I wasn't so worried about that, but Caroline and Tyler, then the scenes where she's back in the car and with her father saying "i love you" to him

and of course Damon freaking out when Alaric starts to go down. So many feels for him and how bad he wanted to be there with Elena instead </3

That part really got me too. =O Even though he hates Alaric and was in a death match kind of thing, he knew that something had happened to Elena to cause him to go down like that. It was planned out extremely well. =O

I dont think Damon hated Alaric. He knew his friend was in there somewhere, and Damon has a huge heart. He just also has a strong grasp on the desire to live
