reality check pretty soon here, Little Miss Firstie," said Lynette to Lilith. First-year Slytherin's were on the top of Fay's pet peeves, Lynette herself had been much more calm than any other first-year of her House that she had come to meet yet. Lilith seemed to fit the bill of Firstie perfectly in Lynette's mind. Now Lynette couldn't wait to see what kind of come-backs this Firstie had...
"Do you think we'll be moving up to the Common Room soon?" Allura asked to anyone that was listening. She was eager to unpack her things and develop the new photos she had taken today.

Allura looked over at the Gryffindor table, she sometimes wished she could be one, brave, loyal and popular. But she can't change who she is, the hat put her in Ravenclaw for a reason. Even though she was a muggle-born Allura was one of the smartest people in the school, not that she liked admitting it.

I wonder what class I have first tommorow.
(ooc: hello all, I'm just joining you. smile sorry this one’s a bit long, I’m making up for having missed the last eleven pages...I'll be playing Penelope "Penny" Clearwater.)

Penny looked at her now empty plate, lamenting the eagerness with which she had devoured her meal. She knew that she would regret it in the coming hours--she at way too much. But who could blame me, really? She thought to herself, being stuck with my parents’ cooking all summer….Penny had missed the fair of the Hogwarts houseelves, that was certain.

The train ride had been long and relatively uneventful, except for, of course, some sort of odd smell that she assumed had something to do with the Weasley twins. Penny didn’t know what she would have done with herself if she hadn’t been able to go to the Prefects’ compartment. She didn’t much like the other Ravenclaw prefects, but a few of the older Gryffindors were great company…particularly her boyfriend, Percy. Percy had a nice summer, and had achieved only two O.W.L.s fewer than herself, meaning she would continue to be able to see him in some of her double classes, though she would be on her own for N.E.W.T. level Potions. The thought of Snape without Percy around to make her smile was almost too much…

Only one new Ravenclaw, she noted, looking around. Lovegood…must be related to that fellow who does the Quibbler. A third and fourth year student were already asking Luna questions. She inserted herself into the conversation.

“I’m sure we’ll all head to the tower soon enough,” Penny answered. The prefects are just waiting for McGonagall’s signal.” She smiled. These younger girls seemed nice. “How are you doing, Allurea? Have a nice summer?”
