This is somewhat based on the timeline and storyline of Halo 2. Where the Covenant, a group of alien races have arrived somewhere in our solar system and are making their way to invade Earth. You, the characters will start off on the Orbital space station Cairo and you must help defend, or choose to evacuate with the other civilians from the station. You can play almost any character in Halo 2.

The masterchief shrugged as he put on his helmet after the marine sergeant in charge of the armory asked him if he had any idea how expensive his MJOLNIR armor mark V was and that it is totally fried. "tell that to the Covenant" The chief remarked as he adjusted his helmet of the new MJOLNIR armor mark VI that the Sergeant had outfitted him with. He barked, "Well, i guess it was all obsolete anyways. Please take it easy until you get used to the upgrades." The sergeant told the chief. The masterchief went through dianostics and fixes to get his suit ready and operational. After that he went with Sgt. Johnson who had just arrived at the armory. The chief followed Sgt. Johnson up an elevator and into a tram, headed for the bridge of the CAIRO
