Graceling: A Quest for Survival ((O///NA))

Wes jogged into the library and the caretaker gave him a look like 'oh my god your so hot and stuff' he has been getting those looks all his life so he was used to it he walked over to where Akira was. "are you Akira?" he asked.

Akira was putting his arrows back into quiver when someone asked him a question, "Who's asking?" Akira answered without looking up. He changed his mind about what he just said quickly then he looked up at the person who spoke to him. "Yes, I am Akira. Obviously, you're here to tell me about something, correct?" he asked still seating down in the chair and looked at the person waiting for him to answer.

"The garden looks very pretty today!" Firo said with enthusiasm. She loved taking care of the garden because of all the different kinds of flowers that grew there. It reminded her of the small house she used to live in with her parents. She shook the memory off and started to pull any weeds that she could find.

Hmm... what should I do...? Go to the garden? Nah... If Firo is still tending to the garden she'll force me to help.... Johan thought, while walking through the castle, not really caring about where he was going.

Wes keeps his cool. "the king requests that u appear in his court he has something important to tell you" Wes said his gold eyes hard.

Akira lighten up a bit then he place his bow and quiver on his back and stood up from his seat. "I will go see the King then" replied Akira even though he felt displeased about seeing the King for anything to begin with. He exits the library and walks to the court in a hurry since he doubted that the King would wait for long before he gets impatient.

Wes came up beside Akira showing him the way to the kings court as they enter the king is tapping his staff on the ground impatiently. "ah here he is! now boy i will make this fast you are a very skilled archer and well there is a mission i need you to do it involves helping Lady Sage sort of like protecting her and helping her on her quest"

Akira wince a little when the King called him a very skilled archer since he think believes that he is weak. "Who is Lady Sage?And I doubt she needs my help but I have to go on this quest anyways" thought Akira. Akira nodded and said, "I understand, I will do all I can to help on the mission".

"good now go Lady Sage must already be waiting at the gate" The king said with a dismissing nod.
Sage sat ontop of her beloved sleek black mare Raven petting her neck soothingly waiting for the archer to arrive.

Akira does what the King tells him to do and exits the court then he walks to the gate. "Traveling is nothing but trouble to me" thought Akira then he sighed and arrives at the gate.

Sage sensed someone is there she keeps facing forward "hello u must be the archer"

Akira didn't look at Sage since he usually doesn't make eye contact with people. "Yes, I am the archer. And you must be Lady Sage" answered Akira and he adjusted his glasses which he hates doing because it started to become a bad habit of his when it come to moments like these.

"yes I am" Sage said "we should get started"

"Yes, sooner the better" replied Akira feeling somewhat restless, but didn't want to get involved in any battles anytime soon.

Sage turned around in the saddle looking back at Akira in the eyes her eyes sparkling in the sun"alright let's go then we will have to move fast because the raptures are out and hungry along with the monster wolves, monster bugs and all sorts of other monsters and they want very much to kill me and be warned the monsters will try and use mind control on u" Sage said in a serious voice then she turned around checking her head scarf. "do you have a horse to ride?" Sage closed her eyes searching opening her mind to see if there is any danger she nods once to say that its all clear and she whispered in Westleys mind. "alright Wes we are at the gate and we are about to leave. please take care of everything well im gone and i will do this as fast as possible" her mental voice sounds very sad. Wes sighed when he got her message he is glad that Sage thought him how to strengthen his mind abilities so he could talk to her throw their minds. "alright Sage please be careful ill be here when u come back" he whispered back into Sages mind and he went off to his work shop to work on his latest project.

Akira looked over at Sage before he answered her question. "No, I do not have a horse to ride" he answered and he wasn't surprised about all dangers they could come across on their quest.
