Rebecca started to open her mouth again, to ask the gentlemen the same question, since he had yet opened his mouth, but was distracted as another customer walked in.

And what a customer. With a quick glance at the stairs to make sure Thomas didn't happen to be coming down, Rebecca quickly eyed the man up and down. Tall, gorgeous, broad of shoulder, and wrapped in a uniform. Santa came early. A faint smile curled up on her lips.

"Good morning sir. If you like, I was just about to take this gentleman," she paused, gesturing to the other customer, "upstairs to see the merchandise. You are more then welcome to accompany us." She smiled a true smile, offering her arm to him.

The moment was ruined by an energetic third customer coming in, but Rebecca's carefully rehearsed smile did not fade a watt. "Of course sir, please follow me up the stairs." Turning, having linked her arm through the soldier's she led the way, pausing only to unlock the door to the third floor and stepping in.

"More customers!" She announced.

Rock smiled, he knew he ruffled the feathers of his current captive, He slammed his fists again and pushed off the wall. He walked slowly with his back turned towards the door. Sat down against the back wall and faced the door legs crossed and hands on his knees calmly "A titan will always be a titan, no matter what form he takes" He said quietly and closed his eyes. He knew if he wanted food he would have to wait, and then he began to wonder about when he gets cleaned. He may be a captive but he was still the god of lust..........

Alaya did nothing but roll her eyes at his words. Empty threats, he would never damage merchandise. Her flawless skin made her even more valuable. So with that thought Alaya turned away from the glass and once again ignored everything outside her fishbowl. There had to be something else for her to do.

With the thought in mind Alaya crossed the small glass enclosure and picked up a brush as she set her now finished book done. As soon as only the book remained in her hands her wings spread out to the full span suddenly, dropping a few feathers upon the ground, then they quickly shot back to her back and disappeared into the skin, leaving only a elegant black tattoo of wings on her shoulder blades. With her wings out of the way and her back to the men once again, Alaya took the brush to her head and started to gently comb her already soft hair, simply seeking something to occupy her mind.

Hawx’s eyes found Cypress. His quick, heavy footsteps brought him to her cage. She wasn’t like the others. There was no hostility to her at all, and it was this that drew him. “Why do you weep so?” he asked, his voice a sensual southern American dialect, deep and smooth.

Severe irritation crossed Thomas’s face and it continued to grow when Rebecca walked through the door arm in arm with another customer. Taking a deep breath, he forced his facial features back into a business like smile instead of the hostile glare he had been using with the slaves. But he knew that anger would still be emanating from him, rolling from his very being like shock waves after a cannon blast. “Hello and welcome gentlemen.” He managed to choke out in an even tone, his eyes locking with his partners. One single eyebrow arched over his gleaming, angry eyes.

Sphynx looked up as the men entered and automatically had to stop her jaw from dropping open. ‘Well my my, look what we have here’ she thought, sizing the three men up. Instantly, her hopes fell, remembering what she was surrounded by; angels. No one would want a deranged werewolf who was good with weaponry. That just spelled STUPID CHOICE. A heavy sigh split her lips and Sphynx sunk to the bottom of her cage

Ormand brought up the rear of the foursome, and would have preferred to stay on the outside of the door had the owner not insisted on closing it behind them. He stood with the group forming for a few minutes, feeling terribly awkward as the other owner, a male elf, began showing pictures of info-sheets about the slaves.

Growing more and more uncomfortable by the minute, Ormand separate himself, going up and down the aisle to look at the merchandise. A woman brushing very long black hair. A man sitting with his eyes closed. An angel with a sweet, sad look. He paused, glancing at the card. "Cypress."

"Ooh, she looks nice. Pick her. Bet she can give you what you really need." Ormand jumped at the sudden voice, but didn't have to turn around to know who it was. Nate. Nathaniel was a ghost from the Revolutionary period, who had been poisoned by his eldest son for the family fortune. Not that he held any grudges; he was more then happy to spend his eternity as a ghost harassing Ormand, the only person that could see him.

Cypress looked up as the military gentleman marched to her container. She wasn't crying yet, but it was obvious that she was about to. She honestly didn't know what to say to a man like him, or the question. She found that her tongue was suddenly in knots, and it took a moment to fix it. "I-I...I feel hopeless," she said finally, unable to think of a lie or a little fib on such short notice. The truth at least sounded poetic.

Wordlessly, Thomas handed the book over to the customer, his hostile glare flicking from Rebecca to Hawx’s back. He crossed to his partner and bent to whisper in her ear, “wipe the drool from your lip dearest, your not for sale.”
Rock could sense that Thomas had feelings for Rebecca, a smile grew on his face and he could feel that Thomas was choking back his anger when he saw Rebecca walk in arm in arm with the man. "Its a difficult feeling Thomas isnt it, To lust for someone you can't have" He laughed as he said those words.

Thomas’s blood began to boil at rocks words; with a sharp turn, he began to stalk towards the titan’s cage, but stopped, only owing to the fact that there were customers in the room. He would deal with the slave later. Until then, he would have to suffice with venting his anger in a different manner; by selling the merchandise. It was really the only thing that brought him delight these days.

Rebecca smiled a bit wickedly even as the man left her arm to go look around. And of course, he heads straight for the angel. She thought, mentally shaking her head. Best sellers.

She didn't flinch even as Thomas came towards her, hissing in her ear. A lesser woman would have been terrified; he emitted power and rage like no other. Her reaction was closer to the opposite as she cocked her head to the side and looked playfully at him out of the corners of her eyes.

"Feeling a bit threatened?" She teased, keeping her lips only inches from his. They had a strict policy about not direct affection in front of the customers, but that didn't mean she coudln't tease. "Worry not, my love. He'd make a cute plaything, but we both know he'd never be able to handle me like you do." She locked eyes with him for a moment longer before turning her attention to Saito, gently tugging the book from Thomas's hands, her hands barely brushing against his.

"Ah, Cypress?" She flipped a few pages before coming to the right one. She glanced over at the cage even as she opened her mouth to list the opening price, only to see the other two masters standing by the exact same cage. My, isn't she popular. Rebecca bit the inside of her cheek in a fierce envy. You aren't supposed to be the center of attention here. Bad for business. And the master's lives. She thought with no little amount of amusement as her eyes flickered back to Thomas.

"Forgive me sir, but we'll be taking bidding. It appears you have some competition, and here at Nightsong, we believe everyone deserves the equal opportunity to his dream." As long as his pockets are large enough...

Hawx’s eyes were kind as he peered in to Cypress. “My dear, you should smile. A beautiful face like that just doesn’t hold a frown very well.” he turned to the owners, already making up his mind that this was the one he wanted. Hostility didn’t suite him well at all; he was likely to lose his temper and hurt someone when he was pushed too far. “Ma’am?” he saw Thomas moving, and decided it was better to speak with the female owner instead.
