Welcome to FEEL THE STEEL, the original Weapons Gijinka Chatroom.
This is not your ordinary chat room. This chat room is not visited by humans, but rather . . weapons. What would our favorite characters' weapons say in their time off? If they could talk and get a hold of a computer and chat while their wielders aren't looking. Well, now we can find out. This chat room is a chat room just for weapons.

So, lets see your weapon gijinka and see just what they have to say about their jobs and their masters.

gijinka (擬人化) - a form of anthropomorphism. It is the attribution of human characteristics to non-human creatures and beings, phenomena, material states and objects or abstract concepts. Examples include animals and plants and forces of nature such as winds, rain or the sun depicted as creatures with human motivation able to reason and converse.

xx This is a Weapons Chatroom. That means you will be playing a character's WEAPON (or whatever they use to fight with), NOT the actual character. You will need to find pictures to suit your character ( they're basically an OC ), NOT pictures of the character that utilizes them. Spells are not allowed, it must be something tangible, for example, a gun, sword, whip, bomb, etc. If the series' character was a spellcaster of some sort, the OC would have to be something like a staff or some other object ( like Zexion's Lexicon) to be playable. Pets as weapons will be allowed on a case by case basis as determined by me.

xx If your weapon has a name ( Like Vergil's sword, Yamato), then please use that as your 'Character Name', even if you choose to have them use some sort of nickname or something. If it does not, you may pick a name for it ( try to make it fit well ). When it comes to character's appearances, THERE WILL BE NO 'LIVE ACTION/REAL LIFE' photos allowed. No exceptions.

xx You MUST spell out your words. No chat, l337, txt talk, etc. I'll let LOL and BRB slide occasionally, but don't make it a habit. Also, spell things correctly, no one wants to sit here and try to guess at what you were trying to type. Lots of browsers have spellcheck, so utilize it please. Breaking of this rule will result in a warning. Two warnings will result in expulsion from the chat.

xx Stay in Character. I know they're all going to be OCs (with exceptions ), but that being said, I think that each weapon has a feel to it, though ultimately I'll leave those decisions up to you except for situations where the weapons already have canon personalities/appearances ( for example; Bleach Weapons ). Once you pick personality traits, stick to what you choose, don't have a complete change of attitude/demeanor for no reason half way though. As for appearance, you may change your character's appearance, but please do not change their gender once you have already established them as a male or female.

xx FORMATS. I want them pretty/decorative, etc. If you need help making one, feel free to ask me or someone else you know. All formats must adhere to Gaia ToS. If your format is hard to read/look at or I receive enough complaints about it, you will be asked to change it. Font for the screen name and replies ( including the name of the character you're talking to and the actual replies ) needs to be at least size 9. Any tiny font anywhere else is fine. Do not to overload the layouts with super bright colors that blind us all. That being said, Do not steal anything. No codes, layouts, pictures, ANYTHING. Don't 'borrow' codes and insert your own pictures, don't copy codes and alter them slightly, or anything else. If I find out you've stolen something, I will kick you out on the spot. If you need help making a layout, then ASK someone.

xx Respect your fellow roleplayers. Do not ignore anyone. The only exceptions to this are if you're already talking to a lot of people ( four or more ), or if you're leaving the next post or some other valid excuse. If you've got an issue with someone, PM me and I'll handle it. Also, keep it PG-16 people. If it breaks Gaia's ToS, it doesn't belong here. If you start pushing it, you'll get one warning before I throw you out. No cybering. If you wanna take things there, do it somewhere else (like an IM or something).

xx There is no limit to the amount of characters you can have, I only ask that you don't app for more than four from one series and you only take on as many characters as you can handle. If you're inactive for too long, your characters may be deleted. If you're reserving a character, PM me ( Cerulean Twin ) with the title ' SSK SSSK '. I will hold it for seven days. If you haven't sent me the filled out Profile by then the character will be opened again without warning to you. If you've read all of the rules and would like to join, PM me your Profile with the title ' CAP CAP !! '.

xx Let me make one thing clear; If you have been caught stealing layouts before, you will be blacklisted from this chat. And if you've been suspected of it, and enough people in this chatroom complain about your presence, I will be forced to remove you even without solid proof. It might seem unfair, but I have to go with what's in the best interest of my chatroom. This also applies for complaints about other issues. If enough members of this chat protest your participation, the mods and I will vote on the issue and you may be removed without warning.

GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS. That's right, it's EVENT TIME. But not just any event, it's Sitar's birthday event! To celebrate her becoming an old lady of 24, we'll be having a super flippin' awesome.... WIZARD'S DUEL. That's right, everyone has suddenly been transported to the wonderful Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry, and rivalry is in the air! So grab your wands and gear up for an all out free for all!

HOW IT WORKS.
Basically, everyone will be allowed to pick which House their characters are in, and you may not change it once you pick because that would be friggin' annoying to me >:/ Anyways, you can challenge anyone you're chatting with to a Wizard's Duel and they can accept or run away like a little b***h, but be careful, it IS a competition! I will keep tally of all of the battles, and update the House Points after each victory. Basically how it will work is each character ( once the challenge has been accepted ) will Dice Roll a Six-Sided Die. Each character will roll three times, and the character with the highest total combined score will be the winner. The amount they won by will be added to their House Points ( so if a match where the winner won 16 to 9, the House Points will be 5 ). You don't have to worry about keeping score, Sitar will add everything up at the end of the event ( or during if she's not lazy =w=;; ). You can challenge your OWN Housemates, but it will not count in the points, so no cheating ~

The event will last from May 9th until May 15th. You may pick your own Houses as I said before, but please, let's not have fifty thousand Gryffindors and Slytherins. You MUST put the House Crest Icon for the House that you picked somewhere visible in your layout so everyone can tell where your character belongs! And be sure to keep an eye out for Fenrir Potter, the keyblade who lived... like a whore, and if you ask nicely, I'm sure he'd even give you his autograph ( or something else;; )~ AND HAVE FUN. Oh, and the losers get touched by Fenny and have to go in his box.

EVENT TIME!
Since I'm sick I feel like punishing everyone else <3 Our event is going to be... Sticky! Mwuahaha, for the few days, every time your character makes physical contact of ANY kind with another character, they'll be stuck together for a period of time! If your character kisses someone, their lips will be stuck to whatever body part they kissed ( ;} ), if they get punched, they'll have a fist stuck to them, and so on. You may pick from intervals of 1, 6, or 12 hours ( or longer ), and if needed you may reset if you log in/out ( but it's more fun for me if you're stuck longer >:3 ). The time limit is up to the Sticker's discretion. If the Stickee ( the one being stuck to ) asks you OOC to remove it for some reason then please, don't be a douche and say no, or Fenrir will grab your a** and be stuck there the whole time, and since he's the 'punishment' he has omnipresence in the chat to grab as many asses as I want~ So... have fun, the event starts NOW ~!!

okay, everyone, the NEW profiles need to be posted in the NEW profile thread by the end of next week ( the 25th ). Some of you never even posted your profiles in the previous thread, and I think I’ve been more than accommodating to schedules as far as posting and activity levels go. So please, get those profiles up asap.

I’m sorry, but if the profiles aren’t up within the week I’m going to be removing characters. It takes literally less than a minute to fill out the new profiles and then maybe thirty seconds to post it in the thread, and I’ve got people PMing asking for characters that are on the taken list but have no profiles posted.

It's Valentines Day~! And you know what that means... it's event time! I know you guys were expecting something crazy, but between the big move and the general chaos, we're just gonna stick with a simple Love At First Sight event. It's not fair to torture you guys all the time... but don't worry, I'll plan something horrible for next time to make up for it <3 You should need me to explain how this works, but if you need a refresher then just scroll down to the Events post and read up on it~
The event will last until Friday since we're getting a tad bit of a later start than I planned.

The new thread is officially open! It was time for a change and Kid, our newest moderator, was generous to do all of the coding for the thread for us~ I think she did a fantastic job, and I really hope you guys enjoy the new look <3 Please continue posting as you were in the previous thread ( we've all been through this move before, so you know what to do ) and have fun!

Also, please take the time to fill out the new profile skeletons and post them as soon as possible in the profile thread if you are already a member ( you guys don't need to send them to me ). If you're new and would like to join, then scroll back up to the rules, read them over, and submit your profiles to me~

And to any new members considering joining, don't be scared off by the low post count. We've been around since 2009 and we're still going strong, we just decided it was time for a fresh thread since the other one was feeling a bit stale. So, kick back, pick a weapon, and have some fun with us~
