Tohru Hirakawa
﹥﹥Current Location: Bus, Arriving at Shin's duplex
﹥﹥﹥Current Weapon: Kendo Shinai (Bamboo Sword)

"Wait, what? You're not sticking around after we get to Teach's place?" Tohru was more than surprised to hear that Jira; Savior of Faces, was planning to leave as soon as they got off the bus. She must've had one hell of a reason to split off on her own rather than go with them to a safe spot and get organized. If he knew the reason he would be quicker to understand, but at the moment he thought it was her looking to get herself killed. Kind of like the red head that crash landed on the roof of the bus and skidded off the back end, ending up on the road. It happened so fast that Tohru couldn't even get something out of his mouth before Shin went off on Remus, going so far as to lift him up and toss him into a seat and nearly taking out Emiko in the process. This had Tohru's full attention and wiped any sort of joy from his face, a tight-lipped, narrow-eyed stern look replacing his usual smile. 'Suddenly, leaving doesn't sound so bad.'

The rest of the ride was fairly quiet, aside from the whispers coming from Momoka and Ryuzaki and the sounds of things hitting or being hit by the bus. Even Tohru couldn't think of a smartass remark to things, but was also keeping himself from doing so in the event that Shin kept his word and tossed one of them out the door and into the street. The teacher's voice picked up again, re-stating the options everyone was entitled to, but also followed up with a warning against being stupid. The bamboo sword that was given to him by Akira wouldn't do him any good in a fight against one of those things or a live human, other than to push the former aside and leave a nasty ache in the latter. They just weren't made for killing, and by no means was he a swordsman like "Afro" or Ryuzaki. Had he a gun, or even something like a baton or a steel pipe, he could make much better use out of one of those than the shinai he had sitting beside him with the toolbox of goodies. Words, like Kira's, that he needed to hear. His heart was in the right place for wanting to help and protect the people he was with, but he wouldn't be able to do it with what he had.

Sighing and looking back at the bamboo sword, he eyed it like a disappointed dog owner and sort of hoped it would suddenly just burst into flames on the spot. "He's right y'know, Toshigi? That knife's not gonna do a whole lot to those things without getting you dead along with them." Tohru crouched down beside the seat that Jira was in, more doing so so he could pull the gym bag's carry straps over his shoulders and wear it like a giant back pack, but was looking to her as he did so. The thought of her running out in the streets and getting attacked due to being under-equipped really was bugging him quite a bit more than he'd like to admit. "It doesn't take a genius to figure out you're going somewhere specific, but getting there's gonna be a b***h with what's going on and having no plan to rely on. Come with us to Teach's place, we can figure something out and go about doing a thing or two about that knife of yours while we're at it." With the gym bag finally on his back, Tohru stood back up and swung it side to side to make sure it was going to sit properly, and it felt like it was going to. Glancing back to his fellow eyepatch-wearing survivor, he flashed his trademark grin to her. "It'll be worth it in the long run, promise."

When the bus came to it's stop a few blocks away from Shin's place, Tohru made his way out after Shin and the ones closer to the door, but waited for the people who were behind him to get off the bus. With the large bag plus the shinai over his back and the toolbox in hand, he would be slowed down to avoid making extra noise, so didn't mind if he was at the back of the group. This way, too, he could hang back should someone fall behind like Kawahara had on the way to the bus. He had no idea she was asthmatic, up until he caught her fumbling with an inhaler before they all boarded the bus earlier. Even if it wasn't her, Tohru would stick to the rear to make sure everyone got to where they were going safely and alive.

"I see.." Hachiko said quietly as her yellow eyes closed only partially. It wasn't exactly a glare or anything. Kyoko had a strange way of saying 'Thank you', but the busty senior didn't look too much into it. Eying her up and down carefully for a moment, it didn't seem like she was approaching her in a threatening manner. She'd seen Kyoko before, though it was only from a distance. She didn't know her by name, and even still, Kyoko didn't give it to her, so she didn't ask for it. Perhaps in this apocalypse, she wouldn't need it. If Kyoko were ever to pass, especially by her hands, she'd make sure to collect her student ID. She'd carefully slip her helmet back on and place her hands onto the handlebars.

As Kyoko leaned onto her, Hachiko's eyes opened fully again. Close contact wasn't something she was used to by anyone other than her sister, who had no sense of personal space what-so-ever. Due to her chest being quite big.. okay, 'quite' wasn't the word. Hachiko, like her sister, was very developed. Either way, due to this, her cheeks only became a little pinker, but it wasn't something that she'd look into. It must have been an accident after all.
"Hang on tightly." With a thin waist like Hachiko's, Kyoko probably wouldn't have a problem hanging onto her tightly. The scooter had suddenly lurched forward as she started to take it to the maximum speed that she could get it to. The bus was pretty far in the distance, but it was easy to keep track of the bloody tire tracks. Not only that, the littered bodies, which made Hachiko just a little sick to her stomach. Though a bit dangerous, Hachiko would even drive on the sidewalks, since the cars that were out, were driving just as hectically as Shin had been doing, though his path was not hindered too much, since he had a giant bus. No little car was going to stop something like that. They were taken through some sort of residential area that Hachiko didn't know of, since she lived on the outskirts in the rural areas with her sister. Rather than pulling up behind the bus and stopping, Hachiko would slow to a stop about two streetlights away from the bus. "We'll continue from here on foot... you're welcome, by the way." She didn't sound hostile in the least, of course. It wouldn't make sense for her to be hostile after 'saving' Kyoko. Turning the scooter off, she would remove her helmet and shake her head quickly afterward to shake her hair back into place. She could even see the students getting off of the bus. It was comforting to see others that.. at least went to the same school as her.

Jira Toshigi

Hey did you know you're makin' nice with a murderer?
Hey did you know you're swappin' lies with a dirty girl?
In order for me to play a nurse,
You're gonna have to tell me where it hurts.

Jira looked back over at Tohru as he spoke to her once she made her comment. "I've got more important things than this bus.." she stated, looking back up at where Shin was preventing an accident and scolding Remus. She listened to his little lecture to all of them, herself mostly, and rolled her eye. "Whatever..." she mumbled, crossing her arms. She wasn't just some weak girl running off blindly; she knew how to get around.

After a few minutes of mostly silence, she heard Tohru speaking to her again. He was wanting her to listen to Shin, but she was still feeling stubborn. Her face pouted at him while he knelt down to mess with the gym bag, but shifted to a neutral expression as he continued. She was struggling to admit he was right, but the grin on his face as he promised it would be worth it softened her up a bit, at least enough to give her a faint unexpected blush.

It quickly faded however, and when they stopped a few blocks away, she stood and got out after a few of the others. Seeing Tohru staying behind by the bus until the others got out, she turned to stand beside him. Jira was silent for a moment, then spoke. "Fine, I'll stay but as soon as I figure things out I'm gone.." she said. "I-I'm not doing it just because of you though!" she followed up, turning a bit away from him, but another thought entered her head. Turning back to him, she grinned a bit, then scooted closer and elbowed his arm loudly. "Just so you know, you're gonna help me.." she was still smirking even after telling him this. If he was gonna convince her to not go and find Sayaka immediately, then he was going to go with her later when she did leave.

..........Her eyes opened to look at the student who had spoken up towards her direction. She just watched and listened. Not saying a word, she waved her hand in his direction to show that she was not really in the mood to talk, but in a slight way saying thank you as well. Her eyes went immediately back towards the passing streets and buildings. Everything, not just the people, seemed to be in decay. The building fires were slowly starting to go out, but the body count seemed to keep raising. With each block they drove by, more and more bodies seemed to be piling up or walking, looking for their next meal. She sighed and looked back towards the front of the bus.
..........Shin, huh? She never had one of his classes in an y of her years the school. However, she had heard rumors of him from other students and teachers. Hardly anyone seemed to warm up to him. The two people with eye patches who people never went near. The silent one with the afro. The others who got out as well. Now that she thought about it, everyone on the bus was strange. It was almost as if the freaks were left to survive. As if they finally got the chance to start the world over with their own kind of people. Her stomach felt light as a laugh escaped through her mouth. She clenched her gut and almost fell out of her seat laughing. This was the funniest sight she had seen in a while. "We're all a bunch of weirdos, man." she wiped her eyes and straightened herself back out.
..........Her laughter died down when she was listening to Shin's plan. She wasn't quite sure how to feel about this, but she knew she didn't have a better plan herself. She just knew she needed to go where she was the safest for the time being. She nodded her head as if to agree with herself. Not much more time was given to her to process what she was going to do next. She stood from her seat and instantly felt a sharp pain run through her right leg. Looking down, she saw glass shards all in her skin. She frowned. Of all the times to be injured. Well, s**t. She had to ignore whatever was going on with her leg. She needed to follow Shin inside before the things noticed they were there.
..........Grabbing her bags and her bat, she rested her bat on her right shoulder and through the bags over her left. Now was not the time to be showing weakness. Her knee wasn't being so cooperative, though. She almost fell walking down the steps of the bus. She straightened herself and looked around to make sure no one had seen her almost fumble. It didn't seem like anyone had, but her face was still a slight shade of pink. Raising her head, she noticed people slowly walking over to them. Were they other survivors? No. She could immediately tell when she heard the gurgling and moaning. Her body went still. Wait. They didn't even seem to notice the people getting off of the bus. Maybe noise was the key to get their attention. Slowly bending down, she picked up a decent sized rock and squeezed it in the palm of her hand. She wanted to see if this actually worked.
..........Throwing the rock as hard as she could, the herd turned on their heels and headed over to the metal trash bin the rock had bounced off of. They were bumping into each other and almost unhinged the bin from it's nails to the ground. The sound did work. Her eyes were wide in amazement. The only brain activity was for hunger and sound? They only had survival instincts left. Her mind was racing once again. How can this virus or whatever it was only leave those senses behind and take everything else? She shook her head. Now was not the time to be asking questions.
..........She moved gracefully through the gate, despite her knee. She walked up to Shin and nodded her head. She wasn't one for many words and wasn't quite sure of what to say to him. "Thank you." she said in a quiet tone and kept her head straight ahead of her as she waited for the others.

The phone call between herself and Hachiko had ended, ending off on what could be interpreted as a positive thing. “I’m coming”. It wasn’t much to go on, but it was barely enough to keep Kawahara from going insane. Well, any more insane, as she was already teetering on it. The smell of smoke had left the air for the most part but was managing to linger enough to warrant the continued usage of her face mask, and the hiding of her face. She was under the impression that the other students she was with had stopped paying attention to her, but was actually still being observed by the foreign student, Samuel, a.k.a. Afro.

The ride to the teacher’s place was more eventful than she would have liked, as Kyoko had bounced herself off the roof, Remus had freaked out only to be thrown around by Shin himself, Tohru was getting fresh with the girls and the only other junior on the bus, Momoka, had started to sing about burning and death. In any other situation she wouldn’t have cared, but now... now was much, much different. The bluenette who had been silent the entire time had burst into an unprovoked laughter and referred to the entire group as a bunch of weirdos, which instantly set Kawahara into a shutdown. The young blonde slapped her hands to her ears to block it, and further conversations out, resuming a repetitive thought process to tie her over. This time though, it wasn’t two words over and over, but instead was her jabbing a scalpel through the heart of someone whose face was censored to her. Like the last time she did this, her thoughts became a reality and she began to make stabbing motions towards the back of the seat. Thankfully the two scalpels she still had were safely tucked away in her bag; otherwise the seat would be getting punctured repeatedly.

No one seemed to notice or just didn’t care enough to stop her up until the bus came to a full stop, Kawahara having zoned out due to her physical thoughts. Of course, she had no idea what the current plan was, so was left looking around and hurrying to gather her things and exit the bus along with everyone else. Pace? What pace? Kawahara’s heart sank as she watched the teacher and most of the others go jogging off, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to keep up for very long. Was going back up onto the bus and curling into a ball an option? It felt as though it should have been, but with Tohru standing at the door like a guard, it was feeling as though she would be pulled back off and forced to join the others. "I hate running..." Factoid #1: Kawahara really hated having to run. Short distances, or enough to please the Phys. Ed. Teacher was what she did to get the necessary marks, but that was it and only that. So this whole apocalypse thing was very quickly growing to be a nuisance to her. As Kira demonstrated for herself, and whoever else may have been paying attention, the zombie-esque people were drawn to sound. Running made more noise than walking did, so what were they all running for. Idiots. "No one ever read them the story of the Tortoise and the Hare, I think. They’ll be rabbit stew faster than they know~" Even though Tohru and Jira were still within earshot, Kawahara spoke her mind about the running before heading off after the rest of the group, but at her own pace. A quick walk that had her lifting her feet as little as possible to avoid the soles of her shoes making too much noise as they made contact with the pavement.

It took a bit longer than what Tohru and/or Jira may have liked, but she was finally coming up on the now-open front gate and made straight for the front door of the duplex which Shin was standing at, panting heavily from the “jog” she had just finished. Kicking her shoes off and moving them aside so they wouldn’t be in the way, Kawahara removed herself from the entranceway and into what she assumed was the living room, picking herself a corner to go sit in and huddled into it as much as she could, but doing so in a way that she had the first aid bag sandwiched between her and the wall beside her. This way, she would be out of everyone’s way and could remain an afterthought to them. Hachiko’s phone was clutched in one hand, while a scalpel had made its way out of her bag and into her other hand so she could protect the first aid kit, the phone, and herself.

Riding on the back of a scooter was much different than being the one actually driving it, and it took Kyoko some time to get used to it. When she ever needed to, she would drive her friend's scooter and rode with Momo on the back, but this time she was in Momo's place. Now she knew what it must have felt like to her sibling. The sudden jerks to the sides, the leans and only having a body to hold onto. It was more than enough to open the redhead's eyes and see why her sister always seemed so relieved to arrive to wherever it was they were going.

The ride itself was quiet, at least when it came to herself and Hachiko. Probably for the better for the sake of concentration, but it was still awkward. Riding with a chick she didn't even know, to a place she didn't know, in times that were nearly impossible to predict all the while not knowing what had come of her sister... it wasn't exactly her ideal day. At least she was with someone who knew what it was they were doing. Hachiko was weaving in and out of traffic and onto the sidewalk like she had done it a hundred times, making it look like it was nothing. When they came to a stop, Kyoko was slower than usual to get off the back of the scooter, as her knees felt as though they were locked up and her legs stuck in place. When she saw the bus up ahead and everyone getting off of it, she knew why they had stopped as far back as they had.

"Safer that way."
Swinging her leg back and over the rear of the scooter, Kyoko shook her legs one at a time to rid herself of the stiffness she was feeling, also doing so to give Hachiko time to get herself situated too. "You're Welcome"? Yeah, yeah, thanks and all that. The redhead turned to look around and rolled her eyes as she did so, having taken the non-hostile remark in a sarcastic or baiting way. She wanted thanks, did she? Kyoko's 'thank you' would come in the form of not attacking her, and keeping her company until they got to Shin's place. From what she could see, Hachiko didn't look like she was armed at all, aside from the helmet which she had in hand. The tire iron would be good to bash in the heads of whatever zombie got between them and their destination, but against the living? Not so much, since they knew to avoid it. That miniature pistol she picked up from the Nurse's car made it's way out of her bag so Hachiko could see she had it, and was stuck in the back of her skirt, using her belt to hold it in place.
"You tryin'a catch up with someone on that thing, or just happened to be followin' it?"
Kyoko took the lead for them, setting a casual walking pace for them that would allow them to keep up with the others, but at the same time let them go relatively unnoticed by whatever might be around them. That, and she was sore after slamming herself onto the bus and crashing into garbage cans afterward, so the slower pace was keeping her from agitating her minor injuries. Some ice, or a cold, wet cloth would help.

Ryuzaki Shindo

"May God Have Mercy On Your Soul..."

Ryuzaki took his hand away from Momoka a few moments after she'd answered. He'd always found her o be sweet, kind and caring and this whole outbreak and new world that coming to pass was hitting her hard. All he could do was be the best possible friend he could and support her. "Everything will be okay Momoka... we'll find a way to get through this." he said lightly to her as he clasped her hand softly. After that she'd started to sing the strange song. He let go of her hand and sighed a bit as Mr. Nishiguchi stated they were coming close to his home. That was a plus. The downside was they were going to have to dtch the bus a few blocks away which meant they would have no idea if it was to get stolen on them or not which could leave them stranded and rideless.

Ryuzaki listened for a moment as Jira and Tohru were nearby, chatting amongst each other. Seemed his best friend was having what he would call a bad good day, not counting the Apocalypse. He'd gone face first into a rather well endowed pair of breasts which he was slightly jealous about. Though they were Jira's and even she kinda scared the s**t out of Ryuzaki. She'd probably slit his throat if he dared glance at them and she noticed. He listened to their conversation as Tohru tried to tell her it would be basically suicidal to go off on her own even if she had places to be, she'd only get herself killed and accomplish nothing. She may be a badass but she was still only one person and she'd eventually, if not easily get overrun and munched sooner than she would ever give herself credit for. It was then that he heard her say that she would stay until she figured things out and that when she left, she was taking Tohru with her to help her. But Ryuzaki wasn't about to let his best friend, whom he knew had a huge gun stash somewhere at his house, go off on some two person escapade so he stood up and looked directly into Jira's eyes or... well eye and eyepatch and spoke sternly. "Then I'm going to... 'cause as badass as the two of you are, I don't trust you both not to get effed up out there. Plus he's my best friend and admittedly, I'd be a goddamn wreck if he went off and i never knew what happened to him..." He said sternly to her, his voice as unwavering as his serousness on the matter.

"...Because I Sure as Hell Won't!!"

"I have a deal with someone in that crowd." Honestly, she didn't know how Kawahara had faired, but she could see her up ahead amongst the crowd of students. She seemed to be safe, and that was pleasant. As she walked beside Kyoko, she pushed her scooter along silently. However, her eyes were mostly focused on the red-head, regardless of the danger. She had a gun, and perhaps she found Kyoko dangerous also? It was hard to tell what Hachiko was thinking, but she made no attempts to attack Kyoko. There was no reason to. The way she saw it, there were three teams in this apocalypse; the trusted, the untrusted, and 'them'. Since Kyoko didn't try to take the scooter from her, she was given the benefit of the doubt. Hachiko would then ask a strange question...

"How do you plan to spend your Armageddon?" She made sure to keep her voice low. Hachiko assumed that the answer she'd get would be 'surviving'. But this was the end of days, she was sure. Things couldn't go back to how it was before. After all, some of those teachers died. Some of the students died. People were dying left and right in the streets. Hachiko herself didn't know where she was going. She had a sister out there, but her worry for her was very low. Kichiko didn't strike Hachiko as the type that would get bitten, unless her friendly nature made her hug the infected. The thought was funny and made her smirk a bit.

She didn't have the luxury of going to the same school as Hachiko, but the fact that she was calling the phone now was a sign that things probably went to hell everywhere. Things were no better at her school, honestly. Started with a few people wandering outside, a bite here, a bite there. Then the chaos spread like wildfire! Kichiko had escaped on her bike, opting not to have a scooter since she liked to stay in shape more than anything. Her bike allowed her to go offroad and through otherwise uncrossable terrain on any other vehicle.

"Pick up, Hachiko, piiick up." One hand rested onto her firm thigh as the other held the cellphone up to her ear. This meant that she'd been going down the sidewalk at a strolling place, without her hands on the handlebars. However, when someone ran out of their house and across the sidewalk, she lurched forward, grabbing onto the handle and coming to a stop. "Pick up, pick up, pick up." She chanted quietly to herself, slightly bouncing on her bike seat, which made her.. assets bounce about in her shirt a little gratuitously. But as usual, it was something that the busty blond paid little attention to. She would lean forward to press her chest against the bars of the bike with a sigh. She couldn't make it to the edge of the city back to their house and most importantly, she knew she had to make sure her sister was okay. She didn't know her sister's phone was in the possession of Kawahara Torajirou.

So far, her plan to seclude herself to the corner of the living room and avoid contact with the other people around was going, well, according to plan. No one was going out of their way to bother her or check up on her, leaving her to do the whole lot of nothing she was doing. Since hanging up with Hachiko she hadn't spoken directly to anyone, nor had anyone spoken to her. Comforting in a way, but it was also sending her mind in a whole new spiral. I'll watch as they die, one by one~ Start with the biggest threat, work my way until it's just me; elbow deep in their entrails~ "If they ask nicely, it might even be painless~" Kawahara slowly lifted her head, enough so that she would be able to see the others that were around. Her eyes jumped from person to person, determining who would need to be fed to the monsters ambling around outside or met with an unfortunate accident. The most obvious one, of course, was the owner of the duplex they were all in. He was the biggest, and most likely to turn on them should the situation call for it. Remus had experienced that one first hand. The next? It was hard to say, as she didn't know anyone except for Momoka and most certainly didn't know what they were all capable of. Minor interaction was now called for, at least until she knew what to expect from her fellow survivors.

Until such a time, and until she was ready to, Kawahara was going to remain in her corner near the stairs and silently observe. When the phone in her pocket began to go off again, the young blonde reached for it and brought it up towards her face, eyeing it before flipping it open to read the screen. This time it wasn't showing an unknown number, instead, was showing a name that was quite puzzling. "Rokuhana, Kichiko?..." At no point had Hachiko mentioned a sister at all, so Kawahara's initial thought was that it was her mother. What was she to say? There was no sense in panicking now, until she knew exactly who it was was calling. Clicking the talk button and raising the phone to her ear, she paused a moment, hearing the person on the other end saying 'pick up' a few times. "I did pick up. Hello?" The person on the other end of the phone call almost sounded like Hachiko herself, but she knew it wasn't due to the call display. "This isn't the voice you were expecting to hear, is it?" Kawahara nearly added that the owner of the phone had ran away and was currently missing, but she decided at the very last millisecond to leave that out, wanting to hear what this Kichiko person had to say, first.

Tohru Hirakawa
﹥﹥Current Location: Shin's duplex
﹥﹥﹥Current Weapon: Kendo Shinai (Bamboo Sword)

Tohru was convinced that his words hadn't sunk in with Jira, and that she was still going to run off now that the bus had stopped and they were all getting off. A pleasant surprise came as she stuck around, waiting with him while everyone else exited the bus and made their way towards where Shin was running off to. "Deal." Just as he was looking away from Jira to make sure everyone was off the bus, she spoke up again, this time adding in some denial. "Oh, no? Sudden change of heart then, right?" He wasn't buying her words one bit. The only reason she was still there was because of him and what he had said back on the bus. It made him grin to know he had done something good, but the glee behind the grin was sucked out of him by Kawahara. God damn she was a creepy little imp. Cute, for a junior, until she opened her mouth and spoke.

She was the last to go, meaning Tohru and Jira could go now too and each keep their eye open for anything else. "Ow. What was that for?" Along the way, he felt her drive an elbow against his arm, causing him to rattle the toolbox that had otherwise been quiet the entire way to Shin's place. As he looked over at her, he was met with a smirk that very quickly lead to a request of sorts. "Help? With what? ...Wait, what was that? Help you do what?" The policemen's son had no idea what it was Jira was going on about, and continued to be in the dark about her meaning until Ryuzaki chimed in. Oh, she wanted him to go with her! Uhh... "Ryu, no, you're gonna stay here with the others. We got a better chance at getting things accomplished and getting back in a relatively lively manner if it's just the two of us watching out for each other. The way I see it, we're effed up already." With that, Tohru brought his free hand up to his eyepatch and gave it a light tap, making sure to do it as quietly as possible. "Now's not a time for heroism anyway. We'll talk more once we're out of the streets."

Tohru wasn't too keen on the idea of Jira running out in the streets alone, and wasn't too fond of the idea of going with her, but would feel better about it knowing she wouldn't end up getting hurt alone. Ryuzaki piping up and wanting to go, to him, sounded like a bad idea. Not because of him, but for the simple fact that he had someone that needed him right now, and the group would need a good fighter to hold the fort should s**t hit the fan while Jira and himself were gone.

Reaching the house a short bit after Kawahara had, Tohru again waited to make sure both Jira and Ryuzaki had gone through the gate before closing it behind him, and made sure they were inside the house itself before following them in. Now, he could say they were in the clear for the time being. A shower, a plan, a quick change into his normal school attire and he'd be good to go back into the streets with Jira to go do whatever it was she needed his help with.

As soon as she heard the voice on the phone, she jerked up straight, full breasts bouncing into place with the phone clasped to her ear. There was something wrong here... Hachiko was almost never without her phone and she certainly wouldn't just lend it to someone. However, times had changed now. Hopefully this didn't mean something bad happened to her sister. Still, at the sound of another voice that wasn't her sister, Kichiko remained silent for quite a bit of time before almost meekly speaking. "No it isn't.. where's Hachi-mouto? Is she with you?"

She was not pessimistic; she believed her sister to be alive and well, but her phone was the only way Kichiko could find her and get in contact with her. Slowly, she'd place a hand over her heavy chest to feel her own heartbeat. It was positively racing. As if the pandemonium happening around her wasn't any better. Thinking it would probably be best to gain some distance from the area she was in, she started to pedal forward, one hand holding onto the handlebars while the other still held the phone. She stayed on the sidewalk.. she could see people running from one house, over to the next, possibly forming groups and what not. Kichiko may have tried to team up with some survivors of her own, but honestly, she just wanted to make sure Hachiko was safe. Besides.. people were acting a little strange now. She was almost cornered in a room by an uninfected professor that still wanted to attack her.

Mizuki Takanashi

Now hold on to me pretty baby
If you want to fly
Im gonna melt the fever sugar
Rolling back your eyes

Mizuki listened to what input Jin had on the situation, taking the water and rag from him. "Thanks.." she said, then looked back at her skinned up knee. It had some blood that had now nearly dried trailing down her leg, and so far looked pretty bad. Unscrewing the cap, she tipped the bottle, letting some of the water spill out on top of the bloody spot. She made a noise of discomfort, biting her lip a bit as it stung, stopping the tip of the bottle in order to save some. With that, she placed the rag over it, attempting to ignore the pain while still listening.

The two boys spoke sense, and she knew it despite being reluctant still. "I just don't want to put my family in danger from anyone aside from those things.." she stated with a sigh. She was worried about them, and worried that someone might take advantage of their kindness. "But whatever is the best course of action, I guess we go with it.." she stated. They were following the bus now, and it looked like it wouldn't be long before they stopped. And indeed they did, though in an area the redhead deemed not likely to be their sensei's actual abode. She didn't question it though, merely got the door open once they had stopped with the bus and slowly stood, holding the rag and bottle in one hand, the crow bar in the other.

Jira Toshigi

Hey did you know you're makin' nice with a murderer?
Hey did you know you're swappin' lies with a dirty girl?
In order for me to play a nurse,
You're gonna have to tell me where it hurts.

Jira was about to explain to Tohru what she meant when Ryuuzaki spoke up. The guy was insisting on going with them, but her eye-patching wearing counterpart was quick to shut him down. The purple haired girl had a feeling that wouldn't be the end of it though. She sighed a bit, looking at Tohru again as he started to move along, then back to the red head. "I'm on his side, but if you're going to ignore that then I'll let you know what I need help with...but in private. I don't want everyone to know...." she commented. Jira had the feeling he and Tohru would be the only ones she could trust not to use it against her.

Catching up in step with the other male, she stepped slightly closer to him. "I'll give you the details just....in private....." she said, then back pedaled. "I mean, ya know, so none of these other assholes can use it against me.." she didn't look at him this time; instead her eye was focused on her surroundings and she was making like they were more interesting. She didn't know why she felt the need to. Well, technically she did but it wasn't her fault! It was stupid Tohru's and his stupid face and his ridiculous getup that had gotten her attention on him again for the first time in a couple of weeks. Would have been better had things not gone to hell right after.

Ryuzaki Shindo

"May God Have Mercy On Your Soul..."

Ryuzaki looked to Tohru and swat his friend across the back of his head, not hard but hard enough to say he disagreed with what he'd said on both accounts. Ryuzaki wasn't the only good swordsman in this group, in fact of the three known swordsman there, himself included he was probably the worst one. Samuel and Shin were there and much better than Ryuzaki was even if Ryuzaki was good he'd never beaten either of them in a match or a friendly spar... save for once which even he had to admit had been pure dumb luck. "Sorry man but I'm not leaving you to whatever fate and to be honest you could be more effed up.. like... 'THAT' Effed up." he said as he pointed to one of the stumbling undead that passed the bus. Shortly after that the bus stopped and they began to get off, quietly.

He looked to Jira as they were starting to get off the bus, giving her a nod as she inquired quietly about the details of whatever she had to do. Ryuzaki then looked to Momoka and gave her a slight nod to show he'd be okay. As they got off the bus, Ryuzaki kept his eyes open and ears alert for shuffling feet and ghastly moans of the undead, if they were around. He didn't hear anything, but that didn't mean they weren't there. He was highly alert because in his mind, with the events that had unfolded so far, every moment was basically a life or death situation and any hour could be his last. He looked to Professor Nishiguchi before speaking in a light whisper. "Sir, how much further away is your place?" He asked, wanting to know how long they were going to be out in harm's way for. However it didn't seem like the teacher had heard him, not that he could blame him. Things were hectic everywhere still and Ryuzaki had only whispered. After following everyone for a while they had finally made it to his place. He'd kept his Bokken out until they'd made it inside where he returned it to its' fabric sheath.

"...Because I Sure as Hell Won't!!"
