~There was once an old, powerful, well connected and extremely beautiful Japanese family called the Sohmas. The Sohmas on the outside look like the ideal traditional family, but deep down they have a secret. A secret that not even the entire family knows about. Thirteen members of the family are possessed by spirits of the Chinese zodiac and turn into their zodiac animal when hugged by the opposite gender, are weak, or when under stress. The twelve members of the original zodiac and the mysterious cat zodiac, who was cast out of the original story. Each has a different personality and attributes specific to them, just like the animals in the Chinese Zodiac.

~And while all the members of the zodiac attempt to live lives of comfort or normalcy but then there is the mysterious fourteenth member, the god of the story and the head of the family who seems to not want to let the story go and does everything in his power to, sometimes literally, drag members back to the house when they attempt to leave. Why is this happening and what can the members do about it? Well....there's always hope that their curse will be broken and that maybe even their god will be free.

~This is the story of a different generation of zodiac members from the anime/manga, though the setting and and time frame are nearly identical. This is however, before all zodiac members were required to live in the surrounding areas of the Sohma estate and usually only visit during the new year's banquet. However, its also when the god had decided this to be a new rule and calls for any members who had previously lived far away or outside of the Sohma Main House back home.

2. This is a lit and up RP. I refuse one liners. Writers block is understandable, but do not have only six sentences every time. At least seventeen sentences please. Have proper grammar and punctuation

3. What should you put in your Application so I know you have read the rules? wine and cheese

4. Do not god-mod to an extent. A slap is ok, but give the other person the chance to react before you start to beat the ever living s**t out of him. If you go to far, you will be kicked out, so keep it to a minimum please.

5. No killing of other characters. If you do so I will kick you immediately without question. Unless the character has quit/got dropped etc and you are getting a new partner.

7. What shall you title the PM? What is your role?

8. You are not to begin your posting adventure until you have been accepted by me. I will be the only ones putting up accepted profiles unless told otherwise.

9. Everyone likes a little bit of blood every now and again, and that includes me and this forum. But do not go chopping limbs off ((Unless you really want to and you have permission)). I do not want it too gory though so blood? Yes. The next saw movie? No.

10. Romance is allowed. No cybering. I do not care if you are sexual or suggestive, but refrain from doing the deed in this forum. Kissing is allowed, but once all the clothing is off then that is it. Time skip is the condom of Gaia.

11. Try not to leave people out. I know it can be hard in these kinds of RP's, but I don't want anyone being left behind.

12. Multiple characters are allowed, and you can have as many as you like, but If I see your quality suffer I might ask that you hold back until you get better.

13. What is my take on swearing? I ******** love it! Go batshit crazy, but I don't want every other word a swear word.

14. I am the supreme master and god of this RP, what I say goes. I have every right to add and get rid of rules as I please, so check regularly.

15. No hostility between people, characters, yes, the people behind the characters? No.

16. If you have not posted after a certain amount of time, and you have not informed me of the reason, you will most likely be kicked. I send post warnings on a semi-regular basis, but I don't always have time to do so, and room needs to be made for active members. I will send a message to inform that you have been dropped from the RP, if you would like to rectify yourself and be added back on, then you may message me and we can talk it over.

17. Pretty up your posts a little, at least character name and an anime pic please. Also, please make your posts in third person please.

18. Oh I also ask that you do in fact try to have your human and animal forms match at least a little if your going to use outlandish hair or eyes. Remember rabbits and such can have red eyes or white hair but people usually don't.
