He heard her stomach growl audibly and remembered that she was having surgery in the morning so couldn't have anything on her stomach. He gazed in pity at the small girl.

Elena opened her eyes slowly. She bit her lip as her shoulder throbbed. Her stomach was so empty, creating a dull ache. She looked up at Tseng thoguh bleary honey brown eyes. "You're still here" She yawned, rumbing her eyes with her good arm.

Tseng nodded his head with his eyes still closed. "Either the nurses were too nervous to come get rid of me or they forgot..." He smoothed his black hair down and rubbed the back of his neck. "Hmm, I should probably be getting back soon. When is your operation?"

It was obvious that Reno wasn't going to give Cloud a clear answer to his question, so he took it on himself to ask Tseng, who by coincidence had just arrived at the building. "What's going on here Tseng?" Cloud asked in his usual dead-serious manner. "Is there something wrong here?"
