RULES//
1. Hostility will absolutely not be tolerated.
2. You don’t have to be the greatest writer to join, but posts should be literate and coherent at minimum.
3. I won’t specify post length because I understand writer’s block and would rather have a concise post than a long post that goes nowhere that you struggled to write. A small post is okay every now and then, especially when transitioning to something you’ll have more to write about but please try to be descriptive/verbose when you’re writing. If your posts are consistently very short you might be notified of it.
4. In regards to activity, a minimum of one post should be made every 72 hours/three days. If for some reason you cannot meet that requirement and notify me beforehand I will be willing to suspend your character(s) on hiatus. I understand that life can be fairly unpredictable and having health problems and working a full-time internship myself I will be more than sympathetic so long as you let me know. The RP may move on without you, but if the users you were interacting agree, you may finish up what you were roleplaying in past tense in addition to making new posts. If you have periods where you regularly can’t access or a computer or know ahead of time you can’t meet this requirement it might be good to reconsider if you view it as a worthwhile commitment before applying. Given the nature of RWBY, we're in this for the long haul and while you may think you're not missed your absenteeism can be very counter-productive to other users!
5. No god-modding or going overboard with character strengths, especially playing as a student character. I would prefer if the outcome of a fight between two characters was determined between users in OOC or over PM. Try and be realistic when writing combat but also consider what’s considered normal for combat in the world of RWBY.
6. No user is allowed to control other user’s characters. Examples// changing the scenery for character A so they are now with character B, character A knowing character B’s thoughts unless they are clearly displaying them in a manner that can be interpreted, character A instantly landing an attack on character B, character A killing character B. If you think your post is possibly overstepping one of these boundaries, ask!
7. No canon characters for this RP. Try not to make characters similar to ones already in the show, get creative with it. Still, they should come across as characters that belong to the RWBY-verse and wouldn’t seem out of place on the show.
8. Please title your profile applications “Ice Queen” so I know you read the rules.

9. Character romances are fine but no explicit content please. As for other content, be mindful of Gaia’s TOS.
10. RWBY naming patterns tend to follow colour. You don’t need to have a colour-based name since all characters don’t follow this pattern but please still choose a colour to associate with your character when making your profile to help differentiate your posts.
11. It would be nice if you spruced up your post format, but you don’t have to do anything too extraordinary. I can assist or provide resources to anyone who needs help making a simple layout. Here are some off the top of my head:
character map,
list of colours,
font colours,
colour eyedropper add-on,
rwby wiki,
charahub (good for profile building + keeping track of multiple profiles).
12. This is not so much a rule, but if you have any questions/concerns at all, don’t hesitate to ask!
