Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Don't be so scared." Trent assures her with a friendly smile. "If he's real you'll find out if you die." He looks back at the woman with the bow, spreading his hands pacifyingly. "I did not bring them here intentionally, like I told you before, we were just attempting to seek safety...if we can make any amends to you in exchange for passage out of here, simply name it, friend..."

[Sorry I didn't reply, I didn't have time to tell you that I was going to be at a friends house... sweatdrop ]

Her venumous green eyes flashed, and trailed from one figure to the next. In return to the girl's fright, she said in a cool voice, "In our language, Fridh means forest. The Dark God is the same to us as the one known as... Death, or the Grim Reaper is to you and your own kin."

Turning emotionless eyes to Trent, she hissed between the gap in her slightly opened teeth, "The means and reasons behind what your cause to bring them here mean nothing to us. The only thing that matters to us is these facts. One, it is because of you that they are currently rotting on the forest floor, and so their deaths are your own doing. Two, we are taking great enough risks letting your female friend go, who knows what she could blab to her friends about us, and then your kind will come looking for our own kind, when we have lived in peaceful solitude for centuries. Three, the only reason you are not yet dead, is because I have yet to hear from your dark friend here. And fourth, you have a choice once he speaks. If he does not in the next..." She coutned under her breath, hten answered sharply, "Twenty hours, then you both will be rotting, no matter what place you hold in your society."

She spat the last part, showing how she felt about it.
"I'm not going to blab to anyone!" she protested, frowning sadly. "I.. I have no one to go to. I'm not in a clan or anything.." Mizu shuffled her feet around slightly and tilted her head down. "Sorry for the outburst," she whispered, wincing as though she had been hit. "Just a reaction."

Farore simply raised a dark eyebrow, and what appeared to be a smile of understanding tipped her lips. Softly, whispering to the girl alone, she told her, "You are living my own past, it seems."
"Well, your past must have been horrible then," she mumbled, slumping her figure slightly. She sighed, crossing her arms lightly and narrowing her eyes.

A small, yellow blur wound its way through the young girls legs, making its way over to the woman. After climbing expertly up her side, the little animal sat on her left shoulder and said in a squeaky voice, "Mistress Farore, the Hrak'Salta's are heading over our way."

"Dammit! They never stray from... What are they doing Above?" She asked. One word was said in reply grimly.

"Hunting."
She stumbled back, surprised by the sudden entrance of the creature. The faerie stared blankly at the small creature and tilted her head to the side some. "May I ask what the Hrak.. um.." she paused, unsure of how to say it. "May I ask what is going on?"

Farore looked at the girl and the young man, as if surprised to still see them. After a moment, she ordered in a hurried voice, "Bring them to the village. All who can, stay behind to keep away the Salta's."

Turning to the girl, she answered in a hished voice, "Salta's are the wildest creatures known. But only one race may tame them for use. The Vah'Hrak. Salta's are the aggressive, furry, cousins of Skilts. They are reptilian felines, covered in coarse black fur over the back, with dark green streaks down the spine. The belly is covered in scales the colour of dried blood, a rusty red. Forepaws are furless, and have thick claws designed for battle, rear paws and hind quarters are covered in thick, shaggy, wiry fur. Their tail is catlike, but the end is tipped with a stinger with lethal poison, killing prey in extreme agony under five minutes. Their heads are like that of a large fox, with sharp fangs and a nimble snout. The eyes are forward in the head, that of a hunter. The small, beady eyes come in pairs of two on the female and four on the male. Large horns curl up and back like a goat's. From nose to tail tip out straight, the Hrak-Salta's come in a range of six to eight inches, and stand to the chest of a man."
Mizu blinked at Farore, not quite getting it all. Yet, she did understand that they were nasty looking creatures that were deadly. In a matter of seconds though, the danger she could be put in came to her and she began to panic slightly. "They're not going to get us, are they?!" she asked, biting at her bottom lip.

"They will if we dalley about. A few of the men and myself, as well as Kaij, will be escorting you to the Fradh village." Farore said, and stroked the little yellow animal under the chin. Now that it had kept somewhat still, it was clear that it was fox-like, with three tails tipped with black protruding broudly from its behind. It's whole snout and it's ears were also tipped in black, and it's eyes were drawn back.

But think of it as a baby, about cat sized. Sorry to crowd up the RP with pictures...]
She gave a brief glance to Trent and Steph and looked back at Farore. "Eh.. Can we hurry? I really don't feel like getting killed today." A worried frown curled on her lips and she looked around nervously.

"If you will simply follow me." Farore said with a flourishing bow, and offered a hand to the girl. On her should Jaij squeaked and gripped on, trying not to fall.
Mizu stepped next to Farore, her fingers curled slightly. She stared forward, wondering what the village was like. Hopefully, the others were kind.

"Allow me to lead the way. Once we get to Agony Road, I suggest you close those eyes of yours in case it mentally scars you for life." She said gruffly, and leapt up the overhang where they had been hidden, looking back at the girl for a moment.
She cringed at the thought of what Agony road might looked like. What kind of forest was this? She's never seen or heard of any of these... things. "All right," she whispered quietly.
