Shara Wyrmripper
Ana senced something watching her momentarily, though she knew not from where. She concentrated and transformed to the form of a small snake, only 4 feet long and went under the trees next to the road and slithered down, her scales only slightly glistening in the light.

Aerith threw that ball back to the boys who called her 'mother'. The missed and ran after it. She looked back at the living world to see the demon had disappeared. Only a barely visible snake on the side of the rode remained. "Perhaps she's more in tune with the life stream than I thought." Aerith said

Ana hissed in irritation, she very much disliked not knowing who was watching her, not knowing if they were friend of foe, though to her, well, most would kill her on sight if they knew what she was. Her kind being being all but exterminated for their smooth scaley hides, giving not a thought to the fact that the beings that they were killing had minds and thoughts of their own. She greatly disliked being alone, though she knew there was noone who had ever proven themselves trustworthy outside her own race and she was the last that she knew.

Aerith watched in pity as the demon appeared to grow more agitated. She wished she could have shown herself to the demon. For some reason her vision of the demon was clearer than it had ever been watching other normal humans or animals. She could feel herself moving closer to the world of the living and felt a tremble of fear and joy run through her.

Ana raised up as a cobra to get a better feel of her surrounding area, making sure there was noone out there. Noone at least that was within sight.

She could here the boys calling out to her and sobbing for her to come back to them but her face was pressed against the looking glass. Aerith could feel the demons awareness pulling her through. Very slowly she began to fade from the life stream. Her body felt so much heavier, and colder. The was a sharp pain in her abdomen. Even slower than before she began to reappear in the living world. She looked down. the front of her pink dress was stained red with blood. 'My fatal wound...How can I be here? Why aren't I in the Lifestream?'

Ana suddenly saw the woman, and smelled the blood and she hissed, the woman seemed to be in trouble, she shook her head, where had the woman come from, why did ana have the urge to help her, why did she feel connected to this strange woman.

Aerith stumbled at the sudden change. The world seemed to spin. She could still hear the boys crying out to her to go back to them. Her knees buckled and fell to the ground, clutching her sluggishly bleeding wound. She could see the glint of sunlight reflect off a snakes scales. She smiled at the ancient demon as she slipped to the ground, breathing heavily.

"Elena..." Tseng began. "You aren't a rookie anymore. You have to show the public that no one is stronger than you. You can't let your guard down ever. Doing so...well...you saw what happened to night." he muttered indicating her wounds. He was slowly calming down and was able to talk steadily again. He pulled up the car in front of the hospital and helped the young woman out of the car.
((Aww! Don't worry about it! My big brother just moved back into our house because his rent was too much to pay so he gave up on it. Lazy bum. But he has his own computer to use so he isn't excesivly downloading on the computer my sister and I use.))

Elena nodded silently. "Sorry sir. " she mumbled. She realised that she was leaning on him slightly and blushed but couldn't hold all of her weight so she didn't move from that position. She wasn't able to concentrate on what was happening to her. The doctor came out, lead her to a private room and cleaned her wounds. She could hear him 'tsk' and 'tut'. After twenty minutes and turned and left the room. She already knew that she'd need the bullets removed. She couldn't even raise her arm at the moment. She sighed, realising that she would have to miss the next day at work and possibly the one after that.

((I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry! I wasn't able to get onto Gaia because my brother was playing around with all the cords and thing behind our computer and messed up the interent! I was able to fix it- since Dad was too lazy to do it- but I wasn't able to do it for ages! I'm sorry! I'm back now and we can continue on!))
Tseng waited in the waiting room for the doctor to tell him what the verdict was. 'damn...' he thought, leaning his head back against the wall. 'now I'll have to report to Rufuse on my own...damn woman...' The doctor came out of the room Elena was resting in. and muttered something about need to operate to remove the bullets and her missing work. His selective hearing chose only to pick up on the mssing work bit. 'damn...I can tell the future...yay...lucky me' he thought sarcastically. He walked into her room with his hands in his pockets. "Think you can still write in hospital?" he asked hopefully.
